Well, it looks like she is either stuck or moving sticks. I think her talon is stuck on the stick. She just got it loose I think. Well, one foot is loose but the other looks stuck.
Thanks for the fresh thread, Steve. Thanks for coming to visit the nest, Hidey as I just signed on again. Very glad to see you again! It has been breezy (windy at times) here most of the day. Not sure if showers (storm) are coming our way or not.
Thanks for the hint, Jim for restarting the cam. I'll try it in a few minutes. I did get it started up before - just took a couple tries! Maybe we are #1 again on beakspeak and the lines were busy.
Off to see a friend. I had brought them fudge back and before I could call them they called me to tell me their 14 year old dog had passed away. I was suppose to watch him Friday while they went up to Charlestown.
Hi all...just checking in on our Hidey...and missed the nesting and take off. Have been a crazy woman (more than usual) at work and home...but am here...hope all is well with all...and i continue to check in when I can...wishing all a great evening and blessings as usual...we are getting alot of clouds here in Cross Junction...not sure of rain...but sure does look like it!
Hi all! Back from swimming. Feel very relaxed! Kids had a ball. Joseph loved jumping off the high board. Got Jacob to start jumping off the side. He also wanted me to "throw" him. He would pretend to not want to be thrown, kept coming back for more and more. LOL
Relaxing before starting dinner.
Just saw the eaglet on a tree branch at OK. Sweet little eaglet learning lifes lessons!
Fudge is good for me... The fawn has not been seen since this morning. I've looked at the pictures more closely and believe it had a skin wound, maybe the neighbors big dogs got a hold of it, we've seen them running around lately.
The librarian at our school keeps a stash of chocolate for teachers. When one of us looks a bit stressed, he comes up and says,"Do you need chocolate?" Once he simply brought me a handful of chocolate bars and handed them to me.
He's the father of triplets. Knows a lot about kids.
When I was teaching, I could walk through the lounge and pass up sweets. It was the chips and dip that drew me in! Still is the salty things that are my downfall.
Jo, I see the OK eaglet in the tree, now. It's windy there, too. Looks like they are having some problems keeping the camera focused. Glad the eaglet made it over the water to the shore.
At least there would be some shade in the tree! Click on the blue link I just put on... It is from the Maine Forum.. You can move it up to the last 30 secs - I loved it!
If you scroll down from the OK Cams... the link is also there Plus another one I am going to view.
The OK short clip just repeats the take off over and over. The fish that was in the OK nest is gone - Guess adults went ahead and ate it. I am surprised we don't see an adult over in the tree with the eaglet. Maybe they are there.
Hello... It wasn't me blowing the horn. I've been at GeeGee's. Might have been Margy. She was fishing today with her Grandson and not too far from there. Hope it was she, and got to see Hidey:)
We have a bumper crop of lettuce this year and it is sooo good. Wish our tomatoes were ripe. Snow peas are crisp and tender and onions are so sweet. Green beans are about 3 inches long. We have a Country Ham just waiting to go for a swim in a pot of green beans and potatoes just waiting to be dug. I should invite the Momsters:)
Shirley, that is what we do. My hubby lifts the plant and I pull the potatoes out, then we tamp it back into the ground and water it. We planted a potato this year that is red on the outside and yellow inside and is delicious.
Thanks, Sharon, for telling me Hidey had been seen on the other thread.
Hahaha, thanks to Mema Jo for the OKlahoma eaglet action ... in the last seconds of the clip. I figured out to slide the indicator over until I thought it was going to fledge and then watch the clip...beautiful fledging.
Hidey was feeding when I refreshed picture and he sure is quiet in his flake out behavior now.
He might have a wait for fresh fish now, having missed lunch with each parent today.
It has been years since I have grown potatoes. I have some tomatoes in pots this year, but that's it. I have not even had much luck with tomatoes recently. Used to have enough to can, but I was not working outside of my home then.
We were living in Ohio and had a farmer bring his tractor in each spring and plow a strip across the back of our yard. Maybe that is what I need to do. The yard is big enough. Just need to find a farmer.
