Good Morning!!

I see many are up and moving well ahead of me! No surprise there!!

Delphia - Prayers for Pepper. This is NOT good timing, so I pray God has more time here for him in your life. Our pets are such a comfort to us, arent they? Praying for you, too.

Hoping KAY had a good night last night and feels MUCH better today! Will call her later this afternoon and check in.

Judie said...

Delphia, so very sorry about Pepper not doing well. My heart is with you.

Sandi said...

Checking in between meetings at school. Delphia, I am so sorry to hear about Pepper not doing well. You certainly need distractions right now, but not this kind!! I am sending prayers and positive energy your way, for you and for Pepper!

Hoping to hear that Kay is feeling a little better today.

Charlie's gallbladder surgery is today? Missed that over the weekend - did read that he was back in the hospital.

Mema Jo said...

Boy, Judy you almost have a full head dress! Nest is MT now. Jenny is here this morning so I will pop in and out...

Delphia, Prayers for Pepper at the Vet this morning!

Too hot to set my feet outside - 2 days in a row for this heat.

Anxious to hear some reports on friends.

I am not really sure if today WILL be surgery day for Charlie...as I recall there was still some question as to whether yes or no today...
maybe there is more updates on another source ?? like FB ??
I did sent Carolyn a couple of text messages last evening that she would get at midnight after work...BUT...did they go through?
She usually answers at one minute past midnight...
will NOT ring her up yet...she might still be sleeping...

This was a poem read by Linda Wiseman, Kelsey's aunt, at the wedding titled "The One".

When the one whose hand you're holding
Is the one one who holds your heart
When the one whose eyes you gaze into
Gives your hopes and dreams their start,
When the one you think of first and last
Is the one who holds you tight,
And the things you plan together
Make the whole world seem just right,
When the one whom you believe in
puts their faith and trust in you,
You've found the one and only love
You'll share your whole life through.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Their vows to each other:

I promise to give you the best of myself
and to ask of you no more than you can give.

I promise to respect you as your own person
and to realize that your interests, desires and needs
are no less important than my own.

I promise to share with you my time and my
attention and to bring joy, strength and imagination
to our relationship.

I promise to keep myself open to you,
to let you see through the window of my world
into my innermost fears and feelings,
secrets and dreams.

I promise to grow along with you,
to be willing to face changes in order to keep our
relationship alive and exciting.

I promise to love you in good times and bad,
with all I have to give and all I feel inside
in the only way I know how,
completely and forever.

In this avatar is where the eaglets where when I arrived. On the far left branch up high where there are no leaves is where Bro was. To the far right where the eagle is sitting on the branch is where Missy was sitting when I arrived. They were comical. Missy would preen. Bro did not let her out do him...he would preen. Then Missy would spread her wings....Bro then spread his as if your not going to out do me up here. lol

It was something to see even without the glasses you could tell Missy (so large) compared to Bro (so small). How they were sitting was almost like straight across from each other. I did try call a couple of people to relay the inforation. Loretta thank Frank for me.

I knew I had to give myself enough time to get back to church by 7pm.
As I was thinking of the show their parents put on for us. About that time Bro flew off the branch first. Soaring around the high up part of the tree. Then further out into the sky while Missy sat on her branch. It was a beautiful sight to watch.

I guess Missy decided your not going to out do me. Off of her branch she flew. She did not circle the nest. Since Bro was soaring high. Missy decided to start soaring...oh so beautiful to see. Then she went higher and higher until the two were soaring together. Brother and Sister enjoying the skies together. Something I will remember for a long long time. Then Bro flew down into the nest and Missy to her spot on her branch up high.

