Good morning! Wow, another new thrad. Love it! Thanks, Steve, and thanks Jo for the call over. Stick a feather in your cap!!!Cold but sunny here. Had to turn the sound down on the computer, so windy at the nest.We got five pics on our pond cam last night. Jack's elbow as he grilled our pork chops last night. the streamers of a wind sock set off another, another of a different angle when Jack took the cam down, one is all white, and the 5th of the pond but we do not see anything that triggered it. Hopefully we will do better. lol
And I meant thread not thrad. I have Texas accent but it is not that bad!!!!
WheeeeeeA Megan and a Jo, one Lolly, and a T-Birdall on the same New Thread !

Good Afternoon eaglebudlets THANKS FOR THE FRESH THREAD STEVE AND THE CALL OVER JO
Nice nap - snow is blowing around. Great News! Christine just called and they are home - Our family is blessed with a very normal 11 yr old young lady. Good is good all the time.I commend all of you for your Prayer Powers and Positive thoughts - you are all providing Miracles to so many. Love you much! ♥
Good afternoon my eagle budlets!
Wahooooo! Great news on Samantha! Now we just need to get Christine on the right road to wellness.I just had an interesting time. First I took a huge box of books, tapes, and kindergarten activities to the preschool at our church. THEN I took a school shirt to the school where I used to teach. They are in a new building and I have not entered an elementary since I walked out 13 years ago. Got a huge hug from the secretary..I taught her daughter, got a huge hug from the principal, we taught together and are friends, then they gave me a pass and said go visit. I visited with three teachers. Really surprised them all and had a great time. They also made me VERY HAPPY that I am retired. The school is awesome except for kinder. They are in much smaller rooms than I had. The other teachers are in larger rooms than they had before. It was interesting! Now back to more closet cleaning! On a roll!
Well hello there SharonBut It Feels Like a Brand New Day....after reading Jo's last post ☺ ♥
And I posted right after Lolly alsoWell, always good to know that you are still happy about retirementI am like that for two days every week on my days off Enjoy Your Days, Pals !!!back to the flour pile for me
Just walked by and see two eagles in the nest! Working on the egg cup.
The twirley thingy is horrible!
With the wind Belle is having a bad feather day. Well....so is Shep.
They are just sitting and looking around.
JUST WALKED IN TEH DOOR TO FIND TWO EAGLES
I just don't see the twirley thing as a normal thing I don't care what excuse they give its like not having a LIVE CAM like two still JMHO
getting ready to go get JOrdyn had to run to PO and bank and Library and they had no IRS forms yet
Thanks for the new thread. I wasn't expecting it and posted on the other thread. We got news! I am so thrilled. Apparently all the information is in already and the team met. I got an email from Dr. Bivalaqua from Hokins. They believe a nephrouretectomy (kidney and ureter removal) and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (removal of the lymph nodes) is the next course of action. OUT DAMN SPOT!!!
It is great news DANA and God Bless your DAD and MOM and the MEDICAL TEAM and YOU too. It sounds like a big surgery and I hope he has the strength to go through it all and I have him in my prayers. OUT DAMN SPOT OUT DAMN Spot...JO congratulations on the feather and on SAMANTHA news.MEGAN WOW what a joy to see MEGAN...47 days will do fine.SHAR was on here too today. Long absences SHAR!!! Good to see you.Wrote ANDY and email and I hope she answers soon. A bith worried and decided it is better to put her and her family in prayers.
JANET I love your avatar.Windy at the nest.Thank you for the reports, bad feather day or not I am surprised they made it in altogether...Beautiful day here and life is full of abundance and blessings.
Twirling away and does not have enough sense to know when to stop! I am dizzy. I will shut it down.
Good news from Jo too! What a great day!
I find out of habit I eat the same way I used to when I was at work!!! It has been ten years now and I change for short periods and then return to the old pattern. Tonight I will go to a course called "optimal eating" discusses food and health and quantities and how to combine foods to get the benefits. Sounds interesting to me. I look forward to it...
