You are always so good at warning us about splits, Margy, but this one kind of sneaked up. I was surprised when I saw that I was on the other side. Guess I'd better check back to see if I missed anything.

Lolly said...

Thanks Margy for checking up on Lynn. Glad she is still with family. Liesl will be happy to see her.

Going to go prepare dinner. We are having meatballs. Hmmm??? Wondering if "Meatball" is eating meatballs tonight. lol

Some kind of bright at the Sycamore Palace.....
and Jo, I see YOUR Sycamore Palace is Back ! But we sure enjoyed the other avatars for a few days ☺

Kay said...

JEWElS, thanks for updates. Having a good meal and avoiding rush hour traffic. Your Momma and Sis are smart cookies !

JUDYE must be having computer problems, big time. She has Thurs/Fri off--hope she gets it all ironed out.

Kay said...

HODA, have always heard and said, "slower than molasses", but "slower than cold molasses in January" is far more descriptive ! Sorry to hear about that bleeder, but glad you're okay now !

Mema Jo said...

Brought the Sycamore Palace back to us.
Moon must be shinning brightly for our
cam.

Lolly - "meatball" ate meatballs! Hooray

stronghunter said...

Kathryn just made the mistake of telling Hunter that if he is too tired to do his homework, he can go to bed and she will wake him up at 5:00 to finish it. He immediately became exhausted.

Her first mistake was believing him when he said he did not have much to do.

Mema Jo said...

Shirley I guess we will find out at
5 in the morning just what the 'early to bed' pans out to be.

At 9 I will be watching Criminal Minds

Christy should be pulling in very shortly to Lynn's. She should get an
early bedtime after her soak in the bubles.

stronghunter said...

Glad to see that "Meatball" ate her meatballs, Jo.

Lolly said...

Yea! Glad Meatball ate meatballs. Was telling Jack about her as we had our dinner. He was concerned about a child not eating meat. So glad she ate them tonight.

magpie said...

Loly
I could have used some of your meatballs, with my noodles and corn tonight!
Guess I am the vegetarian tonight.
I DO need to be adopted ♥

stronghunter said...

Hunter usually does his homework as soon as he gets off the bus. That has worked very well.

Can't say that I did that when mine were growing up. I usually waited awhile, but it was Kathryn's idea, and has served us well.

Costume Lady said...

I've been searching to find some word from Lynn. Carolyn stated that she will not have the robot to do her surgery...I feel so badly about that, because she was seeming to be comforted with that arrangement. The Lord will guide the surgeon's hand and all will be just fine!

My doctor is setting me up an appointment to see an orthopedist to give me a REAL HONEST TO GOODNESS NEW KNEE! Secretary will call me tomorrow with the date. Hope it doesn't take long!

GG's doctor has cancer, so her treatments have ceased. Set up an appointment with her Dr. Que.

Survivor time:)

Jewels said...

Yes they are pretty smart cookies... Mom has just called be back in a few

Costume Lady said...

Glad Alexis is back to eating meat...important to a growing beauty, such as she:)

magpie said...

dear me, Wanda...
good for you and your soon-to-be-new-KNEE,
sad about GG's doctor, and the end of her current treatments...hope there is a good arrangement there to be made for her and a recovery, for the doctor....

stronghunter said...

Happy for you, Wanda. A new knee!

stronghunter said...

Prayers for GG and for her doctor.

Linda said...

Good Evening Dearest Ones.....

Waiting and praying with you to hear from Lynn this evening.

Had a busy working day and have to catch up while we wait for Lynn.

Hope everyone is doing well tonight..

Mema Jo said...

Wanda - In the future I think you will
out distance me with a new knee! Good
on you! ♥
I hope GG will get along with her new
doc and not upset about her regular doc.

Jewels said...

Ok, mom is on her way home from Christies. They like the dr, sounds optimistic...leave all details for her to explain...I am feeling much better now. I am sure she will be on later once she gets Leisl her dinner and in bed. :) love to all!

