Good morning everyone. Scanned these 33 messages quickly and looks like lots on here still need to be remembered in prayer for sure. Guess I missed the eagles. It is cold cold and sharp bw wind helps you to enjoy the 3 degree temp all the mroe. Brr-r. Errands today at least this morning. Will pull up eagle cam and keep an eye out. Enjoy your day folks

hedgie said...

Looks like lots of snow in Utah! Only see one moosie.
Speaking of Utah.....Mits, an email last week showing holiday lights all around showed a shot of the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City, which sure didn't look anything as lovely as "ours" used to be-----have you driven through in recent years? Is it still as great as in years past?

Mits said...

Lynn, last time we were there, Kevin was in grade school

Lolly said...

Paula, what's up with the hyper snowman? LOL He is cute but I liked the HO HO Ho!

Good morning all! Well, our days of beautiful weather are gone. 31 here this morning, sunshine, but oh so windy. Brrrr! Staying in and cleaning house today. Will put on Christmas music, light some candles (for the aroma!), and get with it.

Wanda, prayers for GG. Bless her heart and you. Not the season to be in the hospital!!!

Dana, sorry you are having problems. Let us know your report after your appointment. Prayers for you, too!

Shirley, you would be surprised about sweet "drams"! lol I told you I was tired. Boy, were there a lot of typos in that post.

Mits said...

starting to get light at Sidney nest...howling wind....

Lolly said...

Mits, I am watching Sidney as well. Need an eagle fix as I missed our pair this morning. Wonder what that light is?

Mits said...

I don't know, Lolly....?

Mits said...

looks like just a branch, that keeps swaying, making the fixed light look like it is blinking

Lolly said...

Yes, I thought that might be it. Could hear some talking. Interesting!

Mits said...

that cam has to be one of the best views and sounds of any I watch:)

hedgie said...

Lolly, I was thinking of a dram of some lovely cinnamon liquer---that's about as much of a liquer as I can take---potent stuff!
Paula, I like your snowman!
Mits, it's probably been that long since we went through, too. We actually got to tour the inside of the temple before it was dedicated......very stark and austere. My paternal grandmother was Mormon (converted from Catholocism when my dad was a child). Don.t know how my Dad ended up Presby, but he always told that the Mormons tried to bribe him to become a member by promising to send him to medical school. He declined!

paula eagleholic said...

Lolly, it's the 12 days of avatars...a new one each day

Mits said...

yeah the night we were there they were looking for new recruits, told them thanks, but no thanks:)It is really beautiful, can see some of the tree lights when we pass by on the beltway

Good Morning All! Busy cleaning in the house with daughter. Lots of new fluff in our nest.
Maybe when GG gets all the testing done her Dr will tell Wanda what he told me when I was disoriented that all my test were ok according to my
AGE and that there isn't any clue as to what caused it. At least to know it wasn't a TMI is a blessing.
Sissy - you've got 2 sick ones in the house again.. put your mask on! Pray that Mattie and Tom are better real soon. Dana I know we all hope that the Dr will have a miracle drug for you.

Lolly said...

Wish I had my daughter here to help clean. Seems like I am always cleaning her house! By the way, going to ask for prayers for that family. They are all well, but really having a hard time financially. Joey lost a BIG account yesterday. Not good. Just want them to hold on to their house!

Mits said...

Hornby nest, no snow, and I just missed a visit by one of its eagles:(

Lolly said...

Think I hear an eagle at Sidney. Maybe they just do not want to come to a snowy nest!

paula eagleholic said...

Bet the Oregon nest still has snow, too.

paula eagleholic said...

YUP, and snowing in Oregon.

paula eagleholic said...

Moosewatch just showing a Moose butt.

Diego is having way too much fun! Just rolling and playing!! How precious!

Lolly said...

Thank you, Jo. That was hard for me to post. Yesterday was a BAD day for them and of course that affects us as well. I know the power of prayer with this group, so decided I really needed to post it.

I have been re-arranging my list as well. So ready for some action. It is going to be a good eagle year!! Feel it in my bones!☺

Lolly said...

I guess that is just a window on Diego's cam. I thought it was a doorway. He is just so cute!

Wednesday at 1:00 Lunch at Red Byrd

Locals want to get together with Dana to get her through this hard time and
decided lunch would be a great idea. If anyone can make plans to come - just show up! The more support we show the better.

He tuckered himself right out and crashed in the doorway!!

Lolly said...

