meanwhile, Maine and Decorah and Victoria/ Sidney have wonderful live streaming feeds with sound....I just like to see live eagles, makes no matter to me who they are...just like eagles:)
Jo, you are probably right.....we must have confused the 2nd w/ second day of the week! What time is your scan? Glad you had such nice company this morning.
Gearing up for vet apptmt. later this afternoon. for dog, that is! Vaccine time, and schedule surgery to have lesion removed from her eyelid again. Have to put back seat down in truck and put in carrier(not enuf room in garage to do it IN there!)--without her knowing, because she gets SO excited about going bye-bye that she's almost unmanageable!! Crazy hotdog!
Just checked my balance. It is good! Just have to watch out for things that will trip me. Yesterday it was sticks on the sidewalk. Jack had put them there near the garbage can. The boys had collected them while playing. Jack then gathered them and piled them up there. I was carrying a plant to the greenhouse.
Time to walk and do my exercising. Jack said "let's walk".
Good Morning, Eagle Gang! Oh, Lynn! What awful news! I sure hope they catch the culprit(s) really SOON, before more eagles are harmed! Prayers for the survivors--that they are able to make a full recovery! Gosh, what's gotten into people lately?! There are a bunch of wackos out there! Hope they prosecute to the full extent of the law! GRRRRRRRR!!! It's so upsetting to hear that some moron has injured or killed an innocent creature!
Hope you are all having a good morning! It's really pretty cold here, but should heat up to about 70 later. I'm trying to figure out how to rearrange my computer desk--I have a bunch of printed-out transcription homework to do, but there's not much elbow room at this desk. Need to make room for the stuff I have to copy. Only about 6" on the left side, and the mousepad is on the right side. Hmmmmm.... I'll get it figured out somehow. Won't be hearing much from me today; lots of work to do, and school from 5-10 tonight! Guess the holiday is over for now! Hope you're doing OK, Judie and Shirley! Say, did I hear a TRAIN whistle?! WHOOO WHOOO! CHOO CHOO!! You go, Sharon! Expect a FULL report after tomorrow's concert!
I'm going to concentrate on getting this work done, then will come back to say howdy at lunchtime. Hope you have a good afternoon! Later, alligators! :o]
Well I will pass on reading something that will make me sick. I hate how thoughtless many folks are aobut all of life to be honest with you. I woudl however seriously love a copy of the bacon pasta recipe. I think my request got lost on old thread. I usually have managed to post just menutes before the new thread. There are times I have owndered if Steve is waiting for my post so he can move you all over here instead LOL. Kidding but it sure does happen to me lots. Ha Ha I know it is what it is.
I have returned with CT film in hand. Tomorrow is a bone density scan and then a sit down with pulmonary Dr. I have been feeling quite well. Pray it lasts!
Afternoon Everyone! Been out for annual (for 3 yrs.)carotid Doppler at Wash. Adven. Hosp. It's a research deal checking those that got a stent. The filter used also for the surgery was on the cusp of being approved by FDA, is now, & they have to check patients who used it. 1 year to go--Hooray! Gotta couple Xmas presents at lunch! If you buy Chick-fil-A $20 gift cert., you get a Cow calendar! Had to get 2, so we have one. ☺ MOO
Read back some & prayers for Crunch's daughter. Haven't read all the details in long email yet, but just learned that lady artist, Jan, I've worked with for 25 years at Exhibit office has son who needs our good vibes. He is the middle child of 3. Andrew is probably mid 20's now, graduated from college, has always been an avid fisherman, has his own house in S. MD, business w/a charter boat. 2 weeks ago, he woke up numb & w/tingling on left side. Drs. said Lyme's or MS. Tests came back~~~he has MS. :>( As I said, I have to read the rest~~F did & said they mentioned lots of new meds that work well. The older girl, who was always an A student, passed the MD bar exam last summer! Youngest boy is in college and Jan takes off from work one day a week to help her 90 yr. old parents w/appts., etc. God give them strength ♥
Prayers of course for Crunch Bob's step-granddaughter and for Lorettas coworkers son. And for yo Jo for continued feeling good! Hope your Hot Dog did OK at the vet Lynn!