Lolly said...

Yea, Wanda! So so glad you are getting a new knee! Bionic Wanda!

But, so sorry to hear about GG's doctor and stopping treatments? I would have thought he would have just transferred her care to another doctor to continue the treatment.

paula eagleholic said...

Oh my 239 comments.

Did we have an eagle visit this evening?

Our nest looks good.

Just got home around 8, waiting for dinner to finish, then I'll get caught up.

Lolly said...

NCSuzan said...

Good Evening Eagle boys and girls! I don't think anyone has mentioned voting today.

Hoda, sorry for your dental problem. Hope you are not in too much discomfort.

So sorry about GG's doctor.

Eagerly waiting for Lynn's return. Know she has to be exhausted.

The PPO babies are discovering their surroundings. They are so cute.

Kay said...

WANDA, glad about the upcoming new knee, hope it happens soon ! The gal I had lunch with today has two new knees. One gives her trouble going down a set of stairs, but otherwise she's very happy with them. Sad for GG and her doctor--prayers !

stronghunter said...

Hoda, so sorry about the problems at the dentist's this morning. That was no way to spend your day.

Jewels said...

I am sure Mema Jo...... Just wish I would have insisted on going today. She sounded tied but in good spirits. Vacation leave coming up. Will be talking to my 911 director tomorrow if she comes in. If not, will send her a email as that she checks regularly.

Wanda, a new knee for you? That's great. Aren't we fortunate to live in a time where things like a new knee are possible? Now if only medical costs were reasonable it would be perfect!

paula eagleholic said...

Kay, hope Seth feels OK tomorrow!

Jo, our courthouse does allow cell phones now.

Lori, glad your Dad is hopefully headed home tomorrow.

Shirley, I used to grow that grass for kitties when I had one.

paula eagleholic said...

Jewels, it's good Christie went with her, you can be with her at/after surgery...important then too!

Linda said...

CarolAnne - It's so fun getting to know you and it is so obvious you are so much like us! You fit right in with your love of family and animals of all kinds, love of nature and it's beauty!! It's really a pleasure to have you part of our group.

I'm new this year, too, and can tell you there is no group of supporters, prayer warriors, and special friends like you will find on this blog. These momsters have truly become family to me and I love them so very much.

They have already seen me through a few very difficult times in my life this year and knowing you're being loved and supported by such Godly woman is such a blessing!!

stronghunter said...

So far, I haven't seen the grass again. But yesterday's grass did show up sometime overnight or early this morning.

you helped a lot of people today at work...even though we know you would have rather been with Mom
(( Hugs ♥ ))

Hoda said...

THaNKS JEWEL for the report on your MOM...will look forward to LYNN checking in.

I was not expecting to spend so long in the dentist's chair. She has given me other crowns and never so long. She is a perfectionist and I trust her work. It just became a bit fatiguing to be seated up side down angle from 9:00 AM to 11:40AM.
In yoga we do a pose called downward facing dog, and I became very concerned that I would drool with such a numb mouth!!LOL!!! Tlenol tablet is working well. I could take another one before I go to bed too and she told me to swich warm water with salt to ease the pain later on the evening...All is well thank you.

Mema Jo said...

Paula - That is good to hear that cell phones can go in with you - I suppose I have not been in the courthouse for
over a year.

magpie said...

CarolAnne...
I can't label my pictures either!
but I'll try to learn along with you.
Thanks for the identifications of those wonderful people in your pictures ♥ ☺

Lolly said...

CarolAnne...Keeshonds are my favorite dogs, we have had two. Well, the first one was not full blood but looked it. Your dog does not look like her momma!

As I have blathered on & posted pics of all things cottage, I will finish up with a pic on my blog of the interior of our little piece of paradise.

CarolAnne said...

