Kay, Disney item was precious! NZ does the same kind of thing---also call it enrichment. But let's face it---it is just plain FUN for the critters!!!!!
Thankfully, football IS over, Linda. Tonight was the last game. But basketball tryouts start this week and Troy also plays BB.....and gym floors are VERY hard (as we all know) if he were to fall. Yes, I worry about long term affects after repeated concussions. Look at Mohammed Ali formely known as Cassius Clay!
Lynne, I must have missed where Steve was this week.....hunting trip??? Glad he's home safe and sound!
Oh, great that Aric made it home. Does Uncle Frank live out that way?? Thanks for heads-up, Jo. For some dumb reason, I can't get FB open this evening.....it just sits and spins...
since Ken decided to head to FLA and Steve didn't have to work this week, he ran up to his mom's to help do some autumn cleanup, trimming and other such outside work. My FIL is having much trouble with his knee and feet. He went on Wed and came back this afternoon. I'm so HABBY he's back!
Anyone watch DC's "It's Academic" on Sat. AM's? Oldest running game show in TV history......50 yrs.!!! The host for all those years, Mac McGarry, has not been on air so far this season.....no explanation, just a former weathercaster gal filling in....well, announcement made today that he has retired. He was getting rather feeble, and having some trouble with hearing and seemed to be confused often last season. But what a run!!! I was on a couple of times in HS---in the audience, that is!!
Here's a good story-----Troy's neck was so painful that the ER staff CUT off his FB jersey, which upset him. The Doctor said that if the coach got mad to let him know and he would pay for it!
Concussions are not a good thing that is for sure. I was a little upset recently when my cousin was here. He played pro ball. During the course of conversation he said several things that were very upsetting. I never let on, but Jack and I have talked about it. His memory is very bad! We were at TCU together and he said something that indicated he did not realize we were there at the same time. Then he was mentioning a person from our high school days and I told Norman to tell him hello. Norman was surprised I knew him!! I did tell Norman "We all went to church together!" Oh, that's right he said.
I also worry about Michael as he played football in college as well as high school. He has also always suffered from migraines.
Goodnight, Sharon! Sleep tight. What is on your schedule tomorrow?? Is Andrew playing or conducting anywhere??? Or are y'all just hangin'??
I am right behind you all......I, unfortunately, do have an afternoon activity tomorrow. So up early to get ready to leave by noon. Really would rather stay home....I SHOULD be out blowimg leaves. BUT: since my knee is So bad, don't think I can. Donald is SUPPOSED to come do it....we shall see!
Prayers for all.....and extra prayers for peace---of spirit and mind.
Socks in the dryer--too cold now for plain sneakers!
Lynn, I think 2 weeks is not long enough for Troy to stay away from contact sports! Linda, hope you feel better soon. Lynne, hope you have a nice weekend and all the SBs are gone. I haven't seen any. As mentioned, I, too, was a little surprised to read some of this AM's negative banter over an eagle's yet to be determined name. It's not like Momsters or Dadsters to behave this way on such a small problem. No matter what name wins the vote, we can personally call him anything we like. AMEN
Prayers for Good Health and Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
We did have some Family Friday Fun. It's been 2 weeks since w've seen Jayden. He has added a few words to his limited vocabulary: Circle and Thank You. I do believe he will suddenly start saying a whole slew of words. I am so excited to have Jayden's parents to join us for Thanksgiving dinner (Rachael & Robbie). Yes, LYNN, we truly do miss DEB. Her stories about her trips and hikes, her wonderful photographs, her gentle demeaner, gone, but we will never forget her~
Oh my, Lynn--has it actually been two years already?! It doesn't feel like it's been that long. Sure do miss Deb.
Prayers for Troy tonight for the concussion! Sure hoping he has no lasting effects from it.
Linda, glad to hear that your innards are feeling happier now. Glad that Dennis is OK! Prayers of thanks that you are healing.
DanaMo, I really like the centerpieces. You've done a great job! Good to hear that Aric is home, too.
Lynne2, good to see you tonight. Thank God you don't have jury duty! So glad that Steve is back home, too.
Kay, got the biggest kick out of the Disney video! Gosh, seeing those meerkats made me realize how much I've missed seeing "Meerkat Manor" on Animal Planet. Those little critters are so darn cute!
