ok now I have for real several eagle feathers, a red tail hawk feather and possible a turkey vulter feather and 4 feathers from the blog I have enough to share now
Heading out soon to have my bad tooth pulled. I'll be glad to be rid of it fianlly....the pain has been horrible. Comes in waves of severe pain in both upper and lower jaws, side of face and back to ear, and then periods of no pain whatsoever. Weird!
Glo, so glad you get to see your daughter. Sit on her! She has internal stitches that need to mend! It really takes a while to feel good after this surgery.
Wow Judy! Are you still doing your Happy Dance - I love it when you call us over especially to announce you got the feather again! Head dress must be starting to look good!

Hello, my name is Lynne, and my favorite color is CLEAR.
Darth is fine. Recovering in his recliner with his eyes closed.
My visit to the dermatologist was for advice. Been seeing him for nearly 30 years. Usually talk about criminals while he freezes unhappy skin cells. He identified my peripheral artery disease symptoms. Advice is to find a new cardiologist. Haven't seen mine in two years. Nurse practitioner writes prescriptions. I am not comfortable with this so the search will begin.
Going to pretend to be Mema Jo and put my feet up. Spicy chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce and spinach salad tonight. Easy an not too much for such hot weather.
Oh, Montana osprey eggs did not hatch. Sad as she continues to incubate. Egg removal is planned.
so I guess we don't really know what's wrong with the live feed today, huh?
Hoda I have totally missed getting in on the enthusiastic send offs for your upcoming Journey... but Happy Trails when the time comes just in case I miss your Departure xo
Hi all. Tooth is out, still bleeding a little, and I'm still numb so I don't know yet how much the tooth pull pain is going to be. I very seriously doubt it will even come close to the toothACHE pain! It was a 3 rooter, lots of decay inside and a small amount of abscess. Came out very quickly, and so quick in fact that he was telling me to bit down, and I didn't even feel the tooth come out!
Judie is cooking a great dinner for hot weather. What do I do? Try a new roast recipe that cooks in a slow oven for hours!! Dummy! BUT, I had thawed this roast and wanted to try this new recipe. It is cooking in a whole bottle of red wine!!!! Will let you know how it turns out. It was very simple to prepare to put in the oven. Wondering if I had done it earlier I could have used my crock pot? Probably so!
Loweeeeeda, loved the fawn pictures, but aren't they still too young to be without their momma?
Remember when Jack was having tooth problems? He developed an infection in the jaw under a crown. Well, it finally healed, but this weekend it started hurting again. He went to the tooth specialist who treated him. After x rays he said he has healed and the bone was once again fine, just needed to grind down the crown a little. Whew!
Lynne2, so glad the tooth is gone. Agree, salt water rinse with warm water frequently. Hope you are painless by tomorrow.
Lolly, very happy Jack's healed and a crown adjustment is very easy. You won't care about the oven heat because the roast will be delicious. Been thinking that a G&T over ice cream would be nice.
Off to look at JudyE's Alaska lady.
Hi Hoda. Started packing your bags yet? Maybe something flirty in case the RMCP fellas decide to search for contraband feathers.
I just wanted yo Thank you all for your prayers and great responses to the news that my family can ALL come for their vacation. In just 4 hours I will see them heading my way and in my camera lens will be ELIA geeesh I get teary just typing this. I hope I can see her well enough to focus and get that photos. If not well there will be another one or 2 or 3 or well you get the idea ;-).
Thought of Lynn a little while ago. Went to get the front hose to spray the garage windows and there was a huge spider. She would not have liked that! Bet there are no spiders in heaven. What do you think?☺
There are NO spiders in heaven. Hmmm well there are eagles oh and doves. Do either of those eat spiders? They certainly don't seem to eat the ones that walk across the cam lens.
Had to get in some admin training at Park. YUCK I don't work this Sat., but Park is holding first ever Great American Campout w/ all 100 spaces filled! Found out from lady I worked w/today that boss wants them to work there from 10AM until 11PM!!I think that's illegal! She wants to take her break and go home or somewhere w/AC, not sit at info/First Aid table whole time! Mosquitoes got me today & I wore slacks. Had sandals, so they got top of feet and ankles!Gotta take my Off everywhere. Cooked pot roast & lots of veggies last night. Hooray for leftovers--gotta heat some portions.
There are NO spiders in heaven. Well, not anymore. Lordy, can only laugh at the thought of Lynn running into Boris.
Glo, have a wonderful visit.
Loretta, I think asking people to work 13 hours is unreasonable, especially without a break from the heat. Sorry about the mosquitoes. I hate mosquitoes and gnats.
Dinner was great! Went outside and worked for a while. Going to mow tomorrow, so thought I could get some weeds pulled way far front before we mow. Worked up a sweat.
Jordyn and I saw the eagle at the cell phone tower this am only one like Jordyn says I love how she now looks at cell phone tower wondering if they are any in them
Tomorrow we are heading to Charleston and meeting Andrew, Kelsey and her family at Quaker Steak and Lube for Andrew's birthday dinner. Sunday is a fellowship picnic in Dunbar that Mattie and I will attend. Monday through Thursday Mattie is attending softball camp at WV State. We will be gone almost a whole week and get to stay with my boy that whole time! Love it!
It is time for me to get ready for bed I almost dozed off while watching the tapes of TV shows. Sharon enjoy your week... Prayers are for Kay's recovery
Good Night everyone........ Don't think it can get any hotter then today - I hope not!♥ Memories of Lynn ♥ Carolyn♥ Christie♥ I DO LOVE US LOTS
GLO must be having a great time with family by nw and I hope many many pictures through her lense...
Thanks PAULA for letting them know.
MARGY there is NO WAY you will miss my departure...thanks for he wishes though!!!