Lolly, the two dogs are actually sisters, both rescues from a puppy mill. They were 2 of 8. Only their coloring looked like the parents. The mom & dad were also rescued & hardly looked like the breed they were suppose to be. So sad that such situations exist.

Lolly said...

(((Hugs))) Hoda! So many having toothy problems!!! Hope you sleep well tonight!

Jo, he was on top of the pillar by the pot but I can't tell now where he is. LOL!

Paula, thank you for asking, I actually feel pretty good. I go to the pulmonologist tomorrow. who knows what she'll say this time.

hedgie said...

I'M HOME!!!!! ired, but feeling good! Things went well. Surgery will probably be Tues. or Weds. Not da Vinci or lapasroscopis---the lap takes 3-4 hours. A regular 4" incision route takes 1 1/2. Epidural, so no real concern about the respiratory status. If all goes well, I should come home the 2nd day after surgery!!! SUITS ME to a T!!! Pathology report will determine whether chemo is necessary, but he thinks it probably will not be required!!!

Your prayers have worked so far---keep them going, please!!! I felt you all with me all day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

NCSuzan said...

Jo, on the other blog are pictures of them trying to capture her and later Tracy gives a detailed report of the visit to the vet.

NCSuzan said...

Lynn, great that you are back and that you seem comfortable with the surgery. And no treatment afterwards is wonderful.

Kay said...

Wahoo ! LYNN, we've been waiting for you ! So glad you are pleased with the plans and liked the doctor. We certainly were with you all day, just as we will be next week ! I'll bet Leisl is delighted to have you home ! When you catch up with the posts you'll see what a great job Jewels did in keeping us in the loop. You've raised a couple of lovely daughters !!! Get some good rest now.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Linda said...

Oh, Lynn - So glad you're home and feeling good about your appointment and the upcoming surgery.

Will keep the prayers coming, Gal, for sure. Love you!!!

hedgie said...

They rushed us to the hospital to get some labwork done (primarily so the blood bank would have a heads up that I have 2 strange antibodies in my blood, so even tho' I won't LIKELY need it, they have to have an exact match ready) so we didn't beat rush-hour. Had a great dinner at The Cheesecake Factory along with a Bloody Mary!

Hoda said...

LYNN SOOOOOOOO VERY GLAD YOU ARE HOME. Welcome home dear precious Lady.
Jewel did you proud and kept with us and it helped because she was standing up for you and made us feel better...you done well bringing her up...
Good news that you are OK with the incesion and that you feel good about the amount of time predicted at the hospital...GOD'S GRACE ALWAYS BE WITH YOU DEAR LYNN.
Every night from now till you come home from the hospital I will light a candle for you that you may know health and strenght and the love we all have for you is God's gift to you that HE CARES.

My heart is settled, I will go make a cup of tea. VERY GLAD YOU ARE HOME. Extra scratch behind the ears for LIESL. I hope she was good today as she waited for her MOM to come home...

Lolly said...

Hey, Lynn!!! We have been waiting for you! So has Liesl, I bet! It sounds good. It all sounds good. You know we will keep those prayers going!!! While I was walking today I was thinking of you. (((Hugs))) So glad you like the doctor!

paula eagleholic said...

There are also options their for type of font, size and color. You just type it in the area where the pictures are loaded.

hedgie said...

Now to go back and catch up with you'uns!!!

Lynn, so glad you are home and got such good news. Sissy and I are at the ER with her burned fingers.

paula eagleholic said...

LOL at Liesl confiscating the toys!

paula eagleholic said...

Ha Ha Lynn, we were talking about YOU a lot!

NatureNut said...

Hooray!!! I finished reading just awhile ago & see LYNN is back!!!
Sounds like a good quick plan of attack!! I couldn't get online at work---but was praying at 2 PM.
When I arrived, a monarch greeted me flying South and a young buck ran across the front yard! Sure they were bringing good wishes for Lynn!

Lynne2 said...

Hi all, just popping in to catch the latest news.

