Never tried walking backward on a tread mill! Do not like walking forward on a treadmill...therefore I walk on the carpet in front of the TV in my den. We had a treadmill but I could not get rid of it fast enough!!!
I said bye before the split....so now I better......split!!! LOL
Got about 5" of beautiful white snow overnight! It is so peaceful and white outside.
Dennis is out tapping the maple trees for syrup. I told him to start weeks ago, but he thought it was too soon. NOT!! Hopefully we will get enough before it is too late!! Love that fresh homemade maple syrup!
Cannot imagine walking backwards on a treadmill. I would want to ask the treadmill people to show me how. Demonstrate, please!
Last time I had to do the treadmill thing, they asked that I please not try to jump off the thing. They said that they had one man who tried to jump over the bars. Wow!
I am back Jordyn is down for a nap fell asleep in the car wow is she heavy to carry in she is out like a light I surprised her She thought we were going to Largo Park but we didn't was another foggy day so that would mean all the equipment would be wet wet like yesterday so I continued to drive Drove by the park and she goes OMA you missed the turn and I told her I had a surprise for her She said in excitement I love surprises we gonna see eagles- I said no another surprise we continued to drive as as I approached the Clearwater causeway she YELLED oh Boy DOLPHINS I sure wish I would have gotten a picture of her face it was priceless as I looked at her in the rearview mirror Got some good pic and also bought a picture package that they are doing on green screen Looks like she is shaking hands with Panama the dolphin, and hugging two otters I will see if I can scan them in my puter or have Angies do it her scanner is better than mine Mine scans things in small I am uploading Jordyn dance video to the Sunrise Staff facebook page I had 11 to do got 4 more to do

