Good Evening Everyone. Straightening up kitchen after pork roast dinner--should last until New Years! Been to 4 groceries in over a week to find my NY rib roast! Gonna do hair tonight for work.Got a mtg @ Park before real work at Chelsea. New stuff we need to know & our secretary is leaving in about 6 weeks, so I'm sure we'll have to take on some of her chores until the hire somebody. They will be going home to TX! Somewhere near Dallas. Her daughter & 2 GCs are there.
Judie, you are too funny!! Youngest Daughter found some really nice sheets at a really good price at Target (she's my finicky kid!). Worth checking it out! Hope you don't come to S'town for sheets, cause there you will only find SHEETZ!!!!! But holler if you do---we'll meet for lunch!!
Put my 4PM nest pic in EM album. Almost looked like HP because his foot was so visible, but no flapping. Had those nasty bars going thru--tried to defuzz it a little.
George is home well that is good news for sure. Sheetz. I read back quite a way. Never did catch on to that one i guess but i am sure they have wonderful sheets or sheetz too in Shepeherdstown and well might want to take alittle side trip enroute.
Pretty good afternoon at the dam. A few folks had ventured out with their cameras today hopeing to catch a few photos. I will post tomorrow. I am tired and ready to call it a day here. Good night all.
Glo, you will not find the original Sheetz story on the blog. It happened in Shepherdstown when we went to open house. Judie was having trouble finding the restaurant and talked with Jo--I believe it was Jo.
Jo told her to use the Sheetz store as a landmark, and Judie had never heard of Sheetz and thought maybe it was a store that sold sheets. It has been a standing joke since then.
I remember it well because I passed by the Sheetz store just after Judie did. We had the same defective directions from Mapquest that sent us on a strange journey.
Had to put one funny Xmas present pic on blog. BTW, I deduced that my printer problem was low colored ink. Put a new cartidge in & it's working like a charm! (and a new printer is on the way! Oh well!)
For anyone who does not know what a Sheetz is. I don't think Judie needs this anymore! But I noticed that the stores do not exist all over the country.
Shirley, thanks for filling Glo in. Yep, it was Jo! Nope, Sheetz are not nationwide....yet!! Loretta, Binky is a real smartie!! Nice pics from last night, too!
OMG! Can't sleep afterall with visions of Sheetz dancing in my head! Still just so very funny. Truth is, it takes so little to make me happy -- new sheetz! Best of all, it brings back some very special memories of a very special weekend with very special new friends.
Think I will open my book again and hope the sandman will visit soon with visions of eagles and sunsets and bags and bags and bags of corn for all the deets at Lynn's place.
Oh, speaking of deets, don't remember telling ya'll but Darth wanted to know what deets are. Just like a lurking newbie.
Well. folks, I am logging off for tonight. It's been one of those afternoons/evenings. Loss of 2 acquaintances (one a 90 y.o. nurse I worked w/ at hospital so many years ago, whose late daughter was married to a good friend; other one the former wife of a GM boss--a much beloved teacher who was stricken suddenly on Christmas with a catastrophic stroke---her sons were in for the holiday, and had to make the decision to take her off life support.) Need to go spend some time talking to our Father, and ask that He help the hurting and grieving find peace and comfort in His everlasting love. Goodnight.
Good night, Lynn. Jo, I will probably take George upstairs with me tonight. He has been affectionate tonight. He was so happy to see Will that his tail got all fuzzy.
LOL Well now I know a little more about sheetz. I thought you were looking for sheets myself. Figured surely you don't have to go all the way to Shepherdstown to finds sheets but hey if it drives you close enough to see the nest then why not LOL.
OK well nite nite all. I am goign to go tuck myself between the sheets next to my Shiht'zu. Which is actually pronouned sheet zoo. True trust me on that one :-).
Hey, Glo...glad you got that straight now! The Sheetz store that Judie & Jo were refering to is 3 miles up the road frome me. I have to smile to myself each time I drive by:) BTW, Judie, the Sheetz store had a shooting in their parking lot a few weeks ago. Need to be careful there!