Lynn, so glad you are having surgery in such a timely fashion and that chemo will likely not be needed! Prayers will continue of course!

Sorry to hear of Hoda's dental bleed, and Sissy's burnt fingers and GG's Dr. Prayers for all of them.

Glad NCSuz is feeling well, and hope for a good report from her Dr tomorrow!

Wanda, so exciting about your new knee! I'm so jealous!

Kay said...

With LYNN safely home I can relax a bit and head for bed n' book. Would stay up for word about SISSY's blistered fingers, but I know ER time can drag on and on and on---so will be praying for her comfort. I have been there, done that and it is no fun !

Prayers, too, for all on our list, and any needs we don't even know about. God does !

Wishing our dental patients a pain free and restful night ! Take that Ibuprofen and/or Tylonol and settle in for sweet dreams.

See you tomorrow ! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Lynne2 said...

Regarding the captions on the pictures....you can do as Paula described, and in addition to that, you can actually click on a picture you've posted and you'll get options at the bottom, one of which is caption. That's how I do mine on my blog.

Glad Seth's knee is OK!

hedgie said...

CarolAnne, you must be a real athlete to even consider cross-country skiing---strenous!!!!!
SO cool that you have a nesting pair near the cabin!!! And neat that you can watch your trail cam on the net!! I would love a guest pass to your cam!!!!! You probably well understand what I go through here with the deer and corn! Of course, the squirrels and coons get plenty of it, but I have spent a fortune on corn!! I now have a timer feeder....so it's much better than what it was! It holds 160#...and thankfully the price is down this year!

Good to see your SON avatar, Kay!!! Handsome dude!

Suzan, good to see you with us today! How are you feeling?? Finding out they can do this surgery with an epidural was such a LOAD off my mind!!!! They will have a pulmonologist on hand just in case, tho'!!!! I guess in case the sedative needs to be increased.

Andy, patio looks so nice and very inviting. Wish we could all come sit a spell!

I'm up to 1PM!!! And Liesl is ready for bed. Let me give a few minutes lap time and I'll BBIALW!

I was with the prayers for Lynn at 2pm. I just know she felt them.

Hi Lynn so glad you are home to rest now. Ok epidural good not a problem then for respiratory problems to develop...good!! Prayer that report comes back no need for chemo. Better 1 1/2 than the 3-4 hours. Good to go for home 2 day after surgery. Keeping the family in prayers also. Cause I know this is a rough time for them too. I loved the story of Liesl and the toys hee hee love that doggie.

Linda I am watching CMA Awayrds-love the singers!! Using DVR for CSI and other programs.

Pryers for your Dad CarolAnne he is so funny ( :

NcSuzan added you to prayer list for appointment tomorrow with pulmolnologist. Praying it goes well for you.

Kay that will be nice if they put a cam up for the eagle nest near the Metro Park. Let us know if it happens.

Kay praying you will be ok and not start feeling pain tomorrow on how you had to twist yourself to keep from falling. I too wish Seth would have seen a dr. but now you have updated about him. I guess he will be ok. I'm sure they will be taping those cords to the floor.

Hoda sorry you was in that chair for that long. Sounds like your dentist is a good one. Yes do use salt water rinse. Glad you are able to get some pain relief.

LoriO sounds like you are having problems with internet. Good news about your Dad. That is scary about infectiion when polyp was removed. Keeping him in prayer and you and youf Mother too.

CarolAnn my daughter has the Nook she loves it. Has a longer battery life. She has books, books, books going at the same time. She has alwsays even as a kid. Had more than 3 books going at one time.

Wanda so things are in the works for you total knee replacement. Praers fr the right surgeon and prayers for you, GG, Gene, and family. So sorry about GG's doctor having cancer. Hope that Dr. Que can re-start GG's treatments.

hedgie said...

CarolAnne---there was a predecessor to the email machine you mentioned that was the first of it's kind----my uncle knew the inventor! He and we TRIED to get my Mom to buy one...but she refused! She said she just wasn't interested. I feel like she's missed out on a lot!! So I still print out things and send her articles and pictures via snail mail!

