Wanda, if there is a spouse, the home cannot be used at all....nor can "income" of the spouse.....the 5 yr. rule also applies to things like monetary exchanges, too----for example CD's, stocks, bonds, etc. What a crock.
All of t his garbage is one of the reasons that I am willing to cash in my 401K and put it into a beach house in co-ownership with unrelated people......I don't think they could touch it that way from what I've been told.

Didn't get back here last night. Fell asleep in front of the TV with Emma. She's doing extremely well, by the way! Her incision looks like it's all healed up. The scar is still pink, but I'm sure it will fade in time. She's good to GO!!!
I have SO much homework to do today!!!
Trouble is, I don't feel like doing ANY! Have several errands that I must do, too, and several bills to pay online. Guess it all just never slows down. At least I slept in kind of late this morning! That certainly felt good!
Haven't really read everything and caught up here, but did see that today is the 1-year Anniversary of the Soup Kitchen!!! Congratulations, Wanda & Gene!! Wish I lived closer, so I could lend a hand. You are doing a wonderful job!
Well, I need to get showered and hit the road running. I probably won't get back here until late tonight, after I'm home from my English class.