Okay, Eagle Buds! Time for me to get with it! Have let the house go the last few days. My, how two people can mess up a house! Just finished a delicious breakfast (Jack prepared!)and now to work. Forward ho!

hedgie said...

Guess it was good that kids 9 and under got 2 doses of H1N1, huh?
Lolly, so sorry that the kids are having such a rough time. Praying that things will improve rapidly. I live with it everyday with my eldest.....so hard but have learned that it is up to them to pull through. I can't help the way I could when I was working, financially; and when they won't heed advice, I have to just let it go and leave it in God's hands.

Mits said...

poof at Hornby nest

hedgie said...

Just heard from Chrissy. All is well across the pond!

Mits said...

partly sunny, 59° here now

Mits said...

both eagles at Hornby nest

hedgie said...

Cloudy and gloomy 49 here, Mits...but don't really mind. Christmas lights look much prettier than in sunlight!

Mits said...

yeah I like the cloudy days for that reason:)

Mits said...

pretty in fog too.

hedgie said...

Oh, no....not enough Christmas trees in Hawaii.....people are upset! Either not enough ordered or more buyers. 7 containers rejected because of insects. More on the way....will they get there in time??? Hmmmmm.

Mits said...

can't imagine the cost of buying a live tree there...?

Mits said...

Wild Watch osprey cam is back online...

hedgie said...

A lot, Mits, I'm sure!!! Artificial a best-buy!

paula eagleholic said...

That's one of the benefits of an artificial tree...it does pay for itself!

for sure:)

Howdy Jim! How's the weather in So Cal today?

hedgie said...

Insurance apptmt. today. Gave up the guy previously scheduled with. Never returned call as promised, so....heard my State Farm agent is handling health care plans....so she will get my business again!
Off to get ready. Later, gators!
Happy camming.

hedgie said...

P.S. Any GWTW fans out there? On tonight----TCM---followed by an hour of stuff about "the making of...."!

stronghunter said...

Speaking of expensive Christmas trees, the Decca Club has put the trees here at school up for bids. I really like the Cindy Lou Who tree, so I bid $50.00. I just found out that the bid is now at $100.00. Somebody's pockets are deeper than mine. I will not be getting the Cindy Lou Who tree.

Good that they are making some money on it. I hear that all of the bidding is on that one tree!!

stronghunter said...

Oh my, I gave my seniors an assignment to make a timeline of the events related to the French Revolution. (We watched A Tale of Two Cities while students were finishing up their research paper requirements and getting things turned in.)

They have to make a rough draft and get it approved before they put it on posterboard. First paper submitted for approval was about the American Revolution.

Mema Jo said...

lol Well Shirley at least it was a
REVOLUTION! These stories you share never cease to amaze me! Love them.

paula eagleholic said...

WOW EAGLE IN OUR NEST!!

paula eagleholic said...

Geesh thought would never post....2 now, Belle near, Lib far.

paula eagleholic said...

WOW!

movin said...

Hi, Paula.

60° and pretty cloudy in So Cal this A.M., which is a bit warmer than yesterday though.

Supposed to get up to 69° tops. We'll see.

We did get several days of moderate showers last week... No more of that for a while, but it's not clearing up totally either.

Shirley, Jack just reminded me Michael did that once...in a talented and gifted class in jr.high. Came home, said he had a research paper to do. He told us any subject. He did a great research paper on Antietam. His teacher said, "Michael, that is a great paper but it was supposed to be on architecture." He revised the paper and did it on the Dunker church at Antietam.

Lolly said...

Well, wouldn't you know...missed the visit while typing. Lovely, just lovely!

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Gang,
I just wrote a bunch of comments, and apparently the blogger cop sent them to the Twilight Zone. Haven't got time to re-write, with all I must do today. Just know that I'm praying for all the situations mentioned here since last night. Sending ((((HUGE HUGS)))) to everyone! Must get busy on lots of stuff--will BBL to say hello. Have a great morning/afternoon! Love all you guys! :o]

Lolly said...

Snowman has snow on his nose.

Lolly said...

Have decluttered, vacuumed and mopped. Now to dust and then I will wrap some presents.

paula eagleholic said...

Looks like they brought more fluff, or spread around what was already in the nest.

stronghunter said...

Will check out the snowman when I get home. It is forbidden here.

Lolly, it is a good thing I asked them to get the timelines approved before they put them on poster paper. I am doing a quick eyeball check, but I did notice that it was the wrong war. They worked hard on the research papers, so I am trying to let them do a draw and color project to wind up things. Not really enough time to start a major unit.

stronghunter said...

Nice save for Michael, Lolly!