Have had my nose in a book all evening while you all were discussing Sheetz. No Sheetz in Texas, just sheets. Bought Laurel new ones for Christmas.
Temp has actually gone up a little, 37. Expect snow to be gone by morning.
Annie sleeps on our bed all day and most of the night. Right now she asked out for the umpteenth time. She asks out, we let her out, and she immediately sits at the door wanting back in. She is senile and forgets that it is cold.
Time to be heading to bed soon, so good night all.
I'm up, I'm sick and the heat is not working. It's 64 upstairs and 57 down here. Radiators bone cold. UGH. 17 outside, glad I'm inside, heat or no heat....but boy it's gonna get colder in here. Emailed my neighbor/landlord. Will call in the AM first thing. Hoping he is up and maybe checks his email. UGH.
Lynn, sorry about the 2 acquaintances you have lost. Prayers for the families.
Good Evening, Everyone! I have been reading back on what I've missed today. VERY happy to see that George is back home with you, Shirley! Probably not as happy as George is, though. Lynne, prayers and best wishes for the job interview! Hope it works out for you. Lynn, I'm SO sorry to hear of your loss of 2 friends. Prayers and (((HUGS))) for you. Hope tomorrow turns out to be a much better day. Prayers for your diabetic friend who had a stroke, too. Judie, hope you are able to find some really nice new sheets, though not at Sheetz. Out here, we have mostly 7-Eleven stores, which sound similar to Sheetz. There's one on the corner, only 2 blocks from our house. Very handy for a 'Slurpee run' in the hot summer! They have VERY good coffee, too--and a lot cheaper than Starbucks! Speaking of sheets, I have been doing lots of laundry today, including a load of flannel sheets. Will be glad when it's all done. Have noticed today that the still cam can't decide whether to have black lines in the picture or not--hope we have a live cam soon. Our daughter sent us a picture of her front yard full of snow this evening--guess its made its way to Texas, all right! Looks beautiful, but a pain to drive in.
Well, think I'll call it a night. May have to drive to the desert house tomorrow, so better be rested up. The night light is on, the porch light is eclipsed by my Christmas lights, and the eye scanner is enabled. Hope everyone, including George, has sweet dreams. Good night, and I'll talk to you tomorrow. Love all of you guys! :o]
GOOD MORNING, MARGY... I missed the visit. Was any of their feathers missing? That wind blew so very hard for 2 days and if the snow wasn't still on the ground, it would have blown all our left-over leaves away!
And I am out from between the sheets. Time for Good morning. Man I just missed Lib and Belle by a few minutes and I am up early. Its Dex's fault as I was brushing him :-). His swaeter can matt him quickly if I am not careful. Will post new photos on Glo's Glimses including a series if ice fishing eagle style. Guess its time to groom myself now. Will leave cam on and keep an eagle eye out.
My thoughts this morning are on the LIVE FEED. Our eagles will be working very dilligently on the nest right now...last Jan. there was a lot of sticks brought in and a lot of HP. 1st egg was Jan. 30. Hope we don't have to watch ALL of that on a STILL cam!
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---CONGRATS! 'LORETTA (LOWREEDA)! You are 'OUR BEST ALL AROUND EAGLE MOMSTER today'---('wish i had 2 printers') ho!---MORNIN' BEAUTIFUL MARGY!!--I just missed the EAGLES!---Tomorrow am--I am not going to read the blog 1st!!---ho!--It is a very--very COOL am here in WILD & WONDERFUL WV today!--'HOME OF LIBERTY & BELLE'--temp now 15°--CONGRATS--LYNN2--new job & dog too!!--SENDING GET WELL WISHES to TOM'S BRENDON & all those in need! I'm going to put some sleep behind me and hope to get some things done this afternoon.
Lynn, I am sorry about the loss of your two friends....Prayers for you, and their families.
And prayers for all our other needs too...
