Jo,Megan,Lynn, I'll be sure to let you know how the owl prowl goes...the weather is supposed to be nice and it will be a full moon, too!!
Paula, I am so sad about the Delta nest...my internet was down yesterday so I couldn't check on them and this morning when I was on, it was too dark to really see. I kinda figured something bad was inevitable due to the condition of that nest. But I sure was hopeful.
Hi, everyone! I finally got caught up on the blog, after sleeping in this morning. Movin Jim, that's amazing about the hummers! My Grandma had a black-chinned that she raised after saving it as a baby from a stray cat's mouth. She brought it in the house, put it in a berry basket lined with cotton, and fed it nectar out of an extra hummingbird feeder until it got big enough to fledge. Had a tree branch in the house for a few days for it to perch on. After she released it, it was SO tame you could get within a foot of it with no problem. It would meet her at the back door and follow her all over the back yard as she did yard work. It lived in her yard for a long time.
Looks like you're getting some steady rain at the nest today-- I turned up my sound, and am really enjoying it! (Did I mention that rain is my favorite weather?) Must be my English genes kicking in. LOL :o]
Dana, love the fox sounds!
Sounds like Hidey is trying to find a way to readjust the camera!
Knew a guy at work who would use baby food jars w/ holes in the lid...he could sit with the jar in his hand and the hummers would come right up and perch on his finger and drink.
Just got home from Mattie's Awards Day/Graduation. She won 13 awards, the most of anyone in her class. Jamming little girl! They had a reception afterwards, it was really nice. Andrew saw a lot of his teachers that he hadn't seen in a while. They couldn't believe how grown up he is.
Thanks, Deb, I think the little cutie was just VERY grateful for being saved! The most incredible part of the story for me was being able to hold the hummer in my hand-- they're SO lightweight, they feel no heavier than a dust bunny! If you close your eyes, you can't even feel that they're in the palm of your hand. (All that personality in such a tiny package!)
Yeah, you gotta eat the baby food before you fill it with nectar! Waste not, want not! THe Blueberry Buckle is good, too...do they still make that?? LOL! Been too long since I've had babies! Congrats to our sweet Mattie!! Glad that the school knows how special she is...we do! My rising middle schooler didn't have any kind of "grad" celebration from intermediate school...bunch of stuffed-shirts, I guess. Jenn goes into 6th and Jess goes into High School---eek!!! At least they go to different schools than my girls did...they always got compared to their math genius dad by teachers who had been there forever!
I've been checking in all day and haven't seen Hidey since he pooped and then flew earlier this morning. Wish I could've seen the turtle, too! Ceil - I clicked on your name but didn't see a way to email you. I mainly need info on the rental car arrangements at BWI. In terminal or off-site? I'm flying in just ahead of my subject and need time to get a car before setting up in the baggage claim area to wait on her/them. Lolly - Thanks! I'll watch for costume lady. It'd be nice to have someone to visit the nest with. Hope Hidey doesn't fly the coop before I can get there!
Yeah, Lynn, you've got the right idea! I like the Dutch Apple, too-- yum! Believe me, it won't go to waste-- more likely, to WAIST! LOL Oh, well it's for a good cause... Hummingbirds rock!
Sorry, Sharon! That was you with the Dutch Apple! Mea culpa! Say, congratulations to Mattie! Good job-- you go, girl! :o] Bet Andrew had a lot of fun, too. It's great to keep in touch with favorite teachers.
WOW, HIDEY IN THE NEST!!!!!!!! I just stepped away for a second to get some lunch, and missed the landing! Dig into that fish, Hidey! Can someone tell me whether Hidey brought the fish, or if it's nestovers?
Hmmm... could it be that Hidey's learning to fish? He's usually VERY vocal, but if he caught the fish, he might not want to broadcast the fact that he has it!
Andrea - Just could be that Hidey flew in with a catch - I do think there were nestovers waiting for him fromthe last feed Lib did. I wish one of us would have been watching at the right time! Little Sneaky Eaglet!!!!
Boy, that's a nice fish! Hidey should have a nice full tummy when that's gone. Our eaglet is doing okay!!!
It could be that Hidey was quiet because neither parent was near the nest, too. Gosh, we need somebody from National Geographic with a camera crew to come out and follow Hidey around. That way we'd know what's happening!
Looks like Hidey's trying to fly under the radar today! Well, I gotta go run a couple of errands before Hubby gets home from work. Will check back in a bit. :o]
Darn! I missed Hidey AGAIN!! I had it minimized but I can usually hear some commotion from the arrival. I guess his cute little crash landings are over with. ::sigh::
I am finally able to get back on here! Miss 'Puter was soooo slooow this morning, I had to run a complete clean-up on it. I Couldn't get Hidey's Live feed...said I needed to install Adobe Flash Player, but after two tries and being told there was a problem with my 'puter, I decided to clean it up and try again. It worked this time:)
Hi Folks...I can hear Hidey but cant see her/him...hiding somewhere? Lord I think we are going to have to build an ark if the rain doesnt stop...more on the way tomorrow I hear...where is that little baby at???
Thanks Mema Jo - read your link on Mason...my heavens - things like this sure do set perspective for us who are able to be awake in the world...my prayers are with that family for sure.
I must leave to get ready to attend a graduation up at the Knott Arena at Mount St Mary's - that is where all our Frederick Cnty school have their commencements! This class isn't too large so ceremony with the exception of the RAIN will be very nice. This is up in Paula's neck of the woods!
Oh, no, I feel so bad for Thelma. What a shame. Hugs going out to our Tbird .((( ))) Guess this was one of our prayers chains that didn't have the desired result...which must mean that the good Lord has something BETTER waiting for Thelma. But I know how disappointed she and you all are.
Ok Ladies...this old mare is signing off for the evening. Been working since 5 this am again...and a bit dreary-eyed...so will see you all tomorrow...creek dont rise! Nite to all
we will be at Mt. St Mary's on Saturday.....celebrating hubby's 40th reunion and sons' 10th reunion...son and friend from college are supposed to be manning the radio station Saturday night like they did when they were attending there.
Hello and So Long....time to get ready for work. Sorry for the disappointments of the day. T-Bird I hope as the others here do that a better opportunity awaits you....
Hope everyone has a Good Evening... June Showers Bring June Flowers... My Megan Flowers are loving the rain.
CONGRATULATIONS TO LITTLE EAGLET MATTIE FOR HER ACHIEVEMENTS AND AWARDS !
Cathedral ceilings and walls all vacuumed...except loft yet to do. Daughter just left--came to hold dog while I trimmed her nails. Phone calls received and over....gotta figure out a Dr. bill...and then time for some chow! STILL RAINING. Be careful if going out!
Well, Justin removed the poor little dead bird from the roof today and buried it. And, Megan, we finally got my hot lips planted! Thanks so much for that!
Wanda, I bought extension pieces from a catalog that total 18 ft. Just hook to vacuum cleaner. Don't remember what catalog, but maybe Home Improvement or Home Trends---something like that!