I am planning to go to the dedication of the Anaheim Coves. It's within walking distance from our house, so I don't have to worry about finding a parking place. Can hardly wait to see what they've done! I imagine it will attract all kinds of water birds.
We haven't seen as much of a variety recently, since they have had all kinds of heavy equipment working up there, moving dirt around, and setting up the walking and bike trails. Really hoping that the pelicans come back this year.
Lolly, sounds about right--our kids in Aubrey usually get our rain about 2 days after it leaves us here in SoCal. We're supposed to have a chance of more rain here on Sunday, too. Praying that all of it heads straight to you!
Well, think I'm gonna call it a night. Have said prayers for everyone, and every critter, and every situation. Making sure the porch light is on, and enabling "night mode" on both security systems. Sleep well, everyone. God bless, and goodnght. Love all of you! :o]
... and bringing up the rear... Goodnight dear friends of the eagles.
Andy, Kay's video reminded me of Meerkat Manor too. Watched it religiously. They are so cute. The tiger was just like a domestic cat-playful.
Wanda & Lynn both with bad knees. Prayers for resolution quickly. I must have twisted my right one on Wednesday. Not the weather predicting one, my so called good one. Durn!
Lolly, hope you get your rain soon and plenty of it. Love the pic of your offspring. Know you're very proud.
Was good to see momsters we haven't seen for a while.
Yes, Deb is missed. I only had a short time to talk with her before she left us. She was very kind to this newbie.
Linda, be careful what and where you eat. I've gone through that with camphlobacter (sp?). State health dept. even called me. I had the salad bar at a Hoss's restaurant. Now I'm very careful at home and out. Take care.
DanaMo, your artistic work is great and am sure your mother will be extremely proud of you work.
Margie, love your avatar. Such a pretty flower.
Jo, left a comment on the pic of you and the former meatball girl. She's growing so fast.
Paula, Gianni is a beautiful child and the Halloween costume was ingenious. Hope you have a good weekend at the paradise. I'm very jealous! ♥♥♥
Hoda with the french talk reminds me of when I was in elementary school. Somehow (don't remember how) the class got penpals and I happened to get one in France. Of course I couldn't speak or read french but my friend's mother translated each letter. It got tedious at each end and slowly stopped. Don't even remember her name.
Geez, it's late again. Waiting for the knee pain to subside enough to sleep. I cheated and took some pain medicine so I should have no trouble in a bit. My Bandit is snoring.
Guess I'll close for this morning and hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday and weekend.
BTW, Lynne & Dana WV, Steeler vs Ravens Sunday night. Should be a good game if everyone is healthy.
Good Morning Eagle Buds ! Here I am, way too early for our eagles and for the Early Birds. We usually get a later start on Saturdays anyway. Seems that every other day I'm up early and every other day I sleep in. Crazy !
DIANN, always happy to "see" you--it's not often enough. It's a shame you twisted your good knee, with all the aches and pains you endure already ! Why is taking pain medication cheating ? Hope you got some good rest after all.
I enjoyed the foreign language chatter ! All three of my kids speak French, Julie most fluently as she was a French teacher prior to changing gears toward Biology. She also speaks German and son, Lee speaks Swahili. They don't get their ear for other languages from me, that's for sure. Their father is married to a Honduran woman and speaks Spanish. His mother was German and never lost her native tongue, so that talent comes from that side of the family tree.
Hell☼ dear gL☺RI ! I thought you might show up soon ! We're about an hour ahead of daylight at the nest, huh ? So, we have some time to talk--tell me what the latest news from Nancy and Al is. Will you be going there for Thanksgiving ?
Kay, I'll most likely be going to PA for Thanksgiving. Hard to tell my Mom no and she's so used to it. This year I also have off the day before Thanksgiving so that will make things much better. It's hard traveling home from work that day before.
Happy to hear you'll be with your parents---so much to be thankful for this year !!!! I'll fly out of Columbus on the 20th and back in on the 29th. This time I'm coming and going from Philly rather than Newark, a new experience for me. Lee says the fare was much cheaper and they don't mind the drive.
I'm thrilled that everyone is enjoying their tugs. They're made with love. I told someone the other day that I enjoy the simple mindlessness of making them. Keeps my hands busy.
I'll donate others that to the County Animal Shelter. My Mom and I made beds for the cats there before and they really appreciated it.
