Good morning...I'm on the MegaBus! Free wifi and I never leave home without my computer! LOL! I like to be able to download my pictures.
I'm off, (in more ways than one don't you know), to do something. : ) It is still hard using someone elses' computer but I am blessed to be able to do that. I hope mine will get well soon. I have faith, I hope. : ) Holler if we have a visit.

My brother and his wife left this morning from a phone call. I don't know much other than her brother was put on Hospice.
I pray they make it in time. I am praying for my brother and his wife as they must know the jounrey he will be taking with Jesus to God.

PAULA, loved my class yesterday at Sistos. I was the only one since I requested appplique, but they have lots of quilting classes. I took a class and made a wall hanging last year. All that piece work isn't for this directionally challenged girl! They are great teachers over there.

Thanks, LORI ! It was among some Christmas candle avatars and I thought it also a lovely reminder of our candle tribute site. In Spring, Summer and Fall, I love purty yeller flowers and in the Winter I turn to candles to warm my mood. Here in my little abode I have four candles a-glowing right now !

Linda, glad you are getting your decorating done. When I was going thru my Mom's things, it brought back many good memories. I have a lot of Christmas ornaments that she made, or that used to be on her tree, or that my Dad gave me. Certainly lends for nice memories when decorating the tree.

CONGRATULATIONS REDSKINS FANS FOR YOUR CHRISTMAS WIN.
The skies cleared out for a short while today and was able to see the pretty blue colour...fresh snow on the mountains and it feels like a little heaven here today.
Paula, I have really pampered Bella all day - carried her up and down the stairs to go outside, even put a heating pad on her back while she slept on the sofa. About 20 min. ago, I carried her downstairs and took her outside to pee. When she came back inside, she ran right up the stairs to the treats in the living room. When I put her dinner down, she inhaled it as usual and then climbed her doggie stairs back up onto the sofa and burrowed under her blanket. She seems fine now so I guess the problem resolved itself. Thanks for asking!

Well, I have to say, Nick is not the least bit interested in the Christmas tree or the ornaments. He did take a stuffed Snowman head that hangs on the doorknob off last night while I was out, but he didn't chew it! We'll see how he does with presents under the tree.

When they were kittens we have to pull them out from under the stove almost every day. Missy (Miss Chevious) found an opening in the upholstery of my recliner and in she'd go. That was like pulling an elephant through a keyhole. She thought it was play.

Going to absent myself for a few days I think. Computer seems to have picked up the nasty VISTA virus someplace. Get it cleared up & after a day or two comes back.

HODA where do you get the energy I am so pooped when I get home from work YUK they have me scheduled one day from 10-7pm can't complain if they give some preferential treatment then they do all so we have to stick what the puter generates Some people didn't even get scheduled for work that week it was rolled out because they don't have their availability open only 6-3 or 7-4 and the computer will not pick those hours because only Dept Mgr work those hours or office people I have mine from7-7 so 12 hours the puter plays with and I get my 40 hours I tried to explain to some associate and they don't get it if they would open up their availability then they would get the hours but they are stubborn and I do believe this new boss means business open up or get out basically I can't believe the time and I wonder why my neck is killing me so I am heading to the chair nothing good on tv see if I have something on the DVR to watch

I just finished watching Hallmark movie
Kay---I wore the same outfit that I wore for retiree luncheon. Brown slacks and green Christmas shirt. The service was great.....a beautiful soloist in the choir; Pastor John played guitar; there was cellist playing. 4 of the bell choirs played. Loved it!! And has refreshments afterwards in fellowship hall!
SKINS did us proud today! A bit too late in the season to do any good, but.....maybe there's hope for net year!

Thirty degrees here now. It has gotten colder. I was shopping in a sweatshirt today.

Kay, yes---John is the one going through the divorce. Had to laugh on Thanksgiving when he showed up at Shannon's Mom's for dinner......he had let his hair grow a bit and it was CURLY! He seems to be doing well. We also now have a female assoc. pastor!
There are a total of 5 bell choirs, but the children didn't perform this time.
The sanctuary was full of poinsettias, and new propane candles all around. I'm not sure of the membership numbers, but we had a full main floor, and a few in the balconies.
The church is very old.....used as a hospital during the Civil War. A VERY large bequest a couple of years ago allowed for new roof and new windows---miss the OLD glass from those 1800's, but these are definitely airtight!
LOL---the night of the kids wedding rehearsal (May 29th!) the A/C stopped working and there was leaking into the sanctuary! Thank goodness a rush job was achieved and all was well by the next afternoon!
Missed the Redskins game today because I had too much shopping to do.
I really found some good gifts, so it was worth it.

We went to iHop for an early dinner. Chris had breakfast food, and I had chicken fried steak w/ mashed taters. COOL seniors discount....Age 55+: Buy one meal at regular price and 2nd meal equal or lesser value is free! So I got off with a $15 tab!

I think the temp here was in the high 40s and I shed my jacket to run into the mall. I had a pretty decent parking space.
I would not have stayed out there long without a coat. I get cold pretty easily, but I did not want to mess with a jacket and all of the packages I expected to have when I left.

I am ready for the sofa....news should start in a couple of minutes. Liesl seems ready, too....but have my doubts she'll be ready for bed yet after being crated for almost 6 hrs. BBIALW.
I need to head upstairs. Tomorrow will begin early. After I get Hunter off to school, I have to take Flash to the vet. He is still limping and is grouchy sometimes. We think maybe the grouchiness is because he is in pain.

When is Hunter's last day of school. Laurel and the boy's last day was Friday. They are off for the next two weeks.

52 here and we have a nice fire this evening. Big storm headed our way tomorrow. Laurel and the boys are ringing the Salvation Army bell outside of the Kroger grocery store. They get more money when families ring the bell. The church organizes this. Laurel is worried about the weather as the storms are due late afternoon. Blizzard conditions in the panhandle.
Just as I thought---wiggle worm the whole time!!! What a hoot she is----quickly found where Harley had licked my chin and didn't want to leave it alone!

Well I am back and it was a very good evening. Excellent readers and we had Barber Harmony SIngers and the church was very nicely decorated and many people were there both the main floor and the balcony were full.Sang Christmas songs and had punch and cookies and life is good socializing with people.
The roads were icy tonight...I hope the sand trucks come out overnight...
JUDYE LITTLE PUMPKIN is so cute dancing and she follows really well...I could hear her Grandmama cheering her at the end...Thanks for sharing.

Never got back here last night--fell asleep in front of the TV again! We've been watching a bunch of Christmas movies that we recorded. Most of them are from Hallmark channel, and some from the Turner network.