Spiders in heaven? Not in LYNN'S hood says SHAR I will have to go to the same hood then...I am supposed to have loving kindness towards all of living creatures and I still have a reflex of stepping on them...a few times I took them in a kerchief and put them outside but mostly it is the step and squich reaction that happens!!! LYNN will take care of that for us all...SWEET PRECIOUS LADY SHE IS...MISS YOU LYNN.
JUDIE I am afraid when it comes to crossing the borders to the USA our chaps, THE RCMP just wave me on by...so it is the Washington folks that will have to check the car, and I am not sure how cute they are...they hardly crack a smile.I am sure none of you will let them know about my eagle feathers!!! LOL!!!
Was on Skype with my sister in Egypt for two and a half hours today...she is besides herself with the election results and what it all means in terms of freedoms and security and economic growth.She was distraught as it looks pretty awful with the new government forming...They are already threatening the State of Isreal and there is even talk of war again...Heaven help us...This Arab Spring stuff is NOT GOOD!!! Sorry remember you said I could vent...
And MISS LOLLY had roast and ONLY invited SHIRLEY what is the matter with the rest of us I wonder??? LOL I am sure it was delicious.
JO I am afraid to start actually packing but have made lists of what I want to take and checked them on with the Canadian Air Security site and they tell me about what I can or can not take...very cool service rather...
Brought the laptop up to my bedroom tonight. I have been trying to get rid of the clutter here. Eventually, I may get it done.
I am still trying to recover from the increase in the members of this household. I had been putting my stuff in the extra bedrooms for so long. Now there are no extra bedrooms.
I had to drag a lot of it into my own room, and it has been overwhelming. I really do not need all of that stuff, that is true.
Nighty night time! Sorry I missed Jo, but just checked our Park osprey's night light. Pretty cool, but not real clear to tell which nest. When Ceil and the Aquarium group came Tuesday, Greg showed them the other nest with the 2 large chicks and left that one on at that time. Only drawback is I saw Spidies!!!!They were fast ,tho, and zipped away.
Hoda, I heard some info on TV about Egypt elections and it doesn't sound good.Reports were that group who won are against any other religions and could be trouble. Sounds like regression.If need be, hope your relatives could exit. Prayers for them. I won't tell anyone here you have eagle feathers! Shhhhh
Shar, sounds like some wondertful events for you guys.
Gotta get off 'puter~~stuff to do. And then over weekend I will start shoveling! LOL Daughter has trip to DC next week and when done w/work will come to our house around TH! I see field trips on the horizon! Haven't read everything, but hope Lynne is surviving from dental appt. I usually like dentists, but I have some (awful in my mind) stuff that needs to be done. Gum Dr. says it's time for scaling and root planing! ICK He'll use novacaine. I know it's been done before, but I'm getting chicken as I approach senility!
Pleasant Feather Dreams and Good Health Prayers for ALL ;>)
LORETTA, the graves of our ancestors are in Egypt and my sister will not leave them. She said so today...we must continue to tend the graves for who are we if we do not honour the ancestors... Thanks for your kind words of understanding, I wqatch and I am not at all liking what I am hearing or seeing on the internet!!!
Oh my, Lolly, I am sure your roast was much better than the pizza we had. Thanks for the invitation.
At bridge last night, I missed an important play by my partner and got told about it.
I told her I was distracted by the conversation at the next table, which was really true. They were discussing the political situation in Egypt. One of the ladies had visited Egypt before things got so bad recently. She has a friend there, and is concerned about her.
Of course, I told them about Hoda. They are impressed with our Hoda.
One of the ladies, actually the one whose play I missed, has been involved with the AFS, too, and was interested in Hoda's participation when she was in school.
SHAR enjoy the week away but do not forget about us...I will send you emails from the US just to let you know I am thinking of you...I am sure it will be terrific to visit and I hope the pictures turn out...
How AWESOME you are LOLLY Thank you...for all of us to gather and share a meal would be perfect so far as I am concerned...So SHIRLEY Dinner tomorrow at LOLLY'S and JACK'S...on my way...LOL
Goodnight LOLLY and PAULA and JO and LORETTA...SED SHIRLEY are you still up? I know what it is like to all of a sudden have to make things fit in a smaller area...I moved from a three bed room house to a two bedroom flat!!! I can still down size at that...
I went to GG's to take her to the doctor and she was in bed and still in her pjs. I woke her up and told her we had an appointment with the doctor and she said she didn't feel like going. I told her we were out of pain pills and had to get a script for more...that made her start to get ready. Doctor didn't seem to think her ribs were broken, but did suggest she put a lidocain patch on the ribs and see if that helps. He thinks she was having reactions to the 15mg. dose of pain pills, so he has put her back on 10mg. I do hope that is the problem!
Good night my friends♥ Sending love and prayers your way...sleep well, especially HODA. She needs to get lots of sleep now because she will need the energy while she is visiting with her family!

Hi, Everyone, Getting here very late tonight. Had quite a day today. Last night, Ken's right elbow suddenly started REALLY hurting him, and he barely slept last night. (I didn't sleep much either.) He went to work today anyway, because his boss is out of town. He did manage to get a doctor's appt. for 2:00pm, so came home at lunchtime. I drove him to the doctor's--his elbow was really hurting him. They took an X-ray (which turned out normal), and did a few blood tests, and we found out he has GOUT in his elbow! They gave him a prescription for it, but he's decided not to take it yet, since he MUST go to work tomorrow, and the stuff causes diarrhea! He's taking the Apple Cider Complete I've been taking, and it's helped some already. Grateful that we discovered that stuff! We actually told a young (26-year-old) fellow who was the clerk at the lab about the Apple Cider Complete, because he said he has gout really bad! He's going to get some to take.
Glo, so glad your company has arrived, and Becky was able to make the trip! Hope she is taking it VERY easy!
Shar, enjoy Andrew's Birthday celebration! Sounds like it will be SOOOO fun!