Happiness is "tuning" in to find there is a day of good, yea verily, wonderful news !So happy you spent the night in your own recliner at home, JO. Wonderful family news, too.DANA, so glad your dad's surgery is being scheduled. Out Damn Spot, indeed. Mega prayers are with you all !LOLLY, loved reading about your delightful return to the school and pleased that you enjoy retirement the same way I do !Tis' frightfully frigid here today, but it warmed my heart to have MEGAN's reminder that Spring is only 47 days away !HODA, you find the most interesting things to do ! Wish I had the energy you possess, but age seems to have me zapped ! Let us know what you learn about "optimal eating", please !Thanks to JUDY for all the Belle and Shep reports and pics ! We love your wonderful contributions to this blog !MARGY, the flour pile ? I'm missing something here ! Need to read back.Love and prayers for all ! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Good afternoon all! Sounds like this last day of January is turning out to be a good news day! First the word from Jo that Samantha is absolutely fine and has no thyroid problems. And second that Dana and her mom and dad got the news that surgery is an option! Dana, I know the thought of surgery is scary but the doctors wouldn't be recommending it if they didn't feel they could get all the cancer, so that is wonderful news!Lots of people posting about the twirling arrow on the live cam today. The live feed must be affected by all the wind at the nest - I had to mute the sound b/c it was so windy and loud!
Listen to that wind!!!
Oh my, I see we have 2 eagles in the nest!
Didn't see them arrive and didn't hear b/c I had the sound muted. Spinning arrow seems to have stopped temporarily!
Hey teamwork!! Both working together to reposition a large stick on the rails.
And Shep poofs to the tree.
Belle is digging in the cup area.
Now seeming to settle in.
And Shep is back with new grass. Almost landed on Belle!!
Color is gone from the nest.
Poof Shep again. Belle is watching him go.
I got a couple of pics for the album - will add them in a bit. Need to feed dogs and people then make the grocery list to head to the store after dinner.
Dang, I missed them again!
OK, I put the 3 pics I took in the album. Funny that, once the eagles landed, I didn't see the twirling arrow one time!
Evening, all.Back is starting to feel better. Heading out to see my sweetie.BBL
Jo, glad you got the feather!Hi Megan! Bye Megan! Thanks for sending an email to Andy, Hoda.DanaMO, good news on your Dad. When will they do the surgery?Hoping to hear from Lori soon.
Dinner is cooking. Jack ate out today so tonight is mac and cheese nite. Have a yummy recipe!
Getting ready to go... called Nick in...he had a gallon milk jug in his mouth, LOL! Treasure found in the yard...must have blown in.
JO - So happy you are settling in nicely, sleeping well and even have good news about your perfectly normal grand daughter, Samantha!!! Praise The Lord!! Hoping Christine will be on that surgery schedule soon!!DANA - Wonderful to know you have news and a plan regarding your Dad. They surely must feel the surgery is something he is a candidate for and it sounds very promising!! He could be cancer free!!! Hurray!!LORI - Wanting to hear from you on how your Dad is doing. Praying he is gaining strength, getting those necessary fluids and is back on the road to recovery.
LOLLY - Sounds like a great trip to the elementary school. You were obviously loved and missed there!! Says a lot about YOU!! Of course we knew that already!!HODA - Thanks for checking in on ANDY! It will be good to know how she is doing. Prayers all is well PAULA - Glad the back is getting better. Enjoy your time with your Sweetie!! SANDI - Thanks for the Eagle reporting this afternoon!
We went to a local restaurant's German Night with friends tonight. I don't think I have ever had German food before. It was good!! Fun to try new things!!
LOLLY - You have lots of yummy recipes!!
My delete. Keep getting blogger errors! Guess I'm blogging too much.....BBL
Off to explore "eating for optimal health" I will let you know KAY.I hope to hear from ANDY too if not I will ask LOLLY for ANDY'Shusband's name and phone information for the phone number. I am having a blank on his name right now and keep saying hubby! LOL!!! I ♥ us.
Hoda, it is KEN.Evening all!it may be 47 days til astrological spring, but it's only 29 days til meteorological spring!!
Had a nice evening with family
Well I'm calling it a day SED ♥AOYPSee ya in the am ☼ at Sycamore Sunrise Cyber CafeBless this Nestand all ♀ ♥ ♂ whom watch it at Sycamore Palace Healing thoughts forthose in need"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
Had a very nice evening - Ready for some shut eye. Don't forget to wear your red tomorrow for supporting our troops. Feeling well just tired. Love and prayers to all ♥
it seems to be an unlisted number Hoda....
heading to bed, good night, prayers for all. Will check in from work tomorrow if time allows.
Watched some tv, played some computer games, then watched the news. Heading to bed now. I is tired. Slow on here this evening.Prayers for Dana and Lori's dads. Has anyone heard from Lori?See you in the morning.Night all! SED!!