Love that avatar ! We're enjoying temps in the high 50's this week, but will reach 70 in a day or two ! I love it, except for the fact that the blasted gnats are still getting in every time the door is opened. We won't get rid of them til' it freezes ! My little bowls of vinegar n' soap suds are still working, but I'm really tired of the gnutty gnats !
Oh Kay...that's great that you'll have so much time there. Nice that they make the reservations and choose to make it a long visit instead of sending you home the next day! LOL I'll have to learn a Swahili word for you to tell Lee from me. :)
Speaking of DANAMO's reliable alarm clocks, 3 "flying labs", how are the animals at your house. Are they all up and about now ? How are the kitties doing ?
I see on the news that both northern Chile and central Oklahoma have been hit by mild earthquakes. There sure is a lot of rockin' n' rollin' going on under the earth's crust.:(
All animals here are fine. FloBear is doing so much better since I took him off Hydroxazine and put him on Zyrtec. He's not drowsy and is just so happy and animated all the time.
The kittens are all well, thank you. They are so adorable and thankfully healthy! I find myself bursting out laughing at them a lot. It will be hard letting them go to a forever home, but 6 cats in this small house is difficult.
Thanks for the nest weather report ! It's wonderful that FloBear has responded well to Zyrtec ! Is it the same OTC stuff I buy ? I stay in Columbus for Christmas with Julie, Hugh and Seth. By Christmas the roads between here and Grand Rapids are usually a bit treacherous. Eileen and the new man in her life hope to come here once more before the snow flies, early December. There is a big Irish or Contra Dance get together they hope to attend as well as seeing us.
That's great that Eileen will get to come again. Geez, I forgot all about Julie and the Holidays since it seems like we're all coming and going. Do tell about Eileen and her guy!
Just changed avatar. In this month of thanks giving I'll change every few days, so I can show you each of the people I'm so thankful for. This is Eileen, my eldest, taken when she turned 50 several years ago, but she hasn't changed a bit since then. She met Bill through dancing. He's about 10 years older than she, recently retired from The Grand Rapids Library. I met him a couple of years ago when I went to a dance with Eileen. Very nice, trim, athletic, intellectual. They are in luuuvvv and I'm thrilled they finally hooked up !
Lori and Kay: James asked his father the other night, about when they are going to get another dog... so they are on the search... I will ask for one Tug Toy to be set aside in reserve, Lori, please ♥
Glad to hear all the Household Critters are well and frisky, Lori xoxo
Hey, MARGY ! Beautiful Magpie avatar---almost as beautiful as you ! Of course, I didn't know Deb, but can tell she was very special by Momster comments and pictures on some Momster blogs as well.
The "faith test" wasn't too bad. At least I think I was able to answer most questions correctly. Supposedly, the Archdiocese wants to see "where we are" in our faith. What we know and understand and they are going to use this to help them create that classes that are needed in the future-BS The first part of it was all facts based on the Catholic faith. The second part was more "attitudes" towards teaching. Those didn't have right answers because they were statements of faith and we chose between Strongly Agree to Strongly disagree as answers. It angered us that the Archdiocese is putting us through this. Most of us had already been certified catechists but now they are changing the method of certification, so we all have to start the new process, although many are in different stages because of whether or not we were certified before and how high our certification level we previously achieved. The rest of the day was spent on my theology which is just more than we need as Catholic School teachers. I am not, nor do I want to be a theologian. I teach kindergarten. Everything that I learned yesterday dumbed down can be taught to kindergarteners in a short lesson. It's basic faith, but using lots of big words that are hard to understand and I feel totally unnecessary. Okay enough you all probably don't really care to hear all this. As for the centerpieces, I think someone asked, I made 12. There are 6 tables and I made 2 for each table. I included the head table but I have a feeling that I may not need them for that table in which case I will use them for the "memory table" and "cake" table. Going to be a busy day...And I get to make the toast tonight. Not crazy about that but mom is counting on me.
Linda-So sorry you had food poisoning. I've never had it, but I understand it is awful! Glad your "clock" is cleaned and everything is out of your system. Yuck!
The Flying Labs agree that Auntie Lori is the BEST! Too bad we can't have all the dogs playing with their tugs together. Wouldn't that be fun!!