Hoda, can't believe it's less than a week before your trip! I'm so excited for you!
Spiders in Heaven--hmmmm. I sure hope not!! That would seem more like h--- to me!!! Yikes!
Well, going to head to bed. Really need to catch up on sleep! Have said prayers for everyone, especially Lynne2, Kay, GG, and Darth. The porch light is on, and both security systems are enabled. Sleep well, with SED! God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! ♥♥Lynn♥♥ ♥♥Carolyn & Christie♥♥ I ♥ us!
I can not sleep!!! Thinking I should pack and get ready!!!
WANDA I do indeed hope it is the problem with GG'S health that the medication dosage was too high. I am glad you convinced her to go to the doctor's. Blessings on you...
ANDY so sorry to hear about KEN'S discomfort last night and today. Glad you know what it is all about. I wish him healing and it is a good discovery you made...
I will go get a cup of tea and see if this will let me sleep a bit tonight...I figure I can not pack before Monday since I leave on Wednesday...
Got back up for awhile and am looking over the posts. I have the laptop in my bed, since I brought it upstairs earlier.
Sorry that GG is having problems, Wanda. I hope the medication works. I remember having problems getting my mother to get medical help as she grew older. She would not tell us when she was ill because she did not want to go to the hospital.
Good morning DanaMo! Sounds like you've had a busy start to your summer. Not looking like rain here - it IS looking like HOT, HOT, HOT again today! Heat index over 100 again!
Well it has been busy. I am ready to slow it down a notch. Just finished another SMART class and I don't think the next one starts until next month. I still have stuff to finish at school too. Then we leave for SD on the 1st and will be gone 10 days. Before I know it the summer will be over!!! boo hoo.
Glo your pictures are gorgeous I love the arrival on she looks so happy to be running to you
ANDY go glad that a diagnosis's was made that is a easy fix on the elbow
HODA count down is getting so close I am so happy for you that you get to go to the USA
Jordyn and I caught a big grasshopper while we were out side yesterdays She was so funny with it we put it in a jar and she wanted to take it home to show mommy and daddy so we did and we released it down there at Angies house Of course Angie wasn't very appreciative of a new addition to the yard to eat her plants LOL
HI DANAMO so good to see you back on the blog and yep we are sad that the cam is broke
Good morning everyone. Yes last night was special indeed. Through the weekend now they will visit with family downstate and then Sunday night I get them here through early Thurs. It's been 4 years since they were in IL. Lots of friends and family to share the time with. Lots of birthday and Anniv celebrations to do.
Gosh I am sorry ge read GG is still struggling. I too hope the problem is just needing a med adjustment.
I may have missed it but I haven't seen Kay post yet. Maybe over the weekend we will see her. I sure hope for each day to feel better for her.
Hoda I know how that adrenalin excitement keeps one awake. I do wish you a wonderful time. TRY to get some rest in there some where :-). OK got birthday cake to bake. 7 layer cookies to make and tomorrow I do the Senior Olympic Photos again this year. Before I know it my house will be bustling with family and laughter. Weather here next week looks great for some of what is planned :-)
Good morning everyone. Been out for sausage biscuits and gravy already today. Been driving for about two weeks now and put away the cane Monday. Sure feels good to walk normal without pain.
Everyone has been talking about food so here's mine. Went to a local farm yesterday and picked some sweetcorn. It wasn't quiet mature but thats the best kind. So last night for dinner, Diane and I pigged out on fresh corn and tomatos.
didn't have the chance to say anything last night, but if you have a chance to wear some RED on this Friday to remind yourselves and others of appreciation and tribute to our Military Folks...
Glo I cannot get to your pictures yet for some reason, but I can sense and read of your enchantment and joy with the visit from your family.... daughter, son-in-law, and GRANDdaughter Elia Very happy for you
6/22/2012 :: Fledgling Update The fledglings have been sighted at various locations away from the nest ledge and occasionally visit the ledge briefly. They seem to have no interest in returning to the ledge. It is likely that the adult male is still flying with them and giving them advance hunting lessons. By the end of June, they should set out on their first long journey.
Exciting about the Falcon Wire Fledglings...thanks for the post JO.
Thanks LOLLY and JO and SHIRLEY and JUDYE...yes soon I will be in "the land of the free and the home of the brave".I can not wait.
DANA it sounds like a terrific summer you are having. I have enjoyed following your activities on FB...thanks.
Healing prayers for KAY and GG
PAULA are you going to Paradise this weekend?
What will you all be doing for the fourth of July so I can have an idea for when I am gone...I will also celebrate Canada Day on the first in the USA...
Back from Largo Central Park also stopped to see the horse around the block 8 of them I keep trying to get Jordyn to pet them put no luck I love to pet their noses so soft Now its nap time for her Janet called she left Stuart about 1030 should be hear about 3ish BBIALW I hope each and every one of you had a good day as I did with Jordyn We saw the two juvie red tail hawks at the park one lady had a nice camera got pic of the adult with half a frog in its mouth Yummy huh
Juvie is no longer in the still cam and it took Jordyn about one minute and she was out thank goodness otherwise I may have falling asleep Ok now to go read todays happening
DERN IT DRAT @#%*@#$%^*&&@@## and any other words Guess what we forgot the the Pres Obama is in Tampa today and we are to meet Janet there for dinner at the Spaghetti Whse It will be a zoo for sure
Looked to see if there was an update on GG or if Kay has stopped by. Hope for both very soon.
Still no live cam.
Jo, thank you for the July list of special events.
Hoda, how cool. Canada Day and Independence Day. Twice lucky, I say. Can only imagine your anticipation.
Red, congratulations on your speedy progress in recovery and for having a splurge with fresh corn and tomatoes. May have to go to the Farmers Market in the morning.
DanaMo, what a video for YouTube -- four legged life guards.
