Margy, I have a gorgeous Saguaro National Monument sunset I'll share with you if you want it. I can change my avatar and once you've snagged it I'll go back to my sunflower. Just say the word.
Kay! I appreciate the offer but I have been wanting to put this one up since I learned you like Yellow Flowers !! I totally love my Magpie - "Paula's Magpie" - but I will share this yellow beauty for awhile now ☺
I have to tell you this, I sometimes misspell Nugz's name and have to go back and edit Nutz to Nugz ! I didn't want to tell you, but it is true, Paula. and I almost typed Nubz just now LOL
I see Thelma has renamed us "Momstes"
Glad to hear the Bluefield Gang will be a Gang once again !!
Oh I had a great time playing in the dirt tonight ! Re-planted my Megan Flowers, have a few singles potted up to share with a friend, and got one tomato plant into the ground... and then watered everything with some fish emulsion added, oh stinky ! Just call me Alfie
time for a phone call to Roanoke Mary my sister, and then a tubby
Feeling better. Had a salad of taco chips, cheese, salsa. Healthy? No. Taste good? yes.
Surgery is done by using a 3" piece of tendon from the inside wrist. Placed to provide a cushion between the two joint bones. I'm not incapacitated. Just need to think before I try to lift something heavy or open jars, etc. I can live with it for now.
Would love to see Liesl sleeping on her back. Cannot find words to say how happy I am that she and Lynn are working out as a mom and babe.
Okay, going to watch some Bobby Flay BBQ. Gotta quit the food channels -- gaining weight just watching.
Thanks for the reports for the visits tonight. Paula thank you for Belle's short visit...it was good to see her. It was lovely on the beach, saw an Osprey and many small birds in song...people out taking in the sun. The weather is certainly coming in though...so back to the coats and shoes tomorrow with even some socks...it was good to have three days of sun.
It was so nice of our eagles to visit long enough to assure us they are healthy and at least moderately happy !
Time for this early bird to head for a last check of e-mail and then to beddy bye.
I have the prayer list at the ready and will check first thing in the morning for any revisions.
Can't even begin to tell you all how much you mean to me---how much our chatter helps me make it through each day---how wonderful it is to share the common interest we have in birds and eagles in particular.
I love the cam at NBG really nice job they did Ok just in case I don't make it back NITE NITE one and all God Bless this nest and all whom watch it Healing thoughts and prayers for all whom need them Will be sleeping in YEAH I love my bed "Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
Good evening all. Another busy day...worked all day.
Dr. Baker is out of the hospital. In addition to a plethora of additional blood tests, they did C, T and L spinal taps, and C, T and L CT Scans. It's a wait and see on the results, and I will actually see her tomorrow to talk to her about what the current plan is. Thanks so much for all of the prayers!
Shirley, I am so happy to read that your biopsy showed no issues!
Judie, sorry about your hand. UGH...I have concluded that aging is not for sissies. Hope you are able to deal with it for a long time without too much discomfort before having to have surgery.
Paula, glad Nugz is back home with you and feeling a bit better!
Good news about Shar and Thelma moving back to Bluefield!
Glad you are getting some rain Lolly, hope you escape any severe weather.
Ok Lynne! Been waiting to "see" your smiling face on here ! And will continue to pray for your dear friend
Hoda: How nice, your walk on the beach. Ha Ha, socks and sandals coming up eh ? Well not ha ha exactly but I have been known to do that, very fashionable...NOT ,most people make fun of me when I do that !
Andy, congrats on the job! Hope Emma is over her bad choice of a meal!
Lori, I know you aren't here...but I have to say...the Left Behind Series...WOO HOO!! I read them ALL in one summer. I got them from the library and was back ever couple of days for the next one. Once the one I needed was OUT!! From then on, I always got the next 2! Couldn't put them down, the whole rest of my life was on hold!
Paula, Thank you very much for the second video of Belle and Truder. I am glad I saw them even though I missed the event.
magpie, I think so long as I can avoid the boots again I am fine with laughter as to foot wear. ;^) I am open to socks and sandals, but I think it will be a down pour tomorrow so it will have to be shoes and socks...I am not at all resistant to socks and sandals...that is cool...so I hope you all enjoy your warm weather tomorrow...
Wanda, sorry to hear that GG is having pain issues again. Medical Week might not be a bad idea! I think MD just passed something about that, but dang if I can remember. My brain is cattywampus!
Sorry to hear that Bob took a spill. Hope you aren't too sore Bob!
DanaWV, SO glad you finally got some bluebirds this year!!
Sissy, I'm sorry about Tom's back and Mattie's mouth. wishing them both a quick recovery.
