It is early but again, I am tired and need to outrun the sandperson to get to the bed.

The night light is set to turn on automatically at 11:00pm. Andy will set our security system when she comes in later.

Restful sleep for all.

Lolly said...

Oh, Paula, finally caught up reading the blog. I am so sorry about Nugz. I remember a few days ago you mentioned taking him to the vet. I wondered at the time. You certainly have our love, our faith, our prayers. ((Hugs))

paula eagleholic said...

Off to the right

Lolly said...

Truder Poofed!

paula eagleholic said...

Thank you all for your prayers! It's been a long week, and I have been trying to decide what to do. The Vet couldn't believe it....

Reflection of the clouds on the water at the Loon Cam, is very soothing to behold

Newborn Infant Moon is out there smiling for us, folks....

magpie said...

ISS was a good flyoever, but more darkness would have made it very spectacular

Paula...Nugz and Boo...brothers?
I am sorry I do not remember if so

paula eagleholic said...

Thanks Margy, gonna check out the loons.

paula eagleholic said...

Yes, They were brothers.

magpie said...

thanks back, Paula...
darkness approaching fast there now, so the reflection is not as brilliant as five minutes ago

Hoda said...

Paula It will be difficult for you from now till Monday, but it does not have to be Boo's story. Keep your thinking clear and stay with all the prayers the faith and the hope...(((((((HUGS ))))))) to you and Nugz.

hedgie said...

Paula, prayers most definitely for Nugz and you.....I go with the 20% sounding positive!
How old is Nugz?

DanaWV---Ocracoke is where I go. It is off the southern coast of Cape Hatteras---40 mins. by ferry, or 2 hrs. off the mainland at to the SE. If I get a beach house, it will be in the Hatteras area...and then i can hop over to Ocracoke whenever I want. Too expensive for my pocketbook to buyy there, for sure! And insurance would be AWFUL---if available at all. Island has been under threat of disappearing in a hurricane for at least 40 years.

hedgie said...

I don't think that Christine is too near the coast, maybe in around Charlotte someplace.

paula eagleholic said...

You're right, Lynn...she is further inland.

I am hoping for the 20% too! Nugz is 9 1/2. He was always the "healthy" one.

hedgie said...

Oh-oh....Lauren is showing that she is only 16 on Idol....already crying because she's in the bottom two.

paula eagleholic said...

Sunlight on the loon cam is pretty...and the water is too.

paula eagleholic said...

Are they 1 or 2 hours behind us? I can't remember.

paula eagleholic said...

Oh, saw a baby robin's head poking out of the nest last night...beak open, looking for food :)

hedgie said...

Paula, Nugz is older than I thought he was.....it is very strange that both boys would be diagnosed with the same thing.....were they rescues or do you have contact with the breeder? If so, you should probably let her/him know. DOubt they would still be breeding with the same parents, but breeding offspring could make it significant. Just a thought.

hedgie said...

MN is one hour behind us...CDT.

magpie said...

egg is uncovered, loon calling

How about this:
Belle and Hidey, April 7, 2009
entitled: Feeding, or a Kiss ♥

magpie said...

so that's my Mother's Day avatar ♥

hedgie said...

Cute, Margy! But would still like to see a pic of your sweet Mama!!

paula eagleholic said...

Awww, great choice Margy.

Lynn, I have lost contact with the breeder....I have let people know who have the siblings.

paula eagleholic said...

Shoot, missed the loon calling. Was down in the basement.

Oh, there it is!

magpie said...

Have a few, might see if I can get one scanned...
Yours is dear, Lynn
I think I shall go see what I missed out on earlier..
Oh, those Loon Calls !

paula eagleholic said...

I am doing laundry...and will try and catch up on an episode or two online of a show I've missed.

magpie said...

OMG A Boat !! :(

paula eagleholic said...

Cool, boat in the distance.

paula eagleholic said...

CDT. got it, thanks Lynn

paula eagleholic said...