I had to leave but I had a wonderful time. On the way out heading towards Shepherdstown. A beautiful doe jumped out further in the road not so close to my car. What a beauty. God has such a beautiful plan. When he created ♥

Sharon that is beautiful! I bet it brought tears to eyes! ♥

From Delphia after trip to vet

GRANNY DOG UPDATE: We are waiting on bloodwork to see how her kidneys and liver are doing, as well as checking for other things such as infection and Valley Fever. Some results should be back this afternoon, others in a few days. Pepper did eat about two tablespoons of no-sodium roast beef, and Mom and I made a quick batch of food for her that we hope she will eat (hamburger, roast beef, brown rice, green beans and scrambled eggs). Vet said she isn't terribly dehydrated, not in desperate need for fluids just yet; I'm to keep up with the Pedialyte and water by syringe. Ok to post this on the Momster blog!

Lolly said...

Thanks, Sharon! I did love the laughter....that is what weddings are all about!

Hello!

I got up from my nap and found this in my email from Kay's daughter, Julie:

KAY UPDATE

Hi Lori, I got your message. My mom has improved--she is moving around much better than before and seems to be gaining strength. I think she will be in the hospital a day or two longer because she has been nauseous again and isn't eating. I will let you know when she leaves there and goes to rehab! Thanks for your concern! Julie

Linda said...

Thanks, Lori for the update on Kay.

Sorry she has been nauseous again, but glad they will keep her until she is really ready to go to rehab. It seems as if they are always getting them out as soon as possible, and sometimes too soon!

Praying the nausea goes away soon!

The made is doing a very good job and she is almost finished, just some dusting to do and rearranging of furniture to the right spots.

Cooking comes next...

Linda said...

Lolly & Hoda - My Maid is pretty darn good, too!!

He vacuums, mops, occasionally does the toilets, COOKS (more in the winder than the summer), always cleans up after dinner unless I shoo him out of the kitchen. He DOES do windows.

He doesn't dust, rarely cleans the stove, rarely does laundry!!

He is also my gardener and yard man! He cuts, splits, and stacks the wood so we stay warm in the winter!!

I do have to sneak behind him and do the really detailed thorough cleaning, but I think I have it "made," if you know what I mean!!!

magpie said...

Appreciating all the updates on Kay, Delphia's dog Pepper, GG

Hi - finished our evening meal and I do think the rains are close by - Might not
set my plants out this time - the last storm flattened them and it seem to take forever for them to perk up.

Lori - thanks for Kay's update. The nausea can and probably is being caused by the drugs - similar to the one drug I just recently had - I'm sure Julie will let us know when Kay gets to go to rehab.

Hoda, ever since Michael was a baby, he has done the dishes every night. I put away food and wipe the counters and stove. He did this so I could get outside quickly with him and Michael.

After the kids were gone, he started cooking as he got home before me. When my back got bad he took over the vacuuming. Now, we both do laundry and I think he does it more often than me! BUT, I work in the yard with him. We have worked out a great balance, we are a team and we LOVE to cook together. Yes, our marriage is a very good thing!!

Lori, thank you for the update on Kay. I'm sure the nausea is drug-induced and she'll improve quickly as the meds are decreased. Her body has had quite a shock.

Hoda, when your maid has finished at your place, please send her along to me. I would enjoy having her around. She can even bring her dragon boat.

Thought I had missed a more detailed comment about GG. So glad it wasn't serious. Wanda, please let GG know I'm asking for her and give her a hug from me.

Surprised Charlie was released from the hospital today. Sure hope he is able to get the needed surgery before too much longer.

Delphia, sure hoping that Pepper's lab reports come back with optimistic results.

Margy, I will also miss the Kestrel babes. All six fledged and successfully, I hope.

Often we have to just gather up all our prayers and concerns for each other with a few single phrases such as Prayers for all,
Hugs For All, and Love for All...

if there is not the time to mention each and every one....personally I am not going to stress over it...I might be sorry I cannot do that, but to stress over it takes me away from my energy to say and think those prayers and thoughts...

I'm signing off for the night,
I'll probably "see you" tomorrow, but it's workday, there is meeting, and a court appearance...

Hi everyone

I am so bad about blogging these days and only 10 days left of school.

I need your power of prayer for Gina Kosla the little girl who had the transplant last year.