DanaMo that's a workout yesterday for you! I'm confident you surely Walk in the Faith...and Live it and Share it... Best wishes on the Cermonies tonight...♥ ♥ and yay, Aric is home ☺
Thanks Jo! Small and mighty has been a comment used on me before. I surely don't feel that way most days, but I guess I am because I do get 'er done! LOL
Aric is home for the party. So wonderful to have him here. I miss him so much. His siblings are all over him when he gets home, at least the younger ones.
Lynne-Uncle Frank lives in California, but his flight arrived at BWI and he waited for Aric's flight to arrive. Monte drove to Dulles and picked up my Aunt and Uncle (moms sister) from Florida. Lots of friends have arrived as well. It's going to be a grand time.
Glad Paula arrived at the beach safe and sound. Wish I could be at the beach. I am already tired of the cold. I'm not sure how I will make it through this winter. I get worse every year. And that's WITH medication I already take, that's on pill I never miss.
DaaaMo so happy Aric is home. Your center piece is so beautiful. I pray all goes well in the renewing of the vows Your parents are a wonderful couple to do that. I alwsays thing that is so special to do.
DANAMO, good morning ! Thanks for sharing what you went through yesterday with the "faith test". I can understand your frustration ! You'll be a good "toaster", I'm sure. Your Mom must be so proud of you and so grateful for your part in making this a very special anniversary ! I was the one who asked about the number of centerpieces. Wow ! How long did that project take ?
It sounds like there are some doubts about our newbie and his ability to HP. Should we be worried that we won't have a successful mating season? I may have to do some research, you all seem much better informed on this than I am.
Yellow Was James's favorite color, still is I think... and When Deb came for Open House in 2008 she work a Sunny Yellow Sweater...that, with her personality, sealed the deal.. Yellow will always be my Favorite Color ☺ ♥
We were having a floral arrangement made that has the same types of flowers that my mom carried in her bouquet. So I don't think we will need anything else on the head table. I will check when I go over to the Airport Inn today.
MARGY, A few days ago I was thinking about a lovely yellow cardigan sweater I used to have. I want to go in search of another. It was a pale yellow and went with everything ! I have little yellow in my house or wardrobe and yet it has always been my favorite color.
Yes as you can see I lost a very special friend Deb and then my sweet Ed all in the same month and year. Deb was extremely special. The things she did and wrote telling you about them. Made you feel like you was right there with her doing them. Even in the kayak. I miss her so very much. She was such a HAPPY person. That happiness would envelope all she was around. ((((hugs Deb)))))
Just got a news flash from the Washington Post. Andy Rooney, age 92, has died. He didn't get a very long retirement in, but I'm betting that's the way he wanted it. RIP, Andy.
Belle usee to be the one that would always sit in the nest while the other went to get stick. Brining back sticks. This year may be different. He might be sitting in nest and letting Belle bring in the sticks lol young ones
Lori, Carolyn's godson was going hunting with his father this AM.....I wish the doctor had nixed that idea. But at 17, and with a part-time dad in the pic, I guess it is what it is. :(
Kay, good on Eileen for finding a soulmate! She is lovely! Looks a lot like you!
DanaMo, don;t know how in the world you found the time to make all those centerpieces! Envy you your talent and creativeness! You will do fine with the toast tonight! TRY to get a little n ap this afternoon to recharge your batteries!
Love hearing all the TG and Christmas plans.....everything is up in the air for me. MTBD!!
It is SO cold this AM----29° but feels colder. I can't seem to get warm, and I am beginning to wonder about my electric blanket---seems to not be very warm regardless of setting. Hmmmm.
Guess I better brave the chill with my wet hair and go out and get the papers. Brrrr.
Good morning my eagle budlets. On my agenda today is going to Kelsey's mom and sister's yard sale, then going to the ball game to see Andrew and Kelsey in the band. Tonight is game night and tomorrow is David's Bridal for trying on dresses.
Lynn Good Morning...you didn't plug anything else that heats up in on same socket with blanket like a steam iron or heating pad..(sure you did not, but that's how I ruined not one but TWO..) sometimes I just unplug and detach everything and start all over, hope that works.....
Really Margy that will ruin an electric blanket??? If it is plugged into a socket with something else. What about like with an alarm clock??? Or what if you are using a surge protector and have your electric blanket and several other things plugged in. Do you think it would ruin the electric blanket?
Good Morning Lynn ( : Do you not have a fire going?
Well, Margy----my O2 machine is plugged into the same outlet...???????? yikes----really??? I will try plugging it into a different outlet if there is one----I have a feeling there isn't one that it will reach.