Duh, now it shows that next to the timers!

magpie said...

This is what Lynne2 posted last night when the Dad Loon was out calling after the egg was laid:

"it's dad calling out "my egg is here, my egg is here"

so cute ! And Lolly was thinking the same thing !

paula eagleholic said...

I heard one shake and is that one coming now.

magpie said...

one of them should be lumbering up to the nest soon

I mean one of the Loons, not Lolly or Lynne ! ☺

stronghunter said...

Bless you and Nugz, Paula. I am hoping for the best. I am so sorry that you are having to go through this again.

Christine lives in Huntersville, a suburb of Charlotte. Definitely not on the coast.

I have had a day. I got home and was ready to sit down and have a quiet supper when I realized I had left my purse in Culpeper. Thank goodness, I was sure I had left it there and that it was in a secure place. Got in my car and went back and got it. Had to bang on the schoolhouse door for awhile before a custodian came and let me in.

But, since I will not be going back until Monday, and all of my insurance cards, etc., are there, not to mention many other necessary things, I had no choice.

magpie said...

Whoo, glad it was where you knew it was and you could get it Shirley...
no fun to use up precious gas $$ though :(

magpie said...

three little blobs in the water...sometimes one stands up and opens its wings, figure at least two of them are loons

Lynne2 said...

I'm here, just lumbering up to the nest.....LOL!

Good evening everyone!

Paula, I just don't know what to say about Nugz. So not fair, but you know my prayers are going for the 20%!!

I wasn't going to put a picture of my mother on my avatar. But I think I will try to find one from "better" times to post. I'll have to take a picture of a picture since I don't have a scanner!

Lolly said...

Watched AI, now watching Greys and then PP.

Also, I am sitting here by the nest after lumbering up!

hedgie said...

Bear Report

Lynne2 said...

Lumbering is what I do best these days! OH, and I have been VERY good at not eating JUNK today!

stronghunter said...

Okay, more about Johnny. On the day of the drug bust, Johnny was full of legal advice. He sounded very convincing.

Johnny confided to me that he'd learned his facts about the law from his father.

It seems that his dad was accused of being drunk in public, but that Dad was able to get out of the charges because he was actually on private property when he was drunk.

Wonder what else Dad has taught the kid?

Linda said...

Evening pals.....

Finally finished posting birds, critters, flowers, etc to my FB page. Started earlier today, got pulled away, but finishied this evening. The whole blog thing will probably have to wait.

In the meantime:

This is the link to the Birds & Critters that has ROSE-BREASTED GROSEBEAKS, Lynne FB Our Backyard Birds & Critters

This is the link to flowers and such in our yard: Our Back Yard Flowers and other Things

I think this is a public link

Lynne2 said...

My bird guru guy, Keith of the Baltimore Bird Club ( I swear he has a true gift and locating birds...I've been on 2 walks with him and his group and he just KILLS me with his skills at finding birds!) emailed me today and told me that he has found the Blue Grosbeaks nesting across the street from me! There is a huge old field over there (where the old house is that I took pics of) and I can't believe they have been there all along, and just picked THIS spring to come to my yard!

Linda said...

Paula - I am so sorry to hear about Nugz and what you're going through right now. Please know I am praying for you and Nugz and hope that Nugz is in that 20 percentile.

Lots of (((HUGS))) Paula

Lynne2 said...

Linda, if you read way back.....we are being accused of "HOGGING" birds! LOL!!! Your photos are AWESOME! Just an FYI...the bird you have labeled as a Red Headed Wookpecker is really a Red BELLIED woodpecker! There ARE Redheaded Woodpeckers, but they look different. The Red Bellies do have a rust spot on there very low abdomen that isn't noticeable unless you happen to see them from underneath hanging from a feeder.

Lynne2 said...