I hear Hidey again. She must be hungry and no one will bring her any more food. Where's that mom and dad of hers??? Anybody out there on Myspace? I'm not on facebook, only myspace.
plans right now Paula, are to return to town tomorrow and come back down next Thursday.......but I'm flexible, jubby is leaving on his golf trip this coming Tuesday...and taking my car...:(, and I thought my nephew was coming in the weekend after next....so long answer, just don't know, will watch weather....
this Saturday, Paula...turn on your radio Sat. night and you will hear the Kevin and Nick show..have forgotten MSM call letters.....off to fix dinner...bbl
Wanda, glad you saw what I posted for Kimm. After I posted that I thought, gee, maybe I should not be volunteering Wanda like that. LOL But then, I know you enjoy going to the nest and you are so nice to people who just drop in on you! ☺
06/04/09: We believe that these photos show two chicks have hatched: Photo 1 and Photo 2. But we're going to get confirmation from the Refuge staff on Friday. The third is due June 7.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: I'll be traveling until Sunday and might be delayed in posting the newest photos.
I have been digging through pictures tonight trying to find one color picture of my dad in his dress uniform, no luck. He was always the one with the camera in his hand. Oh, well I had lots of fun going through the old pictures tonight and did find a few that they don't have in CA.
Deb, when my Dad died, I had the same problem, there were very few pictures of him other than his service pictures, he was always behind the camera in the family pics.
Megan, I have a rubbermaid tote full of pictures, most of them he was behind the camera. I did find some good ones they didn't have in CA. I also found the obituary from my great grandmother on my dad's side of the family. I have been looking for that all winter. I want to see what I can find out about that branch of the family.
Deb - You must have gotten your picture taking skills from your Dad.
I know what you mean about looking for a photo. We were trying to find one of my Mom...she hated having her picture taken...plus she was always talking, so the pictures aren't that great! My brother finally found a good one from his 2nd wedding...it was older, but a really nice pic. I had him make a bunch of copies for me. I am going to put the pic and one of the roses (I dried and flattened them) from the memorial in a frame for each of the kids, grandkids and g-grandkids. I'll give them to everyone the day we put her in Arlington with my Dad.
Deb, when you have time and IF you wouldn't mind sharing, I would love to see the obit for your great-grandmother. With all of my genealogy work, I just am really interested in those "pioneers"!
Boy, I know what you mean about looking through old photos. When my Dad passed last year we went through a ton of them I was surprised how many photos of him in uniform from WWII he had that I had never seen. There were also many of hime and my Mom. It was nice to see them like I remembered them from my childhood. I need to take more photographs of people and not just nature. ☺
That is a wonderful idea, Paula. It will be a special gift for them to treasure.
I found one picture of my dad is his uniform with my sister's and me in it. I am pretty sure it was when we were at Fort Sill. I want to take it in and see what they can do with it at the camera shop, It is one of those old pictures that isn't very big.
I am trying it now, Lynn, to see if it comes out big enough. I was disappointed when I read it to my sister, no maiden name. She had just found the marriage certificate, so I will have to get a copy of that when I am in CA.
Talkking about your dads and pictures brought tears to my eyes. I lost my daddy 40 years ago. I was 25 and it was sudden. It was the day Michael turned 10 months old, so my children never knew my daddy.
Getting in late everyone but wanted to say Deb as I told you in the e-mail they say time heals but it always hurts a little because we miss them. Our dad has been gone 24 years in May.
Cool, Deb. TY!!! Good Scandinavian stock, judging by the names. My maternal grandma's father was named Edwin, too! His family hailed from Strawtown, Ind., but were settled in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area.
Me, too, Lolly....I was 20, my daddy was only 50....not sudden, as he had been in hospital for 6 wks. with bleeding ulcers....and he basically ended up bleeding to death....but I had never known anyone who died...it was very hard....it will be 40 yrs. come Jan.
I am going to say good night as well. Getting up and heading out early to mow. Jack and I will be giving the yard a good going over, then coming in and doing the same to the house. Back yard party Saturday!
Hedgie - we decided to wait and intern my Mom with my Dad on the date he was interned. We wanted to do it on their anniversary, but I don't think they do it on Sundays. I have to call and see if we can get that date...in fact, I've had the number all week, but haven't called. Hopefully I can call them tomorrow. After the ceremony, we are all going to go out and eat crabs. My mother loved them, and introduced blue crabs to my Dad, us kids, and most of his family, and even a lot of friends and our neighbors!
Deb - we have had a wonderful time going through all the pictures. Some of them we had never seen before, especially the ones from my Dad in the Air Force and his old yearbooks and such.
Well, I have been blocked off from the world this evening as the internet in my area was down for a while. Going to bed now. Hope all is well with everybody.
Good night and sweet eagle dreams, my friends of fine feathers and fur! Love ya!
Hi, everybody, I'm finally back-- have been trying to catch up on the blog. Guess what! I'm puppy sitting for my SIL & BIL while they're in Texas visiting my nephew. 'Jake' is their newest English Bulldog, and he's adorable! He's a snuggler and a kisser, and such a good boy! Will try to get a good picture of him to show you guys. Hey, it's still raining at the nest! Is that Hidey between 2 and 3:00? Spidey looks a bit soggy, too. BTW, SoCal has a 50% chance of rain tomorrow, too!
CONGRATULATIONS, BOB!!!! That's a fantastic picture-- love the perspective. No wonder it won! Good job!!!
Thelma, so sorry about the job! I sure understand how that is-- I've been looking myself for over a year. Don't let it get you down, though-- I'm sure a much better one is on the way! The Lord knows which job He wants you to have, and as scripture says, "What we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory to be revealed." You hang in there!
Well, I'll check back in a few-- a certain puppy wants some attention! Prayers being said for all our needs, for healing where needed, for everyone's safety, thanks for all our many blessings, and for our friendship, which means so much. :o]
Good morning, middle of the night, whatever it is!! Trying to get the day in earlier so we can get to the camper. I see an empty nest this morning, I think.
Can't open live feed, bummer... didn't ever bookmark the site info so guess I just have to wait and wait and wait and wait while that connecting circle goes around and around and around :(
I have a sneakin' feeling I am not the only having trouble opening up the sites today.
I know I am way behind on posts...had a quick look at the nice comments about photographs and family memories...look forward to catching up on all the "Family News" on here but it's going to have to wait, got to sleep..