Shirley, sleep well. You deserve a trouble-free sleep.
Lynne2, I hope the test results for Dr Baker will be definitive so treatment can be decided. Please tell her about the Momsters and that we hope she's better soon.
T-Bird and Shar are headed back to Bluefield? Way nice!
Margy, the more that goes wrong the more excuses I have to do nothing -- helpless, you know.
I'm not too sure about sandals and socks. Looks strange to me but what do I know?
Okay, I've set the night light to turn on at 11:00pm in case anyone has to get up in the dark -- no more falling or stubbed toes, thank you very much.
I'll be back in the morning then off to the school house. Restful sleep for all.
the stupid do hicky thingy that's in the drain that you can set to close or open doesn't come OUT. We didn't have time to take the thing apart this morning. And my day was so busy that I had forgotten about it, until just now! DUH! So now, there has been much water flowing through, and I bet it's long gone.
Lolly you and I think Wanda talked about a raised bed or platform garden ?? I saw once here in town, a place that had tables, about four feet high, for little container gardens, now THAT is right up my alley! That is on my wish list and I think James's father could make one up for me would be great for herbs and little delicate things for sure
Well, if Steve is not shaving, then there's 3-5 gallons of water (acc to the Budweiser ad) that is not going down that drain !
That ad actually came up tonight when I opened up the Outdoor Channel, much more entertaining than that ridiculous Unprepared Man's Fishing Guide thing
I'll pray for the earring, Lynne, and ask Saint Anthony about it also, you know, the patron saint of Lost Things ! Really hope you can fish it out of there !
I shouldn't say NOT shaving, he still has to shave a little, but he's kept the beard much longer this year than in the past. Because he HATES to shave!
Hoda okay, so shoes and socks it is for a day or so, sure hope Springtime arrives and stays around for good soon
I hope we find out more about how Bob Q is doing....he might be a little shy about showing up here and getting teased, but sure hope he knows WE CARE !!! We have Eagle Canes to loan out, certainly Prayers for Bob's swift recovery
It looks like there is glue holding the PCV (PVC?) on the places where you'd unscrew it. I'm thinking it's too late anyway, but if we try to take it apart and mess something up, it may not go over well with the landlord.
I must be in a different time zone! It keepsd getting later than I think it is! HAPPY BITHDAY DEXTER! Arf, arf!! Read most of Blog. Shirley, praises for a negative biopsy!!! God Bless. Get Well thoughts for Judie's thumb, Mattie's cheek, Bob's bruises (if any), GG's pain & any others I missed on list. Special Feel Good prayers for Nugz! Thx for viedeos, Paula! ☺ Well, enjoyed what I read this evening. Sorry I wasn't on, but am home tomorrow. Of course should be doing 4000 things around here!!(But want to play with new pics!! ☺) Gotta see news, so to all hitting the hay, Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
funny story...Steve was out last evening walking the dogs, and heard a bird that he has never heard before. So he came in and went through our Backyard Birdsong Guide Book. He really thought he heard himself a good one, some rare exotic bird we haven't seen or heard before! He listened to ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN songs before he found the song, and it was just a Cardinal!! He was so mad!
part two....Later, he was getting out of the shower and he heard all this commotion coming from downstairs, sounding like someone was coming through the living room window. So he grabbed Buford, and sneaked down the stairs, ready, if you know what I mean. As he got to the bottom, Joker, our strictly indoor cat, jumped up from the OUTSIDE of the window! He had ripped a hole in the bottom of the screen and got out! Joker is very lucky that he wasn't blown to pieces!
Joker likes to sit in that window and watch the birds at the feeder that hangs there. I guess he wanted to get more up close and personal! And now we have to fix the dang screen.....UGH! Gotta love this furry brats!
Just a quick drop in if anyone is still awake. I'm doing fine. Minor bruises on my face, sore leg and a concussion. No broken bones. Fell down three steps then a landing then two more steps on Sunday. Went to the ER and got XRays and a cat scan. Everything came out clean. Walking without a limp as of today. No need to worry, I'll be out taking photos in a day or two. ☺
Lynne, one of our cats had a thing about all the window screens in the house. She could take out any screen! She knocked them out and sometimes she just ate a hole.
Then there was our cat that ate socks and sweaters. She would gnaw on them and make a perfect circle hole. Ruined many nice clothes and socks. Hard to teach kids to pick up everything!
Funny story about Steve and the bird song! but hey, he is interested! Great for him!
Yesterday I saw a "different" bird on one of my hanging bastkets...stealing flugg. Called Jack. We were looking at it with binoculars....it was a Mockingbird, but the biggest one I have ever seen!