Seems her campath treatment may not have worked and they are thinking about bringing her back for a re-transplant eval in a few weeks after they see her bronch.

We really need some prayers for Gina to help her get thru this, I can only imagine how we would be feeling if this was Tori and I thank God everyday sometimes more that so far she is doing fantastic.

I hope everyone is well, I am only on FB these days due to school, and the ability to start living our lives outside the home. Smart phones help us stay in contact while out...

Good evening,

Trying to keep up, but not always doing very well with it.

Hunter and I put a fence and a lot of netting around my garden today. I had one tomato getting ripe and something beat me to it. Shucks!! Noticed a bite taken out of one of my green tomatoes, too. Double shucks!!

And something has knocked down several corn plants. George? Oh my, I do not want to think about that.

Maids?

Well, Kathryn told Hunter to vacuum the family room as one of his tasks for today. It looks like he made one pass through the room and then he left the vacuum sitting there. But Mom did not say to put the vacuum away.

This Hunter-tasking thing might be more work for me than for Hunter.

Two lovely pin oak trees are sitting in my driveway. I got them for $11.49 each. Hard to believe the price for trees taller than I am.

Prayers, Delphia. Hope that you have more quality time with Pepper. I know how you feel about an elderly pet.

Prayers for Gina. Hope that Kay is feeling much better tomorrow, and that Charlie get his problems attended to. Sometimes life is just not fair.

Prayers and good thoughts for everyone else who needs them.

Time to say good night. Rest well, my friends.

I have read back over most of the posts. Was hoping to hear that KAY was running down the hallways, but alas, I guess it's too soon. I guess she must have had a different surgery than JUDIE had...in and out of hospital in one day!

Thanks for the posts and phone calls about GG. Apparently I didn't mention her fall. She lost her footing and fell onto the tank of the commode. She won't go to the hospital, so I must trick her some way. She does feel better, but I would feel better to have her checked out. MTBR

Soup Kitchen tomorrow, so off to bed I go. Good night everyone...prayers. blessings and love for all♥

Lynne, we have hundreds of leeetle little toads around here. As I water they hop everywhere. Leeetle toads are cute....do NOT like big ones. They hop!!!!!

Good Evening, Everyone!

Have FINALLY caught up on the blog, but it's late, and I'm really tired, so will get back here and post the Great American Novel in the morning! Have been MIA over the weekend--for some reason, was extremely sore all over, and could hardly move! Spent as much time as possible just resting, and am better today. I'm going to call it quits for tonight, though. Please know that I've said prayers for everyone, and for every creature. Will try to list some of them tomorrow. The porch light is on, and both security systems are enabled. Sleep well, everyone. God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you!

Good "last day of the school year for me" morning, Lori! Have been reading to try and catch up - getting close!

Does anyone know when Delphia expects to get her news? I've been thinking about her a lot.

Glad to hear the Kay update, though I wish she wasn't still nauseous and in a lot of pain.

WVDana, thanks for your description of what you saw at the nest yesterday! Wish I lived close enough to just stop by like that!

Got my yellow fever shot yesterday and my prescription for the malaria meds. So far, no adverse reaction to the shot. Big surprise - when I offered my insurance card, I was told they don't participate. Patients are expected to pay at the time of service! $300 EACH!!! Now, I get to submit to insurance and see how much I get reimbursed! Denny says he doesn't remember them telling him that when he made the appointments. Grrrrr!!!

Good morning,

I am sure I could find garden gloves for Hunter, Jp, but I wonder if he would reject my "lady gloves." Actually, Will might plant the trees today, though he said that it is supposed to rain all day.

I realized last night that I did not pick up any stakes, etc., to stabilize the tree, so I will need to go back to the store for that stuff.

Will has already commented that he would like mulch around the existing trees, so we need some of that also.

Posted pictures of the new trees and the fire in Colorado on FB. Will bring them over here for non-FBers.

Good morning.