OUt went Lib....left the fish at 3ish
This blog acting wierd....
Funny Dana! Not the answer I expected.
Paula afer it growled at me.
Then it made this sound After it growled it made this sound
The turtle is right above the stick, that is pointing from noon to 3,,,it's also touching the fish.
Kewl.
Musical Desk time....catch ya'll later!
As for the fox here is another sound it made
This was it's cry
Dana, have you ever heard the blood curdling scream that fox sometimes make? It's make the hair stand up on the back of your neck!
Yes Lynne2 I have..it will bring you straight up out of the bed.
I hear Hidey but do not see him.
Kimm..........Costume Lady is Wanda. She lives very close to the nest. Look for Costume Lady. Have not seen her on today.
Who knows the age of the OK eaglet? Isn't it very close to Hidey? OK eaglet looks ready to fledge.
Hatched March 21st Lolly
Thanks, Dana. A week younger than Hidey.
Leaving to run errands.
BBL
By the time I get a few things done around the house, read the blog and eat lunch, it is always about time to head back to work.
Bob, wonderful pictures. Thanks for the info on the fox's eye, I was going to ask!
There are still 4 Kestrel in the nest box today. Another should be about ready to take off any time now.
The WW Osprey cam is down, the site does confirm two hatches so far.
Some eagle is by the cam.
What a nice hummingbird story, probably thought your mom was the parent!
(All that personality in such a tiny package!)
woo-hoo for Mattie
Wow, Lynn! What a neat idea-- hafta buy a jar of baby food and try it!
Andrea, I would recommend the Dutch Apple Dessert baby food!
Raining at nest.
Thanks for your comments on Mattie's school ceremony. Tell Mattie she has mail!
Kimm I can't help you there gal. My daughter always comes in through Washington and gets her rental. Sorry no help here.
Yeah, Lynn, you've got the right idea! I like the Dutch Apple, too-- yum! Believe me, it won't go to waste-- more likely, to WAIST! LOL
Oh, well it's for a good cause...

