In my earlier comment about my BIL unexpectedly meeting an unknown cousin, I should have said that BIL was from New Jersey; cousin moved here from Ohio or Illinois.
It is a great looking family, isn't it? Poor little Harper, yes, do hope she looses that anxiety. Also, hope she soon attaches herself to her Daddy as well. He would certainly like that! And, I am sure that mommy would like a break!
Did You Hear.....that a 98 y.o. woman has been arrested for killing her 100 y.o. nursing home roommate?? She allegedly strangled her, but article states that she was found with a plastic bag tied around her head.... WATCH OUT FOR LITTLE OL' LADIES!!!!
Oh, I was just wondering if we could watch the parade in Bluefield. Went to the cam. There is a police car there and two people standing at the intersection.
I think they have the road blocked. They just removed and then replaced a pylon to let a truck and horse trailer go by. I do believe the parade will be coming through this intersection. I think they Sharon and Sissy should go to this intersection and hold up a sign for us! lol
Good Morning in Eagleland Shirley, Mits, Paula, Lolly, Hedgie-Lynn, Jo, Loretta, Andrea, Margy, Thelma, Norma, and Sharon. Hope I didn't miss anyone...ALL INCLUDED.

Lynne & Steve I'm so sorry for you lose of Raven. I have been there twice since moving here 6 years ago. One wonderful cat and 2 doggies. Lynne2 believe me when I tell you this. When I went back into the room to see Ed with nephew and his wife (they were the ones that took their Uncle Ed in the ambulance). I was kissing his head and telling him how much I love him and will miss him. When suddenly there was this feeling that he could hear me and feel me touching and kissing him. Then I knew that only his skeleton-his shell was lieing here. . I knew and felt he was now breathing better than ever good frest air, seeing his Mother & Father and other loved ones. Meeting my Dad and my Aunt Lexie who just also passed to Heaven. He was also letting me know that towards him (Ed) ran my daughters bullmastiff Dozer that loved playiTg with my him and our cat and our other dogs. That had been playing "healthy" at Rainbow Bridge until my husband got to Heaven. Lynn and Steve Raven awaits to see you again while safely and healthy waiting at Rainbow Bridge until you come.
Shirley thank you I love the pics of the trees. The art work is awesome!
Hedgie that was a funny story about the names and they were related.
I don't think our live feed will be up untilm after Dec 13th or 19th...that's been my feeling all along; although I could be wrong.
Oh no Mr. Bill Dustin has discovered facebook....a tug and a pull to get to the computer now Wanda lol kidding
Diann still sad news about the 2 eagles :(
Wondering how Mrs. Riffe is doing? With continued prayers for her.
Did something happen to Mema Jo's Kitty?
I hope to get back to the blog. So many emails I can't seem to catch up. When I wake up like 4AM I work on getting them decreased but still plenty. OK BREATHER lol
Good to see you, Dana. Think you are caught up. Lolly and JACK had to cancel trip an hour on the road because Jack had a medical problem. Better now, but staying home. Nothing particularly wrong with Jo's kitty except that he's 19, I think she said....slowing w/ age, I bet, like the rest of us!!!
Did I miss the Bluefield parade? Cop truck not there anymore, either....
No biggie, Mits.....cam view too small to have made out any faces anyway, even if they had marched by!! Guess Justin would have been in JROTC uniform---makes them all look alike! Would have had a hard time picking my daughter out when she did it if she hadn't been the squadron commander, leading them!!
well, that was a long journey getting on the blog! Keep forgetting how I remembered to find it! I think others are lost out there too... FWS sites still down...
headed to Hagerstown, maybe things will be back to normal later.
Hello Eagle People, good to see you check in Dana and TTFN xo ☺ ♥ xo
Too bad, eagles were gone when I got there. We sat outside for awhile, but nothing. Kathryn said that they were definitely eagles. She and Tom got to see them very well because they flew really low. Hunter decided to lie down in the yard and see if they would come closer. I guess he was trying to be eagle bait.
We discussed the idea of throwing some dead fish in the yard, but Kathryn's not big on having her yard smell like dead fish.
Kathryn's neighbor said that one was sitting in the tree in Tom and Kathryn's front yard recently. The neighbor ran into the house to get a camera, but it left before she could get back.
Kathryn said there was a smaller brown bird with them. Maybe a juvenile?
I left after giving instructions to Kathryn to get some pictures.
Thank Goodness !!! I just arrived home from Shepherdstown and I was so praying for a new thread. Thank you! I got my wreath from Megan and it is big, beautiful, large red bow and a tiny little bird's nest right above the bow. I have a little red bird I always put up in my tree and now my bird can have a real nest! Megan was doing very well! I met up with Aaron and Valerie and did get the Peace Wreath for the front of Aaron's VW bus. Beautiful day!
I went over to NCTC and our friendly guard was there (gates were open) and he said take a quick swing around. I knew what he meant about quick! Deer hunt was going on and I wasn't certain after I knew that if I were going to take that quick swing around. But I did - slouched way down behind the steering wheel. NO SIGHTING of our Royal Couple The nest looked good from a distance. I just took it for granted that our still cam would still be down.
