Margy, do you have a telescope or do you see those planets with the naked eye ? Columbus is so often overcast and I'm so surrounded by big trees, I don't think I could spot them here.
Two ducks in the pool this morning. Took the dogs and I by surprise. We were out in the yard and it was still dark. They didn't fly away until we were closer to the pool. Really thought that they wouldn't stop with the solar cover on. Guess that didn't work! Poosha!

Lynn, I saw that little devil...I have trouble IDing warblers. May have been a Blue Winged, or a Prairie. It looked to have darker wings with wing bars and a colored underside instead of white. Hope I see it again!
Lynne---closest thing I found the other day when I was first trying to ID the bird is a Kirkland's Warbler....I think this one this morning was the same bird.

Oh Lynne - this was the first year I didn't watch the race and I've avoided reading about it. How bad is the break?
The story is outdated inasmuch as it says the eagle hit by a car is recovering, and no mention of the deceased bird fround on campus.
