Good morning everyone! I can't believe I was first, after all this time LOL I will call folks over...ANYway...I've been dealing with a headache for about 36 hours now, it is lessening and hopefully I can function well enough to go to the shop today. Miss Lily has been taking good care of me, lots of snuggles and kisses.Still haven't seen the eagles, I keep missing them apparently. I see a nice bowl in the fluff, hopefully that means they're getting closer to laying. I do wish she would put it in the center instead of near the side - I guess that's partly my Virgo nature and partly my overprotectiveness of "our" chicks!I am sending positive thoughts to all who need it today. So many people dealing with health issues of their own or their loved ones...I'd love to have a day when all of us can say "Today, I am well and so is my family!"Hope to see more pictures of our eagles on FB! Still your very ownBird Girl
Congratulations Delphia !Thanks Steve for the fresh new thread.Hello Sharon - I haven't been over on the older threadYesterday did start out as a Good Morning but it didn't last longBoth of my granddaughters are still in the hospitalNo new baby yet and Dr will break the water soon so we areall praying this will help Sam doesn't want a C section and this is her second child!Christine is saying "Why me?!?!?! I just wanna go home:(. " She is starving - she has been there since the 18th - I think they are to do the repair today from the first surgery to remove the obstruction - send her home and reschedule her gallbladder removal.I'll keep you posted.........
Good morning! Thanks for the new thread, Steve. Thanks for the call-over, Delphia.Hoping for a better day for Christine and a baby for Sam. Also hoping for an apartment for Lynne and Steve.
Have had a busy time here. Will suffered a serious burn on his wrist night before last. He and I spent a good part of the wee hours in the emergency room and were concerned that he might have to have a skin graft. A visit to a plastic surgeon yesterday revealed that things are not so bad. He just needs to heal.
Wow Shirley - always the unexpected!I did go to the dr yesterday for this head cold with horrible coughing -Did not sleep too much! Received meds and sure hope it leaves in another day or two. Tomorrow is my day to get lung CT reportIt will be whatever it is.... Not worried sorta - Yep I am human and Yep I trust the Lord butttttttt MTBR
Prayers and good thoughts for you, Jo. I know you will keep us informed.
Good morning! I see two eagles in the nest!
I think there may have been hp...did not see it but heard it! Had the blog up but reduced.
Well not as cold here today. It is already 16 degrees but back to -3 tonight. That is fine with me. I am hearing the eagles are much more active in and around the dams as river is starting to freeze over in spots away for those areas. My prayer list is long and my belief in BOTH the value of prayer and more importantly the One who hears and answers is strong. Believing there will be good news tonight. So much need here still. I am going to the dam for a little while this afternoon. Light is poor and no sun so I think I will leave Dex at home. This will shorten how long I am able to stay but he will be warm and most likely nap at home while I shiver and hopefully get some pictures. Catch you all later.
They are doing nestorations...Shep is working on the egg cup...wiggle wiggle!
Poof Belle!Poof Shep!
Shep is back!
He is just hanging out in the middle of the nest...looking around.
Shep poofed....Have been catching up on the blog.Laurel is home today with Jacob...he is stuffy and has a sore throat, no fever. I am on alert to boysit.
Two in the nest again.
Shep poofed. Belle sitting in the egg cup.
And there they both are!
Shep returned! Nestorations.
I clicked back on the nest when I heard eagle chirps.
My cam starts and stops all the time. Drives me nuts.

Hi all - home from school to find a new thread. Thanks Steve and thanks, Delphia, for the call over. Was hoping to read news of Rebecca's grand entrance. Sounds like she's going to be a force to reckon with - doing things her own way before she's even born!! =)Jo, sorry for the complications and delays with Christine's surgery. I hope the doctors can get her feeling comfortable until they can remove her gallbladder.Lynne, weather forecast has moved the snow sooner (Thursday night rather than Friday). Guess I'll crank up the snow candle again tomorrow. If it doesn't work this time, I'll know for sure that it's time to buy a new one.Saw 6 deer in the back yard of my neighbor's house as I left for work this morning. Saw the same 6 deer in the next yard over as I was driving home. You know how, when you see a deer cross the street, you had better stop the car b/c there are probably more to come? That's exactly what happened both times!Off to a doctor appointment. Will check in later but will end up missing our eagles' evening visit. Shouldn't be too much longer before we see an eagle in the nest all the time!!Later!