Hooray! Judie is home and getting some much needed rest. Darth, you did a good job keeping us informed and we appreciate it.
Now, the news today states that the two dead eagles found in Lancaster Co. PA were electrocuted. I saw on the older blog that Paula informed you of this. Still so sad!
Dana, good to see on again.
Shirley, loved the artwork and trees.
Jo, hope you got out of there safely. Don't want to she your head on a wooden plague. I don't understand why the hunters do that anyway. Wouldn't a phote do?
Lolly, sorry you had to change your plans. HOpe Jack is feeling better soon.
Lynn, my paternal grandparents emigrated from Hungary.
I know there are others on here that I wanted to respond to but this old brain is too cold and too old to remember. So prayers for those in need.
Yea! Judie is home! Thank you Darth for keeping us posted. Know you are happy to have her home.
Dana....glad you were on. Yes, we HAD a trip planned, but the trip did not go as planned. JACK had a medical problem and he has a temporary fix. He is better than yesterday. He is taking it easy and going to grill us hamburgers for supper. And, while he was taking it easy this morning, I got him to seal and stamp Christmas greetings. lol
Just talked with my brother. They had just visited the cemetery and taken flowers to Momma and Daddy's site. This made me cry. They are going to eat out tonight....Mexican food. Yummy! Nothing like Mexican food down in the Rio Grande Vally on the border!
Yes, decided the road in Bluefied was closed because the parade was lining up down there. Shucks! wanted to watch. lol
Oh, thank goodness for that terrific news, Frank aka Darth! Give Judie lots of TLC, and some extra hugs from the Momsters! Hope she gets some good sleep now and wakes up feeling really ready to get out of the SHEETZ!!! Hi to everyone else checking in.... ARGH! My plans just changed.....insurance guy called with a family problem, 20 mins. before I would have walked out the door.....guess I can go change back into my scruffs, and figure out what to have for dinner. Didn't eat lunch in anticipation of eating dinner out.
Oh, heck, going to go to store and pick up a few things I need....after going to the trouble of getting ready to go out, might as well go do SOMETHING! BBL.
Headed out the door to Mass - have to leave early as hubby has to man one of the special tables... It's the grocery certificates! You know if you have to buy groceries you may as well get a card for the store you visit and get the church a portion.
Hi, Everyone! Just got back from our morning outing; met sis-in-law for breakfast at 'Tiffie's Coffee Cup' in Fullerton, CA--really yummy home cooking! Then we went to the Nixon Library and saw a model train exhibit and went through the indoor part of the Library again. The outdoor part was closed due to the sometimes-heavy rain today. The train exhibit was amazing! Half of it was all Lego trains (actually made of Legos), and the rest was a collection of really old electric trains. Great fun for kids--even BIG ones! The whole Library is decorated for Christmas, so will put some of the pictures here for you to see.
Frank/Darth, I'm SOOOOOOO happy that Judie got to come home, and is finally able to hit the 'Sheetz' for a long panda nap! Thank you SO much for keeping us posted! I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say you are officially a 'Dadster' now! Prayers for Judie's swift recovery continue... Dana, it's GREAT to hear from you here! Your post gave me such goosebumps! You can be sure that Ed and all who preceded him will someday be running to greet you! (Hopefully not real soon! I would miss you too much!!!) BTW, I was praying for Tigress, Jo's kitty, because she's 23 years old and feeling the effects of old age. She's not particularly ill, just OLD. God bless her!
Have Christmas greetings ready to be mailed Monday. Also, had to prepare Christmas presents to family to be mailed. They were wrapped so pretty to take them and deliver in person. Tore the bows off and wrapped them in brown paper for mailing.,
Here's a pic of one of the old trains in the Nixon Library exhibit. They're hard to capture, because they're so fast! Flash photography is prohibited, too.
Okay, let me tell you about the book I am reading. It is "The Daily Coyote" by Shreve Stockton. Perhaps you know about it. I am just in the middle of the book. It is about this young lady and her coyote. It is fasinating and I would recommend it. Also, check it out on the web. She sends out daily pictures for a subscription of $5 a month. I have not done that, but have gone to her site to read about her. I am a fan for sure!
The Daily Coyote Many, many months ago I got an email from a reader telling me about her sister who lives in Wyoming, how she had adopted a coyote after its parents were shot for killing sheep and was taking pictures and writing about her adventures raising this wild animal. I linked to The Daily Coyote the day that I got that email, and from there her story spread like wildfire. Now that story is a book, one that I read in a single sitting which is saying a lot since my attention span is such that I can rarely sit through the plot of a two-hour movie. It's such a fantastic story, and I found myself mesmerized by her descriptions of the country, the simplicity of her way of life, and the connection she has with this animal. I would not be surprised if there are already plans in place to make this into a film, and while I was reading the book I kept thinking, I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE. Go read this book and be prepared to have your heart changed forever.
Sounds nice, very nice, Andrea, your excursion out today, the Nixon Library.... we have a roundhouse museum in Hagerstown MD which does a fantastic Christmas train layout - many trains running at one time, all different kinds.....
weather here sounds like it is going to be crappola overnight, hope that it does not make problems for Megan's Market Sunday ! freezing rain, possibly changing to rain overnight... Woof !! Snow is better than that!