Best wishes for a good day, everyone. Bundle Up.... Hope the skies will be clear New Year's Eve night so we can see the beautiful, Full, BLUE MOON! (but don't expect it to look BLUE ☺) xo ☺ ♥ Good Night everyone...
Thanks for the 'BLUE MOON' reminder--- The phases of the moon realign near the same calendar dates in cycles of 19 years. Another blue moon won't bring in the New Year again until 2028. There will be eight blue moons in the next 19-year cycle
A blue moon doesn't really look blue, though dust particles in the atmosphere can cause the moon to look bluish in color.
Large volcanic eruptions can blast fine dust particles into the EARTH'S atmosphere. When the Krakatoa volcano erupted in 1883, the dust particles in the upper atmosphere caused the moon to appear blue.
Morning all. I did catch a couple of eagle glimpses about 10 minutes ago. The action is picking up. Lots of turkeys in PA.
Read back re/Sheetz. There are lots of them around here. I've never been in one but get gas from them. When I first came here about 3 years ago I was asking directions and someons said the location I was looking for was right by the Sheetz. I asked if it was a linen store. So Judie, you are not alone.
GOOD--GOOD MORNIN' DANA!!---Been thinking about you!---Are you sleeping well---pray that you are!! I was out yesterday for a few hours & when I came home--put groceries away---I WAS WHIPPED!--That COLD AIR really knocks me for a loop!!.....feel asleep during the news--woke up to DAVID LETTERMAN!!---ho!
Good Morning in Eagleland Margy, Wanda, Go & Dex, Grannyblt and Norma.
Norma yesterday at 7pm I felt tired looked over and doggies was in his bed. So I went to mine didn't wake up until 5am this morning. Can't call that a "panda nap". lol
Remember how I said Ed always would get me a "red rose" and I like them artificial. Which in my vase I have many that are silk, one is real, there are even 2 or 3 that are bright red aluminum and I have a pink from my daughter. What I'm getting at is at the graveside something had me pull off a "yellow rose". I came home and opened for first time since 1980 the glass arrangement that my Dads red rose and butterfly with a gray fuzzy whatever it's called. Anyhow I placed the yellow rose in there because it has the white stuff to keep the flowers forever. I just couldn't figure out when I look at it above the computer. I think, "why yellow".
This morning I looked up the meaning. Here is what I found at the first place I read: "A bouquet of yellow roses now brings to mind all of the sunny, cheerful feelings of warmth and happiness. In contrast to the romantic meanings attributed to other roses, the yellow rose is purely a symbol for friendship. This gives it a unique place in the pantheon of roses. Yellow roses can send the perfect message of appreciation and platonic love without the romantic subtext of other colors. They can represent feelings of joy and delight, and are an ideal way to brighten someone's day who may be feeling down. There is perhaps no other flower that is able to bring out a smile in quite
Now that isn't strange to me cause every time I look at it I haven't felt saddness and I do smile. So now I know just why I do. At first I thought grrr your smiling when you look at Ed's rose. What is wrong with you!!! I thought.....well now I know. Another miracle in my memory of miracles.
Lynn-Hedgie may God comfort you for the loss of your two friends. May HE be a BLESSING of help with the families and other friends. Seek HIM for all your comfort. As someone told me it helps to talk about it also. We are here for you.
message from Sparky Jones at Dunedin Osprey nest.....
The female osprey has settled into the concavity in the nest. She has either laid an egg and is keeping it worm or is about to lay an egg. By the first week in January last year, she had three eggs. If anyone sees an egg when you log on, please let us know so we can document the time and date... http://ospreynestcam.com/ospreycam.php
Had to chuckle when I read Judie's comment about Darth aka Frank wanting to know about deets! We've sure had fun with some of out typos, haven't we???
More interesting stuff about tomorrows' blue moon. It is only in the Western Hemisphere----doesn't happen in the Eastern Hemisphere until the 1st, so Jan. will be their blue moon month. We won't have another New Years' eve blue moon until 2028.