Glo, don't use FB so can't see the pictures but I can feel the love and excitement.
Got my "do" did today. Put my feets up. Catching up with bloggers. Hot and thunder storm warnings for these parts -- especially Shirley's area. Stay inside Shirley.
I see a juvie in the nest. Yea! So sad to use the still cam and when the nest is empty it is even sadder.
Too pooped to pop. We finished the yard and then went to church and did the prayer garden. I have been forgetting to get there and take care of it. When we got back home I did some watering with the hose. I am now bathed and shampooed and will soon be ready to run errands.
Afternoon all! Only played an hour and a half of tennis this morning - too hot!! Then sister, brother-in-law and I decided to take the kids out on the boat and pull them around on the ski tube. First time I have ever driven the boat (Denny was working). The kids had a great time and I didn't run aground once!! We were eating lunch on the boat when we started hearing thunder, so we motored on home. Made it back and docked the boat about 20 minutes before the skies opened up - it rained buckets!!
Wanda, I hope GG's problem is just a meds adjustment issue!
Still hoping for an update from Kay - hope she's having a good day.
Andy, gout in the elbow - never heard of it. Have to tell my mom, while she's here, about the Apple Cider Complete you have mentioned several times!
Glo, I can hear the excitement when you mention your time with family - so happy for you!!
Hoda, are you counting down the minutes yet??
Paula, are you headed to Paradise this weekend? With or without Mr. Studmuffin?
Sharon, happy birthday to your boy; enjoy your time with him!!
Lynne, hope the jaw is OK today where the tooth was extracted. When I had my wisdom teeth removed, the surgeon gave me a syringe-like thing that I could fill with warm salt water and then direct it right into the holes where the teeth were removed to get food particles out. Really helped!
Enjoy your weekend all - probably won't be on again tonight and tomorrow, we're leaving Bethany bright and early, headed back to Balto. for Denny's youngest niece's wedding. Big day for the Roberts family!
SANDI if I counted down the minutes there will be so many of them and it will seem so far away. As it is now it is within reach and all is indeed well... 5 more Sleeps I can not believe it.
Hoda? The sandperson wants to know if you want him to check on your Nelson abode while you are on your great adventure and, also, do you think he needs to follow you around to provide sleepy dust.

GOOD MORNING,
THURSDAY PEOPLE.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yes, Judy, I'm having that exact problem with my live feed this morning....
The weather in So Cal is June Gloom now, but it will partially burn off later and reach maybe 73°.
Perhaps one of the WE eaglets fledged (the middle one, the male). He hasn't been visible on the nest for quite awhile.
C(°ٿ°)D Jim
I agree with Lolly, Judy about 1 movie a day and they an outside play.
GLO, My heart dropped with your first report of Becky at the dr. I am so
thankful she can travel and be united with you & Dex!
Lynne I hated to lose a tooth BUT if it is going to relieve you of pain - get R Done
Good Morning, Jim. I really need to check out IWS....
Our Juvies are really hanging out for a longer time then the others did.
It's the very back molar on the top left side. No great loss....the same one on the other side has been gone for many years.
But, I can't find my Tramadol! I can't even remember the last time I took one...I don't keep them with the other meds, I hide them. Just don't like that kind of stuff sitting where anyone can find it. Now I can find it.
Hello, my name is Lynne, and my favorite color is CLEAR.
Now I *CAN'T find it.
UGH.
BBL!
Saint Anthony is working on it, Lynne2...
Glad that you are getting that tooth taken care of, Lynne. Sorry you could not find the pain medication when you needed it.
Have a great day, everyone...
I'm outta here.
P.S. I read the WE blog, and it appears he hasn't fledged, is farther down the other side of the rock than usual and is squawking for food regularly.
C(°ٿ°)D Jim
Get a prescription when you go to the dentist, Lynne.
Oh, here you all are!
Put the4 new Chelsea pictures in the Nook. Enjoy ☺
Gotta hit the trail to do some stuff at the Park.
Good hot afternoon.
Glo, so happy your daughter will be able to visit. Please have as much quiet fun as you can with family.
Jo, for you to turn down dinner out -- that is some kinda hot!
Lynne2, hate the tooth thing but you will feel better. A bad tooth can affect a lot of health issues.
Lolly, thank you so much for the recipe. Much appreciated.
BBL
Darth is fine. Recovering in his recliner with his eyes closed.
Hi all. Tooth is out, still bleeding a little, and I'm still numb so I don't know yet how much the tooth pull pain is going to be. I very seriously doubt it will even come close to the toothACHE pain! It was a 3 rooter, lots of decay inside and a small amount of abscess. Came out very quickly, and so quick in fact that he was telling me to bit down, and I didn't even feel the tooth come out!
Judie is cooking a great dinner for hot weather. What do I do? Try a new roast recipe that cooks in a slow oven for hours!! Dummy! BUT, I had thawed this roast and wanted to try this new recipe. It is cooking in a whole bottle of red wine!!!! Will let you know how it turns out. It was very simple to prepare to put in the oven. Wondering if I had done it earlier I could have used my crock pot? Probably so!
Loweeeeeda, loved the fawn pictures, but aren't they still too young to be without their momma?
Lynne, did they give you an antibiotic to take?
glad it's over, Lynne2...
hope you can rest easy tonight
You sure are typing well for someone who just a major tooth pulled !
LYNNE2 Don't for get the SALT WATER RINSE often It really helps the healing process
Remember when Jack was having tooth problems? He developed an infection in the jaw under a crown. Well, it finally healed, but this weekend it started hurting again. He went to the tooth specialist who treated him. After x rays he said he has healed and the bone was once again fine, just needed to grind down the crown a little. Whew!
looks like we have a juvie on the rainbow still can at 10
Juvie still on still cam at 11
Lynne2, so glad the tooth is gone. Agree, salt water rinse with warm water frequently. Hope you are painless by tomorrow.