Oh, my, Kay---so praying that Seth will nbe okay! Poor kid. And yes, cords on floors are a big NO-NO!!! And I'm so thankful you didn't fall!! Good save!!! Too many momsters have had falls and we no longer ALLOW them!!!!! (the falls, that is!)

ALl of your lovely prayer thoughts have overwhelmed me. What lovely words you all spoke. Thank you again and again!
Gotta say we had really lousy cell service in the hospital. And then I was losimg power---Christie said it was because phone was having to work too hard to get a signal! But Shar's tect came through and my reply made it out, so then I went ahead and texted Lori and Carolyn, too, with success!

paula eagleholic said...

Ah Suzan, I had a grilled cheese and bean soup tonight!

hedgie said...

No cell phones allowed in out courthouse, either! ANd the bailiffs won't just hold it at the security checkpoint....it must be returned to vehicle. Don't know what people do who get dropped off or ride the bus....????

You can see how I am slowly but surely making it through the posts!!!

stronghunter said...

Lynn, I am so happy to see you are home and that things are getting worked out.

I have tried to keep up with posts, but have fallen behind. At this point, I may have to wait until tomorrow to catch up.

Kathryn came downstairs after she got Hunter settled and finished watching Survivor and we have been discussing her day of running around getting her divorce issues taken care of.

She has the same divorce lawyer I had, so she was spared the stress of having to find someone. That was hard for me.

Sharon, please keep us posted about Bev. Hope you aren't at the ER all night! Prayers!

I'm gonna try to get one more report transcribed. Just in case I don't make it back here for a while, I'm making sure the porch light is on, and setting both security systems on "night mode."
Have said prayers for everyone (forgot to mention Linda--hope you are rapidly improving!), and every creature. Hope we all sleep well tonight. God bless, and goodnight! Love each and every one of you! :o]

I do hope Bev heals quickly and has no problems.

hedgie said...

Oh, poor Sissy....hope her fingers aren't burned too badly. What was she doing???

And poor Hoda----what were they doing to your tooth that they would hit a bleeder??? Geesh! I would be in panic city as much as I hate dental work!!!

I'm at the split---finally!!!!

LOL----Darth was on the phone with me; I was standing in the office bldg. parking lot waiting for Christie to come with the car. DArth is trying to get Judie on the cell to tell her where we were, and I was telling him that we had to get straight to the hospital for the lab stuff.....and then he thought that maybe Judie had alrady left for school! Yep, a comedy of errors!!!!! But dear sweet Judie TRIED to hook up with us---so Jo wasn't too far off base!!! ANd guess what?? No SHEETZ down there!
Yep, Shirley is right----Judie lives 5 mins. from the hospital.

Ms Bookworm said...

P.S.--Please excuse my manners! NC Suzan, good to see you here, and prayers for your Dr. appt.! Hope you are feeling well.

Well, back to work. Will try to check in later.

Lynn - you have had quite an eventful day - at lest you have made it so for all of us. So happy that things are
scheduled.

magpie said...

Sharon
Really sorry about Sissy's fingers !!
You can tell her last week I burned my thumb on a curling iron,
yep, bacitracin when it blistered and broke :(

magpie said...

I failed at the picture caption attempt but did put James's Asters...on Magpie's Roost...they were ice-encrusted, THEN, burst open with a bee sucking nectar ☺

hedgie said...

Oh, Jo--- Liesl and I drove to Christie's....so I still had to drive us home!! I'm a wee bit out of her way!!!!

magpie said...

By the time Lynn gets to this post I will be saying

Good Night Precious Pals, and especially, a Good Night to You, Lynn...

We had good reason to pile up the posts today....

Prayers for Wellness, amongst all of us, our family, friends and pets

Ditto Suzan's remark: Thanks for the Friendship, it is precious and dear

God Bless This Nest, and
God Bless Us, Every One

hedgie said...