Generally the only problem comes with something ELSE with a heating function, heating pad, steam iron....curling iron...regular stuff should NOT bother it....
sorry, I should have specified that better first time
that's how I ruined mine, once, a heating pad, and once, a steam iron....
Lynn how wonderful the carjacker was found "guilty on all counts". That is the good way the system should work.
Thanks for the link about the Post Office and the cookies. It is great they all worked together and there was no danger after all. At least they know if something does happen how the response will be.
I see the "cookies" have been repacked and the sender was notified and they go on their way.
Thanks Margy for the claricifiation because Mother has one Ed and me brought her. I didn't want to cause it to go bad. Thank You ( : Hoping you have a Good Day.
GOOD MORNING... This is my first LIVE look at our Royal couple since the Still cam came on. Male is looking Regal, I must admit! And Belle is as beautiful as ever:)

I read DanaMo on FB that Uncle Frank brought Aric home. And she has finished
the table center pieces. Dana may be small but she sure is mighty! ♥
Hello Lynne Good to see you this evening.
You did it Linda! I followed you but
it sure was unexpected...... ♥
I'm thinking I'll be right behind Lynne and Kay turning in.
Going to watch the rest of Blue Bloods and head upstairs.
May you all have peace in your hearts as you sleep tonight and may all your prayers be answered!!

LOL, Linda----you made the split!! That's what Jo was referring to!

OH...one more thing....Tonight was the night I called to see if my Juror ID number was on the list for Jury Duty Monday, AND IT WASN'T!!! WOO HOO!
Paula checked in, you made good time.
Wonderful to keep hearing of the terrific presents Auntie Lori is sending to all the canine friends on this blog.
I'll sign off wishing you all sweet dreams and God's Blessings.
Have been working on my recipes this evening. Bound and determined to get a little more organized. Grrrrr!
Sorry I missed Lynne. Hi and bye, Lynne. Glad you have your Stubby!
We possibly have rain heading our way Sunday. Yep, have I told you lately? ♪♫♪ Texas needs rain!!♪♫♪

Good news that you don't have to report Monday!
Lori's tuggies sure have been a big hit!!!! Liesl untied the one again!! I'll have to work on it again now that she's asleep!
Lolly, hope you get that rain! It will also give you more time to do your indoor organizing!!
Here's a good story-----Troy's neck was so painful that the ER staff CUT off his FB jersey, which upset him. The Doctor said that if the coach got mad to let him know and he would pay for it!
Oh, and Lynne....the shower water DOES NOT COUNT, unless, of course you stood right there with your mouth wide open the whole time. lol
Wheee I made the split too lol
Hmmm have to read back about the shower water!
Yup good time...even made a quick wally world stop

In Honor and Memory of Deb Palmer
26 Oct. '53--5 Nov. '09
Even tho' we didn't know until the 8th that Deb had left us, the 5th was the day that she transcended earthly life and joined the Kingdom of Heaven.
"And He will lift you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of his hand."
We miss you and love you, Deb.
Yes, LYNN, we truly do miss DEB. Her stories about her trips and hikes, her wonderful photographs, her gentle demeaner, gone, but we will never forget her~

God bless!
ANDY, I used to watch Meerkat Manor, too. They really are cute and I was delighted to see some on the video.
DANAMO, so happy to hear Aric could return for the big celebration ! What a joyous weekend you're going to have !
Well, good morning, KAY!
Nice to see you here so early. :)
Guess I should change the avatar.
When do you leave for NJ? How long will you stay?
Oh look! We both have yellow avatars. Thankful for the sunshine and less breeze today.
LOL
I'll have to learn a Swahili word for you to tell Lee from me. :)
DanaMo must have been up late last night. She's always here by now. Someone send those Labs in to her room.
Maybe she was up late chatting with Aric since his Uncle brought him home.
You and your mother are so talented and so wonderfully generous, too ! I can't make anything but a mess !
Thank you, Kay, but I am far less talented than my mother with far less energy.
Kay, when will you leave for Eileen's for Christmas? You'll be quite the traveler these next few months.
NEST WEATHER
Today: Sunny, with a high near 51. North wind 6 to 10 mph becoming east.
Tonight: Clear, with a low around 31. Light east wind.
Sorry, my deletes. Nest Weather printed three times!