Lolly, very happy Jack's healed and a crown adjustment is very easy. You won't care about the oven heat because the roast will be delicious. Been thinking that a G&T over ice cream would be nice.
Off to look at JudyE's Alaska lady.
Hi Hoda. Started packing your bags yet? Maybe something flirty in case the RMCP fellas decide to search for contraband feathers.
Bye
temp here in Martinsburg shows 100.8.
auth weather underground...
and it's still rising...
See you all later, be careful with this heat...
Best Wishes for a Good Evening....Every One
xoxo
WR both juvies are in that nest
LYNNE, hope you don't get any more tooth pain!
LOLLY, reading about your roast made me hungry. Sounds delicious!
Have to jump over to the still cam - haven't used that in a while.
I don't think I've ever seen a food post from Lolly that did NOT sound delicious !
Whoo Boy, Streets are nearly deserted, and not too much traffic....
no wonder, it's so very darn HOT !
First Full Day of Summer, I'll say !
I just wanted yo Thank you all for your prayers and great responses to the news that my family can ALL come for their vacation. In just 4 hours I will see them heading my way and in my camera lens will be ELIA geeesh I get teary just typing this. I hope I can see her well enough to focus and get that photos. If not well there will be another one or 2 or 3 or well you get the idea ;-).
Glo, so happy for you!!! It has been way too long!
Windows are now all clean. Even did the little panes on the garage door. My house shines...well, at least my windows shine. LOL
OMGm the roast smells delicious! We are getting hungry.☺ Going to fix garlic mashed potatoes and steamed veggies to go with it.
Thank you, Margy for the comment. I do love to cook!
Thought of Lynn a little while ago. Went to get the front hose to spray the garage windows and there was a huge spider. She would not have liked that! Bet there are no spiders in heaven. What do you think?☺
There may be spiders in heaven but not in Lynn's hood.
There are NO spiders in heaven. Hmmm well there are eagles oh and doves. Do either of those eat spiders? They certainly don't seem to eat the ones that walk across the cam lens.
Just ordered a pizza. Thought about having spaghetti or bratwurst, but just do not want to mess with cooking tonight.
Come over for roast, Shirley. Ready about 6:30, that would be 7:30 your time. That gives you a little while to get here.
I ordered the Pizza Hut meal deal for 10 bucks. Tasted pretty good.
Did you eat the whole thing, Sharon
I love the dessert part of it.
If spiders were in heaven by the short time that Lynn has been up there , there are not any spiders left! ♥
Glo - can't wait to see the Elia albumn
LOL Love that, Jo!
You can view all 3 eggs
Evening, all
Is the live feed down?
Taking Nick to vet for ear checkup and more shots...bbialw
Wow, Looks like cameras have had heat stroke!
Had to get in some admin training at Park. YUCK I don't work this Sat., but Park is holding first ever Great American Campout w/ all 100 spaces filled! Found out from lady I worked w/today that boss wants them to work there from 10AM until 11PM!!I think that's illegal!
She wants to take her break and go home or somewhere w/AC, not sit at info/First Aid table whole time!
Mosquitoes got me today & I wore slacks. Had sandals, so they got top of feet and ankles!Gotta take my Off everywhere.
Cooked pot roast & lots of veggies last night. Hooray for leftovers--gotta heat some portions.
Going to watch some tapes hubby made of missed tv shows. If I like them I'll watch and if not, I'll be back! ♥
There are NO spiders in heaven. Well, not anymore. Lordy, can only laugh at the thought of Lynn running into Boris.
Glo, have a wonderful visit.
Loretta, I think asking people to work 13 hours is unreasonable, especially without a break from the heat. Sorry about the mosquitoes. I hate mosquitoes and gnats.
Dinner was good. A new "keeper" per Darth.
Hope Shirley made it to Lolly's in time.
Going to watch First 48.
Sure is quiet on here tonight!
Back from the vets, Nick is done with his yearly exam, and his ear is fine.
Went to grocery store, having a nice salad for dinner.
Still can't get the live feed. I have tried IE and FF.
I see the cam has been down all day. Had anyone emailed Steve?
Lynne, glad the tooth is out.
There are NO spiders in heaven!
JudyE, I got my eagle beads! Thank you so very much!!
That Pizza Hut meal deal is pretty good!
I sent an email to OC and Steve.
Dinner was great! Went outside and worked for a while. Going to mow tomorrow, so thought I could get some weeds pulled way far front before we mow. Worked up a sweat.
Kathryn's Facebook post this evening:
I wonder how many people come home to an assortment of nerf guns in their bed...
Hmm, Hunter told me that he was going to take them to HIS room.
Outdoor responded with a "thank you"
LOL Shirley, too funny!
And Nerf bullets all over the house! Right?
PAULA THANKS FOR LETTING STEVE AND THE OD know about the cam Thought it was odd that they didn't have a message up like they normally do
Just got back from Angies look at the time I need a shower to start all over again tomorrow and I get to see my baby sister tomorrow tooo
Life is good
It feels so nice out side tonight had some rain been such a pleasent week low humidity but I know that will change soon
Jordyn and I saw the eagle at the cell phone tower this am only one like Jordyn says I love how she now looks at cell phone tower wondering if they are any in them
BBIALW need that shower all is soooo quite on the blog SHHHH
Nerf is a lot better the LEGOs LOL
Andrew and Kelsey have an arsenal of Nerf guns and ammo. They have lock-ins at WVSU and hunt each other in the halls.
Sounds like fun, Shar!
Osprey
Paula, I've been watching Saaksi 2012
She has 3 beautiful eggs in the nest
Tomorrow we are heading to Charleston and meeting Andrew, Kelsey and her family at Quaker Steak and Lube for Andrew's birthday dinner. Sunday is a fellowship picnic in Dunbar that Mattie and I will attend. Monday through Thursday Mattie is attending softball camp at WV State. We will be gone almost a whole week and get to stay with my boy that whole time! Love it!