Lynne, sure hope that Dr. B;s tests reveal some solid clues as to what is going on. Sorry about your earring.....I hate to say it, but it IS probably gone....no weight so it probably floated right on out. Will Steve keep the beard in the summer heat? Oh, yeah---I posted on here the day last week that Myrtle returned! FB pics are the old ones form 2 yrs. ago!
Shirley and Judie....sleep well. Will you both have graduation ceremonies to attend soon??
Margy----I can just picture you in sandals and socks.....NOT my style----but kids always make fun of me wearing hose with open-toed shoes and with capris! I NEVER go out without hose!!!
We had a delightful evening with Alexis and her dad (gs) We did go to cracker barrel and Alexis and her pap played checkers. I also saw that they are displaying their sturdy Eagle canes again. Last one I got was raffled off to Wanda. Yes, I bought one for myself!
Just looked up above puter on the wall picture - SB on it but as I looked down at the screen as I typed this I looked up & he isn't there anymore.
Oh, Bob, thank goodness you checked in to let us know you are okay! Concussion is no fun.....do you still feel rattly and headachey??? Poor Dadster....feel your pain, as it WAS. Hope it doesn't return! Please be careful!!!! Just hope the konk on th ehead doesn't mess up your memory.....RUMSEY, RUMSEY, RUMSEY!!!!
Buford, huh, Lynne? Interesting name! Makes Steve sound like a good ol' southern boy! Poor cat must have scared himself silly! Bet Steve will never forget what a card sounds like!!! Goodnight to all turning in. Rest well.
MARGY...we talked about a RAISED garden, but decided the tub garden would work best for us this year. Photo of the TUBBIES on blog: Wanda's Wishes. We bought plants yesterday to put in the tubs. Gene has planted GG 's garden with spinach, squash, cucumbers and need to buy some beans .
GG did well, going to get her hair done. She used her cane and that helped quite a bit. Thinking of getting her one of those thingys that you push with two handles and 4 wheels.
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING FOR GOOD RESULTS FOR SHIRLEY
Sure was good to hear from Bob Quinn late last night...wow, what a double tumble.... He might benefit from a couple of Poop Shoot Facials and some Fishycures....
Glad to read that GG had a good day also, Wanda so what do you think of my idea of a table top garden?
Megan I had such fun with my plants last evening, and added some fish emulsion to my watering can !
Best wishes for a good day, everyone...wherever you are and whenever you make it on here !!
I am happy to report that Lonely Bluebird may have found a mate at last!! I saw him with a female at the nest box in the back field! So maybe I'll have TWO nests this year!
Kate just emailed that a fox strolled out from behind the stable area where the vultures have their 2 eggs which they just incubate on the ground. Oh I hope not. Would a fox eat bird eggs?
oh Lori, a fox is an opportunistic feeder and would likey eat the eggs....IF he can get to them. Don't think he'd try to mess with parents though, so hopefully there is a parent on the eggs.
Good morning everyone. I am glad to read that Bob checked in. A concussion hmmm doesn't sound so good. Dex enjoyed his birthday indeed. If it stays nice this morning I think it could be bath day for hmmmm.
See where Kaymentions having the prayer list ready for this morning and will post after she checks on additions etc. Yeak Kay As Lori first said Copy Paste, add or revise as needed. etc. Sure gives a summary of important information at a quick glance for those who pop in and out a few times a day etc. That would often be me. I do care and love knowing what is happening here with all of you.
OK Dex and I are off for coffee and dog treats. There are short videos and photos from Birthday on facebook. Think I will quickly go grab a link or 2 :-)
Good Morning THELMA and cute dog! What's his name TBird?
LYNNE - I'll only have a vulture nest IF the fox didn't eat the eggs. But I won't disturb the parents to look for a few days. I probably flash back to the "Left Behind" series daily. I miss it.
Great idea on the Prayer List, Lynne. Sorry everyone that I didn't get it done/updated this morning. I was overwhelmed just trying to get on the blog which was offline from 1 until almost 7 this morning.
Prayer List was not my idea BUT Lori's. I do love the idea however.
We'll see if it catches on. MTBR as Lori said Copy paste and add as necessary. I am sure it could be done in Blue. I bolded yesterdays praises as they came to make them stand out of regular type some.
Guess Kay can't get on with hers. I really can't go back and find them all right now. So well prayers for all the needs I have seen as well as those He knows the details of that I don't.
Its Bath and trim time here today. Hoping to get both done. Oh the trim that would be outside :-)
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE... I see a lot of us went into PANIC mode when we couldn't bring up the blog and now, I see we will have to sign in again...hope this works. Sometimes, Blogger Cop refuses to recognize us!