Eating Eaglet Alert In
Our Nest
WOW, HIDEY IN THE NEST!!!!!!!! I just stepped away for a second to get some lunch, and missed the landing! Dig into that fish, Hidey!
Can someone tell me whether Hidey brought the fish, or if it's nestovers?
Now, I have been fighting this cat for 2 days and couldn't trap it. Justin gets on here and has already trapped it twice. Slick little feller.
I'm not sure! Didn't see Hidey come into nest.
Hidey was very very quiet this time!
Hmmm... could it be that Hidey's learning to fish? He's usually VERY vocal, but if he caught the fish, he might not want to broadcast the fact that he has it!
Hidey slipped in on us---heard no noise of his/her coming.
Sharon, I just give up on the cat. I get way too stressed trying to do that sort of thing. Not good for the blood pressure! :o[
POOF Went Hidey
Oops-- yep, I thought I heard a takeoff! That fish sure didn't last long, did it? The way Hidey eats, I think he's a teenage BOY!
::sigh::
I did see Hidey fly in but I don't think he/she brought any food. Came in at about 2 o'clock position.
Kimm you have to get your baggage first and take a shuttle to the rental car place. The shuttle is free.
Lake WA - both adult in nest out on the Limb while eaglets nap (not visible behind the tree tunk)
WW Osprey cam is frozen from 2am today.