I'm hoping for word from LORI...bothers me that she hasn't been on here since she left in such a big hurry! Praying for good news for her DadSeems Dana's Dad has been put on the right path~Had GG to the dentist today...needs 1 root canal and 2 teeth pulled, in order to have a replacement bridge of 11 teeth. She can only eat soft foods for fear of the bridge pulling out. Have to take her to Hagerstown for the root canal and another dental surgeon to pull her teeth. Dr. Queen will make her bridgeGood Night dear friends, sweet dreams and prayers for all♥
Thanks LYNNE. Sorry to hear they are unlisted.Thinking of LORI and her DAD all day. No I have not heard from her LOLLY.Glad PAULA'S back is on the mend.Good class. Excellent meal. wonderful pointers. Don't eat anything that has a long shelf life. White Vinegar is not a food product it is a product of the pulp and paper industry. If it does not go moldy and if it keeps a long time in the fridge you do not want it either. 4 days maximum in the fridge! No to GMO and no to soy products...Organic peanut butter only!!! They spray the cotton fields heavily for three years and on the fourth they plant peanuts and say they did not spray!!!It has to say CERTIFIED ORGANIC and not only claim to be organic...lots of the stuff sold as organic is really not organic maybe 50 to 70 percent content is organic the rest is God knows what!!!If they have to wear a mask to spray it you do not want to eat it!!!Excellent menus she provided and nutritional content she gave us booklets.I think you would have enjoyed learning from it KAY
Good night, Hoda. Good night, everyone else. Need to get to sleep myself.Hoda, I hope you find Andy. It has been a long time since we heard from her. I was thinking her husband's name is Ken. Saw that Lynne remembered that, too. Hope that GG's dental work goes well, Wanda.Geese at the nest.
Good Snowy West Virginia Morning Eagle PalsHappy February, but most importantly: Happy Birthday Glo....May this be your Most Glorious Birthday,Ever ! xoxo ☺ ♥
School delays or closing in most of the West Virginia Countiestoday....DanaMo....hope NOT in your county !Ken and Andy have a cell phoneI believe, not a regularlandline...Hopefully, it is only an internet problem that we have not heard from them
Wanting to attend a classjust like the oneHoda mentions...It is hard to shop and eatwisely without the properknowledgeMust say the list of ingredientsin the Oatmeal Creme Piesis very long, chemicaland ....unlikable :(
Good morning or not....2 hour delay ruins teacher appreciation day for sure. Now we go til 3:00. Hate when that happens. Our principal wouldn't cancel it. Says we only have one snow day left bc of Sandy, when technically Sandy should not count against us because it was a state of emergency. Oh do disappointed.Mom wants more information on the surgery. I feel like she is going to drive me nuts. We wanted the surgery, now she wants to know if it is the right thing. I guess I'm all about trusting the experts. Without the surgery we have a greater risk of losing my dad (in my eyes). With the surgery we don't get any guarantees but it seems like doing something is better than doing nothing. Maybe I'm the one who is wrong. I just trust that the doctor would do what is best.
But I will probably eat a fewanywayThinking of ALL our friends whothemselves, or their loved onesare going through difficultmedical times.....or any other kinds of difficult things (( Healing Hugs Across the Miles ))
Sure was joyful to readthat Jo's Great grand-daughter Samantha isa perfectly Normal 11 year old; Happy Dance for sure about that!Jewels and I had somehappy tears about that oneyesterday at work ☺♥☺♥
I can hear the trees andleaves a'blowin' at the nestand see the wild snowflakes
OH, disappointment about schoolfor you, for sure, DanaMo :(I tend to agree with you, DanaMo,about trusing the doctors....it is very hard to know what to do,maybe some more answers and positive thoughts will come your way over the next few days.....(( Hugs ))
52 of the 55 WV counties have some sort of delay, or closing as of now
don't understand why Mercer County, Bluefield, is not mentionedbecause everything around them is closed
As Jo mentioned....RED FRIDAY today, put on some RED to honorour Soldiers.... God Bless Our Military,Every Day !
Good first day of February morning Dana and Margy and all my eagle friends!HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GLO!! HOPE TODAY IS "PICTURE PERFECT" FOR YOU!!Dana, sorry to hear that the 2-hour delay messes up your early end to Catholic Schools Week! The Amstel will still be there at 3pm!No snow here yet but it's in the forecast. Snow or no snow, I am staying at school today until I get ALL of my IEP updates completed (don't have report card grades to worry about but IEPs need to be updated each marking period). Kids have a 3-day weekend. I just want a 2-day one with no schoolwork to do!Special prayers for Lori's dad today, and for Lori and her mom!Make it a great day!