Today Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 30s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. » ZIP Code Detail Tonight Mostly cloudy. A chance of sleet...snow with a slight chance of freezing rain after midnight. Lows in the upper 20s. South winds around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation 30 percent. amen;)
Noticed that our eagles visited the nest earlier today.
George and I slept in this morning. I am enjoying this break too much.
Lynne, I hope you get your heat fixed very quickly and that you feel better.
Judie, I hope you enjoy your visit to Sheetz, or that you get new sheets. I'm confused about what you are doing, but I am sure you will enjoy it--you usually do. Maybe you will see some deets.
Andy, around here, Sheetz is a fancier version of 7-11. But I'm partial to 7-11 myself.
Right now, the nest picture on my camera is beautiful, but shhh, don't tell anyone . . . well, there are those lines again. Uh-oh. Really bad now.
MORNIN' GRANNYBLT--MITS--LYNN2--SHARON--HEDGIE--SHIRLEY & PAULA, et al---I need to fill my feeders---still have lots of snow--think I'll go for lunch--then fill them!!---I still have several deer---I haven't feed them----PAULA--OUR TEMPS are still in the teens! Certainly hope they move up a bit!!
MORNIN' SHIRLEY!---I hadn't notice many squirrels here -- but this last week---we seem to have them every where---particularly hanging on the the bottom of the feeders! ho!--they are cutie to watch---
Well, now I have a squirrel friend. I went to put out more seeds, and the squirrel came running to me. It sat and waited patiently while I put the seeds out.
I remember Judie said she had a squirrel that would come into the house. I can't have that with George around. He got excited enough just watching through the window.
Dark-eyed junco, goldfinch, nuthatch, white-throated sparrow, blue jays, downy woodpecker, red bellied woodpecker, chickadee, titmouse, mourning doves, starlings (my personal favorite), cardinals, but no partridge in a pear tree! :)
My house has large over hangs---so when snow slid off the roof this time---it fell on top of the shrubbery & froze there---looked up at kitchen window -- a deer is STANDING ON TOP OF THE OVER HANG SNOW THAT FELL & is just eating away!---looked at me & went on eating!!
Good Morning Everyone! Yes it is downright COLD ! Lynne I sure hope you get some heat soon so that the water pipes don't freeze! Norma - Now that avatar speaks well of you! Thanks for this morning visit's pics, Margy. And thanks for telling me where the red cloth is located
I got the pic....all you have to do, Shirley, is click above the cam, it opens it up for you, and then you can take the pic..I'm sending it to Sparky...will send it to you too.
if anyone can get on facebook and look at the picute sharon posted of the woodpecker please do so. She can't tell what it is. My guess is a juvie red bellied. I'll try to post on my blog
Wow when I zoom in, I can't make out anything---too fuzzy.... Who's Sparky, Mits? Yep, Jo, got the red cloth site straight now! Norma---what was the deer eating? Your shrubs?? Your avatar is very appropriate for you! Did Shar do it for you?
Sparky Jones is the guy that has kept me informed since last year...They were supposed to be set up, but had problems and could not do it till this year, and right when things were getting started, he sent out an email, he is the male version of Lisa at BWE, always lets you know what is going on...I guess they figure if you spend the time watching their cams, they let you know one way or the other what is happening.
well, the boiler is being worked on by my landlord/neighbor. We are holding at 59 degrees but the sun is clouded over and no longer shining in the window. I have such a bad chill. Not sure what's wrong because it's working fine in our laundry room, his garage and the apartment up over the garage. I have to go walk dogs and run some errands. If not fixed by then, going back to bed with the space heater cranked in the bedroom!
Good morning. Really warmed up during the night. 43 now and no trace of yesterday's snow. Boys will be disappointed!
Think today Jack and I will go to Fort Worth to go to Central Market. Love to shop there for groceries though a bit expensive. We go there to buy food that we can not get elsewhere. Plan on cooking a special meal New Years Eve.