Wow 6 more sleeps for Hoda! She will get to spend July 4th in the good ol' USA!
Jo, saw your link earlier...so glad they didn't take that cam down!
That's neat she is staying with Andrew, Sharon.
Are the kids going to live on Campus? Meaning Andrew and Kelsey?
Jo, looks like the eggs were laid May 21,24,27
So maybe the end of June or around the first part of July for hatching.
Check out the Loch of Lowes cam
I swear it snowing or sleeting on Elsa &
her chick.
Patuxent River Park Osprey Cam
Night light is great
It is time for me to get ready for bed
I almost dozed off while watching the tapes of TV shows.
Sharon enjoy your week...
Prayers are for Kay's recovery
Good Night everyone........ Don't think it can get any hotter then today - I hope not!♥
Memories of Lynn ♥
Carolyn♥ Christie♥
I DO LOVE US LOTS
Oh Jo, those eggs are pretty!
GLO must be having a great time with family by nw and I hope many many pictures through her lense...
Thanks PAULA for letting them know.
MARGY there is NO WAY you will miss my departure...thanks for he wishes though!!!
Spiders in heaven? Not in LYNN'S hood says SHAR I will have to go to the same hood then...I am supposed to have loving kindness towards all of living creatures and I still have a reflex of stepping on them...a few times I took them in a kerchief and put them outside but mostly it is the step and squich reaction that happens!!! LYNN will take care of that for us all...SWEET PRECIOUS LADY SHE IS...MISS YOU LYNN.
JUDIE I am afraid when it comes to crossing the borders to the USA our chaps, THE RCMP just wave me on by...so it is the Washington folks that will have to check the car, and I am not sure how cute they are...they hardly crack a smile.I am sure none of you will let them know about my eagle feathers!!! LOL!!!
Was on Skype with my sister in Egypt for two and a half hours today...she is besides herself with the election results and what it all means in terms of freedoms and security and economic growth.She was distraught as it looks pretty awful with the new government forming...They are already threatening the State of Isreal and there is even talk of war again...Heaven help us...This Arab Spring stuff is NOT GOOD!!!
Sorry remember you said I could vent...
And MISS LOLLY had roast and ONLY invited SHIRLEY what is the matter with the rest of us I wonder??? LOL I am sure it was delicious.
JO I am afraid to start actually packing but have made lists of what I want to take and checked them on with the Canadian Air Security site and they tell me about what I can or can not take...very cool service rather...
Looks like rain, Jo
great pics, Lowreeda!
Heading to bed
SED, ♥ and ((hugs)) for all!
Brought the laptop up to my bedroom tonight. I have been trying to get rid of the clutter here. Eventually, I may get it done.
I am still trying to recover from the increase in the members of this household. I had been putting my stuff in the extra bedrooms for so long. Now there are no extra bedrooms.
I had to drag a lot of it into my own room, and it has been overwhelming. I really do not need all of that stuff, that is true.
Nighty night time!
Sorry I missed Jo, but just checked our Park osprey's night light. Pretty cool, but not real clear to tell which nest. When Ceil and the Aquarium group came Tuesday, Greg showed them the other nest with the 2 large chicks and left that one on at that time.
Only drawback is I saw Spidies!!!!They were fast ,tho, and zipped away.
Hoda, I heard some info on TV about Egypt elections and it doesn't sound good.Reports were that group who won are against any other religions and could be trouble. Sounds like regression.If need be, hope your relatives could exit. Prayers for them.
I won't tell anyone here you have eagle feathers! Shhhhh
Shar, sounds like some wondertful events for you guys.
Gotta get off 'puter~~stuff to do.
And then over weekend I will start shoveling! LOL Daughter has trip to DC next week and when done w/work will come to our house around TH! I see field trips on the horizon!
Haven't read everything, but hope Lynne is surviving from dental appt. I usually like dentists, but I have some (awful in my mind) stuff that needs to be done. Gum Dr. says it's time for scaling and root planing! ICK He'll use novacaine. I know it's been done before, but I'm getting chicken as I approach senility!
Pleasant Feather Dreams and Good Health Prayers for ALL ;>)
LORETTA, the graves of our ancestors are in Egypt and my sister will not leave them. She said so today...we must continue to tend the graves for who are we if we do not honour the ancestors...
Thanks for your kind words of understanding, I wqatch and I am not at all liking what I am hearing or seeing on the internet!!!
Oh my, Lolly, I am sure your roast was much better than the pizza we had. Thanks for the invitation.
At bridge last night, I missed an important play by my partner and got told about it.
I told her I was distracted by the conversation at the next table, which was really true. They were discussing the political situation in Egypt. One of the ladies had visited Egypt before things got so bad recently. She has a friend there, and is concerned about her.
Of course, I told them about Hoda. They are impressed with our Hoda.
One of the ladies, actually the one whose play I missed, has been involved with the AFS, too, and was interested in Hoda's participation when she was in school.
So it turned out okay.
Paula, they are still living with Kelsey's parents. That is where we are staying for the week.
Now, if the situation in Egypt could only turn out okay, or at least improve, that would be wonderful.
Thanks SHIRLEY HUGS♥.
SHAR enjoy the week away but do not forget about us...I will send you emails from the US just to let you know I am thinking of you...I am sure it will be terrific to visit and I hope the pictures turn out...
I will second that thought SHIRLEY...I will hold it in m y heart.
PRAYERS♥
Sorry, Hoda, did not mean to leave you out nor hurt your feelings. We still have some roast....come on over tomorrow.
Oh, I want to come with Hoda, Lolly. I hope you have lots of leftovers.
I am thinking of calling it a night.