I hope I get a Rosebreasted Grosbeak this year too! Am I being greedy?

magpie said...

the pictures, both sets, are spectacular Linda !!!
For someone not on facebook, this is a real treat that you have shared them this way !
I think the rose-breasted grosbeak is so stunning....I hope to see one again out in the wild someday

Linda said...

Thanks, Lynne - I'll change it right away, so people don't think I'm STUPID!!

Lynne2 said...

oh, and your Pileated pictures are really great!!!

magpie said...

Parent Loon just lumbered up to the nest and is roosting, night light is on
That was neat to watch !

paula eagleholic said...

The loon really does plop on the egg! Incubates it almost under the tail.

Watching a show...bbl

magpie said...

But I like your and Lynne's lumbering up too, Lolly !

I love the Mother's Day avatars, let me say that again !

Lori commented earlier in the day, that we should really try to push the RED ON FRIDAY FOR THE MILITARY.... (especially after the events of the last week) -
so, go through those closets, see if you can find a little something or other....
A show of appreciation for all the efforts of our fine Military Folks

Lynne2 said...

Loons don't have much grace out of the water!

I agree Margy, RED FRIDAY!!!!

magpie said...

The other red-headeds...have had a time with keeping their nesting spots...largely in part to OTHER woodpeckers moving in on their territory, and the loss of habitat...but yours is beautiful nonetheless, Linda !
That is one of the most spectacular pictures of a Red-Bellied I have ever seen! BRAVO !

Lynne2 said...

oh, I just read that the RHWs are a near threatened species....

Lynne2 said...

I need to lumber into the shower and get ready for bed....

hedgie said...

Did you know that this week is National Teacher Appreciation Week???
Thanks to all, but especially our Momster teachers!!!!

so, want to close out with

Congratulations to Judie on a good report from the doctor today

and One more round of Happy Birthday Wishes for Bob Q ☺

and thanks to all for your precious gifts of friendship and fellowship

Linda said...

Thanks, Margy! It is my way of cutting out having to upload pics to FB and the blog.

I will get to the blog soon to add pictures!

We have so many rose-breasted grossbeaks. And they love to hang out at our feeders. We love it!

Linda said...

Night Margy!

Linda said...

Well my visit was short tonight!! Fighting another headache......that I hope doesn't turn into a migraine. It's been a rough couple months for those...

Keeping Shirley and Paula in my prayers and well as all my eagle freinds here.

I so appreciate the warmth and friendship of each and every one of you.

Praying God keeps us all in his care and that you all are richly blessed!

Oh.....and.....

Lori - Would be happy to send some of our birds your way. We're not stingy!! We really have been blessed with lots of birds here.

Lolly, KayIM and all of you who commented on my pics, THANKS!!

They are all taken in our yard, which is so awesome!

Thanks, Shirley.....you're in my special prayers!

Home from camera club. Prayers for both Paula and Nugz

Lynne2 said...

I'm not sending LORI any birds until she 'fesses up about the Turkey Vulture nest........

Heading to bed, hope you head doesn't go all cattywampus on you Linda!

Good night and prayers for all....especially Shirley, and Paula and Nugz.

Lynne2 said...

oh and Shirley, I think "Johnny" would make a fine character in that book of short stories from a teacher that you can work on once you retire!

stronghunter said...

"Johnny" is a big, loveable character. He is always the first one out the door at lunchtime and often the last one in class.

He actually does very well when we have discussions. As I said before, he is very convincing. Unfortunately, he cannot read well. But if he can fix cars, he may do just fine.

stronghunter said...

. . . last one into class.

hedgie said...

Shirley, a Johnnie-come-lately, huh??
What time are you scheduled for tomorrow?? Asked once, but don't think you saw it---needle biopsy or incision? Will be praying for and thinking of you.....(((HUGS)))
Please tell Kat to post something to us as soon as possible, okay? Love you, gal!

Goodnight Margy and Linda and Lynne. Hope everyone sleeps well and that your h/a stays a regular one, Linda, and not a migraine.