ANDY.....I know you have told us before but where does your daughter live? In Texas, I know, but where? Fairly close to me if she got snow yesterday.
Oh, Mits, how nice to have someone giving you constant updates.....:) Must be nice. White-out in Utah!! Elephant baby is going to be a real handful for his mama!! Lynne, go soak in a hot tub---that will warm you up. And be careful with space-heater!!! Hope he gets furnace fixed.
According to the blog, Diego might be on display soon. It seems he has developed into a "night Panda", frolicking the night and early morning away and then sleeping during exhibit hours. So they are trying to train him to play when on exhibit.
I hope all you momster/dadsters don't get tired of my sending New Years cards. lol I sent one and didn't remember I already had one in the system that was being sent. So in case you didn't know it - I really wish all of you a wonderful year ahead!
In those years we lived in a small, hill side valley that looked out onto the Pacific; we had a 40 ft. antenna mast, which got San Diego fine; but everything we got from L.A. bounced off the side of the Torrey Pines Park hill.
It was all snow and flopping pictures, etc., most of time. Somehow we kids managed to watch a bunch of old westerns and Flash Gordon, etc., etc. on Channel 5 (Gene Autry channel later). And we got the wrestling and I don't remember what all from there too.
Got the story of Bald Eagle ice fishing told in pictures in new Glos'Glimpses. I hope you will be able to see the captions I inserted on the top of the photos. Tried to share what I saw as it unfolded infront of me. If you aren't a Feedblitz subscriber I would invite you to do that while you are on the site. Thankfully times will get busier eagle photo wise for me over the next few weeks. Just click on Glo here and find the blog that says Glo's Glimpses to see this latest group. Its the coldest and yet my very favorite time of year. Its the prime reason why I even stay here right now, although there are some others too :-).
Good Afternoon, Everybody! I've been pretty busy catching up on housework today. Washer and dryer have not stopped since EARLY this morning! Beginning to put a dent in the laundry. Shirley, CUTE picture of George! Can tell he's happy to be home. Sheetz sounds pretty nice--wish we had some out here. Would love to meet your friend the squirrel. We haven't seen ours, named Rocky, in months and months. Since our next-door neighbor's cat, Bullwinkle (Really! I kid you not!), is such a 'cowardly lion', I'm sure he didn't catch him. Would be willing to bet my neighbor with the BB gun has something to do with his disappearance. Grrrrrrr.
Dana, LOVE the story of your yellow rose miracle! So glad you are sleeping well, too. Getting enough sleep makes such a difference! (((HUGS))) for you and Little Man! Lolly, our daughter, Jen, lives in Providence Village in Aubrey, TX. The oldest granddaughter, Jay, lives in Dallas. We also have a nephew who lives in Denton with his family. BTW, it's cold here today (43 early this am, about 55 now, and wet with light rain/sprinkles)--dampish kind of cold that goes through to your bones. No sun yet, just cloudy. TONS of birds eating from the backyard feeders--nothing like the variety you have, though, Sharon!--House finches, sparrows (including White-crowned), about 20 mourning doves, mockingbirds, Anna's hummers. ...Oh boy, my life is not my own--the dryer is calling me, yet again. Have to go get a shower, too. Will be back for a bit later. Have a great day! :o]
Well I missed the eagles again. My timing is not good today at all. My plate is too full to sit here and they don't come when I can. Good thing I am retired LOL. I htink I need to go see George's picture while I am here.
OK so George is not between the sheetz . He is your avatar. He does look mighty comfy and content there. I surely wish when it say make fullsize or whatever on the profile page that we could actually get a bigger picture. But it surely doesn't work that way for me.
Yes I knw they used to be bigger and I miss it. I figured if I made a comment someone would let me know if its me and I need to change some settign somewhere. But I think they are all just small. Not tiny but surely not a very good size.
Anyway thought before the New Year is here I would put a picture of Dex on here as my avatar from this past Christmas. This photo is about a week old. Taken at my neighbors by their tree on Christmas Eve.
