WOWSER I got the featherThanks Steve for the fresh new thread!
WOW!!!! Late last night saw Belle we guess in the nest with snow falling!Good for you, Jo~~~a feather and a turtle shell. I got a turtle shell, but it wasn't out of an eagle's nest.Gotta read back in awhile. Got drops in our eyes---just a little blurry. Can see the keyboard letters, but not much else!BBL
Shep sitting in the egg cup...My still cam is down - just recently
Christine update - she has changed rooms - down to a regular floor - less monitors. Still has the drain tube and it is liquid from the pancreas. Patrick was taking the girls up to see their mom.
Still cam is up/runningBeautiful reception
HOORAY, HOORAY! SPOT IS DEAD!!!!!And baby Rebecca was finally born! Now we need to pray all the other Spots disappear~~~for Dana and Lori's Dads! ☺ ♥Read some of this AMs comments---bluriness going away some.See Shep is in the nest. Think he'll spend the night??I brought homework from Chelsea last night. Now, if I can see, I'll try to cut out mineral logos for 10 MORE signs! I could put some pics of the finished products, so you'll understand what I've been talking about.duh
Great photo on the new thread! Thanks Steve, and thanks Judy for the call over. I see Shep is practicing egg sitting!Home from grocery shopping - roads are OK in some spots and slick in others. Anything that melted from the sun will surely freeze again now that the sun is setting. Temps never got out of the 20s today with gusty winds and single digit wind chill. BBBRRR!!!
He has been hanging out in there for a while this afternoon, settling into the egg cup.
Oops, thanks JO (not Judy) for the call over!
Both eagles in the nest - arrived together.
Put a couple pics of current Chelsea work in the Nook. They keep changing the weather for tomorrow.DUH I can't keep straight what time precip starts? I'll try to go in earlier than usual and then come home if it keeps falling????Gotta do din din & homework ☺
Darn, I mised the eagles!JO, still smiling for you! Thanks for all the prayers for my Dad -- he says he won't do chemo, so I pray the lymph node report is clear.
I qm still doing a Happy Happy Dance for JO and the terrific news wwe got from her this morning. I almost became like the people in Nelson who are so happy they stand around near the street singers with free hugs signs...No No No I did not do that but I felt like the world was so full of joy and wellness and goodness and healing energy abounds. So this has been my day. THANK YOU JO I was going to phone you but I do not have your phone number so I just send much love and Light to you here...
OK Now I read back.Went to the dentist. In June I will have two more crowns...Preventative and no pain right now but she thought is is something that will prevent problems in the future. SO I said go ahead. After all the sun will be out in June and I can handle three hours in the dentist chair or so I think!!!
What a delightful new threadwith the afterglow of the GOOD News from Jo about herself, AND Baby Rebecca, and now with a wee bit of happier news regarding Christine alsoGood Cold Evening, Eagle Pals xoxo
And what a beauteous or I should say HANDSOME picture of our"Resident Male."And Who, But Jo, should get the Feather today !!!
DANA what a thorough report on your DAD. Yes indeed LYNN would have been proud of you. You took great notes and it sounds to me the after report is homeful.PRAYERS continue.LORI I am glad things are alright with your DAD too and awaiting the next steps. I am not sure that I would take chemo either. I heard how my second sister Azza handled it and I do not think I could go through that either!!! It is a very difficult decision but one that I respect and understand.SANDI day off terrific. So sorry to hear that JACOB was not well today I hope he heals soon.Marshmellows I am not too sure they are a step up from A1 Sauce!!! Pure sugar...My oh my SHIRLEY the challenges that you face...he ate A1 With a fork what did he use for the Marshmellows? I hope he outgrows this phase soon...We had almost a foot of snow overnight. They spoke of half a foot but we got more. The roads have been cleaned so I will go to yoga tonight...more snow in the forcast and that will make it good for snow shoeing on Sunday.
Talk to you all later...headed off to yoga!!!
72 right now but on the news they said high of 82. Jack and I worked in the yard and then sat outside...I am in a t-shirt and not the least bit cool. Wild!
Today took my sewing maching in to be serviced. Anxious to get it back and see how well it does.
Sounds like good news all around for Jo and her family!
Looks like the still cam is down again...can't the the FWS page.Going to go read back...

