stronghunter said...

Shep is having some breakfast, and here is Belle!!

She dropped a stick on the sleeping babies. Maybe she's waking them up.

stronghunter said...

She just left it there and took off.

Raining pretty steady right now in Bluefield.

The family is gathering at Nila's sister's house at 12:30 to go together to the church for her viewing and funeral. I am so dreading today but will be so glad when it is over. I have a feeling this is going to be a loud, praising the Lord funeral.

hedgie said...

Just beat the next round of showers and got the leaves blown off the front deck. What a mess they had made in a just a few days, and I hope that's the end of the hangers-on!! Not storming, just raining, and see the cam lens has raindrops, too.

Mema Jo said...

Just signing in this Sat morning
Wondering how the large stick got into the nest laying across the egg cup...

Good Morning

WV sUSAn said...

Margy, saw the osprey vid and group decided it's not Lady, but perhaps an offspring. This one has similar Y on the head and made itself right at home on the perch. Exciting!!

WV sUSAn said...

Shep is cleaning house by eating his way across the nest.

paula eagleholic said...

Morning all

We had rain overnight..it is 61 and muggy this morning but not raining

Judie said...

LYNN! So happy to see you were visiting AND that you tackled the leaves. Liesl will be spoiled but you know she is cared for while you are healing. Again, your amazing Carolyn kept us updated.

Carolyn, wish the daughters are fun shower time. Agree, hard to believe you have an almost grown up daughter.

Andy, you and Ken have a safe trip home. So happy you had such a fun vacation.

Wanda, thank you for the update on Family Friday. Sometime, I'll have to meet Jayden and make another visit to GG. She is one cool lady.

Sandy, enjoy the day and meeting with your former student.

Margy? Shoes and socks? I suggest sandels and socks.

Sharon, difficult day. Nila would be so grateful.

Babes were being fed when I first looked and then plotzed. Will check again now. They sure are looking healthy.

Off to begin my day.

stronghunter said...

Jo, Belle dropped it there and took off.

paula eagleholic said...

Sharon...hope the service today provide you some closure

Lynn. You go girl!

paula eagleholic said...

Oh sun is out :)

Gotta go for a walk

Judie said...

My bad. Good morning to everyone I missed. No offense intended.

Good morning Shirley, Hoda, DanaMo, Thelma, Paula, Lori, and all others.

Bye

stronghunter said...

Shep has moved the stick. I thought he might clunk the babies with it in the process.

stronghunter said...

Good morning, Judie.

Mema Jo said...

WOWSER! I see sunshine here this morning! At least My Sunshine - Lynn.
You should be ready for a nap.. take it a little easy..

stronghunter said...

Shep has placed the large stick into the nest rail at about nine.

Lolly said...

Good morning! Have been watching Shep. I was wondering how the stick got into the cup and was surprised to read that Belle placed it there. What was she thinking? LOL But watching Shep trying to move it was funny and then trying to figure out how to cover the peaglets was funny too.

stronghunter said...

Baby poking out from under Shep.

Lolly said...

Lynn, good to see you on here this morning. Did not know Liesl had gone to camp. Oh, she will be spoiiled for sure!

Interesting to see the rain drops roll off and down Shep's back.

Lolly said...

Good morning, Shirley!!☺

stronghunter said...

Oh yes, I see those raindrops rolling down Shep's back.

Lolly said...

The nest is once again looking like a big mess. However, it is nice to see the pantry full.

stronghunter said...

Hi, Lolly!

stronghunter said...

It doesn't look like this eagle family will be going hungry.

Lolly said...

Belle needs to return. She knows how to keep those peaglets covered and dry.

Lolly said...

Time to read the paper before I run out of coffee. lol Need to get a move on so we can start on our day in the yard. It is sunny here, started out at 51 and up to 59 presently.

Have a great day! I did see on fb that you are having nasty weather over that way. Guess you are getting what we had a couple days ago. It is amazing to drive around now and see pastures, ditches , etc standing in water.

magpie said...

That has got to be ticklish
with the babies wiggling underneath

wonder if Eagles laugh.......

stronghunter said...

Isn't that Belle?

magpie said...

think so Shirley

Shep flew out a few mins ago
and Belle came in almost right away

stronghunter said...

Sometimes I think I am seeing Belle, then I see the spot on the head.

paula eagleholic said...