It sure does look like the horizontal is going out. Lets see I think my dad used to like hit the knob or wiggle it back and forth ever so slightly. Hoping it would hold again for a while.
There is a different picture of George in about the same pose on my blog, and you can make that one very large. Glad you enjoy looking at my handsome guy.
Just got back from doctor's, lab, and grocery store / pharmacy. Insurance company denied my medication because they say I am trying to refill too soon, but I will run out before I can refill. Already called doctor, and hope it will work out.
The insurance company thinks the medication should last 10 days, but it is lasting about 7, so I was not surprised. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Maybe I will not have to pay out of pocket or go without. The stuff is expensive.

Definition of a Sheetz
For anyone who does not know what a Sheetz is. I don't think Judie needs this anymore! But I noticed that the stores do not exist all over the country.
Shirley, thanks for filling Glo in. Yep, it was Jo! Nope, Sheetz are not nationwide....yet!!
Loretta, Binky is a real smartie!!
Nice pics from last night, too!
Loretta, I am sure you can find a use for an extra printer.
You sure can tell how much of a LOCAL gal I am. I just assumed Sheetz was
all over the states!
Thanks Shirley - Good definition!
Better yet is that the mere mention of 'Sheetz' will always be good for a hearty laugh!
Jo, I drive by a Sheetz every time I go to work. They are all around here. But they are pretty new.
OMG! Can't sleep afterall with visions of Sheetz dancing in my head! Still just so very funny. Truth is, it takes so little to make me happy -- new sheetz! Best of all, it brings back some very special memories of a very special weekend with very special new friends.

Pleasant dreams!
Probably no deets at most Sheetz, but who knows, Judie!
Sleep well, Judie ((hugs))

Neat! The link to Bob Quinn's photos is on the BWO page...☺
GOOD MORNING, MARGY...
I missed the visit. Was any of their feathers missing? That wind blew so very hard for 2 days and if the snow wasn't still on the ground, it would have blown all our left-over leaves away!
The birds looked great Wanda, but with the black lines, the pic-taking was not too good. I put one on the album
Good Morning !
GOOD MORNING, GLO:)
You sure do take good care of Dex. What a sweet dog he must be.
Gone for coffee. BBL

Good Night ☺
Good Night Margy sleep well...( :
Thanks for the 'BLUE MOON' reminder---
The phases of the moon realign near the same calendar dates in cycles of 19 years.
BLACK BIRD IN BWO nest!!
BOB'S AWESOME PHOTOS are there too!
Thanks BOB!!
Good Morning in Eagleland Margy, Wanda, Go & Dex, Grannyblt and Norma.
Norma yesterday at 7pm I felt tired looked over and doggies was in his bed. So I went to mine didn't wake up until 5am this morning. Can't call that a "panda nap". lol
It is warmer in Colorado than here !!! 36 there
Remember how I said Ed always would get me a "red rose" and I like them artificial.
DANA!--It's wonderful you are sleeping well!!---I have no problem falling asleep!---I read EVERY night before I go to sleep---
This morning I looked up the meaning.
Good Morning everyone!
Dana, life sure is full of little miracles, isn't it?
Lynn-Hedgie may God comfort you for the loss of your two friends. May HE be a BLESSING of help with the families and other friends. Seek HIM for all your comfort.
As someone told me it helps to talk about it also. We are here for you.
DANA--sometimes we don't always need to know why certain things happen---we can just accept them--and be happy--
Good Wednesday morning everyone, have a good one:)
message from Sparky Jones at Dunedin Osprey nest.....
The female osprey has settled into the concavity in the nest. She has either laid an egg and is keeping it worm or is about to lay an egg. By the first week in January last year, she had three eggs.
If anyone sees an egg when you log on, please let us know so we can document the time and date...

Good morning Momsters and Dadsters!
We won't have another New Years' eve blue moon until 2028.
today's weather for nest....