Walked away to eat dinner. We are up to our eyeballs in lettuce here too, Wanda. Having salad every nite. And yep, my garden is dry, wind is not helping. I've been watering all day.
Great that they have been able to keep the OK Eaglet in view in the tree. I wonder if he'll even think of going back to the nest before dark. Nest is MT now... no adult

Hi there! Boys in bed. Have folded two loads of wash, another in the dryer. Whoa! Grandmommy's work is never done! LOL I am loving it. May not give the boys back to my daughter. hee hee
Yeah, Jo, I am tired, but not as tired as I would think. You know, this weight loss and exercising I have been doing has really helped. I am really feeling great. I am planning on a 5 mile hike in the mountains next week.
Lolly, I haven't mentioned before, but I think that it's so wonderful that you have gotten into such great shape! You must have worked (still work) really hard and you will be an inspiration to me as well as others, I'm sure! I have to try really hard now to do the same, just having been diagnosed with insulin resistance (hyperinsulinanemia). It's a pre diabetic condition. After reading up on it, it explains soooo many things about why I have gained so much weight!
Yep, sure was Jo! I still can not believe it! I am going to really work to keep it this way. One of the best outcomes is not getting as hot as I used to and not perspiring as much. I was a furnace....no more!
I'm going to have to give up for the night. Tomorrow's my last day at school until August. I have to finish packing up because I will be moving into a room somewhere. Do not know where. I do not think I could do a 5-mile hike, Lolly.
I'm back!!! Long day....alone now...ready for peace and quiet. SUPER hard rainstorm here about 9'ish....satellite (TV) out, missed Deadliest Catch...repeats at MN, so hope no more downpours. Glad the deer moved on, Meggy! Deb, so glad you are safe!! Did anyone see the size of the twister in Colorado yesterday?? Massive cell!
Well, Lynn, I hope you can loose the weight. It really is fun to be back down where I belong. I am very proud!! Jack is very happy about it as well. I started Feb. 1 and it took me a little over 4 months to loose 40 pounds.
Well, it is dark in OK now. Guess our little eaglet is going to spend his first night out of the nest. He will be tired tomorrow. Hope is parents are right with him!
Deb's Weather - At 940 PM... emergency management reported 50 to 60 mph winds in Vermillion. Construction signs were also reported down on the east side of Vermillion.
FONZ news: A rare white-naped crane recently hatched at the National Zoo's Conservation and Research Center in Front Royal, Virginia. The female chick is the most genetically important hatchling in the continent's Species Survival Program. There are just a few thousand of these cranes left in the wild.
My day went relatively well. Mom is holding up okay, and is not nearly as confused as my sister has led us to believe. And she only napped for about an hour this afternoon, so her stamina seems pretty good for 2 days shy of 90! Sister is having some Montezuma's revenge, so didn't eat hardly anything, but everyone else seemed to enjoy all my cooking. Grandgirls never showed up----Carolyn couldn't get them awake this am, so Charlie said he would bring them this afternoon...no shows...argh! But will be here tomorrow....hope weather is better so they can play outside!
Need to check NASA and see if launch is still scheduled for 5:40AM.....some hint of pending bad weather....MTBR. Not TOO keen on getting up that early!
Nope, launch on schedule. (So far!) Maybe I'll cheat and just tape it! Sounds like a good idea, huh? it MIGHT be still dasrk enough to see, but tree canopy is so heavy I probably couldn't anyway, so....what's the point?!
Oh, it was fun, Hedgie, we snagged several tree branches and leaves on the bank! While untangling one such mess, I looked overhead and saw a bird that could have been an Eagle, but couldn't disentangle to look ! :(
On the way saw two turkey vultures perched on a hay bale, would have been a great picture but couldn't stop. Saw Gene and Wanda very briefly on the way down...wanted my grandson to meet the Captain and his First Mate ☺
We were not near the nest, so no visit, and no honking! But a friend where we were visiting, was working on the barn near the nest yesterday!
Get some good sleep, you have another busy day coming up Wednesday.
God Bless Us, Every one... and Good Night if I miss some of you. Will be up for awhile yet, but away from the computer for a little bit.
