WOWSER I got the feather

Thanks Steve for the fresh new thread!

NatureNut said...

WOW!!!! Late last night saw Belle we guess in the nest with snow falling!
Good for you, Jo~~~a feather and a turtle shell. I got a turtle shell, but it wasn't out of an eagle's nest.
Gotta read back in awhile. Got drops in our eyes---just a little blurry. Can see the keyboard letters, but not much else!

My still cam is down - just recently

Mema Jo said...

Christine update - she has changed rooms - down to a regular floor - less monitors. Still has the drain tube and it is liquid from the pancreas.
Patrick was taking the girls up to see their mom.

Still cam is up/running
Beautiful reception

HOORAY, HOORAY! SPOT IS DEAD!!!!!
And baby Rebecca was finally born!
Now we need to pray all the other Spots disappear~~~for Dana and Lori's Dads! ☺ ♥
Read some of this AMs comments---bluriness going away some.
See Shep is in the nest. Think he'll spend the night??

I brought homework from Chelsea last night. Now, if I can see, I'll try to cut out mineral logos for 10 MORE signs! I could put some pics of the finished products, so you'll understand what I've been talking about.duh

Sandi said...

Great photo on the new thread! Thanks Steve, and thanks Judy for the call over. I see Shep is practicing egg sitting!

Home from grocery shopping - roads are OK in some spots and slick in others. Anything that melted from the sun will surely freeze again now that the sun is setting. Temps never got out of the 20s today with gusty winds and single digit wind chill. BBBRRR!!!

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

He has been hanging out in there for a while this afternoon, settling into the egg cup.

Sandi said...

Oops, thanks JO (not Judy) for the call over!

Sandi said...

Both eagles in the nest - arrived together.

Sandi said...

Poof Shep.

Sandi said...

Poof Belle!

NatureNut said...

Put a couple pics of current Chelsea work in the Nook.
They keep changing the weather for tomorrow.DUH I can't keep straight what time precip starts? I'll try to go in earlier than usual and then come home if it keeps falling????
Gotta do din din & homework ☺

Lori O. said...

Darn, I mised the eagles!

JO, still smiling for you!

Thanks for all the prayers for my Dad -- he says he won't do chemo, so I pray the lymph node report is clear.

Hoda said...

I qm still doing a Happy Happy Dance for JO and the terrific news wwe got from her this morning. I almost became like the people in Nelson who are so happy they stand around near the street singers with free hugs signs...
No No No I did not do that but I felt like the world was so full of joy and wellness and goodness and healing energy abounds. So this has been my day. THANK YOU JO I was going to phone you but I do not have your phone number so I just send much love and Light to you here...

Hoda said...

OK Now I read back.

Went to the dentist.
In June I will have two more crowns...Preventative and no pain right now but she thought is is something that will prevent problems in the future. SO I said go ahead. After all the sun will be out in June and I can handle three hours in the dentist chair or so I think!!!

magpie said...

What a delightful new thread
with the afterglow of the GOOD News from Jo about herself, AND Baby Rebecca, and now with a wee bit of happier news regarding Christine also

Good Cold Evening, Eagle Pals xoxo

magpie said...

And what a beauteous or I should say HANDSOME picture of our
"Resident Male."

And Who, But Jo, should get the Feather today !!!

Hoda said...

DANA what a thorough report on your DAD. Yes indeed LYNN would have been proud of you. You took great notes and it sounds to me the after report is homeful.
PRAYERS continue.

LORI I am glad things are alright with your DAD too and awaiting the next steps. I am not sure that I would take chemo either. I heard how my second sister Azza handled it and I do not think I could go through that either!!! It is a very difficult decision but one that I respect and understand.

SANDI day off terrific.

So sorry to hear that JACOB was not well today I hope he heals soon.

Marshmellows I am not too sure they are a step up from A1 Sauce!!! Pure sugar...My oh my SHIRLEY the challenges that you face...he ate A1 With a fork what did he use for the Marshmellows? I hope he outgrows this phase soon...

We had almost a foot of snow overnight. They spoke of half a foot but we got more. The roads have been cleaned so I will go to yoga tonight...more snow in the forcast and that will make it good for snow shoeing on Sunday.

Hoda said...

Talk to you all later...headed off to yoga!!!

Good evening all. quite chilly here this evening 29 at the moment. We are anticipating sleet/ice sometime after 3 a.m. Not supposed to be much though....we shall see in the morning I suppose.

It was a regular Thursday. Work was good. Livvy ice skated. Now, I am tired. Going to get her to bed and I shall be in bed shortly .... getting up @ 5 a.m. is tiring!!!!!! UGH! I don't mind an early start to the day, and am glad I only do this 3 days a week!