Early morning outing for me....retiree breakfast. Will have to leave Liesl alone for the first time. Hoping that goes well!!!

stronghunter said...

My mother in 1944.

stronghunter said...

One o'clock tomorrow, Lynn. Needle biopsy. Kathryn will go with me. She is going to work for awhile and then come back.

stronghunter said...

I have some pictures of my mother from her college days in the 1920s, but I can't get to them right now without disturbing Flash in his crate.

Wow, something large just flew by the loon cam light. I guess some kind of moth. Strange image.

stronghunter said...

Now, I will tell you about "Charlie." He needed to take a make-up quiz. Bugged the daylights out of me until I finally let him take it today--open book quiz. He answered about 6 questions and then gave up and asked to be allowed to wait until later. I said okay.

Then I noticed Charlie hanging around my desk. He was very interested in something, and I told him to leave the things there alone. I noticed he was writing something, then he sat down and said he had changed his mind and wanted to finish the quiz.

Hmmm . . .

I went over and sat down at my desk to see if I could find what in the heck Charlie was so interested in, and that is when I spotted the answer key to the quiz.

I did Charlie a big favor. I told him that he would be taking a different version of the quiz. Really should have told him that he had just lost his chance.

hedgie said...

Love the pic of your Mom, Shirley. Yep---you resemble her!
Okay, 1PM---on my knees!

Goodnight, dear friends. Prayers for all...and especially for Shirley, Nugz and Paula tonight.

NatureNut said...

It's almost midnight! Got one "Spring" set of pics on Blog. Will put others on too.
Pics I put in E_M album had the wrong date, so I replaced them. Sorry, Jo--they are out of time order now :-(

NatureNut said...

Will be thinking about you tomorrow, Shirley. Had one of those---you get a "feel nothing" shot first!

GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
PRAYERS FOR ALL

NatureNut said...

Dear Paula, just read back far enough to hear of dog illness. So sorry, lots of prayers & hope Nugz will be OK! ☺ ♥

stronghunter said...

Loons are calling.

stronghunter said...

Some kind of critter is near the nest. Looks like papa loon is nearby, too.

stronghunter said...

I think it was a rat or something. I hope mama has chased it away for good.

Mema Jo said...

TV was ok - I enjoyed 2 shows

I had sent Bob Quinn a ecard and
hope he had a great day. I hope he is out celebrating and that we will
hear from him in the near future.

I have prayers for Nugz & Paula
and for Shirley to have good results from her test... ♥ ♥

stronghunter said...

Didn't get a "feel nothing" shot last time, Loretta. Not fun.

stronghunter said...

The critter crawled right up in the nest and mama loon looked at it and made a call and it ran off.

stronghunter said...

Rat thing is back!!

Mema Jo said...

QUESTION: Lacey and Lilly
They are in the stall - do you
see SNOW inside the stall and like
on Lacey's back????????

stronghunter said...

I can't find my link to that site, Jo.

stronghunter said...

I would think that sharp loon beak could do damage to a rat. But I'll also bet a rat would like to eat a loon egg.

Mema Jo said...

Lacey and Lilly

Lolly said...

Fell asleep, Loons woke me up. Heading to the shower and bed. Going to head out early tomorrow to mow. In the afternoon I have a eye appointment for yearly check up. Get new glasses this year. Yea!

Yuk! Just saw the rat or whatever it was on the Loon nest. This is surely not good!

Prayers for Shirley and Paula's Nugz.

Nite all, sweet dreams!

Mema Jo said...

I hope tomorrow that on Larry's Blog he'll explain what was going on. How can a rat get out to the
Loon platform - can they swim?

stronghunter said...

Thanks for the link, Jo. I see what you mean. The Twitter message or whatever it was mentioned driving rain.

I don't know where that farm is.

stronghunter said...

Tried to research whether or not rats swim. Confusing messages. Would have to do more research, but I'll bet they can find a way to get to something they are interested in. I know they are smart.