Jack and I have been out on business. Just read Linda's post about maple syrup. I am fascinated I was going to move in with Megan because of all the birds she sees. Now I may move in with Linda . Questions Linda! What's the ratio on boiling down the syrup? Where does he boil it down?
I too love LINDA'S maple syrup post...in Québec we had Cabane à Sucre and the smell was heavenly during boil down phase and sometimes we made taffy too...what a special treat LINDA!!! Good on you and DENNIS.
Sorry I disappeared there for a while. Had a big spreadsheet open!!
The ratio when you boil the sap down is about 40 to 1..... That is a lot of sap!!
We usually have a big pot on the the wood stove and keep filling it as it boils down. Then, it has to get to a certain temperature. That is the determining factor. Dennis does it. I watch and taste!!
You can tell from the amber color when you are getting close, too!!
It just takes SO MUCH sap. We are lucky if we get a couple quarts and we tap about 6 trees. We would do more if we had the supplies and places to cook and store it.
I had to do that retro-walking after meniscus surgery.
They start you REAL slow and those treadmills have really good side rails to hold on to. They also put that "kill swich" on your wrist as a precaution.
Most times they stay right there with you in beginning therapy.
I a waiting for the last video to unload on the Sunrise Staff Page it is being really stubborn for some reason then will share to Angies wall at least that is easier than uploading them sometimes FB is a PIA on uploading and right in the middle of uploading it told me to sign back in may have to do the one over again because of it
Good afternoon, my dear friends. Doing a little better today, so thought I would pop on for a minute. Still sleeping a lot....which is good for many reasons. I have been in LM and staying caught up. Chemo starts a week from today.
Rain overnight here--with some t'storms. Temp has hovered around 42° all day. Raining again now. No winds YET!
Thanks for all of your love, support, prayers and candles. You are all a great support system. Now if one of you had a magical cure for this stupid nausea!!!
Lolly, so very sad to hear about the poisoned dogs. :( Hoda, they should have given the cougar his one-trap chance.... :(
Kay, TENS units are great! I used one during therapy after a bad wrist fx. and it helped a LOT!
Good to see that Lynne2 popped in last evening for a few.
Too many things to remember to comment on....but know that I care!
Thanks for joining me with your cup of coffee Margy. Weather is crazy Lori.. No wind here yet and a moment ago the sun peeked out of the gray sky - took me by surprise.......... Margy I went over to the candles again!
LINDA....thanks for the info on the maple syrup. Now where is your wood stove? Jack and I were both interested. Jack remembered the ratio was high. We loved visiting in Vermont and going to maple producing places. I buy it here but it is so expensive.
It has just now reached 60 here. 20 degrees cooler than yesterday, but the sun is shining.
Lynn, thanks for sticking your head in!!! We certainly miss you and we too wish we had the capability to wave a magic wand and make the nausea disappear. How about we keep you in continuous prayer!!!♥ ☺
Paula - it only came out a few seconds each time... I guess it was only down here in the valley and didn't make it over Braddock mountain into Frederick
Missing you, Lynn! So happy to see a post from you. So sorry you are feeling so lousy. Keeping you in prayer... ♥
Lolly - Our wood stove is in the basement It is our primary source of heat in the house. We do use supplemental electrical baseboard heat, but that wood stove is filled and cranking all winter!!
Hi everyone! Whew....glad I finally got a second to check in. Haven't read back, but hope we've heard from Lynn today!
I should be back "online" sometime Sunday PM, thanks to the joint efforts of Sandi and Paula!! Paula picked up the computer Sandi was giving to me while on the eastern shore, and then Paula found a hard drive and installed it, AND, she is delivering it on Sunday....and bringing NICK for playtime with Daisy and Puddles!! I'll make sure the camera is charged up so I can get some pictures!
I had never agreed with making Marijuana legal. Since I have seen the wonders of how it helps people I have changed my mind. It even helps people with seizures. It takes a drs perscription and is given like that. I believe it should be made legal by a drs perscription. Not just people growing it and selling it.
Boy, all the precictions of temps in the upper 60s here today...FAIL. Our thermometer outside here never got past 40!! Been drizzling and foggy all day. Threat of rain and storms gone now except for parts of the eastern shore and way south of here.
In comes Shep with a big fish for Belle. She voccalizes announcing his arrival. He hps up to nine beranch and then later spreads a wing but is still on the branch. Belle is eating. Eggs are exposed.
Some vocalizing and Belle continues to eat. Shep hops down from nine branch and is sitting on the railing at eleven...He just hopped back up to nine branch again. Eggs continue to be exposed.
BLEAH...BLAH..SICKO..DISGUSTING..HORRIBLE..ARGH!!!!!!!!! Picked up my big mug of tea to take a drink without lookig...felt something on the straw......flicked straw away from my mouth and it was a SB!!!!!!!!!!!! Excuse me, but DAMN. UGH........a mouthful and lipstick coat of toothpaste has helpped, but had to put perfume on my fingers to get rid of smell. IT fell into the tea..........he is now flushed. I have the heebie-jeebies.
The very BEST thing that happened today is to read LYNN'S post today... Sorry about the nausea LYNN. My day has been pretty good and SHARON do you want me to send you some snow!!! LOL!!! Glad the nine hour shift is done...enjoy SUPPA!!!.
Thanks LYNNE for updating us about your visit with PAULA...yes do take oictures please.
My Dearest Lynn don't go outside please for any reason. Yes the winds have picked up. Praying you will be safe from any trees or flying objects and your electric takes on. (((((hugs))))
It might get a little scarey for everyone if it hit the nest. Will remind us older bloggers. When Spunky stay out the storm in the rain and very high winds.
been out side playing with Jordyn only in for her a bathroom break Waitin to go to dinner with Angie and carl she is driving the pedal race car so cute having so much fun hope everything is ok with soooo many comments BBIALW
Lynn, well, I have to admit...at first I thought you were just nauseous, not good a stink bug but in a way glad that was it. But, how horrible and disgusting!!!
Hey, Lynne! Sorry I missed you! Your Sunday sounds wonderful. Hope the day is beautiful for the dogs to romp!!! Made me smile really BIG, to read your post. Thanks Sandi and Paula!!!♥☺
Maybe we should warn Paula about Lynne's stink bug farm???? She should do a shake down before she leaves.
Neighbors have waited till last minute to bring stuff in that will blow away. She was a mess with her table unbrella. It was opening up and pulling her along. Her husband ran out and took it out of her arms. He can handle it. I didn't mean to laugh but it was funny looking.
I was looking for Sandi... Some areas of DE have power outage - She is in Sussex Cnty as far as I know.
Couch time helped bring down the swelling, Lynn. My stomach is retching because of that darn SB. Since it has happen to me before, I try to look into my glass or cup before gulping! Sometimes I forget and I know I'm gonna pay with another one...
Very happy to see Lynn stopped by but very sorry she had an unpleasant meeting with a SB. Still holding hands.
Lynne2, what a nice gesture from Sandi and Paula. We will be so happy to have you back with us. The door is always unlocked for you.
Nothing much going on here for weather just yet. Heavy rain earlier but quiet now. Hate the high winds with all the huge tall trees we have. Makes me a bit anxious.
Hoda, be careful if, or should I say when, you go out since it is still snowing.
Thanks JUDIE...it was an ice grippers and trekking poles and extra sweater kind of a day but it was also so very beautiful and soft and cheerful kind of a day...It is all good...
Linda, when we went to Colorado for Thanksgiving, there was a wood burning stove in the snow room. It was almost too warm! Also had the baseboard heaters, but they did nothing! LOL We went through an amazing amount of wood while we were there. We had the stove going and the fireplace. LOL
LOLLY, Check on JACK'S family history there has to be Argentinian romantic blood in him...oh my I see a huge ranch and Senior ruling over the spread and meeting the young Seniorita and what a wonderful love story it all is...my only confusion is that I see him with a beret like Che Gevera while in reality he would be wearing a cowboy hat à la Argentine!!!
SHIRLEY if you are ever down I have a extra bedroom just remember that OK I have lots of pic that I took with my camera also just havn't posted them no time today with playing with Jordyn
Lolly - Our wood stove heats up the room it is in downstairs to the point of almost being too hot as well. But it is perfect, if you want to go down and get rid of a chill.
We can turn it down if we want to stay down there and watch TV.
We actually planned to watch tv down there this winter, but we haven't done so but a couple times.
We are trying to decide if we want to fix that room up even more. We could enjoy warm nights there in the winter, and cool nights down there in the heat of the summer.
We'll see!! The first couple years we were here, it just seemed weird to me to be in the basement!! I am getting used to the idea now!!
Belle gets up and digs in the cup and is now facing one still digging. The nest is swaying yet she seems well with it alltucks the eggs in under her and settles back in with a roll facing six.
all caught up and Angies hasn't called yet YEAH and so sorry for the SB making you loose your lunch Now to go get ready to leave run a rake through my wind blown hair And the nest is rocking had to turn down the sound STAY SAFE ONE AND ALL
The winds started a lot later than I was expecting...and maybe not as fierce, yet, here, but still pretty strong......
The winds have blown the clouds out of the South Western skies here, so when you are done watching the eagles, go look for Jupiter Venus and The Baby Moon in that order headed to the horizon....if you are lucky and have good horizon views, you might see Mercury also, more or less in the same pathway....lower than the other three
I am in for the night JO...I ran my errands and the next thing I have to do outside is a ten in the morning yoga class tomorrow...I have two yoga classes to go to tomorrow, ten and four. It is snowing heavily here right now so I am glad to be in for the evening. Thank you for caring.♥
Jupiter, Venus and Baby Moon...got it MARGY. I do not think I will be able to see Mercury here too many mountains in the way...LOL I hope you had a good day...I love the information you give...thanks.
Lynn horrified right along with you about the Stinkbug...I am so sorry ! Feel like saying a few bad words right now about that.... but good to see you join us for awhile this afternoon ♥
MARGY Tell your Naturalist Friend in NY, " It is a tough life he leads but someone has got to live it!!!" Weekend boiling down Maple Syrup...LOL I wish!!!
About Wood Stoves, I used to oootch close to them, backside to the stove, well, it caused the threads in my bib overalls back in those days...to wear out from the heat...but I miss those days...
glad you found your sentimental treasure, Dana those things are important... I have a few necklaces that James has made in Summer Church Camps, and some that my brother Fred has made from coins for me, I wear them often