Hope everyone has a peaceful, loving evening. HUgs, light and love to all. SED <3 <3 <3

Home from the kids house and find a fresh afternoon thread and a picture of our boy love it

THANKS FOR THE FRESH THREAD STEVE

Linda said...

Good Evening!

Finally caught up on the past couple days' posts...

I'm just tickled PINK about Rebecca finally making her grand entrance and with that the joyful news that JO's spot is dead and shrinking!!

But I am NOT happy that poor Christine is still in the hospital with drainage tubes... This has really been a rough road for her and a long stay in the hospital with no surgery yet. She must really have a lot of inflammation in there and infection, too. Praying that this gets resolved as soon as possible.

Linda said...

JUDYE - That video of Belle eating whatever it was she ate, was something else!! Ugh! We used to have Blue Herons fish in our pond in FL and eat whole fish that way, and you could actually see the bulge in their long necks.

Linda said...

Very sad news that the Wildlife Center of Virginia had to humanely euthanize Chayton, the Peregrine Falcon becaue his foot issues were just causing him too much trouble.

He had been there at the Wildlife Center of Virginia for a number of years because he could not be released back into the wild after broken wing injuries.

There was an article on their web page.

Linda said...

Oh, DANA - the news about your Dad is so rare and very technical. Yes you did take amazing notes, but I know there is still so much you don't know about. Praying that you get some better answers, soon.

LORI You have been dearly missed and of course you are loved here!! Glad your Dad is finally home and working through things as best as he can. Now we just have to pray and pray that those lymph nodes are clear and they got everything. Especially since he does not want to do chemo. Will be praying for him! xo

Linda said...

So I see Robyn and Tori and a couple other special people drove by the Royal Nest today......

And the Eagles were there!!! Yahoo!!!

Linda said...

LYNNE - Maybe the 256 sf was a typo mistake. Maybe it was supposed to be 1256??? That would be more like a small house size.

Hoping you find something that is affordable and one where your fur babies are welcome!! After all, they are family, right?

Linda said...

HODA - We may have to elect you as our Cyber Yoga Instructor!! Seems like everyone that tried those stretches benefited from them!

Linda said...

Heading to bed, with joy and thanksgiving in my heart for today's blessings. And will keep so many of you and your loved ones in prayer as I turn in tonight. Sometimes God's timing seems very odd to us, but we trust He is in control!!

Night

Oh no, Hoda. Mushrooms. Hunter ate mushrooms. He cleans them, slices them and snacks on them. Had them with tomatoes last night. He has some unusual preferences.

stronghunter said...

So very happy that our Jo is spotless. And that her new great grandchild has arrived. Now to get Christine taken care of.

stronghunter said...

Good night my friends. SED. See you tomorrow.

Lolly said...

lol I thought I read mushrooms but when Hoda said marshmallows I went along with that. roflmbo Hoda, you led me astray!!!

Watched Grey's tonight, then played games on my ipad. Yes, it addicting!

Heading to bed since there is no eagle to entertain us. She just sat there last night, but we were thrilled. Yes, eagles are addicting, too!

Night all! Praises and thanks for prayers answered and more prayers seeking for answers. I love us!

SED!!!

Hoda said...

I just checked and still no eagle in the nest...following up on JO's post.

Goodnight

Prayers of Gratitude♥

Hoda said...

SO SO SO SORRY LOLLY and SHIRLEY and HUNTER too. My Bad!!!

stronghunter said...

Hoda,

:)

Glad it is not marshmallows, although I am sure he would be delighted to munch on marshmallows if I provided them.

There are not any in the house that I know of.

stronghunter said...

When he was younger, he particularly liked dill pickles and yogurt. Together.

I don't buy pickles often because he eats the whole jar in a couple of days. Pretty salty, I think.

Used to keep slices to put on certain kinds of sandwiches, but they get eaten too fast for me to get one for the occasional sandwich.

Sandi said...

Good frigid Friday morning Shirley (boy, you're up early) and all my eagle friends! 14 degrees here in Bethany Beach! More snow on the way today - wonder if the timing will give us an early closing? The kids will be bonkers today as soon as it starts.

MT nest right now.

Prayers for all, but especially for Lori's dad, Dana's dad, and Christine.

Make it a great day - to those in the path of this next weather event, stay safe and warm!