I think Jo is right about the Conowingo visit...she has jogged my poor memory into remembering that Tuesday the 2nd was the day for Nilla and Dana...today would have been a good day if so though
Have sent out Bacon Pasta recipe to all those who requested it.(And some who did not!) If I missed someone just let me know. We will now be known at the Bacon Pasta Club. lol
Was doing some online shopping. Received my order confirmation and they had added it up wrong. It was approx. $50 too much. Had to call them and have it changed. Now I think they are giving me free shipping. Check your orders!
Ladies (and Gents) don't forget that the BACON PASTA needs WHIPPING CREAM...not WHIPPED CREAM;) And...if you are watching your calories or cholesterol...use LIGHT CREAM and use Oil instead of the bacon grease. You will LOVE IT!
Made those healthier notes Wanda for the bacon pasta. Hmmm should Iuse bacon turkey. Well maybe half and half. It does sound delicious and you all have been talking about it for days on here. I have my recipe both versions low cal and super duper all printed and good to go.
Just heard on weather that this will be the "Highest" moon so far this year. 80° up.
Got some nest pics on Momster album. Had to delete one---Margy & I hit the same time! One I LUV & will try to enhance. Has 2 heads together. Gotta do din din. BBL
Good evening! Yep, Jim, pics were really good!!! Titles, too! Loretta, sorry to hear about your friends' son. Prayers for sure....some new good meds for MS now which can really mitigate many symptoms. Learned right before I left for vet that we lost another retiree---to cancer. And daughter jsut told me that her MIL's neighbor was just dx. w/ Parkinsons'--47 yr. old school principal. Really lots of bad news lately. Glad so many got to see our eagles!
Shar, WHATEVER YOU DO............do NOT leave the arena without your ticket stub! We don't want anything happpening to you like what happened to the co-ed who went to the concert in Charlottesville!
In a bit of a dither here.....vet tech cut one nail too short....clot stuff didn't stop the bleeding, so they bandaged whole foot with one of those self-clinging bandages.......now I can't get it off. She won't hold still for me to even find the end to just unwrap it....and she keeps trying to chew and pull at it.........argh!!!!!! And I can't get the scissors into it, either.
Stepped outside to cool off----dog worked me into a sweat!----and can hear a nearby church testing their PA system for their Living Nativity presentation which I think starts this weekend. They were playing my very most fav Christmas hymn, Oh Holy Night! Wish you all could have heard my Grams sing it in her opera voice! Beautiful!
Thelma, girlfriend....I think you had better put reins on Sharon and keep her in check!!! Hope YOU are driving....LOL! Not sure excited people should drive!!
I am back for the evening! Margy the sign says it is Tuesday - all day - lol Has to be confusing for you at times! I did send Jim your Yodeling pic - I loved it I also had sent Glo the recipe.. You can never go wrong with 2!
Got a call from Dr and test results of the ultrasound on the arteries show that I am CLEAN! No clogging! So whatever it was the other evening we'll never know for sure. I can live with that.
So Thelma is going to ride the train with Sharon...
Love the moon, too.
Lynn - I love O Holy Night as well, one of my Favorites. Have you heard Josh Grobin's version? I am not a big Josh Grobin fan, but it really shows off his voice.
Well I finally got the bandage off!!! She is such a wimp----acting like the wounded invalid! Dug out my sharp little suture scissors which cut through the stupiud thing in 3 snips!!
Found a yummy candy! Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark chocolate! Just a little square wafer---could become addictive!
Yes, Paula, love Grobin's rendition. Don't know, Wanda----we'll find out when we get the Christmas CD...never mind, I just called Christie and YES IT IS!!!!!!!! Along with The Lords' Prayer!
Good evening! Jack is back home and we have a working computer once again. This time is was the fan. Computer friend replaced it.
I have been digging out Christmas decorations that are stored in the house. Jack will have to go to the attic tomorrow.
JO...that is a wonderful doctor's report. Wahoo! And, you said you have been feeling good. That is great.
Bacon Pasta, half and half will work, but the sauce does not get as thick. I can cut out the 2 T. bacon drippings, but to cut out the cream does affect the outcome.