NEST SUNRISE TIME THIS MORNING -7:44
SUNSET TONIGHT - 6:06

Good Morning Eagle Pals...
Looks Like Morning GLori and ☼HI☼ Sunshine Kay so far...
Lynn
Thank You for bringing the sad but poignant post to us right after midnight, in Memory of our Dear Deb...
Deb was one of a kind, the Best Kind
My gratefulness avatar: My very first ever Magpie, sent to me by Deb....from the South Dakota Badlands
♥ Love you and Miss you, Deb, forever and always ♥
Just changed avatar. In this month of thanks giving I'll change every few days, so I can show you each of the people I'm so thankful for. This is Eileen, my eldest, taken when she turned 50 several years ago, but she hasn't changed a bit since then. She met Bill through dancing. He's about 10 years older than she, recently retired from The Grand Rapids Library. I met him a couple of years ago when I went to a dance with Eileen. Very nice, trim, athletic, intellectual. They are in luuuvvv and I'm thrilled they finally hooked up !

Sunrise - Sunset times for nest
Note: you have to add an hour to the times for DST, but tomorrow we return to Standard time so won't have to do that.
Lori and Kay:
James asked his father the other night, about when they are going to get another dog...
so they are on the search...
I will ask for one Tug Toy to be set aside in reserve, Lori, please ♥
Glad to hear all the Household Critters are well and frisky, Lori
xoxo
So "this time tomorrow" it will be one hour lighter...☺
and we will be one hour more rested
Congratulations on your Looooong week-end Lori, wow, you can arise three more days and NOT think about heading "down the road"
Hey, MARGY ! Beautiful Magpie avatar---almost as beautiful as you ! Of course, I didn't know Deb, but can tell she was very special by Momster comments and pictures on some Momster blogs as well.
Absolutely Margy! One tug coming right up. Happy to do it. :)
Thinking of Deb, I always picture her around the nest with the babies. Thought of her with POJ.
Kay, your kids are all so good looking. Eileen is very pretty and doesn't look 50 in that photo! Glad she's found such a great guy!
ISS Fans:
not sure how the flyovers are for your area, but Hereabouts, we are due for a nice one tonight not quite an hour past sunset:
Punch in Your Zip Code and see what you mght have:

The "faith test" wasn't too bad. At least I think I was able to answer most questions correctly. Supposedly, the Archdiocese wants to see "where we are" in our faith. What we know and understand and they are going to use this to help them create that classes that are needed in the future-BS
The first part of it was all facts based on the Catholic faith.
It's good to hear the Jame'es are beginning to look for a dog. They'll know when the right one comes along and I know the Kidster will be so happy !
DanaMo
that's a workout yesterday for you!
I'm confident you surely Walk in the Faith...and Live it and Share it...
Best wishes on the Cermonies tonight...♥ ♥
and yay, Aric is home ☺
Kay
Beautiful avatar, beautiful daughter...!
Light approaches the nest....☺
Glad Paula arrived at the beach safe and sound. Wish I could be at the beach. I am already tired of the cold. I'm not sure how I will make it through this winter. I get worse every year. And that's WITH medication I already take, that's on pill I never miss.
Good Morning Kay, Lori, Margy and DanaMo
DaaaMo so happy Aric is home. Your center piece is so beautiful. I pray all goes well in the renewing of the vows Your parents are a wonderful couple to do that. I alwsays thing that is so special to do.
BTW-I feel no different since I started taking my iron. This is why I don't bother! I will continue and up the dose maybe starting today.
Wow ! How long did that project take ?
why not need centerpieces for the head table??
And you'll do fine on the Toast...
DanaMo (( Hugs ♥ ))
It sounds like there are some doubts about our newbie and his ability to HP. Should we be worried that we won't have a successful mating season? I may have to do some research, you all seem much better informed on this than I am.
Yellow
Was James's favorite color, still is I think...
and When Deb came for Open House in 2008 she work a Sunny Yellow Sweater...that, with her personality, sealed the deal..
Yellow will always be my Favorite Color ☺ ♥
Happy to share that favorite with you also Kay
Lynne2-sorry your FIL is having so much trouble with his legs and feet. Not good.
Hi Lolly and Kay, sorry I missed you last night. Maybe I will catch you today.
As you can see I do all my reading and catching up in the morning. Sorry to bombard with so many posts.