Ah, Shirley. Hunter has the same concept of house cleaning as I had when I was a teen. No chores = no games! Enjoy the pin oaks. They are lovely trees and were inexpensive. Try human hair in your garden. Get some from the hair salon, put it in an old pantyhose leg, tie it to a tomato stake. Not fool proof but helps.

I got Delphia's dogs confused. Hope Granny Dog will improve. Thinking of Delphia also.

Wanda, tell GG no more Suddenly Salad until...

Sandi, have a wonderful last day of school.

Robyn, Know how you feel. Always at least one slacker. Happy school is over for you. CONGRATULATIONS! You have really accomplished so much.

Hi Andy. Hope you're feeling better. How's Miss Emma? What ever happened about the desert house?

Hoda, cleaning out a place in the back to put the dragon boat. lol

JudyE, the loss of potential sources of research is devastating. Very sad.

Good morning everyone. Beautiful weather here once again. Nest watching is very slow or almost absent for me these days. My daughter is actually carrying on conversations on the phone and on her facebook now so she is indeed feeling better and stronger each day. That is so good since her plane trip is only a little over a week away now. Prayers for all in need. I have written down Kays address for rehab and hoping I see in my speed read of the blog a comment or 2 alerting me to the fact that she is there. Prayers continue for all in need humans and critters too. HAGD

Excitment here -- bank robbery yesterday afternoon. Third small town bank in area robbed recently. Don't know why they can't get the guy. Really good security camera shots. No disguise, same shirt & BB hat in each robbery.

We had a couple of nice pin oaks in our yard in Ohio. When we bought the house, the guys who planted our grass noticed a small pin oak in the fencerow. They said they would move it into our yard for a small fee, and we accepted the offer happily.

They worked very hard and decided that they couldn't do the other tree they had spotted, but the one they moved and another one already in the yard grew nicely and gave us lovely shade.

CarolAnne, I am having a problem with rats at my bird feeder. The cat just walked right by it yesterday. They have dug a hole in the ground I guess from under my deck and come up through the ground. I put poison down in the hole the other day but it scares me because I don't want to poison everything.

MARGY brought some very nice clothing for the Closet and will make a lot of people happy...they are LARGE sizes and we have a lot of LARGE size people, but not usually large clothing!

Hope everyone has a great day♥

EE Shar - if you can find citronella in a bottle, pour that down the hole and around the base of the feeder. Smells good & we've found it even discourages the possoms.

Good morning folks...update on Granny Dog: This morning she was still weak, slow and wobbly and I carried her from their room to the back door. She was able to walk around by herself out there to do her business and then lay in the sun on a pillow. She ate a whole slice of Boar's Head roast turkey (at this point, I'll give her anything she wants!!) and had her Pedialyte and a syringe of water.

I still have not heard back on my tests or hers. I have an EEG this morning, they're checking for Complex Partial Seizures and dysfunction due to past head injuries (I've had at least five concussions, one major). The test takes 90 minutes! Blech. At least it's not invasive. Not sure when I'll get the results of that back.

My disability appeal is in the hands of the final review board now, so I'm also waiting on their decision. So much waiting....

Hope everyone has a great day, positive thoughts to all who need them, and I thank you all for yours!

Delphia, prayers coming your way and love for Granny Dog.

C/A, now tell us something that REALLY works to get rid of moles. We have very sandy soil and lots of earth worms. The moles love us and they are tearing up my yard. Their tunnels push up the soil and sod. We walk on the tunnels and tramp them back down, Jack sets a fierce trap (that kills) but it is not working.

Soon, as it gets hotter and drier, the armadillos will be back. Groan...........

stronghunter said...

Thinking of you, Delphia, and hoping for you to receive good news. Waiting is so hard.

Lolly said...

I need to say something to Jack about walking. Do not want to start back up, but we really need to get with it! When we were doing lots of yard work we gave it up, now we need to start back up. Probably will help my back.

CarolAnne said...