Today
Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 30s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
» ZIP Code Detail
Tonight

eagle BWO
Good Eagleland Morning Mits and Sharon.
Yes Norma we do ... do just that ( :
Oh no Judie....it's calling for sheetz's and more sheetz's tonight...sheetz's makes it icy.
Good morning!
Morning, all!
Happy Wednesday! Glad to see the temps up and the wind down!
2 eagles were at BWO, eating when I logged on this morning...they are gone now.
Put a few seeds on my porch rail while a squirrel was sitting nearby. Guess the little guy was hungry.
PAULA!---COOL AVATAR!
Inventory of birds this morning . . .
Dark-eyed junco, goldfinch, nuthatch, white-throated sparrow, blue jays, downy woodpecker, red bellied woodpecker, chickadee, titmouse, mourning doves, starlings (my personal favorite), cardinals, but no partridge in a pear tree! :)
WHOA----WILLIE NELSON is singing--'You were always on my mind'--the ad for adopting a pet!---it always brings tears!---so sad!
George is pawing at the window. Squirrel is ignoring him.
SHIRLEY---Don't ever let them in the house!---They chew everything! -- including parts of the house--if they can't get back out! ho!
BLUEFIELD SHARON!----I think ONE must have a PEAR TREE before ONE can have a PARTRIDGE in a PEAR TREE!-----just a thought! ho!
and now there is a wren!
I will not be letting squirrels into my house. Yes, they chew. Years ago, my brother had a pet squirrel, Theodore. He chewed on the chest of drawers.
I would not want to see what would happen if a squirrel came into the house with George here.
BWO!---Beautiful EAGLE eating in the nest!!!!
pretty sure Mrs. Dunedin has laid an egg this a.m., if you go below the cam pic, you can get live streaming, no sound though:(, but clear picture.
Well Normabyrd, you make a wonderful point there!
I tried to see an up to date pic of S-DIEGO--but pic is blurred!
Eagle at bWO
both osprey at Dunedin
headless eagle at BWE LOL!
YOU ALL WON'T BELIEVE THIS!!
LYNN2---I saw that same EAGLE earlier too!--ho!
Saw an egg at Dunedin. Could not take a pic, because I don't have a password.
Good that you got it, Mits. I clicked above, but then was asked for a password, so I did not try anything else. I assume you have a password.
I was zoomed in on the egg. Also had a problem earlier because I got logged off momentarily. Was a bit of a challenge.
Mama is sitting prettty, Mits! Cool that they already have an egg!!! THeir season is earlier because of the warmer climate, I guess, right??
Hello everybody! Two snow covered moose on the moosecam.
Got it, Mits. Thanks.
The IWS cams by USTREAM are soooooooo
clear!
if anyone can get on facebook and look at the picute sharon posted of the woodpecker please do so. She can't tell what it is. My guess is a juvie red bellied. I'll try to post on my blog
Shirley, right above the cam it says this....
Click HERE to take a snapshot Username: open Password: access
all you do is CLICK, it opens up automatically, at least it does for me....
OK, it's on...
Great to see the Egg Roll at the Dunedin Osprey nest........
Fairly close to me if she got snow yesterday.
baby elephant
Delphia just posted this on her facebook, it's too adorable!
Thanks Lynne - that was adorable - especially his running to the head of the line once they started moving on!
You can see Pook's Welcome All banner
Really getting the snow in UT
Must be windy there at Pook's also
The banner just wrapped around the pole
Feeding time for the penguins at the Baltimore Zoo. They are HUNGRY
BBILW After Lunch sometime
Finally was able to access the Baltimore Zoo cam. Very nice picture. I see the gulls trying to horn in on the feeding.
Oh Lynne What a precious video that is. Thanks for sharing it on here. Everyone needs to see that.
penguins are soooo cute...
Love to watch them walk, Mits.
yeah, me too.

Not bad for a winter morning so far... cool morn.

Have a happy 2-days before a Great New Year.