Fabulous avatar of Wanda's - Jayden and his parents....
Happy Paradise Week-end Paula
Oh I thought I was alone. Good morning Margy.
We were having a floral arrangement made that has the same types of flowers that my mom carried in her bouquet. So I don't think we will need anything else on the head table. I will check when I go over to the Airport Inn today.
Time for me to get ready for my "Friday"
thinking of all those seen and unseen on here
Prayers for the relief and recovery from all ailments
Best Wishes for a Good Day, Everyone
xoxo ♥
and
Happy Anniversary to your Parents, DanaMo ☺ ♥ ☺ ♥
Morning Kay and DanaWV!!!
I was so busy reading and typing that I wasn't looking to see who was posting. Bad me...LOL! More coffee needed!
MARGY, A few days ago I was thinking about a lovely yellow cardigan sweater I used to have. I want to go in search of another. It was a pale yellow and went with everything ! I have little yellow in my house or wardrobe and yet it has always been my favorite color.
Thank you Margy. My parents are so cute! I will post pictures either tonight or tomorrow or the ceremony and party. I am excited for them.
Lynn, is there an update on Christy's Godson today?
Good Morning DanaWV!
Have a great "Friday," Margy. We'll be watching for you to check in.
((((hugs Deb)))))
ok DanaMo, I see your answer, about the headtable, sounds lovely !
Hope you get to see the Eagle Pair this morning...
Newbie Male knows how to mate, he is just a little clumsy sometimes
gotta go 'bye
but am watching the nest while getting ready for work
OH I see that Eagle !!!
EAGLE
TWO EAGLES!
I want to apologize on here for my behavior yesterday on the blog. If I had a problem with someone I should have written them an email and NOT have put it on the blog. I ask all that it disturbed for forgiveness. I pray you can do that for me; that is forgive me.
remember you can hit your refresh button every five seconds or so, you do NOT have to wait 30 seconds !
Awesome View of the Nest Pair !!
Apology accepted, DanaWV. I admire that you can do that. It's not easy for some.
Forgiveness Given from the Magpie, Dana...
(( Hugs ♥ ))
Go Watch the Eagles !!!
Thank you God for sending in the eagles as I wrote that. I believe you have forgiven me God.
Both in the nest and doing nestorations. Close together
THEY'VE BEEN MESSING AROUND IN THE NEST CUP AREA SINCE FLYING IN.
Aren't they beautiful ? !!! I hope color arrives while they are still there. I want to compare their shades of brown.
EAGLES!!!
both were looking around bending their heads don't know what they seen
HEADS UP AND LOOKING ALERT TOWARDS 10 - 12.
OH DID A 180, LOOKING OUT AT 7 NOW.
just a guess male on left Belle on right
LOOKS LIKE BELLE STANDING IN NEST CUP, BUT COULD BE OPTICAL ILLUSION AND OTHER EAGLE IN FARTHER AWAY.
I think so Lori
POOF
SO WHO IS STILL IN THE NEST. WISH WE COULD SEE HIS BLACK SPOT.
LONE EAGLE STANDING IN CENTER OF NEST FACING 6.
Good reporting Lori ( :
I believe the male Poofed and Belle remains.
I have enlarged picture can't tell for sure who is there.
EAGLE ACTING LIKE BELLE - VERY QUIET AND STILL IF LEFT ALONE IF THE NEST.
If she/he would lift their head the feathers under neck are different
TOO BRIGHT TO SEE A DARK SPOT IF THERE WAS ONE.
IT HAS GOT TO BE BELLE. THE MALE EAGLE WOULD BE MAKING NESTORATIONS AND FIDDLING WITH SOMETHING.
Sits there just moving head all around
I believe so Lori
Darn. I've got to go and get ready to take Kate to drop her car off at the shop for repairs.
Make it a great day, everyone! I love you all. Big HUG!!!
When Belle turns her head a certain way there is a v in her feathers under her neck. So I do believe this is Belle
Thank you Lori and have a good day hugs
both eagles in nest
Just got a news flash from the Washington Post. Andy Rooney, age 92, has died. He didn't get a very long retirement in, but I'm betting that's the way he wanted it. RIP, Andy.
Yes Kay you are so right - tha is how Andy would have wanted it.
