Pumpkin rolls reminds me of a dessert that was brought in for the Funeral reception we had Friday. It was a Red Velvet roll. Red Velvet cake, rolled up with cream cheese icing filling...it was beautiful to look at but, I didn't get to taste it. Worth baking, when I get in the mood to be domestic, here at the house:)

Good morning! Lori, I'm guessing you are here but not posting. Heard Bella's nails clicking on the hardwood floors at 5:30 - she was pacing. But again, wouldn't come downstairs on her own - waited for me to pick her up, and again, she hasn't eaten. Something's up. Still pitch black at the nest.

Angies camera took such good pictures of the boats I have on FB also She has to take her camera to the DR the pictures are fuzzy when she zooms odd huh not on video Lens needs cleaned probably she has gotten it wet more that once so I wonder if that has anything to do with it

No, I don't see the tail eathers any more, Shirley. But that black hanging thing is still twirling around just above the nest rail between 7 - 8. Pretty soon it's shrivel up and drop.
At school reading back - looks like I missed a great performance by Miss Belle this AM, letting Shep know who's boss! =) When I went to make the bed, I stepped in something wet. Bella had peed all over the bottom of the bedspread - that's what all the toenail clicking was about at 5:30! So, i had laundry to do before leaving for school. Great way to start a week!! Only 4 days, I can do this! Basketball game after school that I'll be staying to watch so I'll miss the evening visit. Will try to check in during the day - maybe I'll catch the eagles in the nest. Good morning everybody. Haven't even been on the computer since Friday. Had a great day Saturday with our NA Christmas dinner and speaker meeting. Yesterday, I started getting sick with the head crud, sore throat, snotty nose, ugh!!!! Didn't sleep well last night. I got a flu shot on Friday and now I have a red swollen place on my arm. THIS TOO SHALL PASS! WAHWAHWAH!
Four day work week! YAY!

Poor Shar.......ice pack to the arm and ibuprofen for it AND the throat. If you are snotty or coughing, of course, take something with decongestant and some Mucinex! Feel better.
As for poor Bella....sounds like a vet apptmt. may be in order, Sandi. Maybe Lynne2 will chime in with advice.
I slept really well...was only up ONCE! How unusual. MAybe going so long without iced tea last evening was the secret, ya' think??

Hoda, the Bell choir has several concerts a year. This one wasn't just them---the regular adult singing choir was half of the program.

Nest looks beautiful this AM and there seems to be no wind! Nice day for eagles! My enrichment kids (1st half hour of each day) were writing thank you letters to send to US troops, so I put the cam up on the Smartboard, but we didn't see any eagle action. Right now, i have a student in the room taking his winter state test in math (DE kids take the state test on the computer in the fall, the winter, and again in the spring so we can measure growth). When he doesn't need me to read a question to him, I can work on school work, so I have the cam up (but not on the Smartboard - too big of a distraction!) So maybe I'll get lucky and see them at some point this morning.

We are having a good time. Got here yesterday around noonish. Went to see all the lights (see FB haven't posted to the blog yet). Today I walked down to GMA while the others slept, but I will have to try to go earlier tomorrow. Today we are going shopping. Then to the 9/11 memorial and some real NY pizza!!!!

LYNN by the time I need to get out there I am sure the sand and salt trucks will have been out and I do not need to go on the highway today...It will warm up some and I will be back in again before sundown...This is the time of year for ice now...I start thinking of the Christmas travellers and wish them well. Many people come back to this area to spend their Christmas and they come by car from Alberta and Western British Columbia...I hope they slow down when they hit this valley...

Good morning! Oh, I can picture DanaMo's trip clearly! My trip to NYC with Michael is the only time I have been there...the weekend before Christmas. I loved Rockefeller center. The tree sparkles! It snowed while we were there, too. Loved it!
Lynn, that is funny. I thought "How did Lynn know about St. Andrew". Then I thought maybe I had told you when we went to the St. Andrew Lodge in CO. Duh! Anyway, I think it is great that they ring the bell. It is teaching the boys so much!

Another ARGH incident with the PO. Mom received an MT envelope from me. Someone stole her Christmas card. And it was such a pretty (and expensive) card.....thank goodness there was no check in it. I am angry.