And to you, too, Lolly!! Getting in the spirit, slowly but surely. Got my wreath hung on garage today, but the lights won't work...drat! Guess that justifies getting a new one, right??
It takes days for me to get all my decorations out. Need to have my head examined! But, if I am going to get out all the decorations for house, yard and tree, I want it to be up a full month.
I had my outside Christmas lights turned on this evening until I saw how bright the moon was shinning. I turned off the light and enjoyed the Moon Light
I too got my wreathe on the door and some christmas lights outside today. I am tryng to beat the cold spell coming in this week. Like tomorrow. Brrrr!!!!!. While checking on my address for a Momster it came to my attention that there is an address list that does not have my correct house number on it. Some of you know my address from the past but just in case you need it again or there is someone new who would like it my house number is 3106 The rest of the info is correct as far as I know. My mailman of many years retired like 2 weeks ago. We have substitute mail "person" LOL so its anybodies guess who will bring the mail but I guarantee you they do not know our names and I live in a city. Even mail deleivery loses that personal touch that even I knew for a few years out int he country. I am getting ready to post a few pictures from yesterday onto Glo's Glimpses before I head to bed. Go ahead take a guess what its pictures of. Not so great BUT the first of this year so up they go :-).
I am going to say goodnight, my fine, fowl friends! Will check out your new pics in the morning, Glo. Hope everyone rests well.............and no one gets hit by a Train!!! Prayers all around.
Fell asleep and need to catch up. For now, turning my light off but leaving the night light on for others. Andy, please set the security system for us.
I'm extremely late tonight and I"m sorry. I though something was wrong with my compputer and later found out my cat was laying on the modem's top button which will interrfer with being online. Bad Kitty, Missy! She wants to be where I am so she lays on top of the printer and the modem is right beside the printer.
I wasn't trying to ignore any of you tonif]ght, just had to figure it out. Make supper, clean up, and watch NCIS (an older one by we watched it anyway) Now I'm not sleepy. Too a sleeping pill and as soon as it starts to work, I', heading for my chair.
There's been a lot of grief on here today and will pray that all are under God's care tonight.
The Train pulls out to morrow so Sharon should be on it. I'll wave as she goes by or pretend.. Hope she's close enough to get reallly good pics.
Well, I think that pil is starting to work, my vision is becoming blurry and I'm sure my spelling is not to my usual, so I better crawl on over to my chair.
G'nite to all lmy eagle buddies, I'll check in tomorrow.
Hi, Everyone! Well, I made it home from school OK. The moon is so bright I almost didn't need headlights! (Used them anyway, though.) What a beautiful view I got of the moon on the way to school! It was low in the sky, absolutely HUGE, and SO bright! Wow! Glad to hear the good news, Jo, about the Dr. visit! It's wonderful you're feeling so well, too! By golly, prayer absolutely works!!! Thank God!!! Praying for some new situations here today as well. Lynn, glad your pup is free of that bandage, and that all went well at the vet. Wanda, you wild woman, you! What's going on with the whipped cream?!--never mind, better not tell. This blog is G-rated! ;o] Megan, love your wreath! Hope your hands recover overnight! Margy, how long before you get some time off?!! Pray the Lord multiplies your sleep tonight! Judie, same for you! Sounds like you're needing an extra helping of energy.
I'm in a really good mood tonight! My teacher says she thinks I have a lot of transcription talent! That means that the Lord has really been answering those prayers--so thanks so very much, you guys and gals! Please don't stop praying, because I have to take THREE tests on Thursday! Because of so much holiday time off, we have to compress the lessons into much less time! Yikes!! I really am enjoying this class, though. I finally get to do some actual transcribing! It's SO interesting! Guess I've found where I'm supposed to be! Oh--before I forget, I have a prayer request for a friend at school named Evelyn. She's lost a really close cousin to MS. They grew up together, got a first apartment together, and are more like sisters, so she's really hurting! She's making all the arrangements, so will have to drop out of my MT Practice class and re-take it next quarter. No possible way for her to keep up after 2 absences. She's got all kinds of complicated legal problems going on with her father, too, who's in his 90s, and has been scammed by a rotten car dealership. Poor gal, it all hit her at once! Time to get on our knees again, for sure.
