News from Bryn Mawr. Nakeya, the PT, had Mason standing, (they use a frame to help) straight up! He was supporting himself and they freaked a bit because they didn't realize how tall he is. He's usually hunched over a bit. Mason also let out a nice clear " Hello".

Quickest way for me to refresh is to switch to still cam off the live cam page, and then back to live cam off the still cam page, that way if there is a good screen grab I can accomlish both things at once.

Out TV weatherman is saying we will have a few inches of snow on Monday. I don't have much faith in that yet. Normally they have problems forcasting 1 day ahead. lol

Margy, heard earlier that Mike Johnston, with CTPD, has a recurrence of his brain cancer. Do you know him, or of him? He had been on desk duty after his treatment was completed.
you will have to take pics for us, Red.....usually in the mid-Atlantic region our biggest snowstorms come from the moisture coming up from the south...so make sure it passes to you east and keeps going

Darn, I was all excited and thought, 266 comments, eagle in the nest, there must be an egg. I see we are still waiting.
If it is Belle, I hope she turns and has her head up closer to the barrier on the edge of the nest. Seems as though the egg well is a bit closer to the edge of
the nest this year.

Oh Deb with anticipation I will say that
it could be yet today (5hr24min to go) or tomorrow or even Feb 1! We were never sure about last year if it were Feb 1 or 2 or 3 since our cam was down.
It is just a matter of one of us looking at just the right time that we'll know.
If I remember right from last year we should see a slight rocking motion once she starts getting serious. I'll do some searching.

I know they go through a rocking motion at the egg is expelled. Loraine at Kent has described it many times. And yes they are exhausted afterwards too.

Good Evening Dave. When things slow down at the cams we always are looking for other things to watch. Red and Mits got us started watching BigRigTravels and our driver is now in Cincinnati, OH & is headed to Denver, CO. His cam is right up front and we fly down the highways and go into truck stops!

I keep watching the leaves off to the left of the nest to see that they have movement so I know it hasn't frozen.
I would suggest that instead of hitting the F5 refresh - open a new window & bring up the site.... guess that wouldn't help, Deb, it you're recording.
Saw a good side view of eagle & then almost looked like tenting. Head is back for nitey-nite, so guess she was just spreading wing a little to bury nose.
I tried to get pop-up & it was a no show so clicked it off and ALL of IE closed!
Gotta put cams back up. I have little & then no sound too.
Every once in awhile if nothing has happened, I stop delete what I have recorded and start over. Then I refresh, I have 2 pop ups open.
I just put up a new window - sound of the wind is there...
My sound is pretty good, not the best but better than nothing. I hear barking sounds and wind.
Looks like head is not back anymore.

One with Live Feed and the
other with Still Cam (in case I get a pic with date & time)

I don't think egg laying is a quick process. Sometimes take an hour of rocking. She may lay one tonight but don't think one is there yet.