Oh Darn, just read the post about Deb's area...hope she is not having to hide in a closet...Prayers for a break there. Thanks, Mema.... xoxox
Hoping that Deb has a basement! Since no news is good news (maybe her power just went out!), going to pray that she is fine and head to the tub. Will check back after bath. For anyone turning in, have a wonderful night.
Sorry, one of my good friends called and her mom was put in the Hospital today with heart concerns. She gained 14 lbs of water weight since Friday. She is on meds to get rid of the water, so hopefully that will help her heart.
Finally off the phone, I was wrong about how long we talked, 53 minutes. It didn't seem that long.
We got a lot of wind, lightening and some small hail. I didn't see any tree limbs down in my neighbor's yards, but will be able to see better when the sun comes up.
There were 12 tornadoes today in SD, most were out in the country, so damage to structures is pretty minimal. I missed most of it, didn't turn on the TV when I got home. I wanted to get the mowing done. I didn't quite make it, kept looking at the sky, and then decided it was time to quit.
Good Evening, all, Just wanted to let you know I got home from school okay tonight. Thank God Deb is OK! Too tired to read much of the blog tonight; will catch up in the morning. Prayers for everyone, and thanks for our many blessings. Good night, all!...and Spidey, that's a very artistic creation. Hope you catch lots of flying bugs! :o]
The Finney Nest news initially said the 3rd chick hatched June 13. It has been changed now and says 3rd chick hatched June 12. Not sure what that's all about
Got up to check on the Endeavor launch, lucked out and got a one-minute view of the Eaglet. No-go on the launch, and Hidey is gone, so TTFN
I'm probably going back to sleep in short order, but I just saw all three eaglets have returned to the NBG nest, and the oldest is having breakfast in the nest.

Hydrogen Leak Prevents STS-127 Launch Wed, 17 Jun 2009 07:03:28 AM UTC-0100
Space shuttle Endeavour's STS-127 launch today was officially scrubbed at 1:55 a.m. EDT when the same type of gaseous hydrogen leak was detected at the Ground Umbilical Carrier Plate, or GUCP. This is the same location where a similar leak resulted in a launch scrub on June 13.
"We're going to step back and figure out what the problem is and go fix it," said Deputy Space Shuttle Program Manager LeRoy Cain during a briefing afterward. "Once we get it fixed and we're confident that we have a solution that's going to work and allow us to go fly safely, then we'll proceed forward."
Teams followed the same repair method as they did for the GUCP leak encountered during the STS-119 countdown. The STS-119 and STS-127 leaks will both be evaluated in order to determine the cause. Data collected during fueling is expected to help the troubleshooting effort.
Endeavour's next launch attempt for its STS-127 mission is targeted for July 11 at 7:39 p.m. EDT.
jubby's co-workers gave him a nice little get-together at the office last night, his 40th anniversary with the firm was yesterday, office manager told him it was one of the biggest turn outs ever for a party.....:)Our son surprised him by being there:)
I kept telling him that Deb, but he does not like to draw attention to himself.....he is in the middle of a two year extension on work, should have retired by now, they keep coming up with new things for him to do....he is really a hard dedicated worker, they have been lucky to have him all these years.

It is really windy at the nest. Picture is breaking up at times. Hidey resting in nest.
Hidey is plumb flaked out in that nest. I love that!
Wings sort of flopped out even. I know how s/he feels. I feel the same way after a long day at work.
Tired little peeps.
That wind really is whipping hard up there. Just a little breezy here but not like that. Hidey just stretched a wing out. I love that bird!
Hidey is up and flapping those wings. Doing some major wingersizing!
Well, it looks like she is either stuck or moving sticks. I think her talon is stuck on the stick. She just got it loose I think. Well, one foot is loose but the other looks stuck.
Is anybody watching with me? I think maybe her talon is free now. Looks like she is looking for nestovers and moving some sticks now.
She is making a mess in that nest. I bet she gets a spanking when Mommy and Daddy get home.
Yep, I thought someone had delivered food, but I guess she's waiting for a food drop. Really moving sticks around.