Lolly - You might have already tried this:
You can mix your own mole repellent by mixing 6oz of castor oil and 2 tbsp of Murphy’s Oil Soap or dish soap in one gallon of water to make a concentrate. Mix one ounce of concentrate per gallon of water and apply to the lawn. Make sure to reapply the homemade mole repellent after rain or watering.

Linda said...

WVDana - This post is for you:

I decided to do some reading quietly last night instead of posting to the blog because I was very troubled about your post last evening and felt it best to pray and sleep on it.

Your post was upsetting because it brought me right back to February and March when our Dear Lynn was very upset with you about similar behavior.  You knew Lynn was upset with you and you knew others were as well.

We watched some of it play out on the Blog as you posted.  Many of us watched as it played out on FaceBook.  We  did not know the details, nor do we need to know.  We just knew it was there.

You backed out of the Blog for a while.  Things settled down and we became a happy group once again.  We could feel the tension subside.

When the list of attendees for our April gathering was published, your name appeared and I worried, not for me, but for Lynn, that this would upset her.

Lynn graciously put it aside for the sake of the group and because I believe she knew in her heart of hearts, this would be the last Shepherdstown Eaglet Momsters event she would be attending.  She loved this group dearly.  We were her lifeline.  And for many of us, Lynn was ours!  We were so thankful to have those final moments with Lynn.

We are all grieving in our own ways and I am sure I can say for most of us, if not all, that this Blog just has not been the same without Lynn.  She kept up with all of us, our activities, our aches and pains, our joys, our sorrows, and everything in between.

So, please, , I ask you not to air your grievances on the Blog as you started to last night and as you have done in the past.  We just don't want that type of behavior and attitude here.  When this happened before, I honestly felt it was time for me to leave the Blog, as I do not like this kind of behavior.  I won't stay if it continues.

I believe we were working through our grief, towards a happier Blog and you have decided to come back.  You will never find a group where each and every person gets along without some differences.  You may still have issues with some on this Blog.  Resolving those issues with those individuals requires true repentance, forgiveness and time.  Sometimes it takes a lot of time.

As JudyE said, all of us have posts that get overlooked at times.  Sometimes we don't remember to mention each and every prayer request when we list them on our post, but in most cases it is NOT intentional.

Remember in Matthew 7, where Jesus asks us why do we worry about the spec in our brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in our own eye.  We should all look within first.  We all have our "logs."

It is not my place to judge as I do not know your grievances, but I would respectfully ask that you honor Lynn, if no one else, and not drive a wedge in our group.

Thank you!

stronghunter said...

Amen, Linda.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Oh Linda, that is absolutely true! Thank you so much!

glo said...

Ahhh getting past our own feelings for the group and learning from those who have shown us so graciously how to do that. That is what keeps this Blog very much alive. It is made of humans. It will never be perfect BUT over all these years and there are indeed many many I have never found a group of folks anywhere like those who are here. They ALL of them are now a part of my family in a very real way. I honestly can not and do not keep up with all of them all the time I just can't and if I have ever hurt you personally because you think I have slighted you I have never done that intentionally to anyone on here. I have learned to never expect all of my posts to be read or responded to which is very fair as I can not read and respond to everyone else's either. I read when I can and I respond when i can and I always lift up the members of this blog and all the critters they represent in prayer. I do not read the specifics of all and if animal related I do skim over very very fast, thats me and I need you to accept that about me. I have been known to take a few breaks from blogging when the going gets tough at this nest or other places. Not being here does not mean I do not continue to care. Not all of you will even see or read this. Thats OK. God Bless you all and God Bless Liesl and I too miss Lynn very very much . She has left talon prints all over the place hasn't she :-)

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Linda, thank you for your kind post. You are so gracious. That is the very reason I am not on the blog anymore very often. Just no time for drama in my peaceful little life. But I do stay caught up the goings on most of the time. I love you all and consider you my family. Again, thank you for putting into words what I have been thinking for a while now. Love and hugs!

stronghunter said...

Well said, Glo.

If we were afraid to post a response or good wish because were afraid of offending someone we missed, we would never be able to say anything.

wvgal_dana said...