It is a beautiful morning here in Nestville...61° going up to 78°, a very good gardening day for MEGAN and the rest of we locals:)
MARGY...Table top garden is a great idea, easy on your back and very little weeding. GO FOR IT!
Thinking of Shirley this morning and sooo happy for her test results. Now, she can go on enjoying the thought of her pending retirement!
Lynne, two bluebird nests? NOT FAIR! But, do thank you for sharing photos of them:) Have you seen any Monarchs, yet? Houses being built across from our house destroyed the Milkweed where I have been finding my caterpillars and eggs:( Gene and I went over to peek into one of the new houses and discovered a patch of Milkweed which the bulldozers missed. Might dig them up and bring them over here...don't think they would care.
What sweet photos of Dex's birthday celebration, GLO...you are a wonderful Doggie Mommie!
Too bad, Paula... I think all of my nesting birds have disappeared.....swallows, wrens, chickadees.....not a single sighting of any for two days. Wonder if the snake managed to get them all?? :(
Oops----good morning all! Hope everyone is having a good day. I am not off to a good start. Liesl had a little piddle accident in the living room.....AND I had to chase a pileated off the balcony. Don't know if he was drilling on the railing or on the house---almost afraid to go up and look. I think he scared me more than I scared him. I was expecting a small woodpecker, NOT a huge pileated.
Good morning! Not speaking to Lynne. Get her, Lori! She is hogging the birds again!!! Grrrr! Two bluebird nests????? NOT fair! Jack built me a bluebird box....sparrows took over.
Unbelievable....we still have our AC off! It was 63 this morning, now up to 68. Love it!
Going to put off mowing until tomorrow. Pretty wet out there. More rain possible today. Would like to put in an order for the rain to come next week. LOL Guess it does not work that way.
Paula, I love seeing Nugz picture right here by the comment box. Scratch him behind the ears for me, please.
Bosco, Laurel and Joey's dog, is in stick heaven! They had a large dead tree cut down. We are getting the firewood, but there is still a mess. He is lugging large sticks all over the yard. LOL
I have been waiting for wrens to make nests like last year. Had one in a flower pot and one in my kitchen window last year, but no luck this year. Do have a mockingbird nest in a vine on a trellis off the patio. Neighbor said the mocking birds have been diving at her cats but have not seen them go after Annie.
See in paper that Norma Zimmer---the Champagne Lady from Lawrence Welk show---has died at age 87. Always a fun memory of watching that show whenever we spent a weekend at my Grams & Pop's house!! "A one and a two...."
Lynn, what did you think of AI last night? They are all so good. I think Haley should go, though she is good. Have meeting at church tonight. Will record and watch when I get home.
I have this on Facebook but the blogger cop wouldn't let me post it this am Seems we all had the same issues this is sooooo cute I love the babies laugh BUBBLES AND A BABY
I picked up Jordyn as I always do and we went to the park We went on the swings once and down the slide and she was pushing her baby in the stroller and she turns and looks and me and says "go home OMa" was only there maybe 30min and she wanted to go home I was so shocked that she didn't want to play so we are home and she is now watching the Wiggles We usually are there a good 2 to 3 hrs and she wanted to go home I think I was more disappointed than her Angie said she thinks she may be comin down with something I know I got that odd feeling in the back of the nasal cavity area like a cold is comin on I hate working with the public always seem to pick up something even though I hand sanitize 100 times a day
I am off to lunch with past co-workers and then will meet up with the Bragg Bunch minus Sgt Patrick - Army wouldn't give him leave this weekend. It is graduation for UMD for Christine so she's a real trooper and drove her and the girls up to town. Meeting up with them after lunch.....
Whew ! Only have a minute, but had to see if the error messages were gone. I tried over and over, but couldn't get on earlier---now I see I wasn't alone. I can't stay now, but will bring the prayer list forward if no one has done so by the time I get back. I took note of the Belle n' Truder visit by hand since I could get the cam. Will also detail that, if no one has done so....