Sharon, I think she is doing nestorations.
Sharon, I am still here, just sort of dozing and watching. I was trying to make the picture larger and lost part of it when Hidey's talon got caught.
Whoops, there goes Hidey.
Hidey just took off.
Hidey left to find mom or dad horn just blew. Is Wanda there?
Just heard a horn blow. Wonder if it was a Momster?
Thanks for the fresh thread, Steve.
Thanks for coming to visit the nest, Hidey as I just signed on again. Very glad to see you again!
It has been breezy (windy at times) here most of the day. Not sure if showers (storm) are coming our way or not.
Thanks for the hint, Jim for restarting the cam. I'll try it in a few minutes. I did get it started up before - just took a couple tries! Maybe we are #1 again on beakspeak and the lines were busy.
Nice up close look at one of the Norfolk eaglets
Off to see a friend. I had brought them fudge back and before I could call them they called me to tell me their 14 year old dog had passed away. I was suppose to watch him Friday while they went up to Charlestown.
Before I leave. Lynn hope you are having a nice visit with your mom and sister and the rest of the family.
wow, you lucked out Ceil..
Hi all...just checking in on our Hidey...and missed the nesting and take off. Just saw the eaglet on a tree branch at OK. Sweet little eaglet learning lifes lessons!
Fudge...mmmm......
Now Megan, no talk about fudge!
Bad for you!
Have you seen the fawn this afternoon?
Hidey has returned. Did s/he just shake the camera? Hidey is having trouble with the wind.
Fudge is good for me...
The fawn has not been seen since this morning. I've looked at the pictures more closely and believe it had a skin wound, maybe the neighbors big dogs got a hold of it, we've seen them running around lately.
Fudge is wonderful.
Hi Ceil, Sharon and Shirley!
Glad you are keeping watch on Hidey.
Was trying the OK cams - Only have wide cam up with the landscape view.
They have focused in on the tree where the eaglet has landed.
The librarian at our school keeps a stash of chocolate for teachers. When one of us looks a bit stressed, he comes up and says,"Do you need chocolate?" Once he simply brought me a handful of chocolate bars and handed them to me.

Hi, Jo. I was having trouble getting that camera to come up today. Maybe I'll give it another try.
Watching our Hidey in the nest.
May be thinking of leaving
When I was teaching, I could walk through the lounge and pass up sweets. It was the chips and dip that drew me in! Still is the salty things that are my downfall.
Looks like Hidey is enjoying nestovers.
Heart Stopping Video (last 30 secs)
of the OK Eaglet Take Off
You'll love the thrill of watching
this action........
Jo, I see the OK eaglet in the tree, now. It's windy there, too. Looks like they are having some problems keeping the camera focused. Glad the eaglet made it over the water to the shore.
At least there would be some shade in the tree! Click on the blue link
I just put on... It is from the Maine Forum.. You can move it up to the last 30 secs - I loved it!

the link is also there Plus another one I am going to view.
I think Hidey is cleaning house of any and all edibles!
The OK short clip just repeats the take off over and over. The fish that was in the OK nest is gone - Guess adults went ahead and ate it. I am surprised we don't see an adult over in the tree with the eaglet. Maybe they are there.
It is good, Jo. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! Hidey found some goodies under the stick.
The skies are so dark - but no rain yet
Thanks Jo! Loved that video!!!! How exciting!!!!!! His first flight. Wow!
Hello...
It wasn't me blowing the horn. I've been at GeeGee's. Might have been Margy. She was fishing today with her Grandson and not too far from there. Hope it was she, and got to see Hidey:)
Off to start dinner! Hungry kiddos!

We can use some rain. I can't believe how quickly the garden has dried out...yours too Megan?
Hidey is resting again. Unusually quiet, too.
The best potatoes I ever ate came out of my own garden. I would steal them from under the plants.

Youngest son, dil and 2 gs.
BBL
Yeah!! I see Hidey, it has been over a week since I have seen her. She is so pretty, laying in the nest.
Hidey must have worn herself out today. Maybe it was tiring flying out there in the wind.
Later..