Sorry to hear the news about job Thelma wanted. Thelma one door closes but God opens another door. Praying that this door will even be better for you.
The Hummingbird chick must have just been branching yesterday.
It's back on the nest most of the time yet. AND it still appears to have some fluff hanging off of it, which they don't when they fledge.

Lun Lun and Luney are in the hammock, and he appears to be nursing.
They close the cam in a couple of minutes, so.....

Hey to all. Have been catching up on the comments. There are turkeys now in the PA woods.
Have a SAFE ONE MARGY --- watch out for them "bears".
Okay, out the door.
It's Friday in 6 and a half hours.
Try to find some RED to wear Friday, in honor of our Military Folks...
I have mine on now....
See you tomorrow...

Cathedral ceilings and walls all vacuumed...except loft yet to do. Daughter just left--came to hold dog while I trimmed her nails. Phone calls received and over....gotta figure out a Dr. bill...and then time for some chow! STILL RAINING. Be careful if going out!
Lynn, how do you vacuum your cathedral ceiling. I have nothing in the house that is long enough to do that. I don't do well with ladders;(
Kimm, I would be happy to go to the nest with you. Just email me about the day and time:)
Go to my profile for email address.
Sharon, prey tell....what are Hot Lips (beside the Margaret Hoolihan kind!)?:
And here's Hidey!!
You are welcome, Sharon:)
Hidey is home. Must be supper time! Love that bird!
I gave Sharon an ornamental salvia plant, it is a variety called 'Hot Lips'.
working on that turtle shell.
Looks like Hidey is munching on leftover turtle.
I wondered who would ask what hot lips are first! :)
think he wants to throw it out of the nest
Poor Hidey there is nothing left in that turtle shell
Mits I thought that over the side it goes. Jo could send someone to get it.
Hidey went to get something to eat.
And she's off again!
I was really thinking shell was going over the side.
Mema Jo, there is your turtle shell. Hidey, could you throw it overboard please??
He is going to eat the mic
he did not go far.
I hear Hidey!
I too hear Hidey
If they are "hot lips". Are they red like red lipstick?
Mits, are you headed up this way next weekend?
LOL, Hedgie, almost forgot about Hot Lips Houlihan. Used to love watching M*A*S*H
Thanks, Megan...know salvia...had never heard the variety! LOL, Sharon...me, of course! A gardener I am NOT!
Salvia microphylla- 'Hot Lips' Usually the flowers are white with red 'lips', sometimes they bloom all red.
I know Hidey is up there. Poop came down
I hear Hidey again. She must be hungry and no one will bring her any more food. Where's that mom and dad of hers??? Anybody out there on Myspace? I'm not on facebook, only myspace.
Aww. He is calling mom or dad. He is hungry.
Way to go, Mattie!!
Kimm - don't forget your camera if you are going to visit the nest...and binocs, too. I'm sure you have a nice camera :)
Still hearing Hidey
Don't forget, the West End nest banding is tomorrow.
You can get to the cam thru www.iws.org...click on interactive, then eagle nest cam.

Oh Cool, Ricky. A poop shoot from above.
Poor Hidey, just like a teenager...he only ate a couple of hours ago, now he's starving again :)

Mits - I was talking about the reunion...is that this weekend or next?
this Saturday, Paula...turn on your radio Sat. night and you will hear the Kevin and Nick show..have forgotten MSM call letters.....off to fix dinner...bbl

Thanks Paula interesting....blab bad webcam.
Louder now.
I think the rain has stopped...looks brighter, too
Dana, loved your fox story. How old was she when you found her and when you released her?
Sounds like Hidey shrieking over a fish ... but not in the nest
If we hadn't heard him making that sound from the nest, we would think he was in terrible trouble!
I thought the same thing, Paula. One of the parents have food and Hidey wants it..or may be mantling it:)
Sounds like he is being fed.
Raining again. No sign of Lib, Belle or Hidey. Peeping has stopped....would think Hidey is eating or being fed off cam.
LOL, can hear him again...probably wants more!
Wanda, glad you saw what I posted for Kimm. After I posted that I thought, gee, maybe I should not be volunteering Wanda like that. LOL But then, I know you enjoy going to the nest and you are so nice to people who just drop in on you! ☺
BWO update
06/04/09:
We believe that these photos show two chicks have hatched: Photo 1 and Photo 2. But we're going to get confirmation from the Refuge staff on Friday. The third is due June 7.