Mid afternoon check in....(you can always tell when i have a day off, can't you???)50 and sunny here. Quite a nice day! SUpposedly we are getting some snow/sleet/ice (who knows) tomrorow night. we shall see.well i have a new addiction. went to sonics...had a mocha/caramel java chiller. oh my. won't get them very often (can you say calories boys and girls???? So far have managed to read today's thread...So happy the eagles are both nest-orating. /won't let me type that as one word.It is FREEZING here! 11 below this morning! We just got home from the hospital a few hours ago. Dad came home with a catheter still in and is still incredibly sore and moving slowly, getting used to the bag - or trying to. He's on painkillers and sleeping at the moment while Mom has run out to the store to get his prescriptions filled.Prayers for your report tomorrow JO! And for your GD's... SHIRLEY, hope WILL's hand heals quickly....DANAM, how is your Dad doing?Gosh, I just love you all so much... I missed YOU! I love US!

Hi Judy! Did she arrive with food or was it already in the nest? Not sure.
SHE ARRIVED WITH IT
WOW TOUGH WHAT EVER IT IS SHE IS TUGGING BIG TIME
Doesn't look like a fish - kinda looked oval shaped when she dragged it from the edge of the nest. maybe a turtle in a shell?
LOOKS REALLY DARK AT THE NEST IS IT GUYS THAT LIVE UP THERE
I THINK YOU ARE CORRECT LOOKS LIKE A SHELL
I was surprised when she flew in this late
Judy, it's almost completely dark here in Bethany but the moon is out and almost full. Not sure how cloudy it is in WV.
our sun is just about ready to set now
LORI would always tell us sunset and sunrise
5:46 she landed over 15min eating this turtle under the cover of the night hiding it from Shep LOL
Miss Belle is still in the nest and tearing up that turtle
I have grabbed some pic tooo
WOW she has a big piece of meat now
Judy, I think I see fur flying every once in a while - wondering now if this is something else besides turtle?
Whatever it is, she must have been hungry and she doesn't look like she's planning to leave any of it in the nest for later!
it is a turtle she just had the shell part hanging from her beak i snip a pic of it
I don't know I thought it looked rounded
wow that is some big chunks of whatever it is
I do have the cam running I was hoping that Shep would hop in and make his way with her LOL
wow that was a big gulp piece
Holy cannoli! Don't think I've ever seen an eagle eat that big a piece of anything!!!
looked like it almost choked her did you see it?
oh I see you did LOL
Whatever it was, it's GONE now! No shell so ...
wasn't a turtle I see no shell and no nestovers
we are osting the same thing at the same time LOL
That was one HUNGRY eagle! Now one FULL eagle!!!And poof!
I am gonna go edit the clip I did I want the last part of her eating that big peice and some of the other BBIALW
Well Judy, guess it was just you and me who saw that!! Now it's time for the people and pets here to have some dinner!Later!
I am uploading two short video now I edited them down just to when she arrived 2 min and at the end to where she was shoving what ever it was down her gullet what a pic piece that was I am debating in combing them to one video I love the new edit feature on YouTube it would be a little over 4 min we will see I guess I love that feature I did the 2 slide and merrygoround video with Jordyns last week

3 hrs ago from Samantha -Took a good nap then went on our hr walk to try and let gravity help a bit getting ready to get hooked back in and get more meds soonThey have not broken her water yet -I am so in favor of natural births
Sounds good that Belle was eating like a pig - eggs could be getting ready and she needs to be well fed to perform! ♥
There are two video on my blog nest video off course the first one is just the frist 2 min of her visit and the second is about the last 2 min of her visit THIS ONE IS THE ONE WHERE SHE had a big peice of meat and SANDI and I were amazed how she got it down This evening after dark visit by Belle and her eating something after dark

Sounds like an exciting day at the nest....Thanks for the reports, Every One
I have not read back and will do so after I check in.Very busy day and yet I accomplished a lot. I attended meetings and now we have a Children's Festival Craft and Tea Party on the 9th of February. I will decorate cookies with 2 to 12 year olds. That should be lots of fun!I had to get approval from The Stephen Lewis Foundation in Ottawa and they were awesome. A bit of phone tag but they answered and they approved what I had written about the event after the meeting and they gave their blessing and were very pleasant to deal with.I contacted the local press and TV outlets so they could advertise it for us and I also placed it on online community calendars. Now it is time to have tea. I did go to yoga in between all that and had a terrific class where I felt there was improvement.I am like a little kid I like to be told I am doing something well and that there is an improvement. This happened twice today. My Teacher's Mother who is 65 years old is coming out to Nelson from New Brunswick so we will arrange a group to take her out to tea while her youngster yoga teacher is doing her second job which is waiting on tables in a restaurant. The young sometimes have three or four jobs at the same time and I have a lot of respect for that.OK time to read back. I hope ther is good news from DANA and JO and LORI.I MEGA MEGA MEGA LOVE US!!!