Hope everyone is having a great day, except for the fact that we early birds feel like we were being picked on today ! ☺
looks like we are up funny my picture of the wedding is not here and that was my last picture and they didn;'t restore all post like they said they would I wonder if Steve new threats will come through
There are fan pages out there I think anyone can make a group I know there is a option on the side of the facebook home page that says start a group this is what I have listed on the side I'm sure we all do I am a fan of the following Fans of the WVEC... Eagle Cam Addicts Friends of Ponca Create Group
GO FOR IT SCOTT I'm sure we all agree . Pam had the one up but was made to make it go away and is unable to do another because of family issues I wonder how she is doing she is the one that got me started with this blog I only was a watcher of many nest
We could do both- I do like the blog- but Face book is faster- but all could see what you say and isn't as personnel but it would be great to have a FAN Page Do you have to get permission to use thier name I wonder. Pam H should be able to tell us Ok BBL other wise I will go on and on HAHAHa
Life-time FF with Hedgesville Volunteer Fire Department died at the of 42 from cancer, long funeral procesional from Martinsburg WV to the other side of Hedgesville, WV police escort, including Sheriffs Department, Deputy Reserves, and City Police here in town
firetrucks and motorccyles also in the processional
From work here, we just sent out the fire tones at 1300 - "Last Call" He has gone, home...... xoxo ♥
Sounds good to me but I'm just a newbee Everyone else out there what do you think I know most are away from the computer as I should be doing something else I just a addict I guess Eagle Cam Addicts is already taken that would have been a good name also
@Judy Yea but if you are using the Facebook wall then it would be so much easier to see who replied to you as the posts are in a sense threaded, plus you have control over your own notifications and how to get them. Videos, photos and links are extremely easy to attach and embed and then you can do polls, news, whatever you want. Plus, as you said, IT IS FASTER...
I'll start it, just need to know what people want to call it.
My daughter called me a GEEK last night when I was over there for dinner because I brougth up the camera and blog on her computer and that is when I found out the blog was down and that when she called me a GEEK but she said she still loved me HAHAHa Ok going for good this time

Okay, going to watch some Bobby
Flay BBQ. Gotta quit the food channels -- gaining weight just watching.
BBL
Yet another word for our dictionary. Momstes. Bye
Judie:
Your avatar and what you say is like a Sunrise to me ☼
Give yourself some time to see what you want to do about that thumb, and ask Darth to open and lift things for you ☺
I got the Black and Decker jar opener. It is a help with opening jars. I have some arthritis in my hand, too.
I , too, have the B&D opener-----saved me many times when no one is here!!! One of those "great inventions" in my opinion!!!
Yeah, Lynn. It was you who told me about it, I think. It is so frustrating to be unable to open something.
Paula how do you get such good video I love it
It was so nice of our eagles to visit long enough to assure us they are healthy and at least moderately happy !
Time for this early bird to head for a last check of e-mail and then to beddy bye.

Evening Visit
G'night Kay and JudyE!
Hoda, glad your walk was pleasant. Sorry you have cold coming again. :(
Good evening all.
Kewl, Hoda saw an osprey!
LOL, love the Nutz, Margy
JudyE, I video directly from my computer. I use a program called Snagit.
Prayers and best wishes for Dr. Baker, Lynne.
Shirley, I am so happy to read that your biopsy showed no issues!
Judie, sorry about your hand. UGH...I have concluded that aging is not for sissies. Hope you are able to deal with it for a long time without too much discomfort before having to have surgery.

Good news about Shar and Thelma moving back to Bluefield!
Glad you are getting some rain Lolly, hope you escape any severe weather.

Sissy, so sorry to hear about Tom's back and Mattie's mouth. Hope they are both doing better very soon!
Lynn, love the descriptions of Liesl falling asleep on her back. Would love to pet her pink tummy!
Judie, so sorry to hear about your thumb but think you are smart to see how you get along for a while. You are still "recooping"!
Watching House right now. Had it recorded.
Lynne, thanks for the report on Dr. Baker. Hope the tests reveal something soon!
Back for a goodnight visit.
Lynne, sure hope they can help Dr Baker!
Paula, what happened to the baby robins, are the missing?
Speaking of missing....Linda, where are you? Hope you are feeling better today!
Wegman's in Frederick opens June 5th!
I sure hope that they are able to figure out what's going on too, Paula. What a mess!
In a split second of clumsy this morning, I managed to drop on of my gold hoop earrings down the bathroom drain. Only pair I had, too. UGH.
Did you get out a coat hangeer Lynne?
not that you couldn't do it yourself, Woman Power and all...but it might be worth a try !
We have had maintenance take apart our bathtroom drains at work twice, for wedding rings !!!!
Lynne:
That earring might be in the drain trap, you know, the gooseneck part of the drain...have you asked Steve about it ?
I was remembering Wanda's posts about GG too...and hoping that today went very very good...
the stupid do hicky thingy that's in the drain that you can set to close or open doesn't come OUT. We didn't have time to take the thing apart this morning. And my day was so busy that I had forgotten about it, until just now! DUH! So now, there has been much water flowing through, and I bet it's long gone.