Wanda, who are they referring you to for your knee??? I hope it's Knutson! Is it the pain management doctor who has cancer????
If so, gang, she's the only game in town! But that place has gone through doctors like water through a seive----so they'll soon have another one in place. Too bad---she seemed to be very good. I know my friend Ann liked her very much.

Hoda said...

Goodnight Carol Anne.

LYNNE she was prepping for a crown and something happened with my gums. I have healthy gums and they say so every six months when I go in for cleaning...so I am not too sure what happened. It is OK now and I am even able to drink my tea...

Lolly said...

Wahoo! We are going to hibernate once again with Lily and Faith! Land owners have granted permission. More to learn about mommas and their yearlings without a birth happening. Sure miss our Hope!

Mema Jo said...

Well I am just so pleased with your consultation today. Judi said she almost found you over in the hospital but by the time she went through 3 other
buildings, it was time for school.

Check out you email for me.

Suzan, I don't feel that I have any problem breathing when I'm lying down......even tho' the overnight test showed that my pulse ox dropped to 88 occassionally. I find I have more trouble when I am in the recliner position of the sofa sometimes. And bending over is not good, either!
Good luck with your apptmt. tomorrow. Let us know how it turns out!

MArgy, you need most of those milliliters of your blood---and I'm betting you don't have the antibodies!! I managed to pick them up when I had 6 units transfused when Carolyn was born!

Yep, Caro did a fine job here....and at work! And Christie is a good medical companion! So proud of my girls!!!

Jo, I am also very glad that Meatball Alexis is back to eating meat!!!

Loretta----nice thought about the critters you saw! TY!

Joe Paterno fired from Penn State University effective immediately.

Very sad.....

Such an iconic career. University President out too.

hedgie said...

Suzan.....thanks for that PIcnick thing---will check it out. SOunds like one of the fancy ones that JudyE has used with the framing!!!
Enjoy your late snack!

I am getting very ready for my cheesecake dessert.

Oh, dear---Joe Paterno has been "dismissed." What a shame.....he just wanted to retire at the end of the season. This will probably kill him.....poor old guy.

stronghunter said...

Sad events at Penn State. Very tough situation.

hedgie said...

CarolAnne: I can't email you. It just says I don't have the default mail something or other. Please try to email me by the same process, okay???

Costume Lady said...

So wonderful to see so many of us on here, this evening...not many missing. I think we were all waiting on a report STRAIGHT FROM THE HORSES MOUTH. Lynn's report was worth waiting on. Her positive attitude toward the surgery and the outcome, has made us feel like we can take a deep breath now!
GOOD ON YOU LYNN...LOVE YOU!!

hedgie said...

Whoo Hoo--I'm caught up!
Now to look at some pics!

Costume Lady said...

Don't know how much trouble it is for CAROLANN to allow someone to view her cam, but if not too much trouble...PUT ME ON THE LIST!!
Lynn and I both have trail cams, so what you have is right up our alley!!

Shirley, did the workers get all of your fence finished?
Our worker (Mike) came early this morning and started on our steps and landing. He hope to get it finished tomorrow if it doesn't rain.

Turning in now...
Praying for all the ailments that has befallen us today. Wellness prayers for all of us!
LOVE & (((HUGS)))

Linda said...

It's sad for Joe Paterno, but the Board of Trustees made the right decision tonight.

More should have been done when the news of these incidents came to light years ago.

Children should never have to go through something like that.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Okay, we are home. She has second degree burns. They want her to use Bacitracin once the blisters open. They wrapped them in gauze and put her off work for 3 days.

Lolly said...

Yes, it is very sad about Paterno but what he did was stupid! Too bad to end a career this way.