But the nest article says "since 2007" and I do believe the nesting goes back farther than that....we've been watching since2006 and I had thought they were nesting before we could watch. But It's a Neat little report Thanks, Steve !
One good thing about these cold temps is that the ground is frozen, so the back yard is not muddy...don't have to wipe muddy doggy feet!I;m sure it's Nu, Margy ☺
Yea, Margy, I caught that too. They've been here since 04 with chicks I think,
Gettting ready to prepare dinner. We had a high today of 75. Enjoyed the movie and when we returned we worked in the yard. This time I removed the leaves from around the greenhouse and the herb garden. Also removed some leaves from the interior of the herb garden. Jack accused me of dumping leaves in there. lolOff to prepare dinner....a warm up of last nights. Yummy!

I hope you heal soonToday in yoga we did some poses to deal with carpal tunnel syndrome.Stretch your arms infront of your chest. Intertwine your fingers palm facing chest. Extend your arms and turn your palms while they are intertwined to face away from chest.Move arms up over head.I thought of you MARGY.
I love the picture too
I grab the pic of it and posted the article on my facebook newsfeed like to have the picture that is so cool thanks STEVE and MARGY from pointing it out
Thanks, Hoda....that is one of the techniques in the Active Isolated Exercises book that I have, unfortunately, my pinched nerve on the Other hand makes it somewhatpainful, but I try it anyway....The old bod is trying to tell mesome things ! And I am listening!
You're welcome JudyE ☺
T-Bird sorry your computer died and I am very happy there was no fire either! I hardly use my desk top now and I most often than not use the iphone. It does not need to be refreshed like the computer does and a simple backward and forward would do it if you needed to refresh. This is my experience anyhow. Good thing this iphone stuff and I still remember how aweson SHAR was when I first got it and she walked me through things.Still no news from DANA so now I will go to her FB page and see what she has to say.LYNNE let us know about the apt hunting. I hope you get something that you can find comfortable and a bit warmer than where you are now. For now remember to layer clothing you and STEVE.
HodaThat is A Good exercise, I can do that one at work.it is actually a little different from and less uncomfortable than for the one in the book. Thanks!
You are welcome MARGY.
oh people.....what a whirlwind couple of days. MTBR....Lynne is TIRED.
First and foremost...prayers for YOU JO. and LOVE. 'nuff said.
Shirley, so sorry to hear about Will's burn. Prayers for Will, and for Chirstine, Sam (OUT BABY, OUT!!), Dana's dad and Lori's dad, Margy and her wrists and Delphia's headache....and....anyone I may have missed.
Just did Hoda's yoga excercise with my hands and arms. Boy, the first time I did it you should have heard the bones popping. lol
Lynne, have you found a place? Getting ready to move?
Anxious to hear how Lolly liked Lincoln.Didn't see a report from Wanda on the Soup Kitchen.
You gotta watch this video of the SW nest so cute what they did to music with the eaglets FtMeyers eaglets
Lincoln was very good! A great history lesson.
We had a private viewing of the movie. lol Went at 1:10, there was one other couple about our age there to see the movie. We laughed together afterwards about our private viewing.
Cute video, Judy. Complete with poop shoots and playing with twigs!
IS THAT SNOW FLAKES I SEE REALLY SCATTERED ONE OR TWO
glad you like it Lolly, I'm sure we would, too, but we'll wait til DVD release. No, we haven't found and apartment yet. I'm thinking we'll see more signs up around the end of Jan and beginning of Feb. there is this tiny little house....but it's really tiny. 256 sq ft! But it's private, not far from work, trees, a yard. No pets though. GGRRRR. Bet I could work it out though! I may go look anyway.
YEP I THINK ITS SNOWING OR TRYING TO AT THE NEST STARE AT THE SCREEN AND YOU CAN SEE FLAKES EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE
I LOOKED ON MY TWC APP AND LOOKS LIKE LITE SNOW THERE AND ALMOST AT MARTINSBURG MARGY
Judy, not surprised, a little system was expected to blow through overnight, getting here after midnight.
Yes, I see the snowflakes, too, Judy.
We might even get some snow here.
Yesindeedy, Snowflakes, a whole bunch of teeny tiny ones herein Martinsburg, JudyEThanks for the Snow Alert !
There are some apartmentsfor rent around hereLynne2 ☺Guess that does not help much.Best Wishes on your Search!
and I see them falling at the nest too, speaking of falling, reminds me of falling asleep!G'Night, Precious PalsPrayers for Wellness...in all our Eagle Corners... God Bless Us,Every One xoxo ♥
OOOOOO Margy, don't tempt me! If I had a job there.......wouldn't we just love to be in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia!!