Mema Jo said...

Horses are up in NH I guess the rain turned to snow but what a shame it can get into the stable area.

Well Shirley it sure looked like a
rat! And his target will be the
egg.

Mema Jo said...

I am going to call it a good day
I had family here for dinner & enjoyed their company.
I'll thinking of you Shirley tomorrow at 1pm! ((hugs))

GOOD NIGHT AND PRAYERS FOR ALL
HUGS FOR ALL ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

stronghunter said...

I agree, Jo. The rat would be after the egg, and rats can be mean, tough characters. I think that is why papa loon was nearby.

I do wonder how so much snow got into the stall, and especially on the horse.

stronghunter said...

Good night, Jo.

stronghunter said...

I think that the most recent calling of the loons was mama calling papa to come help with the rat problem. And then I saw her make a call at the rat.

We can hope that the two of them can take care of a rat, but I don't know.

stronghunter said...

There is mention of the rat and the mama loon chasing it away on the loon cam's Facebook page.

stronghunter said...

It is late, and I promised to take Hunter to school tomorrow. I am going to head upstairs.

stronghunter said...

I really appreciate all of the kind words and prayers.

stronghunter said...

Just noticed that someone on FB mentioned that animal at the loon nest might be a muskrat. That could be, and they do swim.

Ms Bookworm said...

Dropping in to say goodnight.

Paula, you and Nugz are DEFINITELY in my prayers! Can't believe you're having to go through this again! Hoping and praying that Nugz is in the 20 percentile group!

Shirley, will be praying and thinking of you tomorrow! Hope the biopsy goes well, and you have a good result!

Haven't had time to read all of the blog. Hoping that GG is feeling better! Prayers for her!

I'm really brain weary tonight. Have been typing up English notes for my friend who didn't make it to class last night.

Bet that Judie has set the night light. I'm checking to be sure the porch light is lit. Enabling both security systems. Prayers for all, and for every creature. Sleep well, and I will talk to you in the morning. God bless, and goodnight!
Love all of you! :o]

GREAT MOM Avatars everyone! What a great idea! Judie reincarnated you are too much. :)

Welcome to Friday (wooooo-whoooo) at the Sunrise Sycamore Cyber Cafe where we pretend we're all drinking coffee & tea together at the kitchen table while waiting for our Eagle friends to arrive at the Sycamore Palace. Imagination is a wonderful thing. :)

DanaMo said...

Truder arrived while I was checking email. Lets turn on the color...

DanaMo said...

Yes, I love imagination. I am 25 again, and down to my 25 year old weight! Imagination is grand.

I'm heading to the nest in the morning. I hope that don't arrive this early tomorrow. I was hoping that I would be leaving my house around 6 to catch them flying around...

stronghunter said...

Oh, excuse me. Good morning. Hello, Lynne.

Lynne2 said...

Hi Shirley....Isn't "Charlie" precious? LOL!

Well, here is a picture of mother and my dad on their wedding day, Apil 8, 1961. As you can see, I got my mother's chubby cheeks, and my dad's everything else, including the black eyelashes and the S**T eatin' grin (so I've been told).

For those who don't know, my mother and I are estranged. But, I try to look at it like this....if everything hadn't happened in my life exactly the way it did, I wouldn't be the person I am now. And while far from perfect, I didn't turn out too bad, nor would I be here at all if not for her!

Lori O. said...

Well, LYNNE, I for one am very happy that you are exactly the Lynne you are . . . the Lynne we all know and love! ♥

Lynne2 said...

well thanks Lori! Now, about that vulture nest.........

I have to check my abandoned stable (term used very loosely as I would not put a horse in it). Turkey Vulture flew out of it last weekend when the chain saw ripped into action near there. I've never seen one in there, ever, but I haven't wanted to check it out for fear there may be eggs - and she won't come back. It's a perfect TV nesting habitat.