I'm not much of a jewelry person, but I loved those earrings. I've had them for a lot of years. Just small simple hoops.
Lolly you and I think Wanda talked about a raised bed or platform garden ??
I saw once here in town, a place that had tables, about four feet high, for little container gardens, now THAT is right up my alley! That is on my wish list and I think James's father could make one up for me
would be great for herbs and little delicate things for sure
Well, if Steve is not shaving, then there's 3-5 gallons of water (acc to the Budweiser ad)
that is not going down that drain !
LOL Margy....no, Steve is NOT shaving! I meant to show him that commercial!
Lynn, I just saw on FB that Myrtle has returned! YAY!
I shouldn't say NOT shaving, he still has to shave a little, but he's kept the beard much longer this year than in the past. Because he HATES to shave!
Hoda
okay, so shoes and socks it is for a day or so,
sure hope Springtime arrives and stays around for good soon
I hope we find out more about how Bob Q is doing....he might be a little shy about showing up here and getting teased, but sure hope he knows WE CARE !!!
We have Eagle Canes to loan out, certainly
Prayers for Bob's swift recovery
It looks like there is glue holding the PCV (PVC?) on the places where you'd unscrew it. I'm thinking it's too late anyway, but if we try to take it apart and mess something up, it may not go over well with the landlord.
The nest looks really weird tonight!
Got the kitchen cleaned up, waiting on the ice tea to brew, dog had his snack and out...then I am heading to bed!
Well, enjoyed what I read this evening. Sorry I wasn't on, but am home tomorrow. Of course should be doing 4000 things around here!!(But want to play with new pics!! ☺)
Gotta see news, so to all hitting the hay, Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
funny story...Steve was out last evening walking the dogs, and heard a bird that he has never heard before.
Sorry about the earring, Lynne :(
part two....Later, he was getting out of the shower and he heard all this commotion coming from downstairs, sounding like someone was coming through the living room window.
Steve had a bad night.....LOL!
Too funny, Lynne! They do have a pretty song!
Yeah, he gets an A for effort on the birdsong thing....at least he tried!
Never a dull moment at your house, Lynne!
Joker likes to sit in that window and watch the birds at the feeder that hangs there. I guess he wanted to get more up close and personal! And now we have to fix the dang screen.....UGH! Gotta love this furry brats!
Gotta head to bed before I seriously oversleep tomorrow.
gnite..and
(((Hugs for all ♥)))
G'nite Paula!
I'm heading up too. Another long day at work tomorrow! Good night and prayers for all!
That IS funny about the birdsong, Lynne...what an enthusiast Steve is for the diligent search
and the other story is scary-funny too ☺
Paula, great videos. Neat the way Belle opens up her wings one at a time, never noticed it so much as this year....
Better shag along myself too...
Good Night Paula, Lynne, Loretta, and those gone behind and ahead of this post
Have you on my mind and in my heart, Eagle Pals
Prayers for wellness...
and a Sweet Restorative Sleep
God Bless This Nest, and
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo ♥
Split coming up and Good Night to you all...
Good night all!
Da Bears!
Bob, good to know you had a clean bill of health...don't push yourself too hard and God keep you safe and sound.
My mistake, no split on the three hundred mark...
Yea, Bob! Thanks for checking in. We have been worried. Glad there are no broken bones, but a concussion is nothing to sneeze at!Take care!
Paula---do you think your robins fledged?? :) Or do you think something happened to them? :(
We had a delightful evening with Alexis and her dad (gs) We did go to cracker barrel and Alexis and her pap played checkers. I also saw that they are displaying their
sturdy Eagle canes again.
Rest well.
Cute Lily, Hope, and Faith video.
Bear video
Jo, you sure are keeping yourself busy....missing you here a lot!!!
What did you get to eat at Cracker Barrell? Love their food!!
Loretta, will check for your new pics tomorrow. Just now saw yesterdays!
Time for me to call it a day. Prayers for all......and know how much I love all your gals and guys!!
Oh, Lynn, no more hose for me! I retired and along with it I retired my hose. LOL
No, socks and sandals just do NOT mix. ☺
It is time to hit the pillows - lunch tomorrow with past work friends. Always good to see them.
Good night friends - prayers for all our wants/needs. Hugs for all.
♥♥♥♥♥♥
Time for me to be heading to bed as well. Did not do much today, not tired, but getting sleepy.
Lynne, so sorry about your earring. I close the drain every time I am changing earrings. Have a fear of loosing something down the drain.
Sweet dreams all. Praise and thanks for Shirley's good report. Now prayers for Judie's hand and
Dr. Baker.
Nite all! (((Hugs)))
Hellooooooooooo, Early Birds!!