Eyes are tired and watering.
Night all! SED!!
How AWESOME you are LOLLY Thank you...for all of us to gather and share a meal would be perfect so far as I am concerned...So SHIRLEY Dinner tomorrow at LOLLY'S and JACK'S...on my way...LOL
Come on, Shirley! We can stretch the roast if I add lots of other dishes. LOL
Goodnight LOLLY and PAULA and JO and LORETTA...SED
SHIRLEY are you still up? I know what it is like to all of a sudden have to make things fit in a smaller area...I moved from a three bed room house to a two bedroom flat!!! I can still down size at that...
I Hope this works They are here
It is fun to think about being at Lolly's tomorrow.
The Freecycle people have benefited from my downsizing efforts.
My Girls
Very happy picture GLO thanks for sharing...
GLO, what wonderful pictures. The love that Elia has for you is written all over her face!
Goodnight
PRAYERS♥
I went to GG's to take her to the doctor and she was in bed and still in her pjs. I woke her up and told her we had an appointment with the doctor and she said she didn't feel like going. I told her we were out of pain pills and had to get a script for more...that made her start to get ready.
Doctor didn't seem to think her ribs were broken, but did suggest she put a lidocain patch on the ribs and see if that helps.
He thinks she was having reactions to the 15mg. dose of pain pills, so he has put her back on 10mg. I do hope that is the problem!
Good night my friends♥ Sending love and prayers your way...sleep well, especially HODA. She needs to get lots of sleep now because she will need the energy while she is visiting with her family!
Hi, Everyone,
Getting here very late tonight. Had quite a day today. Last night, Ken's right elbow suddenly started REALLY hurting him, and he barely slept last night. (I didn't sleep much either.) He went to work today anyway, because his boss is out of town. He did manage to get a doctor's appt. for 2:00pm, so came home at lunchtime. I drove him to the doctor's--his elbow was really hurting him. They took an X-ray (which turned out normal), and did a few blood tests, and we found out he has GOUT in his elbow!
They gave him a prescription for it, but he's decided not to take it yet, since he MUST go to work tomorrow, and the stuff causes diarrhea! He's taking the Apple Cider Complete I've been taking, and it's helped some already. Grateful that we discovered that stuff! We actually told a young (26-year-old) fellow who was the clerk at the lab about the Apple Cider Complete, because he said he has gout really bad! He's going to get some to take.
Glo, so glad your company has arrived, and Becky was able to make the trip! Hope she is taking it VERY easy!
Shar, enjoy Andrew's Birthday celebration! Sounds like it will be SOOOO fun!
Hoda, can't believe it's less than a week before your trip! I'm so excited for you!
Spiders in Heaven--hmmmm. I sure hope not!! That would seem more like h--- to me!!! Yikes!
Well, going to head to bed. Really need to catch up on sleep! Have said prayers for everyone, especially Lynne2, Kay, GG, and Darth. The porch light is on, and both security systems are enabled.
Sleep well, with SED! God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you!
♥♥Lynn♥♥
♥♥Carolyn & Christie♥♥
I ♥ us!
I can not sleep!!! Thinking I should pack and get ready!!!
WANDA I do indeed hope it is the problem with GG'S health that the medication dosage was too high. I am glad you convinced her to go to the doctor's. Blessings on you...
ANDY so sorry to hear about KEN'S discomfort last night and today. Glad you know what it is all about. I wish him healing and it is a good discovery you made...
I will go get a cup of tea and see if this will let me sleep a bit tonight...I figure I can not pack before Monday since I leave on Wednesday...
Goodnight.
PRAYERS♥
Good morning gLORI
Got back up for awhile and am looking over the posts. I have the laptop in my bed, since I brought it upstairs earlier.
Sorry that GG is having problems, Wanda. I hope the medication works. I remember having problems getting my mother to get medical help as she grew older. She would not tell us when she was ill because she did not want to go to the hospital.
Hope Ken is better very soon, Andy. Never heard of gout in the elbow, but it is very painful. That I do know.
I am getting excited for you, Hoda.
Going to try to sleep now. Good night, everyone.
Good morning my friends. Looks rather gloomy out here in Hagertown. Might go outside with my coffee before it's too late!
oh no!!! I'm finally on and the cam is down!
Good morning DanaMo! Sounds like you've had a busy start to your summer. Not looking like rain here - it IS looking like HOT, HOT, HOT again today! Heat index over 100 again!
Well it has been busy. I am ready to slow it down a notch. Just finished another SMART class and I don't think the next one starts until next month. I still have stuff to finish at school too. Then we leave for SD on the 1st and will be gone 10 days.
Before I know it the summer will be over!!! boo hoo.
Big green blob on the intellicast map. I hope it goes away and leads to bright sunshine.
I just got out of the pool from a nice morning swim. The dogs are so funny. They lie next to the pool and watch me.
Good Morning Eagle Buds
WANDA so hope that the meds are the issue with GG
Glo your pictures are gorgeous I love the arrival on she looks so happy to be running to you
ANDY go glad that a diagnosis's was made that is a easy fix on the elbow
HODA count down is getting so close I am so happy for you that you get to go to the USA
Jordyn and I caught a big grasshopper while we were out side yesterdays She was so funny with it we put it in a jar and she wanted to take it home to show mommy and daddy so we did and we released it down there at Angies house Of course Angie wasn't very appreciative of a new addition to the yard to eat her plants LOL
HI DANAMO so good to see you back on the blog and yep we are sad that the cam is broke
Good morning JudyE
Good Morning, DanaMo, so glad you're back!
Morning, too, to JudyE and Sandi!
GLO, what a great pic of your granddaughter running to you! Loved it.
WANDA, hope the doc is right about GG's meds and lowering the amount. Keep us posted. ♥
Good morning everyone. Yes last night was special indeed. Through the weekend now they will visit with family downstate and then Sunday night I get them here through early Thurs. It's been 4 years since they were in IL. Lots of friends and family to share the time with. Lots of birthday and Anniv celebrations to do.