I've been running quite a few videos today, and the puter is getting slow and 'sticky'. Doesn't even type normally now.
Better close some stuff and restart.
Have a good evening.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Walked away to eat dinner. We are up to our eyeballs in lettuce here too, Wanda. Having salad every nite. And yep, my garden is dry, wind is not helping. I've been watering all day.
It was nice seeing Hidey for awhile tonight. Time to feed the dogs and myself, then go and mow some more.
I see occasional glimpses of fluff balls peeking out from under the adult at the Finney nest.
good night everyone:)
I am taking a break, not hot just humid. The OK eaglet has been found in a tree, adult is in the nest.
Good night, Mits.
Company has gone home - temps have really dropped outside.
There is the 2nd bluebird egg in the nest on Wild Watch cams.
Great that they have been able to keep the OK Eaglet in view in the tree. I wonder if he'll even think of going back to the nest before dark. Nest is MT now... no adult
I'm watching the Finney nest. One little one visible. Looks like the adult is feeding.
Tornado warning about 20 miles from me, it looks like it is going straight south, which is good news from me. If it changes to the east, I'll be gone.
For me, not from me.
Keep us posted, Deb.
Cutest little fluffy chicks in Finney nest. I see all three.
They are being fed.
Deb - keep us posted here on the blog..
Praying it heads South
Still headed south, hope it misses all the towns. Going to watch it on tv.
Howdy, all.
Been a long day at work and home...too much to do, too little time. Will try to check back later.
got to see Hidey laying in the nest around 5ish.
Sirens, be back later.
I am still okay for now, the warning area is getting closer though, so I may disappear for awhile with little notice. I met all the neighbors outside.
God protect you Deb!
It sounds like Menno, SD, has quite a bit of damage, but no injuries reported yet, so that is good.

WHoo HOo! so very glad it move away from you. I wasn't sure of your county - just Vermillion
Bless you, Deb. We are thinking about you and your neighbors.
It is still headed towards me, but now it is just a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. Just started to rain. I am going to put a picture of the Lightening tracker up for you, pretty impressive.
BRB
Happy to hear it has moved away from you.
Lightening map is up on Deb's Photos. It shows all the lightening strikes in the last 1/2 hour.
Wow, Deb. That is impressive. How can you get by without unplugging your computer?
Yankton is not in a Tornado Warning anymore. That is what usually happens here, once the sun goes down the storm starts to lose strength.
That is amazing how they track even lightning strikes!
It hasn't hit here yet. I will be ready when it does. I am in Vermillion, right on the Nebraska border.
Hmm, there go the sirens again. BRB
Deb & Shirley - look at the OK wide cam view of the tree where the eaglet flew.. I think my eyes are deceiving me..
Right lower corner
That isn't a person there - is it?
It is still north of me. I don't know why they sound the sirens when it isn't for right here. 2" hail, high winds and tornadic clouds. If you have a SD map, it is between Volin and me.
I had turned all the cams off, in case I have to shut down quick, jo. I think I will shut down now, the storm is about 10 miles away now, it could go just to the north of me, but I want to be ready just in case.
Jo, I don't see a person, but the picture is not clear at all. I expect it' pretty dark there by now.
I do see the eaglet, though.
Bye for now, Deb.
Deb - we'll hear from you whenever the storm passes. Take care - get the doggies and be safe!
(((hugs)))
geez, that storm looks bad Deb, please don't take any chances....
Shirley - I thought it was just in my mind - When I blink my eyes it does
disappear......
Hope Lynn is enjoying her visitors!
I'm sure she is!

Nite Shirley. I'll be here a while hoping to hear from Deb again. Storm should be around her now at 9:30....
Doesn't look nearly as bad on the Google Earth map now, Jo.
That was a reply to Lynne2! ☺
Well, it is dark in OK now. Guess our little eaglet is going to spend his first night out of the nest. He will be tired tomorrow. Hope is parents are right with him!
thanks Lolly, I know I can do it. I may need a 12 step chocoholism program, but I can do it! It's not going to be easy giving up the sugar....