@Linda

I went to my loving Lynn's house. We held each other. I told her I thought she knew something she wasn't sharing with us and I wanted to be there for her. She said to me that she just couldn't go through it again. We cried together and loved together and held each other. Lynn is and always will be my dear dear dear friend. I miss her so much. Yes she did put it aside because we talked about it then and there. No she is not here to tell all of you what all we talked about. Some will believe it never even happened. Which is SAD.

I am sorry that you feel a need to leave the blog.

In the past when you was not here and someone hurt different people that are no longer here. Nothing was done about it and that person isn't here but gets other people to post things. So we lost some very good people. Even today those people we lost will say when I talk to them on the phone. No it wasn't that person actually that made me leave the blog or things that was said. It was just my time to find something else. God works in mysterious ways.

I ask for prayer that someone told me they were not a christian. I NEVER once said the persons name or that they were part of our group. So how did people find out who I was asking prayer for???????????????????????????

About me backing off the blog and you all becoming a happy group. I feel sorry that you all could attack me and it was ok. Your happiness was NOT through God. To say that me not being here relieve the tension. Was the work of Satan.

You ask me not to put my grievances on the blog yet you can write this on the blog when you could have sent an EMAIL....

The wedge you speak of was driven a long time back before you even came on the blog. So I am not the one driving that wedge. It is the person waiting for me to mess up and use that to drive the wedge deeper.

As far as the Bible there are many scriptures I could also quote. I am not going to use the Bible to do that. The Lord knows what each of us do and HE IS THE ONE IN CHARGE!!!! NOT ANY HUMAN....

Next time you want to do this after taking time away from the blog. You have my email address....PLEASE DO NOT USE THE BLOG TO AIR THIS TYPE OF ATTACK TOWARDS ME. I DON'T CARE HOW MANY AGREE WITH YOU.

GOD THE FATHER KNOWS MY HEART.

I LOVE LYNN AND ALWAYS WILL♥

I LOVE CAROLYN AND FAMILY AND CHRISTIE AND SHANNON♥♥♥♥♥♥

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference.

I love how JudyE ends things a lot but I thing some feel they only have difficults and sickness in their lives". I wished our group could come to learn this honestly. I leave you with this

Now getting back to my reading the blog and catching up:

Glo I know you lady and you are wonderful. Not everyone can be here to say when a prayer request is ask for. Yes I will pray for so in so Dana but many were there and could have. You are in my heart Glo (((HUGS))).

Andy I love it when you say, "I've said prayers for everyone and every creature." You don't have to
name everyone. It is just so special I know "ALL" are included. Of course, with you like
me if someone is missed God can take care of that. God Bless You Lady You Are A Good Woman
That Walks In The Light.

Sandi you are very welcome for the nest update. I wished a lot of you lived closer too. Isn't that
something that they don't take insurance for those shots. I pray that the insurance will cover them
for you and Dennis. So glad Sandi that today is last day of school :)

Terrible SAD news about the Autusim research center. Dear Lord setting them back treatment
for years so so sad JudyE :(

Shirley I seen the fires on tv. Went to your blog left you a message. It just brings me to tears since I was out there and to see this. I feel so badly
for those that have lost their homes.

Lori something tells me you need a (((((HUG))))

Glo I am so excited for you to get to see your family!!!

Judie I hope Grace and Audrey are doing fine.

CarolAnne they will finally catch him. We had one around here same way. I believe it was "months and months" but they did finally catch him. Seem like it should have been an easy catch but wasn't don't
know why.
Have a Good Day also CarolAnne :)

Lolly you have prayer for your back.

Delphia you have been in prayer for the results of the test to come back. Also about your
disability. Now adding about the EEG. Granny dog has been on the list too. ((hugs))

Hope what Wanda said works-citronella.

If I missed anyone I am sorry.