Eagle left one in nest
Just came back in
Our male is living up to JUDYE,s Boomerang moniker ! What a restless guy he is. Too bad JUDY isn't here for the "show".
spot is on head of eagle on the left Male on left Belle on right Belle just flew out
back again
That was Belle that left and came back
I think he is lighter in color than Belle, PAULA ! His spot gets washed out in the sunlight, but every once in a while it shows up faintly.
No HP because that is Belle in back of him
Now he looks darker than Belle--has to be the lighting---time will tell.
I had enlarged the picture again and the spot was on the head. When he was in front and Belle in back
one flew out again
I think Belle is in back and just flew out and he is now alone
lol Belle might have to bring the sticks in this year instead of the male with this young one
gone
Nice visit, gotta run. HAGD all ! BBL
Belle usee to be the one that would always sit in the nest while the other went to get stick. Brining back sticks. This year may be different. He might be sitting in nest and letting Belle bring in the sticks lol young ones
Bye Kay have a good day ( :
Nice long visit. I'm heading off...have a great day everyone.
Good morning!
See that I missed this morning's eagle visit. Was busy fixing breakfast. We had Cream of Wheat.
Need to get ready for the fence people to show up and get started. BBL.
Morning all.
Andy Rooney has died.....a long life...92 y.o. Too bad, but not too unexpected after last weeks report. RIP, Andy. Thanks for all of the humor!
I saw our birds....but my SnipIt isn't working--argh! Will reboot and see if it repairs itself.
Hi Lynn,
Yes, we just heard about Andy Rooney, too.
Lori, Carolyn's godson was going hunting with his father this AM.....I wish the doctor had nixed that idea. But at 17, and with a part-time dad in the pic, I guess it is what it is. :(
Good morning my eagle peeps.
Lynn
Good Morning...you didn't plug anything else that heats up in on same socket with blanket like a steam iron or heating pad..(sure you did not, but that's how I ruined not one but TWO..)
sometimes I just unplug and detach everything and start all over, hope that works.....
Good Morning more Eagle Pals
xo
Really Margy that will ruin an electric blanket??? If it is plugged into a socket with something else. What about like with an alarm clock??? Or what if you are using a surge protector and have your electric blanket and several other things plugged in. Do you think it would ruin the electric blanket?
Good Morning Lynn ( :
Do you not have a fire going?
Here's the final report on the post office situation!
Cookies!!
What a hoot!
Bye DanaMo have a grand time ( :
Good Morning Shirley thinking of you and the fence this morning.
Good Morning Thelma and Sharon.
Lots of do to today and tonight with Andrew and Kelsey and family.
What a special and wonderful time.
Well, Margy----my O2 machine is plugged into the same outlet...???????? yikes----really??? I will try plugging it into a different outlet if there is one----I have a feeling there isn't one that it will reach.
Shar---sounds like you have the days well-planned. Dress shopping can be fun, but also sometimes NOT! Good luck!!
Margy---the carjacker was found guilty on all counts!!! I remember hearing that whole scenario on the scanner as it unfolded.
** DanaWv and Lynn **
Generally the only problem comes with something ELSE with a heating function, heating pad, steam iron....curling iron...regular stuff should NOT bother it....
sorry, I should have specified that better first time
that's how I ruined mine, once, a heating pad, and once, a steam iron....
and once the damage is one, it's done...
saw that report, Lynn...
kept waiting to see the verdict....
Got my SnipIt tool fixed. Somehow it had switched itself to a window capture instead of the normal way to frame a pic. DUH!!??!!
My avatar is in HONOR OF DEB PALMER one of the best and most special Momsters I had the pleasure to meet. I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU VERY MUCH DEB. I ALWAYS TOLD YOU HOW YOUR STORIES MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS RIGHT THERE WITH YOU DOING AND SEEING SAME AS YOU....THANK YOU FOR GIVING SO MUCH TO ME/US OF YOURSELF....HUGS AND LOVEAlso thank you Lynn for the reminder. I do have it where it comes up in my email each year. Still thank you for posting about Deb.

Couldn't get in to post when the eagles arrived.
Now, isn't that a wonderful sight!
Belle on edge of nest and male in middle of nest can see spot
males head is down
Looked away and now there's one.
Jim brought me a cup of coffee so guess I'll keep him.
Second eagle back!!!

Belle in middle of nest male on left of her near edge of nest
Good morning Dana. Are we the only ones watching this?
I see the spot on the one at the top of the nest.