Oh, Judy, I love the picture of Jordyn and Winter. I will have to show this to Hunter.
♥ just checking in for a second
Sorry I disappeared there for a while. Had a big spreadsheet open!!
The ratio when you boil the sap down is about 40 to 1..... That is a lot of sap!!
We usually have a big pot on the the wood stove and keep filling it as it boils down. Then, it has to get to a certain temperature. That is the determining factor. Dennis does it. I watch and taste!!

It just takes SO MUCH sap. We are lucky if we get a couple quarts and we tap about 6 trees. We would do more if we had the supplies and places to cook and store it.
Linda, if you get too much, just send it my way!
I really hope that Wanda was joking us about the treadmill backwards walking!
She's been know to like a good joke!
The dry flugg looks great! It even covered up that piece of pecan pie! lol
Ok Jo! ♥ Wish we had a bunch to share!!
They really do have folks with knee surgeries walk backwards on a treadmill. Called retro-walking.
Judy I don't think Jordyn realizes how many youngsters wish you were their
OMA. You are exposing her to so many
things.
Sharon - get out! I believe you but I
won't try it!
There is this gentleman walker who I see walking and he does walk backwards some of the time.
I miss Lynn and am thinking of her
all day long
Wow! 73 degrees here.
Me too on the missing Lynn!
I miss Lynn, too!
Retro-Walking
Sharon you are on the ball with info -
Wanda is really going to do this!
Can't wait to have her tell us how
it went.........

