Wishing safety for those getting the really nasty weather.
Rain here, 13" snow at cottage.
JUDYE - when our adopted cat first came to us, whenever we were at the counter it would jump up there. Lots of trial & error and we found out he likes running water. Got a cat fountain and the cat has never gotten on the counter again.
Off to splish splash in the rain so the dogs can get their walk in.
Have a good day all - will lurk as time allows.

I was up 6----count 'em SIX------times during the night to piddle. This is getting ridiculous! No good rest that way. Already had one short nap this morning. Need to find out how to re-set bladder time clock!

Today is the Leap Year Celebration for some. Hubby's brother's b-day was
yesterday. He missed it by one day.
I love granola, Lynn. My snack every afternoon is strawberries, topped with yogurt and a little bit of granola.
Lynn - do you need to cut off your tea at 8:00 in order to not get up through
the night? It may work
I know, I know....you do not like yogurt either! Right?
Poor Shep! He is making me feel miserable!! But, so very thankful it is rain and not snow!!!!

JudyE, I've gotten money back from Boomer before. Came right through, just had to be taped together. Found a $20 and a $10 last time, and wasn't looking for it. This time I know he ate it!

I was asleep and woke to the calling of an eagle. Forgot I have West End up too. That is a beautiful site....the ocean waves moving behind the eagle. AWESOME.

I like yogurt, Lolly, Dannon Brand in particular...just about can't do without it for the Calcium supplementation, and like granola in it, bananas..

Hi Margy, I'm home. Just walked in the door. That is A LOT of rain out there to drive in. Many places with standing water, so be careful anyone who ventures out.
Having trouble with the cam myself. It keeps cutting out. I have wondered if moisture in the works causes the problems. Hmmm????

Just finished ordering George's medication online. This is the first time I have done it this way. The vet is no longer going to have it, so they gave me the information for online ordering. Hope it works well.
Well, I thought that the live cam was not working because Shep had not moved for so long, but just as I was about to hit the refresh button, danged if he didn't move.

I thought I saw some snow in the nest area. Maybe not. It seems to be raining there now. Shep does not look too comfy to me.
I forgot to tell you....Annie has been eating! She eats just a little at a time, but she is eating! And, not just the Fancy Feast but her canned Science Diet as well. Guess she was just having a few bad days. Also, saw her drinking. Yea!
I am now off to start my day. Have a good one!

If she doesn't eat Fancy Feast, consider trying Blue Buffalo. Their dog food is SOOO good, that Emma cries like a baby while I'm preparing hers, and she sucks it up like a shop vac! Bet their cat food is great, too. Mighty glad your sweetie ate some when you got home. Prayers for her continue!
Kubby & I watched a really good movie on TV last night--"Changeling" with Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich. It's directed by Clint Eastwood. Quite an unforgettable movie, about a true story--the Chicken Coop Murders in Wineville, CA back in 1928. All about the corruption in the L.A. Police Department at that time, too. Really chilling, since it's a true story! JUDIE, have you seen this one? It's right up your alley, so to speak.

No relief for Shep yet though.

Jo...with the dehydration issues, can't really cut off my evening fluids.....leaning more towards water doesn't seem to make a difference, tho'.

hey there! Just heard that Davy Jones has died of a heart attack at age 66 :(
Lynne I remember him so very well.
Davy Jones, the lead singer of The Monkees, died this morning after suffering a heart attack in Indiantown, Fla., his representative confirmed to ABC News. He was 66.
