I think we have to give in to the fact that WINTER IS HERE! And, enjoy each day that it is over 45° to the fullest. Someday, I would like to spend the Winter months in a warmer climate. That is what a Motor Home is for, but I couldn't leave my family.

My Mom & Dad used to spend the coldest Winter months is Florida and I missed tham sooo much.

No Norma, I have not always lived in Alabama. However I was born and raised here but left when I was 17. Have lived in AL,TX,LA,CA,KA,MO,CO,MI,TN and spent 11 years in Canada. Now I'm home again. Yes Northeast Al is beautiful
I think most of you know now that Both Tesoro and Cape Coral are nesting Because of the camera angle of course we can't see the eggs or how many. Cape Coral first hatch date on or about Jan 6. Hatch date for Tesoro oh my are we ever all hoping for a hatch for Tesoro is Jan 11. You can see soem gorgeous pictures of the Tesoro pair here if you haven't alread seen them

DANA, Good Morning. At the Outbaack,my Mom and I ordered steamed and broiled lobster. The steamed was tastless and the broiled was over-seasoned with someting spicey hot and very salty.
Wild rice....hard and nasty tasting. Gene had prime rib and crab cake. He said the rib was OK, but he has had much better. Crab cake was full of filler, but did have a nice taste. Bloomin Onion was greasy and coconut shrimp was too sweet. Boy do I sound Picky-Picky. But, you know, when your bill for 3 people on a Wed. night is over a hundred dollars, you expect perfection. We are so used to eating at buffets, where, if you don't like what is on your plate, you can discard it and get something else.
Yes, it's wonderful seeing the eagles on the BW nest. When the cam is off, you wonder if they're actually visiting. And now that it's back on, it's so good to see them there and ready for a new season.
ATLANTA---LUN LUN is up eating BAMBOO----But the 'LITTLE BEAUTY' is still snoozin' on her logs!!---

The PINK FLAMINGOS are in & out of the water at the NZOO!!---Some dark birds keep flying back & forth across the screen!!---They are such graceful beautiful birds!!

Hello All! I had Verizon DSL problem this early am (And I almost made it into the Early Bird Club) Then I had a 10am appointment and just got home & ate some lunch. Almost ready for a panda nap! lol

Hello WANDA znc JO. Just finished checking my email and thought I'd check out the blog. Haven't been able to get on much lately; pretty busy at school and fall asleep when I get home. I can't wait for Christmas break so I can be back on here with you all.
It has been just like spring down here this week. Odd weather we are having.
Glad to hear the BW eagles are back in their eagle nest. I'll have to find the time to turn the nests on when I go in tomorrow morning, so I can see too.
Hi Candy. We do miss you in the morning. It is going to get real interesting at the nest very soon!
WANDA The nest sure looks like they haave been busy with nestorations. Do they visit very often during the day or do they still come at the certain times?
Well, it is getting time to get myself ready for school tomorrow. I will probably try to get on in the morning, as I have most of my school work caught up.
It sure felt good to at least be able to get on for a second tonight. I was supposed to be to a PTA meeting, but, for once, didn't go. :)
You all take care and have a peaceful night, and I hope good weather. Tomorrow brings a new day.
CANDY, Lib & Belle haven't tied themselves down to a regular schedule for their visits yet. They had been coming in about 6:15 and then a few mornings went by and they didn't show at all. Then they come once or twice during the day. I guess they come when they don't have anything better to do. LOL

Well, anyway, good morning.
I glanced at the PixController site and there was a large, fat Raccoon feeding right in front of the camera.
Bai Yun and ZZ are cuddled up side by side like twins ... it's supposed to get down into the 30's tonight.
They are focusing on the many Yellow Weavers building their amazing nests in a thorn bush at Pete's Pond.

GOOD MORNING EAGLE WORLD AND ALL WATCHERS! Thought I would take a look at the nests before heading out to school this morning. Both ours and BWE are MT.
Birds at Pete's Pond are up and chirpping. It looks like they are still showing Jim's Yellow Weavers in their nest building.
Just checked into the Moose cam and they had some nice pics from previous visits; close up shots.
Bai and ZZ Squiggles are both still sleeping togetherk side by side, and all seems peaceful in the world so far this morning.
JIM, I hope you have gone back to bed and are sleeping now. SUZANNE you are missed another day, but better to stay home than to get in a wreck.
MITS Hope this trip to the doctors with your Mother brings better results. It had sounded so good there for awhile. You'll be in our prayers.