Storming here.
I had to do that retro-walking after meniscus surgery.

Still overcast here Shirley...glad you are getting the nice temps!

Is WV a state that has legalized medical marajuana?
Judy, Hunter enjoyed the pictures of Jordyn with Winter. Kathryn will like it, too. I wish we lived close enough to visit that aquarium.
Lori, is medical marijuana supposed to help with nausea?
Missed the SWITCH - I don't see a black spot on that head.
BELLE FACING 10.
Shirley, they use it for nausea and to stimulate appetite.
Paula - it only came out a few seconds each time... I guess it was only down here in the valley and didn't make it
over Braddock mountain into Frederick
Taking a break ♥
Dang!! I missed Lynn!!
Missing you, Lynn! So happy to see a post from you. So sorry you are feeling so lousy. Keeping you in prayer... ♥

Medical Marijuana
Doesn't look like it, Lori. But it is allowed in DC.
Lori - That is a Stargazer Lily that my son, Adam sent me in a bouquet of flowers. The arrangement had beautiful deep blue Iris and Stargazer Lilies!!
No blooming here, yet!!
Yay, Lynne!!!
Beautiful lilies, but I can't stand the way they smell when they open!!
Don't know if I should tell my son or not. He has sent them twice in the past year.
I miss you all too!!!
Boy, all the precictions of temps in the upper 60s here today...FAIL. Our thermometer outside here never got past 40!! Been drizzling and foggy all day. Threat of rain and storms gone now except for parts of the eastern shore and way south of here.
The lily is gorgeous, Linda. And the StarGazer smells sooo good!
BELLE IS TALKING....CALLING.
SHEP COMES IN OVER 7 WITH A BIG FISH!!!
Kathryn said it is a lot cooler where she is than it is here, Lynne. We got to 73 degrees.
Wow! Lynne, That is wonderful news!
Will be good to have you back! ♥
SHEP JUST LEFT TO LEAVE BELLE WITH HER FISH THAT SHE WASN'T GOING TO SHARE!
In comes Shep with a big fish for Belle. She voccalizes announcing his arrival. He hps up to nine beranch and then later spreads a wing but is still on the branch. Belle is eating. Eggs are exposed.

all the yanking and pulling..
Good to see Sweet Lynn came in♥♥
Nice to see Lynne2 came in ...so glad to see you too.
♥ LYNN.
Oh Poor Lynn I'm so sorry but I too have to say YUCK!!!!
Oh Great, LYNN!
That is the LAST thing you need!
As you don't have enough to make you feel queasy!!
So sorry!!! Vent away, Gal!!
No medical marijuana in WV. :(
Belle sure is chowing down!
Lynne2---what a blessing that Sandi and Paula are getting you fixed up with a puter!!!!! Momsters rock!!!
Turns out that I am also dealing with a sinus infection.....but already on a/b's for the UTI still, so guess it will work for that, too.
I HAVE to clarify...NOT the SB post mind you!!! UGH LYNN!!!
On the good news front, the swelling in my feet/ankles seems to be gone!
Shar---you folks enjoy your dinner out!
Linda, so cool that you are making your own syrup!
Lynn can't you grow a tiny bit somewhere lol
I love you Lynn rub Liesl's tummy for me please ♥♥
If you need anything you can call me. I will try to go get it for you ok?
That can mess up your stomach, along with everything else, Lynn. Drainage.......
Lynn - glad to hear the swelling is down
Probably because you have been horizontal for a couple days now.
Hang in there....
We're loving you, holding your hand, and praying you through this, Lynn.♥
DanaMo---when does Aric arrive.
Oh-oh.....here's the WIND!
EVERYONE AROUND THE HEDGESVILLE, MARTINSBURG AREA BUTTON DOWN THE HATCHES THE WIND IS STARTING TO PICK UP. THE SKY LOOKS VERY SCARY!!!!!
That should be arrive??
Wind should be hitting nest in very short order.......hang on, Belle!
Oh boy just read back where your swelling has gone down. PRAISES!!!
So happy happy happy (:
That is one improvement lets have more.....♥
been out side playing with Jordyn only in for her a bathroom break Waitin to go to dinner with Angie and carl she is driving the pedal race car so cute having so much fun hope everything is ok with soooo many comments BBIALW
Some areas
of DE have power outage - She is in
Sussex Cnty as far as I know.
Couch time helped bring down the swelling, Lynn. My stomach is
retching because of that darn SB.
Since it has happen to me before, I try
to look into my glass or cup before
gulping! Sometimes I forget and I know
I'm gonna pay with another one...
Quick visit before heading to the scullery.
Nest looks quiet also.
Mind over matter didn't work. SB won....lost lunch...back to sofa I go.
UGH!! :o(
Lovely sunset on nest.
Sun is shining on the nest. Color is beautiful!
Beautiful golden hue at the nest and how magnificent it all looks.
Lynn, check fb! Someone sent you flowers! Beautiful!!!!
Hoda, Jack and I had a laugh over your comment on fb on one of the pics.
Wind starting at the nest...
Wind is picking up at the nest now.
LYNN, loving you through this! Prayers continue. ((Big hugs)) Hope you feel less of this nausea very soon!
LOL
No wind here (yet?)
Wind isn't that much at the nest and
I hope it doesn't get any worse.
Belle left her nestovers at 5:00 spot
Hoda your day sounds peaceful ♥
Jack and I saw trees leafing out today. Also, saw some trees in bloom, possibly pear trees. Hold on to your hats.....Spring is a comin!!!!
Sorry Lynn that the SB won out dang it...(((((((hugs))))))).
Davenport is being hit with high winds badly.
Just came in and have about 10min before I have to leave in 3hrs there are over 100 comments to read wow need to start reading
HI LYNN just seeing your comment now You will always be in my thoughts and prayers EAGLE((((((HUGS)))))))