Lolly, You and I are on the same page, Christmas decoration wise. I only found one thing, our little wooden advent calendar. It's on top of our entertainment center. More to come tomorrow, I hope. Homework comes first, though. Better get to bed so I can hit the road running tomorrow. So much to do, so little time! Sleep tight, everyone. Prayers being said for all situations and all of us. The night light is shining over our favorite eagles' nest, the porch light's automatic, and the eye scanner is ready to go. God bless, and good night! :o]
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!---It is ONE COLD MORNING here in WILD & WONDERFUL WV!--temp is 30°---but I know all you EAGLE MOMSTERS have a WARM HEART!!-----I had a long talk with DANA last night--I so enjoyed our conversation--she mentioned that NILLA wasn't well & they didn't go to see the EAGLES---But plan to another time!---BLESS her heart---she says things go up & down--has her mother close--a wonderful thing for her!---All the prayers keep her going -- that gal may be small in stature---but she has SPUNK!---LOVE YOU DANA---will keep you in my thoughts & prayers!
MORNIN' SHIRLEY!---CONGRATS!---You are our #1 EAGLE MOM--today & every day!----MEGAN & MARGY---I saw another FROST MOON---but it is a bit foggy out--wasn't as bright as yesterday---but beautiful!!
That's too bad that the trip for Dana and Nilla had to be canceled. That trip was just what Dana needed right now:( Hope it's nothing serious that is wrong with Nilla.
I saw something in the Journal about a young mother with a 3 yr old, who has recurring cancer and no income, at this time. A fundraiser is planned for her. Wonder if that could be Crunch Bob's Step-grandaughter?
MORNIN' MARGY and WANDA!---Only takes 'ONE EAGLE' to make one's day!!!--- haven't gotten rain yet--but hear it's headed this way!!----MARGY---I had the FROST MOON yesterday---still there this am--but not as bright!!
BLUEFIELD SHARON!!---How are they gonna keep you down (on the farm) in BLUEFIELD after you have seen --- CHOO-CHOO-TRAIN!!--DOUBLE WOW-WOW!!--I don't know what T-BIRD is going to do when you faint???? YOU KIDS WILL ROCK TONIGHT!!!!!!!
Today Rain...mainly this afternoon. Highs around 50. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent. » ZIP Code Detail Tonight Rain. Lows in the mid 40s. South winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent. Thursday Mostly sunny. A slight chance of showers in the morning. Highs in the mid 50s. West winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Hi y'all. And snow in the Finland nest, Mits!!! Getting close to sunset there. Yep, Wanda, that is Crunch's step-gd---before she couldn't work anymore, she worked at the radio station (don't know in what capacity). Situation really ticks me off----I worked with her father-in-law who we always thought was a great guy. His son certainly is not proving that!! Of course, the one I know also has 3 half-brothers and a step-father who are all jerks, so......
Guess what? Garage wreath lights are burning this morning! Go figure! Too bad that Nilla got sick......who is Jill? Her daughter? And saw a late night poster named Birdie-----who is that???
Morning everyone! Yet another "make my own sunshine day" here. Rain to start here later this afternoon, wind and a chance of T'storms after midnight.
I have effectively worked myself into a tizzy...I'm having surgery to relieve a compressed nerve in my elbow on Friday morning. Mind you, it's a 1 hour surgery, be home an hour after that and will have use of the arm (although it will be sore) WELL...you'd think I was having a 5 hour surgery and might not live the way I am trying to get everything in order around here! I have to walk dogs this morning, take Raven to the beauty parlor, babysit later...clean, laundry I NEED TO RELAX!!! LOL! I'm making my poor husband nuts!
I guess so, Lynne! NOW I can't justify nbuying a new one, but this one will hit the trash can at the end of the season! It's dropping it's artifical needles anyway. Won't say I'm GLAD you're having surgery, but I'm glad you're having surgery---if you get my drift. Hoping that the nerve damage is not permanent and that this will do the trick!! You sound like me---prepare for all contingencies. Good luck. Will be praying for rapid recovery.