Looks like it is moving on, Shirley
Hope Deb gets the 'all clear' signal and comes back on.
Lynn - how about your day! Hope all is going well!
Happy Last Day tomorrow, Shirley!
Hey there Lynn with no E!
Still looks bad for Deb on the Nexrad Radar...
Deb's Weather - At 940 PM... emergency management reported 50 to 60 mph winds in Vermillion. Construction signs were also reported down on the east side of Vermillion.
FONZ news:
A rare white-naped crane recently hatched at the National Zoo's Conservation and Research Center in Front Royal, Virginia. The female chick is the most genetically important hatchling in the continent's Species Survival Program. There are just a few thousand of these cranes left in the wild.
I just looked at the weather map for Deb at weather.com. She seems to be in the big middle of the storm right now.
Still windy outside here but no rainfall yet. Really has cooled down.
Shirley when your day is finished tomorrow at school, you'll feel like
an eaglet taking a flight to freedom!
Good news about your mom, Lynn!
Need to check NASA and see if launch is still scheduled for 5:40AM.....some hint of pending bad weather....MTBR. Not TOO keen on getting up that early!
Going to hit the rack, good night all, pleasant dreams! I'm sure Deb is OK, but I'll feel better once she's checked in again.
Deb was hoping the severe weather would stay South of Vermillion but the thunderstorms have to be right over her.
Good Night Lynne
Howdy Hedgie and all....
Wow, 0540...for the launch...will try to get up and follow that.
I'm just checking in, so have only read your Mom update and a few others.
Hope sis kicks the bug, and what a wonderful report of your Mom ☺
Will read backwards for all the Good News and tough stuff....
Love to you all....xo
Nope, launch on schedule. (So far!)
Maybe I'll cheat and just tape it! Sounds like a good idea, huh? it MIGHT be still dasrk enough to see, but tree canopy is so heavy I probably couldn't anyway, so....what's the point?!
Hey, Margy....how was your fishing trip with James? DID YOU VISIT THE NEST?? Did the gang hear YOU honk???
Hi Margy
We're tracking severe thunderstorm/tornado warnings at Deb's
Thanks, Mema....
xoxox
Wish Deb would get back on. I am going to leave. I am falling asleep with the computer on my lap.
Sweet dreams to all!
I came on to say good night, but now I have to stay awake to make sure Deb is safe. Hope her electricity stays on!
Margy, so glad you stopped by. Stay longer next time!
Nite, Lolly.
Hoping that Deb has a basement!
Since no news is good news (maybe her power just went out!), going to pray that she is fine and head to the tub. Will check back after bath. For anyone turning in, have a wonderful night.
Sure will, Wanda.... James enjoyed the stopover, and we ALL loved the anti-but things ☺
xoxox Good Night xoxo
Well, we do know that Deb is one smart cookie and will take the best care she can...but I am on pins and needles too....
Margy, what is Anti-But?
I am back, have been on the phone for about 15 minutes. We got a lot of rain and wind, but nothing too bad.
DEB, thank God you are alright! I told you to pull your phone out of the wall:)
OK...we can go to bed now, Deb is safe.
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS FOR ALL
The radar looks as though it has passed by Vermillion. 65 mph winds and hail were in the report for her area. Very good chance of losing electricity.
I feel she is safe! Will hang out a little while longer
Sorry, one of my good friends called and her mom was put in the Hospital today with heart concerns. She gained 14 lbs of water weight since Friday. She is on meds to get rid of the water, so hopefully that will help her heart.
My comment is late
DEB IS BACK
SAFE & SOUND
Wheee Doggy ! Good to See You Deb...! ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺
( Wanda: Anti-BUG - - sorry about that, I could use some Anti-But sometimes too ! Will send note to Denise...what a sweety ! )
Oh, and Two adult Osprey at Finney's - how cozy !
Well, make that one... quick change just like that !
65 mph winds...that is a white-knuckler ! Glad you got through on the other side of all that, Deb
Finally off the phone, I was wrong about how long we talked, 53 minutes. It didn't seem that long.