Oh Jo, what ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL NEWS!!OUT, ALL OF YOU DAMN SPOTS! OUT!Welcome to Rebecca!! Bet you can't wait to hold her!
What an amazing day for the Lennox family. Jo is spotless and Rebecca has arrived to make her great mema happy. Wonderful news Jo. Just wonderful news.
Good evening all. quite chilly here this evening 29 at the moment. We are anticipating sleet/ice sometime after 3 a.m. Not supposed to be much though....we shall see in the morning I suppose. It was a regular Thursday. Work was good. Livvy ice skated. Now, I am tired. Going to get her to bed and I shall be in bed shortly .... getting up @ 5 a.m. is tiring!!!!!! UGH! I don't mind an early start to the day, and am glad I only do this 3 days a week!Hope everyone has a peaceful, loving evening. HUgs, light and love to all. SED <3 <3 <3
Home from the kids house and find a fresh afternoon thread and a picture of our boy love it THANKS FOR THE FRESH THREAD STEVE
Good Evening! Finally caught up on the past couple days' posts...I'm just tickled PINK about Rebecca finally making her grand entrance and with that the joyful news that JO's spot is dead and shrinking!! But I am NOT happy that poor Christine is still in the hospital with drainage tubes... This has really been a rough road for her and a long stay in the hospital with no surgery yet. She must really have a lot of inflammation in there and infection, too. Praying that this gets resolved as soon as possible.
JUDYE - That video of Belle eating whatever it was she ate, was something else!! Ugh! We used to have Blue Herons fish in our pond in FL and eat whole fish that way, and you could actually see the bulge in their long necks.
Very sad news that the Wildlife Center of Virginia had to humanely euthanize Chayton, the Peregrine Falcon becaue his foot issues were just causing him too much trouble. He had been there at the Wildlife Center of Virginia for a number of years because he could not be released back into the wild after broken wing injuries. There was an article on their web page.
Oh, DANA - the news about your Dad is so rare and very technical. Yes you did take amazing notes, but I know there is still so much you don't know about. Praying that you get some better answers, soon.LORI You have been dearly missed and of course you are loved here!! Glad your Dad is finally home and working through things as best as he can. Now we just have to pray and pray that those lymph nodes are clear and they got everything. Especially since he does not want to do chemo. Will be praying for him! xo
So I see Robyn and Tori and a couple other special people drove by the Royal Nest today......And the Eagles were there!!! Yahoo!!!
LYNNE - Maybe the 256 sf was a typo mistake. Maybe it was supposed to be 1256??? That would be more like a small house size. Hoping you find something that is affordable and one where your fur babies are welcome!! After all, they are family, right?
HODA - We may have to elect you as our Cyber Yoga Instructor!! Seems like everyone that tried those stretches benefited from them!
Heading to bed, with joy and thanksgiving in my heart for today's blessings. And will keep so many of you and your loved ones in prayer as I turn in tonight. Sometimes God's timing seems very odd to us, but we trust He is in control!!Nightxoxo
Getting late again!!!Got Still cam on~~no one's home.Good Health Prayers for all &Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
SED love and hugs for all ♥
Very good yoga practice...There were 24 of us in the class and it worked really well. Mostly young people and they are friendly and considerate...PRAYERS for CHRISTINE.Good to see you on here LINDA...Oh ROBIN AND TORI went to the nest? I did not see this post. Who else went with them and how lucky they saw the eagles.
Good night to all No eagle in the nest tonightPrayers for all of our needs and for the ones we love.I love us ♥

Oh no, Hoda. Mushrooms. Hunter ate mushrooms. He cleans them, slices them and snacks on them. Had them with tomatoes last night. He has some unusual preferences.
So very happy that our Jo is spotless. And that her new great grandchild has arrived. Now to get Christine taken care of.
Good night my friends. SED. See you tomorrow.
lol I thought I read mushrooms but when Hoda said marshmallows I went along with that. roflmbo Hoda, you led me astray!!!Watched Grey's tonight, then played games on my ipad. Yes, it addicting!Heading to bed since there is no eagle to entertain us. She just sat there last night, but we were thrilled. Yes, eagles are addicting, too!Night all! Praises and thanks for prayers answered and more prayers seeking for answers. I love us!SED!!!