I can tell you that if it were ME, I'd buy a new wreath! I'd be nervous that there is a glitch in the electric wire somewhere and that it might catch on fire.
Did You Know.......the Aleutian Islands in Alaska were hit with a tremendous winter storm.......only 18" of snow, but winds of 178 mph! It's a wonder the snow wasn't blown to the lower 48!
The Caltrans Eagle Cam goes live on the December 2, 2009. A live media event releasing the updated web feed will be held in the Visitor Center at Turtle Bay Exploration Park at Noon.
"Dam" thats where I would be headed with Dana today if I lived within 3 hours drive of her. Maybe she can drive over and sit somewhere where she can see Lib and Belles tree and they will come to visit her instead. argh.

Good morning! Thanks for the new thread! Hope you have a great day!
Will go call everyone over!
:( No news on the live feed yet. Bummer.
thanks, Lolly
You are more than welcome, Mits!
Not sore today! Nor stiff...least no more than usual. I think I came out of that fall "smelling like a rose!"
However, I have been sneezing non stop since I woke up! Also, a little stuffy.....I do NOT want a cold. Hoping it is just allergies!
Need to check my balance!
Jack is wanting the laptop. Guess I could share.
Have a great day everyone....I will be back! This sharing is the pits! lol
Morning, all!
I check for the live feed every day Sharon, just in case Steve forgets to tell us :)

I thought so, Mits. Terrible, isn't it?
Just checked my balance. It is good! Just have to watch out for things that will trip me. Yesterday it was sticks on the sidewalk. Jack had put them there near the garbage can. That WAS a nice visit, and nice to share it with friends ☺ ♥
I got some pics from 4:51 thru 4:57 - put them on the Momster album, which is going to fill up FAST !
Thanks, Wanda. I plan to use turkey bacon which hardly has any drippings, so the oil will be good!
I transfered the link for Ed's memorial (on the old thread) over the to E-M for our Momsters and Dadsters.
Thanks Jo for posting that this morning!
FULL MOON IS UP !

Sharon...take lots of pictures and NOTES! We want to hear all about it!
You know we deserve to hear all about it after hearing about TRAIN
for 2 months or was it three?
I probably will not be taking notes but hopefully we can get a camera in to take pictures!

Good evening friends.
Had a bear of a day at work trying to get everything in order so I can catch the train tomorrow. : )
Sounds really nice Hedgie.
The music, not the doggie problem.
Thelma, girlfriend....I think you had better put reins on Sharon and keep her in check!!! Hope YOU are driving....LOL! Not sure excited people should drive!!
Have you all checked the moon out tonight? WOW
Yes, T-bird, it is lovely!!!
As I'm reading the blog, I see we have had the same idea about the moon. That is so KWL.

Got a call from Dr and test results of the ultrasound on the arteries show that I am CLEAN! No clogging!
So whatever it was the other evening we'll never know for sure. I can live with that.
Sharon Have a blast tomorrow!
Just stop by waiting for Jim to come home - he's on his way.
Also, the pig is back again at ESPN. Is this oiker wild or part of a herd??
... later
The full moon is waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy up
Megan - when this month is the
Blue Moon
OK Diann, I see the ESPN animal
Tail is too long for a domestic pig
I am thinking it is a wild boar.
Nope - their forum says it is a
Razorback hog, black as night
All I know is that the raccoon doesn't seem to mine his being there.
*** Razorback is an Americanism and rarely used in Europe; where the animal is generally known as a wild boar.
Taking a break - BBILW
NASA's pictures of the day....would make a great screensaver, as it's downloadable in a large size.
Picture of the day
So Thelma is going to ride the train with Sharon...
Love the moon, too.
Lynn - I love O Holy Night as well, one of my Favorites. Have you heard Josh Grobin's version? I am not a big Josh Grobin fan, but it really shows off his voice.
I would LOVE to hear Il Divo sing OH HOLY NIGHT! Have they done that one, Lynn?
