I am so jealous of ya'll, haven't been able to see the cam for about two weeks. Just a black screen and the dumb barber pole. I've tried refreshing and nothing works. 09/09/09:
We've posted the final entry in our 2009 Osprey Cam Web Log.
We'll be keeping the Osprey Cam Gallery open and the Osprey Cam online throughout the fall and winter, since we expect to see bald eagles on the cam platform once our osprey family leaves town.

Well, that is cool how they do that. That is a pitiful picture of Koo. We watch these creatures and they become so special to us and we feel like they should be treated like the royalty we think they are. But, in reality, I think the ones that do the rescuing are doing the best they can. At least they are trying, I feel. I think she should have been on a velvet pillow but...

Space shuttle Discovery underwent the Flight Control System checkout and Reaction Control System hotfire using all the primary jets. A piece of debris jarred loose from the shuttle during the checkout, though it was determined not to be a piece of the thermal protection system. Late inspection results cleared Discovery's wing leading edge and nose cap and the shuttle is ready for landing.
Thursday's landing opportunities begin with a planned deorbit burn at 5:59 p.m. EDT and a daylight landing at 7:05 p.m. The next opportunity is one hour after sunset with the deorbit burn at 7:36 p.m. EDT and a landing at 8:42 p.m. EDT.

I have an aunt who is turning 100 on Sunday. Aunt Edna is the last of that generation. So, today I have to get her card in the mail and of course, I need to write her a letter. She lives with her daughter. She is frail but her mind is clear. Hard to imagine living to 100.
Gotta go, but have to say.............Hey, Sharon, got your Train tickets yet?!!! lol

Speaking of Chrissy, I have to tell you that she has been sending Links to interesting history about England to Gene (He is a History Buff and wanted to know more about England). Her info has kept him busy for hours on end and takes his mind off of his poor foot:)

One of the members of A South Dakota Acoustic Christmas has been battling lung cancer for the past year. It is back for the third time, please add Doreen to your prayers. Attending their concerts was always a joy for me, they retired this past Christmas.

OMG, Deb.....worked with a lady whose married name was Pospisil! Everyone called her Popsickle! Just recently died....at a relatively young age--65. Don't remember ever hearing where her deceased husbands' people were from, but he was MUCH older than she was and died probably 15 yrs. ago.
Prayers for Doreen, for sure....nice Caring page. Definitely understand what she's going through....more power to her....don't know if I will do it again when I have a recurrence! Seriously doubt it.

(Yawn!...) Wow, I slept in this morning, got a bit of work done in the house, then fell asleep again for a quick panda nap! Hope I'm caught up on ZZZZs now! May need to go get some coffee to give myself a jump start, though.
Looks like a nice day outside. Think it's supposed to be just a bit warmer today, though. How about you guys sending some rain this way? I'm gonna get my rain dance shoes on!
