Timing of the spinning arrow seems to be about 5 seconds - maybe it's a 5 second refresh by OC?

Heading to Denton soon. Going in Jack's truck to help move things. Supposedly Joey had scheduled movers for the big items yesterday. Well, he says they mixed up and did not have them scheduled but said they could do it today. But, also he had not gotten a price and when they quoted a price...he cancelled as it was too high. He has also not searched for another mover. Therefore, Laurel has moved but there is no bed in their bedroom, no refrigerator, and no washer and dryer. When I left last night Joey was gone, supposedly moving one of the two refrigerators by himself. Grrrrr! There is a dresser and a bookcase we can move. Boys have their beds and Laurel has been sleeping on Jacob's trundle bed, Joey in a recliner. At the same time Joey has made sure that the TV's were moved, and the company come and hook of computers, phones and TV's. He has got to get his priorities straight!!!! Yesterday, I was moving a heavy box, Joey was "chatting" with the cable guy...Joey ignored me, the cable guy opened the door for me.
Grrrrr! The night before I asked Joey to remove some paint supplies from the kitchen. We were trying to clear the kitchen to be able to eat. He put two cans in a box I supplied, then turned the job over to an 8 year old, who dumped items into the box and then the box did not get moved...until Jack did it. Another time I walked into the living area and he is in his recliner, feet up, and readding!" and his reply was "I know when to quit." Well, if Laurel and I had quit he would not have had a cleared off kitchen table and a meal!!!!

I do hope that Will and Kathryn might be able to install the ceiling fan. I once installed a four-way light switch and a bathroom light strip. If I can do that, my children should be able to do a ceiling fan.

I just remember the wires sticking out of the ceiling with little pieces of tape on them. He looked pretty nervous, so I offered to call an electrician.
I expect the 4-way switch was at least as complicated. That was after he left, and I did not want to pay an electrician.
I love it that they have a desk to sit at here with a plug too

funny funny I am sitting here talkingto 8 peeps about the eagles and a the tower out back with the eagle nest and me wanting to see what was in it and a Ladder truck pulls up and one of the guys say hey there is a truck go use it to see and then the ford guys walks in and i asked if i could use the truck and he says well the keys are in it What would he have done if I went to the truck lolol

The arrow is not a problem for me. I'm just so happy to have such a beautiful picture and to have seen both eagles for such a long time this morning.
Shirley, just make sure the mounting for the fan is attached to a beam or something really solid otherwise spinning blades will loosen the fan - capow!

We'll be attaching the fan to the place the previous fan was attached, so that should be secure, Judie. I had fans put into all bedrooms and the family room. The fan in Susan's bedroom died because of too much cat hair floating around in there.

Dana, today was the first day I showed the live cam to my kids on my Smartboard. they were mesmerized too! They always have a hard time believeing that what they're seeing is LIVE and visualizing the actual size of the nest and the eagles.
As for eggs, Belle laid her first eggon Super Bowl Sunday, just before kick-off time, so that was early February.
I have hung several ceiling fans with a girlfriend - piece of cake (black wires to black wires, red wires to red wires, nothing to it)! Even switched a chandelier and a ceiling fan b/c my friend wanted her dining room to be her living room and her living room to be her dining room.
Lolly, it really bugs me when I am working my butt off and others around me aren't! It bugs me with my students as well! I made a study guide for a social studies test. One kid said, "Don't even give me a copy - I won't study." His IEP meeting is next week and I plan to tell his dad that, if Jacob is OK failing the 8th grade, then so am I! I can't be the only one working! The kid never does homework, so Dad is no better than the kid - apples and trees! I sign the kid's agenda book every day to show that his homework is recorded and he comes to school day after day with no homework!
OK, back to work - gotta finiah this IEP since I have another one to write over the weekend. Later!

BTW, I get the twirling arrow about every 30 seconds but it only lasts for a few seconds and then the live cam starts again. Still preferable to the still cam!
Hi everyone! Looks like STEVE changed the format on his blog page for the cam.
JUDIE this format wasn't like this earlier it had a odd white look and nothing was in it right place here is a snip of the format that was earlier and it was almost like one of our blog the comment area anyway and when you signed on the big orange blogger gear would pop up and also would pop up when you made a comment and to see your comment you would have to click on load more that was a pia I made a comment on the feedback part and said it was slower and unfriendly to use we got our old format back but different color that is better that the pic on the right here

Well God Bless USA Immigration...I followed the clues to try to figure out when I arrived to Canada...Old Age Security and Old Age Pension want to know EXACT dates of where I lived since I was 18 years old and they want to know the exact date I entered Canada.
Well I could not.
I went to my safety deposit box today and spent half an hour following a paper trail that I was smart enough to keep when I was younger...Huge USA stamp on my Passport for when I exited the USA...then I found my landed immigration paper...all is good...very clear dates on there...YAY...

Hoda I am glad all is well with your Old Age Security and Pension situation. I got a letter today from Social Security concerning my TRS retirement offset. Geesh, I haven't even applied for TRS benefits yet because SS would take most of it. guess I'll trudge over to the SS office 40 miles away to see about it next week.
On a birding note, we went looking for Lapland Longspurs, Snow Buntings, and Horned Larks today. We saw one Horned lark, 2 meadowlarks(unusual for this time of year) and about 50 turkeys. We were on back untreated country roads and nearly had a snow adventure.
I would love to come to an Earth Day get together--now that I know I could get there in 4 and a half hours.
GRANNYBLT I understand about cheques that come from the Gov't and return to the gov't...
I get one such cheque already...I pay sales tax and they think I pay too much so they write me a cheque for times a year which I save and write them a cheque once a year for my income tax!!! I will be elgible for another one of those next November. They they ask my to apply for one I am not eligible for so then when the rules change they have my application!!! They are all nuts in so far as I am concerened. I will be happy to get my OAS and my CPP though...the other three is like monopoly money...the one I collect now and the two I will apply for...LOL!!!