Well I finally got the bandage off!!! She is such a wimp----acting like the wounded invalid! Dug out my sharp little suture scissors which cut through the stupiud thing in 3 snips!!
Found a yummy candy! Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark chocolate! Just a little square wafer---could become addictive!
Paula, loved the pic....don't know why I didn't get that one!! But I saved it!!!
Fantastic picture of an eagle, Paula. Thanks for telling us about it.
Wanda, Chris will put the CD's in the mail to us tomorrow----sending yours directly to you!
Good evening!
Just stopping by to say good night.
Jo, happy to know that your doctor's report was good.
Lynn, thankful that the doggie got taken care of.
Lolly has her computer fixed. Yea
So sorry to learn about the poisoned eagles.
Train is almost at the station!
See you later!
Well, duh....my post just disappeared!
Wanda.....Chris is mailing the CD's tomorrow----yours directly to you!
And now it's there----this blogger cop is a pain!!!
This is Dec. 1, right? Well, let the festivities begin!
Merry Christmas everyone!
ho ho ho!
And to you, too, Lolly!!
Getting in the spirit, slowly but surely. Got my wreath hung on garage today, but the lights won't work...drat! Guess that justifies getting a new one, right??
Hi, Shirley. Bye, Shirley!
It takes days for me to get all my decorations out. Need to have my head examined! But, if I am going to get out all the decorations for house, yard and tree, I want it to be up a full month.
And, Lynn, do not forget your music box! I am so glad you have it!
Good Night Shirley
Good night everyone.
Hey Jo, full blue moon is December 31st!
Quitting early tonite... and hands too tired to type- nite all.
Good Night Glo and Megan... Rest well.
Oh, no, Glo.....hope you get the magazine okay!!!!
Lolly, MY music box (thanks, Jack!) has been out on the dining table ever since I got home the night of Open House!!!
Good night, Megan. Soak your hands!!!
Hey it's Dancing Santa!
Well Lynn If you sent it to the list address and I do get it , it will be a good sign for sure. Either way we tried and I thank you very much.
Well, Glo, if it doesn't go through, I'm sure it will come back and then I'll start over!!!!
warthogs on pete's pond!
I am going to say goodnight, my fine, fowl friends! Will check out your new pics in the morning, Glo. Hope everyone rests well.............and no one gets hit by a Train!!! Prayers all around.

Goodnight peeps! *checks nightlight*
This blog is G-rated! ;o]
Megan, love your wreath!
Lolly,
You and I are on the same page, Christmas decoration wise.
P.S.--Dana, have been thinking of you--((((HUMUNGOUS HUGS))))!!!!
Love all of you guys!!!
Good morning. Just passing through and getting ready to go to work. Love the avatar, Lolly!
Prayers for your friend, Andy. And prayers for your three-test night. Good grief!
God bless.
Shirley

GOOD HEALTH news JO!--Sending prayers to all in need this am!!
Yep, I just checked back on yesterday morning's blog and that sure sounds like Crunch's Grandaughter:(
MORNIN' MARGY and WANDA!---Only takes 'ONE EAGLE' to make one's day!!!--- haven't gotten rain yet--but hear it's headed this way!!----MARGY---I had the FROST MOON yesterday---still there this am--but not as bright!!

ospreys at Cape Coral nest and Dunedin
I saw that too, Lynn...have no idea??
Lynn, sounds like the "Ghost of Christmas Decorations" came to visit in the night!
Thanks Lynn!
MORNIN' HEDGIE--LYNN2---HEDGIE where is JILL?---Is it one of my typos---MITS noticed it too!---
no, Norma I noticed the post from someone named Birdie????
eagle at BWO
The Caltrans Eagle Cam goes live on the December 2, 2009. A live media event releasing the updated web feed will be held in the Visitor Center at Turtle Bay Exploration Park at Noon.
2 moose on moosewatch.com
later kids---study group & lunch---
LYNN2--Just read about your surgery as I was checking off!---Will keep you in my prayers!!!!
"Dam" thats where I would be headed with Dana today if I lived within 3 hours drive of her. Maybe she can drive over and sit somewhere where she can see Lib and Belles tree and they will come to visit her instead. argh.