By the way, I thought you were just having coffee. What is this about confections?????
MARGY...we talked about a RAISED garden, but decided the tub garden would work best for us this year. Photo of the TUBBIES on blog: Wanda's Wishes. We bought plants yesterday to put in the tubs. Gene has planted GG
's garden with spinach, squash, cucumbers and need to buy some beans .
GG did well, going to get her hair done. She used her cane and that helped quite a bit. Thinking of getting her one of those thingys that you push with two handles and 4 wheels.
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING FOR GOOD RESULTS FOR SHIRLEY
Stopping by for a moment. Came downstairs for a pb&j and a cup of chamomile. Maybe I slept too long this afternoon.
See you later . . .
Had to try about 20 times
Wow
I finally made it through the error messages
Good Morning Eagle Pals !
Sure was good to hear from Bob Quinn late last night...wow, what a double tumble....
He might benefit from a couple of Poop Shoot Facials and some Fishycures....
Glad to read that GG had a good day also, Wanda
so what do you think of my idea of a table top garden?
Megan
I had such fun with my plants last evening, and added some fish emulsion to my watering can !
Best wishes for a good day, everyone...wherever you are and whenever you make it on here !!
xoxo ♥ ☺
Geez, I've been trying to get on since 1:20 this morning.
I'm so excited to be here I can't stand it!!!
Good Morning everyone!
TRUDER WAS IN THE NEST AT 5:22. I didn't see him leave but he was IN THE NEST FOR QUITE A WHILE UNTIL AT LEAST 5:38.
Okay Lori:
I am NOT ALONE anymore !
Good Morning !!! ☺
I am reminded of the song from Magoo's Christmas Carol:
I'm all alone in the World
:(
Those crazy error messages started around 1:30 am or so, I was up...
Good morning one and all Coffee Time
Well, it is time for me to get ready for work, already :(
Hope to see everyone getting back on here if I can check from work
Hope this is a good, safe, healthy day for everyone
ttfn xoxox ♥
Good Morning JudyE!
Enjoy your "week-end"
☺
SHIRLEY! HALLALEUJAH! I'm so very happy for you and your family.
If the Early Birds check in a belated Good Morning to KAY, DANA, JUDY E, MEGAN, MARGY and all.
I missed you guys.
I have another day off tomorrow in case I sleep in and miss tomorrow too.
PAULA & MARGY - love your new avatars!
Good Morning!
Lynne - TWO bluebird nests? Didn't we have a discussion about you and Linda being bird hogs? :)
Think I will quickly go grab a link or 2 :-)
Dexter's Birthday
Can't see how to share video. sorry non facebookers its pretty cute of him listening to Happy Birthday Candle and then devouring his Cube steak cake.
OK LORI....I've NEVER know anyone to have a VULTURE nest!!!!!
Did you read back from last night...I posted about the Left Behind Series. LOVE LOVE LOVED it!
Good morning my eagle momsters and dadsters from the not too, past, southern delegation.
Hi Thelma! Hope you are OK, saw a post from you regarding your need to take a short term disability.
Hi Glo! Prayer list is a great idea, but I was wondering if you might post in italics, or blue?
Good Morning THELMA and cute dog! What's his name TBird?
LYNNE - I'll only have a vulture nest IF the fox didn't eat the eggs. But I won't disturb the parents to look for a few days.
I probably flash back to the "Left Behind" series daily. I miss it.
In momster mail this morning. From Kay...

Subject: [eaglet_momsters] blog problem ??
Anyone else having a problem getting on the blog this morning ? I got the cam up, but can't get to postings.
Error Message: bX-d7hq04
When I go to Help it says there is a maintenance problem being worked on.
Meantime much activity on nest by both birds when I got the cam at 5:45. A lot of boomeranging by Truder. Now both away at 6:06.
Great idea on the Prayer List, Lynne. Sorry everyone that I didn't get it done/updated this morning. I was overwhelmed just trying to get on the blog which was offline from 1 until almost 7 this morning.
ah, I guess that was the same problem Kay was having....
Gotta git....work you know.
Have a good day everyone!
yeah its working it wouldn't recognize me no matter what I did
wow has this blog blocked me out this morning testing
Prayer List was not my idea BUT Lori's. I do love the idea however.
We'll see if it catches on. MTBR as Lori said Copy paste and add as necessary. I am sure it could be done in Blue. I bolded yesterdays praises as they came to make them stand out of regular type some.
Guess Kay can't get on with hers. I really can't go back and find them all right now. So well prayers for all the needs I have seen as well as those He knows the details of that I don't.