I just checked and still no eagle in the nest...following up on JO's post.GoodnightPrayers of Gratitude♥
SO SO SO SORRY LOLLY and SHIRLEY and HUNTER too. My Bad!!!
Hoda,:) Glad it is not marshmallows, although I am sure he would be delighted to munch on marshmallows if I provided them. There are not any in the house that I know of.
When he was younger, he particularly liked dill pickles and yogurt. Together.I don't buy pickles often because he eats the whole jar in a couple of days. Pretty salty, I think. Used to keep slices to put on certain kinds of sandwiches, but they get eaten too fast for me to get one for the occasional sandwich.
Good frigid Friday morning Shirley (boy, you're up early) and all my eagle friends! 14 degrees here in Bethany Beach! More snow on the way today - wonder if the timing will give us an early closing? The kids will be bonkers today as soon as it starts.MT nest right now.Prayers for all, but especially for Lori's dad, Dana's dad, and Christine.Make it a great day - to those in the path of this next weather event, stay safe and warm!
good morning all FRIDAY!!!! think of our military day!!!!! it is a slippery morning out there, but it is not terrible. the ramp (vice a sidewalk) is fairly slick, but i've already salted it. don't want anyone falling. metro schools are in session and on time, so that is good. no word from work, so we must be on go as well.i will say, the previous owners expected you to be there no matter what. now, he lived in texas while owning this particular massage envy. i don't think he could truely relate to how icey it gets here sometimes, and with the hills....makes for dangerous travel.the last ice storm threat that we had, the new owner closed up @ 5 p.m., sent everone home and did not repoen til 11 the next mornng . that was good. well, hoping for another good day, more great news, light, love and hugs for all!
Good Morning Eagle PalsGood RED FRIDAY Morning that is...wear some RED if you can...honor to the Military that we think about them and CARE!Every day, God Bless Our Military
Pickles and yogurt...well, probably some pretty good foods there....the vinegar is a helpfulingredient in the pickles, not so much the salt, as you say, with the pickles, Shirley...
Another Day,Another Day for PrayersFor Wellness Amongst Us AllWork day for me, I can pray there too!Best Wishes for a Super Fridayfor all!ttfn God Bless Us, Every One xoxo ♥
RememberPostal rates go up on Sunday...a penny for first class and a penny for post card stamps...Buy your Forever stamps before then on first class, and save a little chunk of change
WellGood Morning Eagle !!
And that would beEAGLE SHEP !
Oh, cute, he is trying out the Nest Cup for coziness too ☺
Good morning my eagle momsters and dadsters.
Really nice picture Steve.
Isn't it awfully early for Belle to be spending the night and all this time in the egg cup?
Hi TI know you will get good answers on your question, from our Eagle Expertsdoes seem early, but yet, last year Belle did a little of thisbefore egg laying
and I think on other years alsoshe did some of this, but for sure,You Will Get Good Answers andProbably some Dates to go with it☺Have a good day...I have to go make dough xoxox (( All Day Hugs ))
MAGPIE-be safe while you are making the dough today. : )
They are calling for possibly 6 inches of snow today. The schools are closed.
Good morning all my eagle friends!Expecting up to 5" of snow here today...hope it goes on the low end and we only get 2"! I'll be leaving tomorrow for home and would love for the roads to be cleared when it's time to leave. It will be hard to leave after being with family for the past week. I will miss them. I missed seeing the eagles this morning - AGAIN! Dang!I love you all so much. Thanks for keeping my Dad in your prayers. We have been blessed with so many healings in this group! Thanks for the eagle reports! It's the only way I know what's happening with them. God Bless all of you!!! Smiles and Joy be yours today!
Thank you Lori, for your bright and cheery greeting....I know you love sitting in front of your big picture windows WATCHING the snowfall, but I hope the driving will be okay, and you CAN do some of that when you return.Sure is great that you have been able to with Mom and Dad...xoxox
Good Morning! As much as I love snow, I will pray the roads are clear for you tomorrow, LORI as you head back home.Hoping your Dad was able to sleep good last night. Sleeping in the hospital is always hard, but those first couple nights at home after surgery are sometimes difficult....especially with catheters and such. God Bless and and Heal him! I know it will be hard to leave.