Cleaned up the plates at WCV with only one eaglet hissing. Other two were sleeping. Nice to know they're eating well.

Good morning to everyone.

Should have prepared a cheat sheet.

Shirley, I will be thinking of you and keeping you safe in my heart. Several of us know first hand the experience so you may feel as if your hand is being held by us.

Also see a resemblance to you mom, Shirley. Am also glad you were able to retrieve your purse -- you don't need that stress right now.

Wanda, so glad you and the Capt. will have family night tonight. Please give GG an extra hug, please.

I also think Margy should find a place at the Swingingless Bridge -- someplace where the bowlers can't find her. Have red on this morning.

Margy, have a good, quiet day at work.

Megan, sure hope the flowers are recovered from all the rain.

I see we have new words for our dictionary -- salture and home along -- perhaps when one is home along one may enjoy some salture crackers with a G&T.

Linda, hope you didn't end up with a migraine. Will check out your pictures in a few.

Jo, haven't seen, maybe missed, updates on your Alexis time. Glad family dinner was nice.

Need coffee. BBL

Oh wow...that would be a perfect nesting spot! Maybe she was just checking it out and hadn't laid any eggs yet.

Hi again,

Back from taking Hunter to school. I did not sleep much last night, so I may doze off this morning.

I checked the sub caller thingy and see that they got me a different sub from last time. Last time, I could not find any notes, not even the copy of my lesson plan.

I always look for the sub's comments. Can't imagine what happened before.

It does feel like someone is here with me this morning--lots of someones, really. It is a good feeling.

Good morning everyone. Off to the DRs in spirit with Shirley. Prayers for Paula and Nugz. Mothers Day weekend wishes for all, those who have Mom avatars and those who don't. I'll join the feathered friends who choose to focus on that beautiful bird MaMa in our sycamore tree. I have a few female nurturers in my childhood thank the good Lord but no pictures to share.

Sunny today so much of it will be back out doors for me.

Thanks so much, WCV supporters. We were contacted via email last night from the Chase Community Giving program. They didn't provide specifics about when we'd receive the $25K, but it looks like you guys did it! Thanks to everyone who voted, and special thanks to some of our big "cheerleaders" out there who worked to get out the vote.

Good morning!!☺ How is everyone this beautiful day? Shirley, thinking of you. I am glad you feel our presence with you today ((Hugs)))

I am about to head out to mow. Want to get started early. Eye doc appointment early afternoon. Oh, how I hate having my eyes dilated.

I am sooo disappointed this morning. Do not know what to believe on this blog...have been led astray!

Just when I am about to get up early for coffee with the SSCC, I find out it is all imaginary!! What's a person to believe on this blog?

Man, my typing is dreadful today, but think you can decipher my message above.

Good 'Red Friday' Morning All!
Last night I went to bed with Lacey and Lilly's snow stall and with 'muskRAT' on the Loon platform that I am waking and
quickly checking out those cams to see All is Well! Thanks to the
SSCC commentary this morning! ♥

Yesterday I lost one page of past
emails that I wanted to keep <:(
Stoopid hotmail and I blame it on my mouse's cursor It won't move as fast as I want it to move!

I'll return later & Shirley
You got it right - We are there with you!

Hi Susan! glad you stopped in...how is your Mother in Law doing?

OK I have another NEW bird at the feeder. Skittish, can't get a picture....going to have to look some things up, MTBR.

I have about 10 things to do on my list today and I am developing a really bad pain in my back, right in the middle and to the left. SO FREAKIN ANNOYING! I took Aleve early, it got worse, I took a Tramadol about an hour ago and it's not helping. UGH.

Shirley, what time is your appointment today? ((((HUGS))).

Mema Jo said...

Hello WVsUSAan! I am so happy that you are 'thrilledalso' That is the best feeling! Once again I will tell you and all the others that I am enjoying your Mom pics.
I really miss my mom and grandma too.