Its Bath and trim time here today. Hoping to get both done. Oh the trim that would be outside :-)
Lori, it's Buddy.
THANK YOU, MR. BLOGGER COP! He finally recognized me and let me in the door;) Had to go round Robinhood's Barn to get here, but it worked...GEESH!
Yes, that is BUDDY sitting in the Capt's seat in the Eagle Express:)
He visited the Sycamore Palace once with all of us.
Wanda, I say go snag the milkweed!
Lynn, the baby robins were only a week old...they didn't fledge. Something must have got them over the weekend when I wasn't home.
Well, let's see if this posts.
Aha---posted fine. No blogger cop or log-in!
Lori, I did not know that vultures nested on the ground. Interesting.
Killdeer do...but didn't know about the tv's.
LOL
Oh, Lynn, can not imagine coming face to face with a Piliated! LOL My brother is always having problems with woodpeckers on his house. Not good!
Sorry, Liesl had a little problem this morning.
I had not problem getting on or posting. Did not have to "check in". I think that happens randomly.
I have this on Facebook but the blogger cop wouldn't let me post it this am Seems we all had the same issues this is sooooo cute I love the babies laugh
BUBBLES AND A BABY
I have seen that Judy. Just love it. I think we all just love it when a baby gives a real belly laugh.
being summoned by her majesty the queen HA OMA UP time to go play
I picked up Jordyn as I always do and we went to the park We went on the swings once and down the slide and she was pushing her baby in the stroller and she turns and looks and me and says "go home OMa" was only there maybe 30min and she wanted to go home I was so shocked that she didn't want to play so we are home and she is now watching the Wiggles
We usually are there a good 2 to 3 hrs and she wanted to go home I think I was more disappointed than her Angie said she thinks she may be comin down with something I know I got that odd feeling in the back of the nasal cavity area like a cold is comin on I hate working with the public always seem to pick up something even though I hand sanitize 100 times a day
I Had a very nice Good morning on here but Blogger got me ..
I am off to lunch with past co-workers and then will meet up with the Bragg Bunch minus Sgt Patrick - Army wouldn't give him leave this weekend. It is graduation for UMD for Christine so
she's a real trooper and drove her and the girls up to town. Meeting
up with them after lunch.....
BBL
Ah, sounds like a great day, Jo. Glad you get to see the Bragg Bunch!
I love to watch people work!!
My seniors are taking a Macbeth test.
It is very quiet. I hear some papers rattling, pages being turned.
New Thread with a note from Steve
I am headed up to NW Maine for the annual canoe trip. Updates will be automated for the next week or so.

Hello Eagle Pals
xoxo
How about something more generic like "Eagle Lovers" or something because we talk about so many eagle communities...
Life-time FF with Hedgesville Volunteer Fire Department
died at the of 42 from cancer,
long funeral procesional from Martinsburg WV to the other side of Hedgesville, WV
police escort, including Sheriffs Department, Deputy Reserves, and City Police here in town
firetrucks and motorccyles also in the processional
From work here, we just sent out the fire tones at 1300 -
"Last Call"
He has gone, home......
xoxo ♥
The blog is home though and everyone knows, I love home!
Sounds good to me but I'm just a newbee
Everyone else out there what do you think I know most are away from the computer as I should be doing something else I just a addict I guess
Eagle Cam Addicts is already taken that would have been a good name also
@Judy Yea but if you are using the Facebook wall then it would be so much easier to see who replied to you as the posts are in a sense threaded, plus you have control over your own notifications and how to get them. Videos, photos and links are extremely easy to attach and embed and then you can do polls, news, whatever you want. Plus, as you said, IT IS FASTER...
I'll start it, just need to know what people want to call it.
How about we call it "I vote for Adam"....LOL..just kidding
I agree the blog is HOME but a fan page would be nice also and in cases like this that happened we would have another alternative
Howdy!!
Howdy friend.
Hi Paula
AH, HA! the blog is finally usable again.

GOOD FRIDAY MORN

C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
I would suggest Shepherdstown Eagle Cam Fans for a FB page
My daughter called me a GEEK last night when I was over there for dinner because I brougth up the camera and blog on her computer and that is when I found out the blog was down and that when she called me a GEEK but she said she still loved me HAHAHa Ok going for good this time
We do have the Momster chat, but it doesn't save anything...strictly a chat place
You know, two days in a row when I signed on, I've gotten error messages, but when I backspace to the blog, my comment has been posted..
Is that happening to anyone else??
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
I tried the chat and it told me unavailable at this time WHY I wonder
I see that we are back in business, but it is Wednesday again.
@Judy Cause Facebook shut it down...LOL