I've been checking the School Closings website seems to have leftMercer County off the list! The Nerve! But all the counties around you are on there
Watched Misty's pups for a little while this morning. They are just adorable!!
Thankful SHOUT OUT to the techs that got the Still Cam updated...aand thanks to Susan for posting that message from Rob Ball yesterday.....Lots of us DO still use that, and at work now, that's the ONLY view of the nest I can get
SHIRLEY - It is good to know that some of Hunter's strange eating habits happen to be foods that are good for him like the tomatoes. I don't know about mushrooms, but they are certainly not junk food!! He is quite the character!
Good morning all. light dusting of snow here. Prayers today for all in need. Remembering especially Lori and Dana's dad and Christine. Also safe travels for Lori and I would sure love to hear an update on Baby Isaac. Trust Michael continues to do well and still so happy about Jo's report and baby Rebecca.
A neat video of juvenile and adult bald eagles eating the after birth of a seal who recently delivered a pup:Eagle Video and Seals
They have a seal cam, too.It is found on the explore.org site, same as Misty's Pups.
just popping in from time to timeto See your Smiling Faces OUr county - Berkeley - has a two hour early dismissal today....Wheeee early start to the week-endfor teachers and kids
Good morning! Cooler here today, 48 and foggy. Think I will stay in today. We are on a roll cleaning up the yard/leaves. Trying to do it now while there is no burn ban. Way too many leaves to bag. Maybe tomorrow yard work, should be a little nicer.Really really need to get the do done, but could not reach Becky. Oh, well, will just be shaggy a while longer. hee hee You can not see me! lol
Two eagles in the nest and HP!!! Wahooo!!!
They have covered the snow with lots of fluff. Hope they keep it that way. Snow coming to the nest??
Shep poofed to the tree. Can see his tail feathers. Poof for real now!
Belle is still in the nest, looking around.
Belle is still sitting in the nest, looking around in all directions. She called out once. Now she is messing with the flugg.
Shep returned and both doing nestorations.
Belle is working on the bed rails.
Good for byou Lolly...You are not aloneI don't have live feedbut I sure their white butts and heads in the nest on the still cam !Wahoo is Right!
Good darn thing you had not left yet, Shaggy Lolly ☺
Good afternoon, Snow beginning here in Berkeley Co!
LOL I "see" that.....25 seconds later, Lolly
Shep poofed!Hi there Margy!
I do NOT want to see snow on the nest!
Lolly, I sorry, but I am afraid we are expecting anywhere up to 3 inches.
Guess that was my treat for today. First time for me to see HP as I have missed seeing the eagles. Guess I best get my day started. lol Yep, certainly not a morning person.
That is not good, Carolyn!
Maybe someone, Wanda?, should climb up the tree with an electric blanket. That should do the trick!
Hi Jewels !! OLI see you HERE and I see you HERE also ☺
"OL" = LOL - LOL !See Ya' Lolly
Quick check-in from school. No snow here yet but I see flakes at the nest.Snow is supposed to start about 2pm here so no early closing for us.Later!
Snowing here in PA...Dang, and all that shoveling I did yesterday is now covered! Wish the eagles were in the nest.

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KAY AND LINDA!!!!Well we had some teeny tiny flakes start falling about 1:30pm at Chelsea. It was hard to tell if they were flakes or little ice balls stuck together. Didn't bounce though. They got heavier, so I decided I would leave about 3 PM. Got home and of course there was almost nothing. Park boss called and said to play it by ear in the morning. I think the roads will be clear, but maybe I can claim it's way below freezing!!!!
Evening, all.Home safe and sound. Roads were worst about 10 miles from home.Gotta get caught up!

Happy to have folks checking in. So sorry you are all having such awful weather. 49 here...need to wake up Jack and ask him to build a fire! Yes, he is asleep in his chair.
Just got a fantastic email with video of osprey hunting from lifelong nature friend (wife of my biology teacher). The "'struction" sheet on making a "Blue Thingy" has disappeared, so I can't put it on here, but sent it to EM yahoo email and to some of you that I have email addresses. It Is Cool!
Do you realize how many brass dresser pulls there are in this world? We moved a dresser from Laurel's house to ours and lost a brass drawer pull. Can not for the life of me find one that matches. Have been to two stores and all over the internet. Grrrr! Do not want to replace with cheaper ones, so may purchase one that is different but will not stand out too much.