Never had one before!
Belle gets up and digs in the cup and is now facing one still digging. The nest is swaying yet she seems well with it alltucks the eggs in under her and settles back in with a roll facing six.
Shep is turning those eggs and turning himself around..I love his wiggle wiggle wiggle onto the eggs he does it a lot. (:
LOL!!! LOLLY and JACK
No black spot that is Belle sorry everyone. I was so interested in the wiggle wiggle lol
all caught up and Angies hasn't called yet YEAH and so sorry for the SB making you loose your lunch Now to go get ready to leave run a rake through my wind blown hair And the nest is rocking had to turn down the sound STAY SAFE ONE AND ALL
both eagle in nest
Belle flys In
fight over the nestovers
poof
In comes Shep and tries to get the left overs...off gets Belle off the cup and takes it away from him and he flies off while she eats.
Belle finishes the left overs and goes back to the cup facing one and settles down again incubating.
Hoda who is that on the eggs now.
I missed it..........
If you look down on the ground you may
get dizzy!
JO the way I see it it is BELLE on incubating.
Thanks - I see you comment published as I was asking the question.......
Are you going out this evening???
Watching Private Practice it is good.
The winds started a lot later than I was expecting...and maybe not as fierce, yet, here, but still pretty strong......
The winds have blown the clouds out of the South Western skies here, so when you are done watching the eagles, go look for Jupiter Venus and The Baby Moon in that order headed to the horizon....if you are lucky and have good horizon views, you might see Mercury also, more or less in the same pathway....lower than the other three
Hello Eagle Pals xoxox
I am in for the night JO...I ran my errands and the next thing I have to do outside is a ten in the morning yoga class tomorrow...I have two yoga classes to go to tomorrow, ten and four.
It is snowing heavily here right now so I am glad to be in for the evening. Thank you for caring.♥
TRIPLE SPLIT approaching also....
That was a blowy exchange, almost looks like Shep got a lot of help from the wind, when he launched
I love my watch Ed got me Christmas 2008. So Happy St. Anthony and God found it for me. I put it on every morning. awwwwww I feel so connected.
Blackwater cam is down, as Lisa posts on that site....storm-related....
but Wow, a headless fish was finally brought into the nest !
Jupiter, Venus and Baby Moon...got it MARGY. I do not think I will be able to see Mercury here too many mountains in the way...LOL I hope you had a good day...I love the information you give...thanks.
Lynn
horrified right along with you about the Stinkbug...I am so sorry !
Feel like saying a few bad words right now about that....
but good to see you join us for awhile this afternoon
♥
About Maple Syrup:
from my NY Naturalist friend today:
"My sap buckets are
pretty much full so I will be making syrup this weekend. "
MARGY Tell your Naturalist Friend in NY, " It is a tough life he leads but someone has got to live it!!!" Weekend boiling down Maple Syrup...LOL I wish!!!
About Wood Stoves, I used to oootch close to them, backside to the stove, well, it caused the threads in my bib overalls back in those days...to wear out from the heat...but I miss those days...
glad you found your sentimental treasure, Dana
those things are important...
I have a few necklaces that James has made in Summer Church Camps, and some that my brother Fred has made from coins for me, I wear them often
Baby moon up and very bright in a very clear sky!