Lynne2 said...

Hi Jo! No need to worry about the horse having snow on it...they are pretty well insulated! And I have never met a horse yet that that wouldn't rather be outside in ANY weather than be cooped up in a stall!
I just love watching that baby frolic around!

Lynne2 said...

oh how I miss my grandparents too....what I wouldn't give to still have them! My mom's parents, that it...only met my paternal grandparents just after I was born. They died within 6 months of each other before I was even a year old.

Lynne2, I just read the blog from 8pm where I left off to current. In case Shirley isn't on right now, her biopsy is at 1pm.

Shirley, so many prayers are with you, hope that knowledge has a calming effect !

Today is Military Spouse Appreciation Day! SO a big momster SALTURE to all the military spouses we have in our extended families!

Thanks Kay! And good morning!

Apologies to my beloved Early Bird buds at SSCC. I just couldn't manage the early up this morning. Don't know why. Would wake up, think "I should get up" and then settle back down. I actually hate that kind of morning because when I eventually do surface I'm in a fog for too long. Realizing I was up too late I turned on the Today Show for news and watched them celebrate Mother's Day.

LOL, Margy, putting out the call for all Kay's ? Which reminds me, where is Grannie Kay these days ?

Am loving all the Mother avatars !

Paula, I'm so sorry to hear about Nugz and the ordeal you're both going through. My prayers are with you both.

Must get some things done. I expect the kids to drop Malcolm off at 3 this afternoon. There won't be any sleeping in tomorrow or Sunday with him in the house ! This will be his first time away from them at night, but I think he's comfortable enough here to make it an okay thing.

Mema Jo said...

Thanks Lynne for the horse and snow
information. I just felt so cold for them. I don't know the layout
of the stable but I didn't expect to see snow covering everything.

Lynne2 said...

OK, the new bird is a White Crowned Sparrow! It must be migrating because according to the map he is a winter visitor to these parts and south of here. Not uncommon, but I've never seen one! Very impressive head!

Well, I have just had a good laugh! Laurel has posted my picture as her profile on fb. Her friends are making comments. One boy in ther class said he always had a crush on me. That is just a hoot! Apparently he wrote in her yearbook.."to the girl with the foxy mom!" Well, girls, I want you to know someone thought of me as foxy. Of course, it was an elementary age kid.

Okay, I am off to set the world on fire....well, really ready to go mow.

Have a great day! Thinking of Shirley and praying while I mow.☺

I am multi-tasking...doing my hair and cooking ribs for this evening. I do my ribs in oven bags and then Gene finishes them off on the grill with SWEET BABY RAY SPICY BBQ SAUCE. So good, sooo fattening! Only have them once in a while:)
Loretta, you know how much I love foxes...I will look at yours tonight while I'm relaxed and able to enjoy them. Thanks for posting them...love anything you post♥

Prayers for Susan's mom-in-law. I sympathize with anyone having che-MOTHER-apy. Went through it twice with GG...not a speck of it left anywhere in her body. 20 years for first cancer...10 years for the last one! She was such a trooper. Never complained or whined...she did throw up a lot. Told me not to worry, she said she looked worse than she felt:) I doubt that!

Costume Lady said...

Morning, Jim...your a little late for morning here on the East coast. Beautiful day here, 65° right now.

Good afternoon, one and all.

Love all the new Mom avatars. Lynne, glad you did it! Your perspective is very insightful. I see you in both of your folks.

Wanda---hope everything is okay with you....oh, and don;t worry about the ribs! They aren't nearly ad fattening as a lot of other things are!!!

Shirley, I am SO glad that you feel our love around you. Prayers going up big time.

sUSAn, sorry that Pam is suffering with the side effects of the chemo....I was so lucky. Nausea--a little. Fatigue---a LOT. But that was about it (except for hair loss!!!) Hope she feels better soon. Like I mentioned before, tell her to SLEEP as much as she wants to!