Thelma I am on my iPhone and to refresh I hit the Home Button then the comments and I can post and read new entries. This new format is user friendly to iPhones Glad you are home safe and sound LYNNE.I like to eat peanut butter with thin slices of onions and a sprinkling of salt!!! I still feel badly for misreading mushrooms for marshmallows !!! Poor HUNTER!
Laurel sent me an email today. She measured the boys. Joseph has grown another 3/4 inch the last two months....at age 12 he is now 5' 5". Jacob has grown a full inch and at the age of 8 he is now 5'.
I just learnt that the newest very fancy building that we have in Nelson is to house people who are 55 yrs or over with a net income less than 26 thousand per year. If there is a health issue they can be younger than 55 yrs. Two bedroom units for 400 $. I was curious so I phoned to find out what it is about and they just returned my call. I volunteered if I could be of assistance. Proud of Nelson.
Wow Hoda, that's a great rental price!
Having wings tonight and some homemade Red Lobster biscuits! They expect a wing shortage due to the upcoming Super Bowl! Can you believe the price??? As expensive as deboned breast meat.
sounds like a great place Hoda, and you volunteering....hey, maybe if they take pets Steve and I will move in in a couple of years!
Lolly, if you know who made the dresser, you might be able to go to their website and order a new handle/knob.
Lolly, or if she bought them new, go back to the original purchase place.
Hoda, thanks for worrying about me but I've been home for hours!! It's snowing outside but I'm here, snug as a bug! Just watching TV and keeping up with the blog at commercial time.Later!
Lynne, any luck finding a new place? I can't imagine how uncomfortable it must be living in the basement of a house with practically no heat! Yuk! Hoping you find something soon!!
I like sliced cheese with oatmeal cookies, and cheddar cheese with green pepper slicesYah, the roads are quite nasty.Too cold for some of the chemicals to melt it, so sand and cinders is more the choiceJewels cleaned off my car after workShe is a Doll !Very comforting to read of those getting home safely....I doubt if Wanda could have Friday Night Family Night Fun...maybe so, but.....I hope we hear from her tonight too
LollyJacob is as "tall" as Me.Good luck with that brass drawer pull
Full Moon on Saturday :)
Oh Lynne wouldn't I love it if you and Steve were in Nelson too. I hope you find something soon.SANDI thank you for letting me know you are safe and sound too. MARGY is Jewels on the road right now? When will you get off shift. Drive Safely you two. Please check in when you get home.
This is so exciting LOLLY JOSEPH is taller than me now! Way to go JOSEPH
We both got off at 4 pm, Hoda...I'm going to check on her nowxoxo LOL - you and I are BOTH short little bits !
Yes indeedy Carolyn-Jewels got home okay...she lives waaaaay out in the country, said she took it nice and slow....
We both report back at 8 a.m. Saturday...roads won't be much better by then...I live only 3 miles from my workplace, for Jewels, it is about15 miles or so :(
I mentioned oatmeal cookies awhile back which reminds me thategg-laying and then egg-hatching season is Oatmeal Creme Pie Season!oh dear, how can I do this when I am counting sugars ?? LOL xo
Jewels says: "Tell them Hello from Me " that is to YOU all from Carolyn...xoxo ♥
Still snowing here but just lightly - a couple of inches on the ground is all. I still see some flakes at the nest.Tennis for me in the morning.Goodnight all!
Oh yeah, one of my former students is doing a polar bear plunge in the Chesapeake Bay tomorrow to raise money for Special Olympics. Temps are supposed to be in the 20s with a wind chill in the teens and snow on the ground!!!! I agreed to make a donation toward her goal but told her (on Facebook)that I think she is absolutely insane!! Can you imagine jumping into the Chesapeake Bay tomorrow?????On that note, I'm going to jump into a hot bathtub and then a bed with flannel sheets! Goodnight again!
MARGY and CAROLYN safe travels in the AM when you head out. Thinking of you and putting you in prayer. I hope they clear the roads for you.
MeMa Jo is in the hospital with her cold Posted on FB Prayers please.