If you care to pray I need to go have the nerve burnt in my cervical and in my spine. The insurance does not pay much and leaves me thousands to pay. Due to the deducibles I have to meet each year. I can't take any pain medication. So it is only God that gets me through each day. I PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME FOR HOW HE HAS HELPED ME. Sunday I could hardly close the car door and it was very painful just driving to drive 1 1/2miles to home.

They are having a special guess in Wednesday night. I would love to be in the house of the Lord to hear this man speak.

So if you care to pray for me and the pain. ok if you don't that is ok too....God knows our hearts. You don't even need to tell me you are praying for me. God Bless All Of You.

floralgirl said...

Oh the drama, woe is me :)
You know, I get so tired of you playing the victim, dana, and as you can see, so do many others on here. I have tried to keep personal disagreements off this blog, as I asked you to do the day you showed up at my house uninvited, but you just couldn't do it.
Many people on here know you were speaking of me when you posted your hateful rants comparing me to the very overused wolf in sheep's clothing and the truly bizarre dolphin out of water. Those were not prayers, but vicious rants posted in anger. You have repeatedly used your religious beliefs as a weapon towards me. You are a bully, and when you don't get your way you attack everyone and play the victim yourself. Grow up and act like an adult, your actions have consequences and you must accept them. If you are going to speak about me on the blog, have the courage to use my name when you attack me or don't mention me at all. I have hesitated to write this, because it will just make you post more of your nonsense, but honestly, enough is enough, please stop it. My apologies to all rational people for posting this here.

I love Kritter Kaptures. Lynn saw on my fb page where I was going to try to kick it into full gear this year and wished me well. I have been so very very busy doing so much of what I love Kapturing Kritters with my camera :-). The veterinary practice I have used for 10 years has had a recent retiree and a new Vet has bought out his part of the practice. She has hired me to photograph both vets and all of the staff with their pets to put on their lobby waiting room wall. When folks come in to the Animal Hospital they will see immediately that it is staffed by folks who also have and love their pets interacting with those special Kritters. I have 6 photo shoots done and 2 to go. It has been a dream come true for me to be able to do this. I am hoping of course that in addition having my work displayed there will help to build my own local business. Economically I know getting photos of your pets is not on the top of many folks lists now but some can and some will. I am off to photograph a couple of cats who actually live there at the clinic and show last weeks photos to one of the staff. She has a Great Dane Golden Lab mix about 14 months old. She herself might way 100 lbs and is about 5 feet tall. She handled the dog so well and the pictures are great. His head is almost twice the size of hers. I can hardly wait to see it on the wall. Of course she may choose to share a different one. ALl photos on the wall will be 16 by 20. Nice big great photos of special folks in the lives of many "Kritters" where I live.. I am off to have some fun.

wvgal_dana said...

To Megan no people did not know who I was talking about until you let them know..

Sharon and Sissy yes you both have been waiting awhile for this. The only thing I can say to all of you that feel the way you do towards me and Megan I am an adult but yes a child of God's. I had only ask for prayer for someone that told me "they were not a Christian". A person that is in our group just thought I had mean't someone that wasn't a Christian and they started praying for them. Megan as you say ranting nothing would have been said if you all had not attack me on the blog. NO ONE KNEW WHO I WAS ASKING THAT PRAYER FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NIV Matthew 6:14
For if you forgive man when they sin again you, you heavenly Father will also forgive you. v15But if you do not forgive men their sins, you Father will not forgive your sins.

CarolAnne said...

I am sadden by all this "stuff".
When I stumbled upon this blog & lurked, I was amazed at the cohesiveness of such a varied group. But alas I had forgotten it is made up of just people with emotions, as the eagles are just eagles, which we project our emotions on.

I understood the 'no politics' and occasionally wished for "no religion" as to me that can be as dividing as politics. I believe in prayer, and offer it freely, but I do not want or need to be told who to pray for. That is not living your religion, telling people how they "must" do it.

With heavy heart I wish for the occupants of this blog to talk openly & freely about eagles and everyday life, without the gushing & self promoting.

wvgal_dana said...
