Morning all, just checking in from work.
I have responded to DanaWV email. I understand that many will want to support Lynn in that way and I respect that. However, choose to not do so. It feels too much like a memorial or tribute and Lynn is still very much with us, so I will keep my vote as it was. Also, I personally feel that Lynn would not want sympathy votes for the name she liked just because of her illness!

Good morning from Fairfax! We arrived at the hospital promptly at 8:00 am. Mom had been up and walked into the hallway and back. Her knee is sore and they had PT come up to assist in heer getting up. A little nauseated. Better spirits today so all is well. Dr has been in and spike with us all. Will know better of what were dealing with soon. Some prelimatry results should come in today. Have relayed all your love and prayers, the candle being lit by all, Shep in the lead, the live cam bein on. She has had alot of royal hospital treatment this morning. Still no food, just clear liquids. I imagine she wil be on computer little while later. Much love from the three of us!!!!!! Xoxo

Yes she is craving a cheeseburger!!! So as soon as she is on solids.well enough to have some fast and grease, she will get that cheeseburger!!!!

Last time I was on a liquid diet, they accidentally brought be something else--I think it was just the soft foods, and the nurse said that I should go ahead and eat it. Bless her. Maybe someone can arrange an "accident" for Lynn.

Yes Jewels she can't be nauseated and eat solids. Have to wait until the nausea leaves. She will get that cheeseburger in time lol
JEWELS, thank you for the update, happy to hear your Momma has been up and about a bit and that things are going well. I can empathize with her on the diet. Recently I was hospitalized from a Tuesday at noon til' Friday at 4 or 5pm. Solid food ? I had one dinner, one breakfast and one lunch. It will be grand when she can go home where she can have anything she wants and where good rest is possible ! Hugs for you 3 beautiful women and for JUDIE when she pays a call ! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

We got another wee bit of rain last night and we are thankful for every wee bit! 2 tenths! Jack went ahead and ran the sprinklers, it was our day to water. It has finally gotten a little cooler, 61 presently.
Today we start really getting ready for our trip. Beginning to get very excited, a whole week with my boys!
Kay, I think it is your granddaughters that are tall. I meant to say something. I am tall, almost 5'9" and Laurel is 5'11". When she was a teenager I loved going to mall with her. I would get so tickled watching people "watch" her. Guys heads would about twist off! The really neat thing is she is as beautiful on the inside as on the outside!
Do not like talking to myself. lol So, I am off for now and will be back. Strange sounds of tools being used on the cam!
wow, a client just had a huge basket delivered to us full o Pepperidge Farm cookies, Ghiradelli chocolates, coffe and tea, Rusell Stover samplers.......UGH!

I heard the drops a couple of minutes ago...they should still have the reset on the sound...it checks the sound each hour and resets that connection, so the sound should come back on.
That would be neat if he was Paula...sort of like. His home away from home for Nu. I also would love to see him again. He is so good with caring for the nest.

Have been pretty busy trying to stay on task with the work this morning. Two more reports, and I'm finished! BTW, got a note from the doctor, and they're giving me a
$.10 per page raise!!
Here's another pic of the Anaheim Coves (my new avatar). All the trees, shrubs, ground cover, etc. is now totally native to the SoCal area. There's a new tree in the foreground, one that was already there in the background, and you can see part of the Santa Ana River. They've added some big boulders to the area, too--looks nice!

LOLLY, yes and thank you, I am feeling better. Almost back to my "normal" as it was before this all started. Much of it due to Momster prayers, I'm sure ! Our family is all tall, too. Eileen is our runt at 5'7", I'm next at 5'8", but I was once 5'10". A two inch loss due to the ol' spine sinking. Bah humbug !

It has been raining here in Nestville most of the day. It is 57° and very dismal. Tomorrow will only go up to 46° and sun/showers.
Have run my errands. Found "Fighten guys", the ones the boys like. Got six each. They will be habby! Will put them in a plastic bag and then inside a box to bury them. Certainly hope the weather cooperates. The day we want to bury the treasure has a high of 38 and snow predicted. Uh oh!

Lynn is very much appreciative of all the momster prayers for healing. She thanks everyone.
Lynn is doing well. She and Carolyn and I chatted and laughed a bit. Lynn is still on pain medication and was beginning to tire so I gave her a big momster hug and your love. She may, may, be released tomorrow but perhaps it will be Friday. She wrinkled her nose about the grape pop sickle. She wants "good" potato soup. I took her a bottle of "clear liquid" with instructions to "slug as needed."
Have asked Carolyn or Christie to call if we are needed and to let me know if Lynn will be discharged tomorrow. If she stays until Friday, I will take her more "clear liquid."
Off to class.

Bird inventory: Titmice, chickadees, downy woodpeckers, cardinals, house sparrows, nuthatches, blue jays, juncos and a couple of squirrels. Oh wait, squirrels aren't birds, are they?

Just wanted to let you all know that Kris is still hanging on. He posted a picture of his boys being Daddy's helper this morning.
SHARON, at my former Tarpon Springs, FL condo we had flying squirrels. Quite a sight to watch them spread their bat like wings and fly from a pine tree to a balcony. They could do some serious damage to plants and patio decor, too !

Firefighters battle fire at Butcher Athletic Center: Firefighters are battling a fire inside the Butcher Athletic Center at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, W.Va.
Washington County units have been sent to help fight the blaze, apparently in bleachers, inside the facility, a Washington County Emergency Services supervisor said.