We got a lot of wind, lightening and some small hail. I didn't see any tree limbs down in my neighbor's yards, but will be able to see better when the sun comes up.
Deer and a raccoon at PIX PA
Going to hit the showers, THEN I will read all the day's news...
Sounds so far so good, Deb, will be watching for your updates in the morning. Hope all is passed through by now...
xo
There were 12 tornadoes today in SD, most were out in the country, so damage to structures is pretty minimal. I missed most of it, didn't turn on the TV when I got home. I wanted to get the mowing done. I didn't quite make it, kept looking at the sky, and then decided it was time to quit.
Time to hit the sack now that the coast is All Clear!
Good night all
prayers for everyone's needs
(((hugs))) ♥
I am off to bed, now that the excitement is over. Night, everyone!
Glad everything is good with you, Deb...whew!! Prayers for your friends' mother, and for all others in need.
Goodnight dear fowl friends!
Good Evening, all,
Just wanted to let you know I got home from school okay tonight. Thank God Deb is OK! Too tired to read much of the blog tonight; will catch up in the morning. Prayers for everyone, and thanks for our many blessings. Good night, all!...and Spidey, that's a very artistic creation. Hope you catch lots of flying bugs! :o]
Hidey is at the nest... ☺
Looks like no one is on here this am,Hidey is singing,S/he is ready for a new day
Hidey was in and out
No Shuttle Launch This Morning
Fuel leak problem, again, was scrubbed at 0155 this morning :(
Bill
did you see Hidey ?
It's raining in Martinsburg and I think Shepherdstown also.
My volume seems very low from our nest this morning...
Hedgie
You did not miss the launch, hope you stayed in bed
The Finney Nest news initially said the 3rd chick hatched June 13. It has been changed now and says 3rd chick hatched June 12. Not sure what that's all about
Got up to check on the Endeavor launch, lucked out and got a one-minute view of the Eaglet. No-go on the launch, and Hidey is gone, so TTFN
Hope everyone has a good day...☺
Good morning to anyone out there. I had a little trouble logging on this morning--just time for a quick hello and then I have to go to work.
Glad to see that Deb got through the night safely.
Don't see Hidey. Still looks dark in OK. See you later.
Good morning, people.
I'm probably going back to sleep in short order, but I just saw all three eaglets have returned to the NBG nest, and the oldest is having breakfast in the nest.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Now all 3 are back in the nest, but alas, it does not appear there will be enough of that fish for the other two eaglets.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Look at Finney's now. Both adults and the chicks can be seen.

Nest Update
06/17/09:
We noticed the cam image has appeared a bit dark lately. We think some dirt may have gotten on the lens. If so, a hard-driving rain might clean it. In the meantime, we've brightened the image a little to make it easier to see our tough little survivor chick.
What a concept, brightening up the cam, so we can see better:)
bright sunny afternoon at FINNEY'S NEST:)
GOOD MORNIN' DEB!!!---WOW! is all I can say---you are COOL!---WV has a CLAY CO--which adjoins my home county---(don't think that will make us cousins----will keep trying) ho!----WISHING YOU A GOOD DAY!!!
blog ate my story---re:--I was watching the FINLAND site---Poor OSPREY MOM---looks as if DEB'S storm swept through her nest!!---She could really use a new 'hair do'----bless her heart!!
Iowa has a Clay County, too, Norma, and it isn't far from here. Maybe 100 miles. It can get confusing when there are storms in the area.
Hydrogen Leak Prevents STS-127 Launch
Wed, 17 Jun 2009 07:03:28 AM UTC-0100
EDT.
jubby's co-workers gave him a nice little get-together at the office last night, his 40th anniversary with the firm was yesterday, office manager told him it was one of the biggest turn outs ever for a party.....:)Our son surprised him by being there:)
feeding time at FINNEY'S NEST:)
How nice , 40 years in the same job is quite an accomplishment!
I kept telling him that Deb, but he does not like to draw attention to himself.....he is in the middle of a two year extension on work, should have retired by now, they keep coming up with new things for him to do....he is really a hard dedicated worker, they have been lucky to have him all these years.
SPLIT!!!!!!!!!!!!