A tiny but private house sounds wonderful! Lynne, a tiny house well cared for can look fantastic. A large home, not taken care of looks horrible!
Yes Lolly, I know...I live in the later now!
Oh, I see the snowflakes, too. 63 here...got up to 75 this afternoon. Wow!
We have a winter weather advisory and the map shows snow just south of here.
LOCKDOWN at UVA college at Wise.
Oh...so sorry, Lynne! So often when Jack and I are in our tiny trailer, we get along so well. Kind of like it...not much to keep clean. lol
Now they are saying it is a hoax.
eagle in the nest
The secret of living in the trailer is to keep it tidy and everything in it's place. A lot of stuff around makes it crowded, but put away and neat makes it very nice! I should follow m whoops eagle!
lots of chriping
Eagle in nest!!Calling.
Belle is really fussing!
Sounds and looks upset to me, Judy. I think it is Belle.
Good Evening Eagle Buds!!Getting late and I want to send Good Health Prayers to Mema Jo for "OUT, OUT" report and for Sam and Christine. Hope Will's burn heals quickly, Delphia's headache disappears and so glad to read that Lori's Dad came home. Prayers for Dana's Dad and everyone on our list!Konked out in the chair last night & couldn't wait to download one pic I got just leaving Park Office TU PM. A HUGE all brown critter was sitting in a tree. Stopped care and snuck up to large tree trunk. When I popped out to get a pic, bird started flying, of course. What I got was wings and some body parts w/white, so guess it was a juvie Bald Eagle, not the Golden.Loved the reports on Belle's dinner. Saw your videoes, JudyE~~THX. Looked like a dark furry tail or something she ended with. I never saw that big of a gulp! I should think that the turtles would be way under cover with this cold weather.Day off, so we get to go to eye Dr. tomorrow!Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
being she is sort of in the cup or maybe bak belly ache for what she ate earlier
The snow flakes should not be much if the weather maps and forecasts are correct. It is winter however!
As I did not finish saying...I should follow my own advice here at home. lolLooks like Belle is settling down in the egg cup, but occasionally fussing!
Samantha's labor is picking up Yahoo!Hopefully a very healthy Rebecca goes through a safe and fast delivery.Prayers for Sam and Rob to Get R Done ♥
my sound isn't working....GGGRRRRR
Too early for an egg, Judy. I think she was in the tree and something bothered her. She is settled down but looking around.
Saying good nightEarly morning appointments I don't knows why doctors get up with the chickens! I'll be in touch before noon tomorrowI love us ♥Prayers for all of you and your loved ones ♥
she seems to be quite now
Weather guy mentioned Fredericksburg as a place that might get the most snow--but not that much.
See snow starting to fly by Belle. We might get something starting at 12 AM. I won't hold my breath.
wiggle wiggle in the cup
We have awhile to wait for an egg.
** I vaguely remember that Belle would spend a night or two in the nest before the first egg was laid. Perhaps she is keeping the egg cup dry! Maybe an early bird will check out the nest first thing to see if she is stillthere.... Night
Wondering if I'm going to have a couple of snow days at home with Hunter.
Good night, Jo.
Belle does look like she is settling down in the nest.
Yes, it seems that we have always had a few nights of false hope with her spending the night or part of the night in the nest.
she saw the snow and wants to protect the cup LOL Oh we just got the spinning circle at night but it was brief like it use to be not constant So nice to have the nite vision on the cam thanks STEVE CHASE again
wind really has died down at the nest
BELLE IS JUST LOOKING AROUND
Snowing here now.
Spreading into the southern suburbs of Washington.
49° IN SUNNY FL
BELLE looks around I hear crunching but she isn't moving anyone else here it
Hean nothing right now, Judy!
I know just about the time I hit publish it stopped
48° now going down LOL
Think I am going to go shower and then come back and take a peek. Belle is looking, but seems relaxed.
I hear it now
just on the new FB is starting to chare one dollar for sending email
charge not chare
Judy...you are hearing things. lol It is very quiet.
to discourage SPAMERS is the excuse they are using
BELLe is looking behind her I wish I could do that with my neck
HODA I did your stretch too and it made my shoulder area feel good like sort of you get my drift When you release do you go back to the forward position of release on top???
BELLE is still looking to the right that is the way she has been looking since she snuggled in the cup always to the right not tucked in yet
You might upset a few people doing that, Judy.
Yeah, waiting to see her tuck her head under her wing.
as again as I typed it it was gone LOL or am I hearing things I think I have heard that before LOL