Janet said...

good morning all FRIDAY!!!! think of our military day!!!!!

it is a slippery morning out there, but it is not terrible. the ramp (vice a sidewalk) is fairly slick, but i've already salted it. don't want anyone falling.

metro schools are in session and on time, so that is good. no word from work, so we must be on go as well.

i will say, the previous owners expected you to be there no matter what. now, he lived in texas while owning this particular massage envy. i don't think he could truely relate to how icey it gets here sometimes, and with the hills....makes for dangerous travel.

the last ice storm threat that we had, the new owner closed up @ 5 p.m., sent everone home and did not repoen til 11 the next mornng . that was good.

well, hoping for another good day, more great news, light, love and hugs for all!

the vinegar is a helpful
ingredient in the pickles, not so much the salt, as you say, with the pickles, Shirley...

does seem early, but yet, last year Belle did a little of this
before egg laying

Good morning all my eagle friends!

Expecting up to 5" of snow here today...hope it goes on the low end and we only get 2"! I'll be leaving tomorrow for home and would love for the roads to be cleared when it's time to leave. It will be hard to leave after being with family for the past week. I will miss them.

I missed seeing the eagles this morning - AGAIN! Dang!

I love you all so much. Thanks for keeping my Dad in your prayers. We have been blessed with so many healings in this group!

Thanks for the eagle reports! It's the only way I know what's happening with them.

God Bless all of you!!! Smiles and Joy be yours today!

magpie said...

Thank you Lori, for your bright and cheery greeting....
I know you love sitting in front of your big picture windows WATCHING the snowfall, but I hope the driving will be okay, and you CAN do some of that when you return.
Sure is great that you have been able to with Mom and Dad...
xoxox

Linda said...

Good Morning!

As much as I love snow, I will pray the roads are clear for you tomorrow, LORI as you head back home.

Hoping your Dad was able to sleep good last night. Sleeping in the hospital is always hard, but those first couple nights at home after surgery are sometimes difficult....especially with catheters and such. God Bless and and Heal him! I know it will be hard to leave.

Linda said...

SHIRLEY - It is good to know that some of Hunter's strange eating habits happen to be foods that are good for him like the tomatoes. I don't know about mushrooms, but they are certainly not junk food!! He is quite the character!

glo said...

Good morning all. light dusting of snow here. Prayers today for all in need. Remembering especially Lori and Dana's dad and Christine. Also safe travels for Lori and I would sure love to hear an update on Baby Isaac. Trust Michael continues to do well and still so happy about Jo's report and baby Rebecca.

Good morning! Cooler here today, 48 and foggy. Think I will stay in today. We are on a roll cleaning up the yard/leaves. Trying to do it now while there is no burn ban. Way too many leaves to bag. Maybe tomorrow yard work, should be a little nicer.

Really really need to get the do done, but could not reach Becky. Oh, well, will just be shaggy a while longer. hee hee You can not see me! lol

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KAY AND LINDA!!!!

Well we had some teeny tiny flakes start falling about 1:30pm at Chelsea. It was hard to tell if they were flakes or little ice balls stuck together. Didn't bounce though. They got heavier, so I decided I would leave about 3 PM. Got home and of course there was almost nothing. Park boss called and said to play it by ear in the morning. I think the roads will be clear, but maybe I can claim it's way below freezing!!!!

Do you realize how many brass dresser pulls there are in this world? We moved a dresser from Laurel's house to ours and lost a brass drawer pull. Can not for the life of me find one that matches. Have been to two stores and all over the internet. Grrrr! Do not want to replace with cheaper ones, so may purchase one that is different but will not stand out too much.

I just learnt that the newest very fancy building that we have in Nelson is to house people who are 55 yrs or over with a net income less than 26 thousand per year. If there is a health issue they can be younger than 55 yrs. Two bedroom units for 400 $.
I was curious so I phoned to find out what it is about and they just returned my call. I volunteered if I could be of assistance. Proud of Nelson.

paula eagleholic said...

Wow Hoda, that's a great rental price!

paula eagleholic said...

Still snowing here but just lightly - a couple of inches on the ground is all. I still see some flakes at the nest.

Tennis for me in the morning.

Goodnight all!

Sandi said...

Oh yeah, one of my former students is doing a polar bear plunge in the Chesapeake Bay tomorrow to raise money for Special Olympics. Temps are supposed to be in the 20s with a wind chill in the teens and snow on the ground!!!!

I agreed to make a donation toward her goal but told her (on Facebook)that I think she is absolutely insane!! Can you imagine jumping into the Chesapeake Bay tomorrow?????

On that note, I'm going to jump into a hot bathtub and then a bed with flannel sheets! Goodnight again!

MARGY and CAROLYN safe travels in the AM when you head out. Thinking of you and putting you in prayer. I hope they clear the roads for you.