Cute story......Tonight Jenni could not find Rhyan. (Remember, the first burp rags I made were for her) Well, Rhyan is now a year old. Jenni found her in the garage looking very proud. She had crawled out the dog/cat door. lol

Heading to the shower and to bed. Have a nice soak, Lynn and a good nights sleep! You too, Wanda! You have an adventure ahead, too. Love you both!

Nite all! Sweet dreams!

Linda said...

Well, Good On You, Lynn for catching up!! You passed me because I was watching tv and trying to catch up and didn't get through everything. Hopefully tomorrow.

Again, Lynn - please know you'll remain in my prayers as you face this surgery and recovery. I know how strong you are, but I want you to know I love you dearly and want to be here for you as you've been there for me!!

Linda said...

Going to head upstairs now. It's been a long day.....

Wishing you all sweet dreams!

May God Bless and Protect us all and the critters we so dearly love ... xoxo ♥♥♥

Night ♥

Hoda said...

LOLLY I am glad the little one year old was found and it is a cute story, but also a very scary story...how did she know to look in the garage...was the garage door open, so much is left in the garage that could be harmful....do you see where my mind went with scary story???Gracious God's Blessings that it is a cute story...

Hoda said...

LOLLY I know the kid went through the dog and cat door, the she in my other post is the MOM...So glad she found her, she must have been scared...

hedgie said...

Baseball player has been kidnapped in Venezuela......more info coming on the sports report. :(

stronghunter said...

Going to head upstairs now that Lynn is home and I've had a chance to read her posts . . . and do a few other things.

God bless and good night.

hedgie said...

ARGH, Lolly. I hate dog/cat doors----and now I have an even more serious reason! Glad the little one was okay.

Linda, thanks, gal!!!! Feeling is mutual.

Can't believe Judie hasn't been here to tell about her chase!!!!!

Oh, the b-ball player is one of my Nationals!! Wilson Ramos.....

hedgie said...

Time for some cheesecake!!

hedgie said...

Ramos is a catcher. He was vacationing. No ransom demands yet.

Hoda said...

So strange, I went to refresh to catch up on the blog and now I have delete icons on everyones posts!!! Is this connected to LORI's posts disappearing?

Hoda said...

After my last post the delete buttons have also disappeared...strange.

I am going to sign off. Sleepy.

I thank God for all the GRACE HE brought to our lives today and for taking special care with LYNN...
Expressions of GRATITUDE and PRAISES GO UP IN PRAYER.

Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart for everything you said amd did today!!!! Love you all.

Prayers for ALL!

Kay said...

LYNN, I woke up and this is where I tend to head rather than to toss and turn ! I'm with you on pet doors. They can let "things" in or out of the house that are not pets. They also allow pets bring unwanted gifts inside !

Kay said...

SUZAN, wide awake and saying extra prayers for you---hope the appt. goes well---we'll all be anxious to hear.

MARGY, Jame's asters made an amazing comeback---beautiful !

Ouch, SISSY ! That's one of those mindless things we all do occasionally, when our minds are too busy. You probably reached for the pan with your dominant hand, too. :( Make the best of your 3 days off and chat with us a lot !!!

Kay said...

LYNN, is Ramos originally from Venezuela ? Sad day for Penn State, but had to happen. Paterno reported a rape to "superiors" several years ago and then never followed up, let alone not reporting to police. College sports are way out of whack--they bring so much money in to the school that they become sacred cows no one wants to disturb. This time it was to the detriment of countless innocent children.

Ms Bookworm said...

Well, Gang, I've been doing transcription, but it's time to quit. I am going to hit the hay. Sweet dreams, everyone! God bless!

Kay said...

ANDY, what a lovely patio ! So lush and green ! I always love your late night posts--late to those of us on EST, that is. Thanks for tending to the night light and alarms and for the sweet way you remember each person who needs prayer ! We love you, too !

Kay said...

Well, if ANDY is calling it quits it must mean everyone is sawing logs. Going back to bed in an attempt for more zzzzz's myself !

Lori O said...