Note: I'll be traveling until Sunday and might be delayed in posting the newest photos.

good night everyone:)
You can all stop praying for me now.
I won first prize!!!!
I won, I won, I won!!!!
It was not for the Viewer Choice photo though. It was for this one:
The Winner!
Thank you all for your support and thoughts.
I think Hidey is perched at 2 o'clock? i thought i saw his eye but maybe it was a car down on the road...
I have been digging through pictures tonight trying to find one color picture of my dad in his dress uniform, no luck. He was always the one with the camera in his hand. Oh, well I had lots of fun going through the old pictures tonight and did find a few that they don't have in CA.
I'm out of here for the night. Doesn't Hidey know that she has a curfew time? She likes to stay out late! Sweet dreams to all. Talk tomorrow.
definitely a car's headlights. not Hidey
Bob, I can see why you won with that picture, it is beautiful! You can still win the other one, too, can't you?
The WW Osprey chicks are growing already! I wish Mom Osprey would move so I can see under her.
Yay, Bob! That is such a pretty picture...I love that lighthouse. What contest did you win with that one?
Wow, Bob, congratulations again! That is a great picture.
MT nest tonight!
BBL, gotta go get some stuff done!
Deb, when my Dad died, I had the same problem, there were very few pictures of him other than his service pictures, he was always behind the camera in the family pics.
It was the same CBF contest. I had submitted three pictures and they picked the lighthouse as the overall winner.
Yippee, Bob!!!! Congratulations AGAIN! That's a lovely shot, too! I love the Thomas Point light....you're two for two for CBF!!!! Wonderful!
Paula, I didn't realize that you hadn't had your Mom's interment yet. I'm so sorry that you, too, are having to wait so long. Do you have a date yet?
I am trying it now, Lynn, to see if it comes out big enough. I was disappointed when I read it to my sister, no maiden name. She had just found the marriage certificate, so I will have to get a copy of that when I am in CA.
Lynn, I put it on the Magazine article page.
i miss hidey!
Good night all!
Talkking about your dads and pictures brought tears to my eyes. I lost my daddy 40 years ago. I was 25 and it was sudden. It was the day Michael turned 10 months old, so my children never knew my daddy.
Lolly, when I was going through the pictures, I was remembering all the good times we had growing up. Old pictures have such wonderful memories.
Night, Bob!
Paula, I got my love of photography from my dad. He got his love of nature from me. Something wonderful for both of us.
I am off to read. Night all.
Graduation service was very nice. Small class so it only lasted a little over an hour with the speakers & music.
Rained all the way up and all the way home but I doubt the graduates even noticed!
So much news on here today..
Congratulations Bob! Thomas Point is one of my favorites (at least the closest to me) Great Pic!
I am calling it a day ..
Good Night All
Prayers for all
((hugs)) for all
♥
Getting in late everyone but wanted to say Deb as I told you in the e-mail they say time heals but it always hurts a little because we miss them. Our dad has been gone 24 years in May.
Bob WOW. We told you that you were great. Congrats.
Good night all. Pleasant dreams.
Cool, Deb. TY!!! Good Scandinavian stock, judging by the names. My maternal grandma's father was named Edwin, too! His family hailed from Strawtown, Ind., but were settled in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area.
Me, too, Lolly....I was 20, my daddy was only 50....not sudden, as he had been in hospital for 6 wks. with bleeding ulcers....and he basically ended up bleeding to death....but I had never known anyone who died...it was very hard....it will be 40 yrs. come Jan.
Going to say goodnight, too...early morning...retiree breakfast. Good night to snuggle under the electric blankie! Peace, prayers, and hugs for all.
BTW...birdluvr...Hidey will be back...he's not gone for good yet! Welcome.
I am going to say good night as well. Getting up and heading out early to mow. Jack and I will be giving the yard a good going over, then coming in and doing the same to the house. Back yard party Saturday!
Oh! Forgot!
Sweet dreams!
Love ya!
And my Dad's name was Edwin too!
Gnite, all.
Hugs to all ♥
We love you too, Sharon:) Tell Mattie to look for an email from me.
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS FOR ALL
Hi, everybody, I'm finally back-- have been trying to catch up on the blog.
I am back. I knew I forgot to say Congratulations to Mattie!! You should be so proud of yourself for all your achievements this year!
Good morning, middle of the night, whatever it is!! Trying to get the day in earlier so we can get to the camper. I see an empty nest this morning, I think.
Thanks for all the well wishes for our Mattie. Her star really shone yesterday, she was bursting with pride up there on that stage!!
I can hear Hidey, she must be on a branch above the nest.
Hear a parent up there too. They must be planning their day! :)
There she is!! She just flops down in that nest sometimes!!
There Hidey is!
Yesterday was the first time I saw Hidey take off from the nest...
This morning go to see her Drop In.
Yeah Hidey.
Good morning everyone...Hi Sissy!
Good morning Lori!!
Well, I reckon I missed the take off. That was a fast visit!
I missed it too. Didn't take long to find there was no breakfast yet.