Gosh I am sorry ge read GG is still struggling. I too hope the problem is just needing a med adjustment.
I may have missed it but I haven't seen Kay post yet. Maybe over the weekend we will see her. I sure hope for each day to feel better for her.
Hoda I know how that adrenalin excitement keeps one awake. I do wish you a wonderful time. TRY to get some rest in there some where :-). OK got birthday cake to bake. 7 layer cookies to make and tomorrow I do the Senior Olympic Photos again this year. Before I know it my house will be bustling with family and laughter. Weather here next week looks great for some of what is planned :-)
Glo, great pics. So glad Becky could make the trip.
Good morning,
Hot and humid here again. Hi Thelma.
Good morning everyone. Been out for sausage biscuits and gravy already today. Been driving for about two weeks now and put away the cane Monday. Sure feels good to walk normal without pain.
Everyone has been talking about food so here's mine. Went to a local farm yesterday and picked some sweetcorn. It wasn't quiet mature but thats the best kind. So last night for dinner, Diane and I pigged out on fresh corn and tomatos.
Good morning! Ahhh, good fresh corn1 Yum! Red, glad you are doing so well. I am impressed!
Glo, I love your pictures. I am so happy for you.
Wanda, I do hope it is the meds bothering GG. Hope she is up to visiting with family today.
Hoda....I am starting to miss you already. It is going to be really lonesome on here without you!
Going out to mow shortly!
Good morning - it may rain here today - I already have watered the potted plants but I love the smell of rain.
Red - Hubby and I did the same thing - sweet white corn and cantaloup! It was delicious. I am thankful for your doing so well!
Sorry Live feed is still down but glad the still cam is up.
Good morning Thelma, my friend♥
Hoda, you have less then a week until you start your journey! I am excited for you!
I am thinking of GG & Kay as I start my day. Pray the Lord's angels will look over them
Yay for you, Red. Happy you are out of pain.
Oh, sweetcorn. Yummy. I might have to pick some up at the farmer's market today.
Goor Morning Eagle Pals...
didn't have the chance to say anything last night, but if you have a chance to wear some RED on this Friday to remind yourselves and others of appreciation and tribute to our Military Folks...
there's lots of hours left in the day yet....
xo
News from the PA Falcon Wire
6/22/2012 :: Fledgling Update
The fledglings have been sighted at various locations away from the nest ledge and occasionally visit the ledge briefly. They seem to have no interest in returning to the ledge. It is likely that the adult male is still flying with them and giving them advance hunting lessons. By the end of June, they should set out on their first long journey.
Good Stuff there Jo...wonder just where those falcons will go on their first long journeys....
Maybe they will pass through Frederick Co....
Good late afternoon.
Looked to see if there was an update on GG or if Kay has stopped by. Hope for both very soon.
Still no live cam.
Jo, thank you for the July list of special events.
Hoda, how cool. Canada Day and Independence Day. Twice lucky, I say. Can only imagine your anticipation.
Red, congratulations on your speedy progress in recovery and for having a splurge with fresh corn and tomatoes. May have to go to the Farmers Market in the morning.
DanaMo, what a video for YouTube -- four legged life guards.
Glo, don't use FB so can't see the pictures but I can feel the love and excitement.
Got my "do" did today. Put my feets up. Catching up with bloggers. Hot and thunder storm warnings for these parts -- especially Shirley's area. Stay inside Shirley.
BBL
I see a juvie in the nest. Yea! So sad to use the still cam and when the nest is empty it is even sadder.
Too pooped to pop. We finished the yard and then went to church and did the prayer garden. I have been forgetting to get there and take care of it. When we got back home I did some watering with the hose. I am now bathed and shampooed and will soon be ready to run errands.
Oh, now we have two juvies!!!
Afternoon all! Only played an hour and a half of tennis this morning - too hot!! Then sister, brother-in-law and I decided to take the kids out on the boat and pull them around on the ski tube. First time I have ever driven the boat (Denny was working). The kids had a great time and I didn't run aground once!! We were eating lunch on the boat when we started hearing thunder, so we motored on home. Made it back and docked the boat about 20 minutes before the skies opened up - it rained buckets!!
Wanda, I hope GG's problem is just a meds adjustment issue!
Still hoping for an update from Kay - hope she's having a good day.
Andy, gout in the elbow - never heard of it. Have to tell my mom, while she's here, about the Apple Cider Complete you have mentioned several times!
Glo, I can hear the excitement when you mention your time with family - so happy for you!!
Hoda, are you counting down the minutes yet??
Paula, are you headed to Paradise this weekend? With or without Mr. Studmuffin?
Sharon, happy birthday to your boy; enjoy your time with him!!
Lynne, hope the jaw is OK today where the tooth was extracted. When I had my wisdom teeth removed, the surgeon gave me a syringe-like thing that I could fill with warm salt water and then direct it right into the holes where the teeth were removed to get food particles out. Really helped!
Enjoy your weekend all - probably won't be on again tonight and tomorrow, we're leaving Bethany bright and early, headed back to Balto. for Denny's youngest niece's wedding. Big day for the Roberts family!
Heading to the beach, Brother Steve is coming along.
Hope the live feed is back up.
Will check in later.
SANDI if I counted down the minutes there will be so many of them and it will seem so far away. As it is now it is within reach and all is indeed well...
5 more Sleeps
I can not believe it.
Save travels Paula. Have a great time.
Hoda? The sandperson wants to know if you want him to check on your Nelson abode while you are on your great adventure and, also, do you think he needs to follow you around to provide sleepy dust.
Could be a S P L I T
Drive safely PAULA...enjoy the beach.
ME too I would like to hear from KAY and about GG