Go for it Sandi! You need your full two-dayweek-end!blooper....I mentioned hearing leaves a'blowin at the nest,DUH, the trees HAVE no leaves on them around the nest...Speaking of Organic:Megan's Flowers arecompletely that way!Nothing artificialor chemical whatsoever !That's part of what makesthem so Special !And her avatar! The Rufous Hummingbird that for thelast two years has been 'In-residence' -very rare for these parts
Dana, your mom may just need more time to absorb and process the news. I'm sure the idea of a major surgery at your dad's age is scary for her and that may be the first thing she thinks about. Once she has a little time to think about the risks of the surgery versus the ramifications of not having surgery, she may feel differently. Tough spot for you to be in, trying to be supportive of both of them.
Doing the rest of the MorningShuffle now here... Best Wishes fora Good, Safe, Healthy Day for All xoxo ♥
OkayMercer County/Bluefield is NOW on the list of Schools Closed...I-81 hereabouts Iced up with mulitple wrecks...
EAGLE!! Looks like Belle! Now both and HP!
TGIF/RED FRIDAY...happy day to all.HODA: thanks. I like the pix as well :)SNOW DAY IN NASHVILLE! We have a crust of snow out there. It was 42 when I went to bed @ 9:45 last night, got up @ 5 and it is 18, clear skies and crunchy snow.....only 1/2 inch maybe? pretty though.Yesterday was a busy day. It was nice coming home, in the 40's and sunny. I took the dogs out to the back yard.....throwing the ball for Scout. It was fun. No school here today. First snow day of the season. :) Livvy will be happy.Nothing much else going on. Busy weekend ahead; groceries, Reiki share....who knows from there....but in the 40's so not as cold. I slept better last night, so I feel human this morning.....DANAMO: keeping you and your family close in my heart....(((HUGS))))Everyone have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIght, love, healing, and hugs to all.
Wow, Shep landed right on her and got busy! No twirling arrow to block any of the action!!
No time to get a pic of the eagle action - literally, Shep landed in the nest on top of Belle!!
Boy is it wild and windy at the nest! Had to turn the volume down again this morning! Both eagles are digging in the cup area.
Ya know how we women hate to sit down on a cold toilet seat? Imagine what Miss Belle must be thinking about the possibility of laying an egg in that cold, snowy nest!
OK, I have got to scoot and get ready for my day (don't have to be at school as early today but DO have to get out of my jammies!) Hate to walk away with both in the nest!Later!!
SANDI: I just had a good chuckle out of your sitting on the snowy nest comment! YOUCH! COLD! maybe I'll think twice about my complaints, now. lol. :)
So true Sandi.Well I missed them again. Not a good record! LOL! Looks like they melted some of the snow.
Good morning my fine friends.
Good Birthday Morning to our Beloved Friend Glo Snow covered this morning - PeacefulShep in the nest! All is well with the eagle world.Slept well and now for the meds....I love us! ♥

Happy Birthday, Glo. Wishing you a really wonderful day today.Thinking of DanaMo and Lori and their families. So comforting to see Mema Jo back on the blog and saying she's feeling rested. Speaking of Jo, Sandperson told me she is one serious sleeper.Wishing everyone a good day.
Hi Judie !This part of "everyone" wishes you a good day also !
Happy Great Wolf Lodging-ItJack and Lolly....I think my feeble memory tells me it is this week-endBirthday Fun for Zach and the Whole Family ☺
Good morning! Yes, today Zacharooski is 7!!!! He has a bowling party with friends and then we all meet tomorrow afternoon at Great Wolf Lodge. The two families are spending the night and water parking Sunday morning, too, but Jack and I will head on home. A few hours of water play tomorrow afternoon will be enough for us!
I got on fb and was reading about the snow. Was dreading opening up the cam, but was happy to see the snow covered with flugg. It is that time....let's get on with the egg laying!!!
Wanda, so sorry about GG's tooth problems. Not fun!
HODA, last night I searched for Andy's phone number, but could not find it. I sent her an email message too and have not heard back from her.
Today I must give myself a pedicure! Can not go to Great Wolf with naked toenails. Right, Wanda? I hate to admit it, but in the winter I let them go natural. lol Reminded Laurel! She laughed and said she had thought of that.
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR GLO! HOPE SHE HAS A GLORIOUS DAY WATCHING EAGLES!
Good morning!Wow, you all are right about the wind at the nest. And I see a bit of snow there. It looks very cold.No snow here. Sunny and cold. I have not ventured out yet. Will be joining Kathryn and one of her friends for lunch later. She has enjoyed the time off between jobs.
Dana, what a way to be appreciated!! You did say "Teacher Appreciation Day" I believe. Just keep remembering that it is Friday.
I agree with Sandi about your mom. Maybe she just needs a bit more time to adjust.
Happy birthday, Glo!