I posted before I left for work, and I get here and it's gone...so who knows what's in store today. Unless I can get hold of Google by phone, I'm changing EVERYTHING. I've already tired clearning this up their way through an email form they have and it should have been taken care of. NOW, it's also happening on my new email address and log in for the blog. BS!!! Sorry. This is just screwed up.

Kay said...

G☼☼d M☼rning gLORI, you had a bad day yesterday and this one is not off to a real good start. Very frustrating and I hope you get Google straightened out !!!!
{{{{{{{{{{{{{LORI}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Kay said...

I'm drawing a blank on how I get the cam up along side this "page" and I just did it yesterday... Anyone with Windows 7, please jog my memory ! Arggggghhhh !!!

DanaMo said...

I just open another IE or Firefox (not a tab another browser)and make both smaller.

Kay said...

Oofta, I got it ! I forgot I have to right click to get a menu and go to more than one site at a time. How can I do something day after day and all of a sudden forget it. This worries me !

Kay said...

DANAMO, Hi !!! Do you have windows 7 ? With the old laptop I did it your way, but this new computer is different. I haven't yet figured out how to save pictures exactly where I want them on this thing. I have to have Hugh over for another lesson or two. So, how are things going for you, dear girl ?

DanaMo said...

No I have Vista.

Everything is going well. My wallhanging is almost complete. Just sewing buttons on at the intersection of the square with yarn. Looks really cute. Glad it's finished. My aide said she would sew the buttons so I am bringing it into school today.

Kay said...

LORI, nice yellow flowers avatar ! It's very disconcerting to see your profile gone. Grrrrrr.

DANAMO, I don't know if LORI will be on here today or not. Something is very wrong.

Kay said...

Today is your deadline on it, right ? Your going to make it, of course. Any thing new with your Dad now that the walker is a thing of the past ?

DanaMo said...

I'm really for the weekend.
Although, the week has flown by pretty quick. Today we have our "Thanksgiving" lunch at school. Much earlier than usual, but it's a catered lunch. Parent's and grandparents join the children. It's an all day affair because there are 3 shifts and you go to eat according to your last name. Needless to say we do not get anything accomplished in the classroom. We will read stories, do crafts and watch movies.

DanaMo said...

What is wrong with Lori? Is it her dad? Did she have to travel?

Kay said...

Is the catered T'Day meal for the entire school ?

DanaMo said...

Believe it or not I don't think I have a radio in the house to try and listen to her station.

DanaMo said...

Yes, the entire school. We have to pay...but most parents do pay and enjoy the opportunity to come in. I will post pictures later. They really set it up nice.

Kay said...

No, LORI is at work, on the air and sounding good. There is something wrong with her Google set up---see her profile---many of her messages appear briefly and then mysteriously disappear. See her post of 4:04 this morning.

The hope is that her Dad is out of danger and will be going home today, I believe.

Kay said...

This day of celebration does sound nice ! So all kids of all grades mix it up if according to last name, huh ?

Kay said...

Light is changing quickly at the nest. Hope our pair show up and stay a while--their visits yesterday were of short duration. I wonder is someone with camera capability is lurking ? We've relied on JUDYE, but she's having computer problems. She wasn't on last night at all.:(

DanaMo said...

All grades mixed. Siblings sit together as a family. It's very nice.

DanaMo said...

I will get to eat with Annemarie and my parents are joining us.

Kay said...

EAGLE !!!!!!

DanaMo said...

We have an eagle 6:12 fly in...

DanaMo said...

Glad I have both windows open. Looks blurry

DanaMo said...

Belle?

Kay said...

Think it's Belle, immediately digging a bit in the cup.

Kay said...

Yes, there are her distinctive tail feathers. He arrives at her side !!!!

Kay said...

Refresh shows they've both turned their backs on us---heads down, working on nestorations ?

Kay said...

Now looking around. Picture is blurry or there is fog. Color arrives, but is washed out.

Kay said...