Jennifer VallandinghamJo LennoxMema Jo is in the Hospital and will be spending the night there this evening. She has had difficulty getting rid of a bad cold and her breathing is not well. They did rule out influenza and pneumonia so that is good. Pap asked me to post this for all of you. He is going home to pick up some things then running back in to spend the night with mom. I will post when I hear anything more. Jenny
DEAR GOD!!!! Thank You GLO!PRAYERS started and candle lit.
Thank you LYNNE...I much appreciate you and GLO letting me know. I will go to FB

I know Jo's Faith is Forever Strong;in her time of illness and weakness, may we add Our Faith and Prayers in with hers.As Jo says, She is A Tough Old Bird . Gentle Giant, she is.(( Healing Hugs ))Good Night, Precious PalsPrayers for Wellness, ALL Around God Bless Us,EVERY ONE xo
Sandperson has departed for a night-long visit with Jo to make sure she rests and gets plenty of sleep.
Sorry to be so late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDA AND KAY!!!!!Jo, lifting you up to receive the healing you need. The list gets longer but the prayers are stronger.Stay safe everyone.
Oh no!!! Just read about Jo. I had wondered where she was today. Prayers for sure for a quick recovery!Paula, the dresser is one we gave Laurel when she was young. So, she has had it a long time. She is using another piece of furniture and was going to put it in a garage sale. I told her I wanted to switch it out with a dresser I have in her old bedroom. She was happy to do that as she really did not want to get rid of it. It looks great, much better than the old dresser I had in that room.
had a beautiful walk....bright moon on the snow and it looks like a million pieces of diamond glitter are sparkling on the ground. Good night and prayers for all....especially for our Jo tonight.
I just went to Jo's fb page to leave a message and see that Christine came home from the hospital today. So far so good.
Night Lynne! Moon on the snow...sounds very pretty.
Thanks Ed and Jenny for letting us know about Jo....glad they can keep an eye on her, then she can come home and get some rest!SED, love and hugs to all ♥
I was shocked and saddened at the news of Jo's hospitalization! That's what happens when you don't read all of the Blog and follow along with the days events. I haven't been able to do that in a long time. My time is still so limited...so much to do and so little time!Prayers for our JO to get well, quickly. Prayers and love to all♥
Good Morning Eagle Pals....Thinking of our dear Pal Jo, and all the Family Lennox....great, that Christine did get to go home...Special Thoughts today on the MSP Polar Bear Plunge in Annapolis.... Go Maggie's Mounties !!!
Good snowy Saturday mrorning Margy and all my eagle firends! Wouldya look at the typing in that first sentence???!!!I still see flakes falling at the nest. Snow has stopped here.Sorry to read that Jo is in the hospital. On the one hand, it's good that she can get IV antibiotics there to knock out whatever is causing her breathing problem. On the other hand, hospitals are breeding grounds for so many germs! Sending prayers and positive energy her way that her docs can get her back on track and home in a hurry. Oh Jo~so sorry to hear that you are in the hospital with breathing problems. I hope that the issue is resolved quickly. Good morning everyone! I was hoping for an eagle in the nest this morning. I haven't caught them in a couple of days. Thanks for the pictures though, that is the only way I am seeing our pair!Today starts Catholic Schools Week! My favorite (not) week of the school year. Total chaos and many people around the school watching and looking. I haven't even asked what my list looks like for next year! The 100th day of school is fast approaching. Things are settling down in the classroom so it has been better. Next stop is getting through this week!

Sandi-why are some years like this? Isn't it strange?
Here is an update on Jerry, my brother-in-law. He saw the oncologist at UVA. It appears they got all the cancer. He will follow-up in 6 months and then, if all is still well, he will follow-up once a year for 5 years. He is still going to have to go through a chemotherapy regiment. Thank you all for your prayers. (((hugs)))
Good saturday morning my dear eagle friends...just read back over last night's posts....tears in my eyes. hoping Jo makes a full recovery...hugs, light, love and healing as always.still cloudy and gray here in nashville. chilly, but not bad. in the 30's. we went to a nice little Italian place last night: PortaVia. I had their 4 cheese pizza with mushrooms and fresh spinach on top. decacent. After that I was lazy. I have two massages this morning...and the lens fell out of my new glasses, so I suppose I will have to take them to get them fixed. Thankfully I have the old ones. Always something...seldom bored. Hugs to all....keeping you all, espcially our sweet Mema Jo in my heart....Later!