changing of the guards at Dunedin
Yeah, that is a cute baby elephant clip, Delphia.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
I guess you all saw the link to Bob Quinn's new pics on the BW site.....
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Yep, Jim---had us all oohing and aahing yesterday!
How far away did you have to park??
According to the blog, Diego might be on display soon. It seems he has developed into a "night Panda", frolicking the night and early morning away and then sleeping during exhibit hours. So they are trying to train him to play when on exhibit.
Check out the blog entries at S.D.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
We have eagles in our nest!
Why yes we do. 2 eagles and a black line.
I hope all you momster/dadsters don't get tired of my sending New Years cards. lol I sent one and didn't remember I already had one in the system that was being sent.
So in case you didn't know it -
I really wish all of you a wonderful
year ahead!
I have had a button buck and a doe out here eating for about 30 minutes.
Line or lines you can still see our EAGLE.....
Hello Sharon & Glo
It must be Belle I see..
Are you getting strange lines and "noise" on your feed back there?
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Our eagle must be enjoying lunch......
Kinda reminds me of TV in the early years.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Good comparison Jim! I remember TV when it first came out. You have to move those rabbit ears! lol
Definitely eating something, but I can't see anything lying there where it is pecking.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
I can't either, Jim. I don't see a thing.
POOF !
Morning, Mema Jo.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Maybe it was rabbit ears she was eating! :)
Many smaller elephants are bathing and playing submarine elephant at Pete's Pond right now.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
I used to watch wrestling - I remember that.
She ate the rabbit ears! oh no!
Sharon - what kind of buck was at the feeder with the doe?
SD zoo --- ZZ looks as though he could
fall out of the tree.
Was ZZ a male or female?
BBILW
Both eagles at BWE.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Mema Jo. Hahaha.
ZZ was..and is ... a beautiful, little girl Panda.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Mema Jo. Hahaha.
ZZ was..and is ... a beautiful, little girl Panda.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Jo, a BUTTON buck is a young male whose antlers are just starting------look like round, almost flat buttons on his head between his ears.
Jim, what were you hearing on our cam? We don't have sound on still!!! You must be getting interference from something!
Nice going, Helen, seeing that egg at Dunedin, photographing it and sending it on to Sparky!
Both birds at Cape Coral now....
hope to see some eggs there soon too
Good Afternoon Everyone
Lynne -
I am thinking Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker for the woodpecker
Shirley, Norma, Megan
Like your new avatars....
Lines or no lines, it is great that we have such a great Royal Pair ...
I think all be well when all the pieces and cables and cameras and providers get their ducks lined up in a row....
Probably the Holiday Season and all the crazy weather is part of the situation
Oh My! Jim - It is called Aging Syndrome when you CRS ! At least I can stay current by knowing that Diego is all boy! lol
Hello Margy.
Hi Jo...
any word on the Germany Gang's plans ?
my computer is slow as molasses this afternoon :(
Nice afternoon Eagle pics, Jo !
Am going to try to work my way up to Morgan County, need some kid fun!
9-1-1 been too dreary here lately...hope the beeper doesn't beep
Best wishes for a great afternoon everyone...hope all things are going well.
TTFN xo ☺ ♥
Eagle in the nest!
Grrrrrrr.
Ghost eagles...
oh no poofed
Jim means "noise" as in interference noise...fuzziness!
Alexis is here - PLAY TIME
BBL
Glo, left comment on Glimpses----wonderful!
Glo...they used to be bigger...
REally, someone is playing with the rabbit ears! Or is it the horizontal button :)
Hi Glo,
There is a different picture of George in about the same pose on my blog, and you can make that one very large.
Aha, a visitor!
hard to tell. with that line..;)
Just one, I believe...
First pic was real clear..gone to h*** after that!
now 2
Aha - 2!!
Looked like one left...then finally MT ... Cam was a real mess

Same here...
Catch ya'll later...heading home, and then to the Mount to watch the BB game....
***Watch out for the second split!!***
have fun, Paula
heading to the split