Mema Jo is in the Hospital and will be spending the night there this evening. She has had difficulty getting rid of a bad cold and her breathing is not well. They did rule out influenza and pneumonia so that is good. Pap asked me to post this for all of you. He is going home to pick up some things then running back in to spend the night with mom. I will post when I hear anything more.

Jo, lifting you up to receive the healing you need.

The list gets longer but the prayers are stronger.

Stay safe everyone.

Oh no!!! Just read about Jo. I had wondered where she was today. Prayers for sure for a quick recovery!

Paula, the dresser is one we gave Laurel when she was young. So, she has had it a long time. She is using another piece of furniture and was going to put it in a garage sale. I told her I wanted to switch it out with a dresser I have in her old bedroom. She was happy to do that as she really did not want to get rid of it. It looks great, much better than the old dresser I had in that room.

I was shocked and saddened at the news of Jo's hospitalization! That's what happens when you don't read all of the Blog and follow along with the days events. I haven't been able to do that in a long time. My time is still so limited...so much to do and so little time!

Prayers for our JO to get well, quickly. Prayers and love to all♥

Good Morning Eagle Pals....
Thinking of our dear Pal Jo, and all the Family Lennox....
great, that Christine did get to go home...

Special Thoughts today on the MSP Polar Bear Plunge in Annapolis....
Go Maggie's Mounties !!!

Good snowy Saturday mrorning Margy and all my eagle firends! Wouldya look at the typing in that first sentence???!!!

I still see flakes falling at the nest. Snow has stopped here.

Sorry to read that Jo is in the hospital. On the one hand, it's good that she can get IV antibiotics there to knock out whatever is causing her breathing problem. On the other hand, hospitals are breeding grounds for so many germs! Sending prayers and positive energy her way that her docs can get her back on track and home in a hurry. The Lennox family has sure had a lot going on lately - time for things to just settle down for them!

Glad to hear that Christine finally went home - hopefully her surgery will be soon.

Prayers continue for dana's dad and Lori's dad for positive outcomes from their recent surgeries.

Make it a great day all!

Oh Jo~so sorry to hear that you are in the hospital with breathing problems. I hope that the issue is resolved quickly.

Good morning everyone! I was hoping for an eagle in the nest this morning. I haven't caught them in a couple of days. Thanks for the pictures though, that is the only way I am seeing our pair!

Today starts Catholic Schools Week! My favorite (not) week of the school year. Total chaos and many people around the school watching and looking. I haven't even asked what my list looks like for next year! The 100th day of school is fast approaching. Things are settling down in the classroom so it has been better. Next stop is getting through this week!

Good morning Dana and Judy!

Dana, yesterday was the end of the 2nd marking period for me. So my school year from hell is half over! Sadly, the 2nd half of the year goes by SOOOO much slower than the 1st half!

Glad to hear that you are whipping those kinders into shape, figuratively speaking of course!

Good Morning Eagle Friends!!!

Hello Dana, Sandi, Margy. Thelma and Judy!!!

So sorry to hear about JO being in the hospital. Prayers that she heals quickly and is home again, very soon.

I haven't brought up the cam yet. Just hoping that when I do that our Royal Pair will be there!

Headed for home in a few hours...can't wait to see my critters!

Wishing you all a snowless day and lots of love, light and smiles!

Here is an update on Jerry, my brother-in-law. He saw the oncologist at UVA. It appears they got all the cancer. He will follow-up in 6 months and then, if all is still well, he will follow-up once a year for 5 years. He is still going to have to go through a chemotherapy regiment.
Thank you all for your prayers. (((hugs)))

Good saturday morning my dear eagle friends...just read back over last night's posts....

tears in my eyes. hoping Jo makes a full recovery...hugs, light, love and healing as always.

still cloudy and gray here in nashville. chilly, but not bad. in the 30's.

we went to a nice little Italian place last night: PortaVia. I had their 4 cheese pizza with mushrooms and fresh spinach on top. decacent.

After that I was lazy.

I have two massages this morning...and the lens fell out of my new glasses, so I suppose I will have to take them to get them fixed. Thankfully I have the old ones.

Always something...seldom bored. Hugs to all....keeping you all, espcially our sweet Mema Jo in my heart....

Later!

p,s, the places uses GOAT cheese on the pizza and it is wonderful!!!

Thelma, what a wonderful update on your brother-in-law!!!!! Thanks for sharing it with us! I will keep him in my prayers!!

OK, time for me to get ready for tennis. Guess our eagles aren't inclined to stomp around in a snowy nest this morning!

Safe travels Lori and Glo!

Will check in later!