Margy, NCTC gift shop has Eagle stickers....:) Lolly, book sounds great! Andy, love train displays! My daddy had a fantastic Lionel layout when we were kids....memories!
yep - you're right Lynn....just can't get there for them...I did get some once before, thanks I forgot Know I could order them from somewhere too, just didn't think about it in time
Good Evening again, Eagle Pals. Wow, the shows must be good !
I just had a long phone call visit with Dana.... she is doing okay, taking one day at a time, still enjoys hearing our phone messages that we have been leaving, and trying to work her way through emails.
Her daughter made it home in time for the graveside services, and that was a great comfort to Dana.
She sends her love to all, and grateful thanks, and appreciates continued prayers...for comfort and strength.
Well, I had a short nap and watched a cute movie. Glad you talked to Dana, Margy. Be glad you aren't working. State system for 27's & 28's is down....that must be a real pain!
yes little chickies are popping out of the shells now Love Morgan Freeman's narration. Yes, a pain, Lynn....and the weather, well, another reason to be home !
Hi all! Just finished my book and passed it to Jack. I would recommend the book to all of you. Thd Daily Coyote is very good reading. I want more!
Laurel just called. I got the boys the Wilton Gingerbread village. She said not to do it again. LOL It was much harder than doing one Gingerbread House.
Jack is watching the STARS and I just finished my book. What now? lol
A couple good hearted Momsters are placing on their personal blog the pic of the Christmas wreath that I got from Megan. I added my cardinal in the little nest Megan placed right about the bow.
Night, MEgan. Hope you have a good day at market tomorrow.
Lolly, you sound like you are at loose ends! How 'bout a bubble bath and a G&T??? Don't worry about the g'bread village----at least you didn't have to invest the time and energy into making it if it was that bad!!! And sorry you had to take off the pretties from your packages....:( I know how badly you miss the opportunity to go to the cemetery....but everything happens for a reason, so we have to trust that the Lord knows best.
Well, Dustin did have control over this 'puter most of the day. Too cold to mow or rake leaves and not much else for him to do around here. I made him BACON PASTA for supper and he really liked it. Couldn't find LIGHT CREAM this time, so I had to use WHIPPING CREAM. It has a whole lot more calories and I honestly didn't notice any difference. I got fresh garlic and green onions from the garden! The ground was so frozen, I could hardly get the shovel in. Love that dish, LOLLY:)
Well, dear ones, I am heading south to put wood on the fire and hit the tub and my book! See all of you tomorrow. Hope the bad weather isn't TOO bad! Stay safe and warm. And Praise our Lord for letting Judie come home!
Oh, Judie is home? I'll have to read back and get caught up.
I'm heading down the hall, too...oh no I'm not, I'm already down the hall. Tee Hee Tired, didn't sleep well last night. Worked my butt off today to help me sleep better...we'll see if that works.
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS SWEET DREAMS PRAYERS FOR ALL AND THANKFULNESS FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS.
I'm heading for my chair. I've been sleeping in a recliner for about 5-6 years because of surgeries, but I get a restful sleep. Hope everyone has a good, restful sleep and stays warm and dry.
Our weather is to be ugly come daybreak but Jim has to go to work, so I hope he'll be careful and I'll stay inside with my cats (Missy & Bandit) and read or watch football (probably).
If anyone else has to go out tomorrow, be careful! .. and take an umbrella.
Everyone is heading to bed and I JUST WOKE UP! lol Fell asleep in my chair again with puter on my lap. I remember as a child, we could drive by our grandparents house and see in and see them side by side in their chairs. No TV or fireplace, just side by side chairs, and they would be asleep. Well, guess what....I am there. Only, Jack is watching hockey and I have the puter on my lap. Too funny!
Laughed at your comment, Wanda. (Think I snorted!) lol You were already down the hall. Again, too funny!
We had great hamburgers tonight. Jack also found a bottle of "hamburger wine." No, G & T's, the wine did me in.
Good Evening! Anybody still here? Took me a while to get here after dinner. We watched "The Bishop's Wife" with Cary Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven. One of my all-time favorites. Then saw "Father of the Bride" with Spencer Tracy and Elizabeth Taylor on TV. Another good one! Notice that my still cam is black tonight. Hoping it gets fixed tomorrow. Lolly, I'll have to get the book you recommended. It sounds great! Well, think I will hit the dusty trail to dreamland. Prayers for all of us, for all kinds of needs, and prayers of thanks for our friendships. I've left both my porch light AND my outdoor Christmas lights on, since we can't see anything but a black screen tonight. The eye scanner is enabled. Sshhh! Please tippy-toe, and be VERY quiet! Don't want to wake Judie! (Be careful not to slam the door, too!) Sleep tight, and will talk to you in the morning. G'night, all. God bless! Love all you guys! :o]
Morning Ceil. Don't worry Margy, I'm not rushing out the door. I have two deliveries that hopefully can be taken care of later today. A cold rainy market will be very quiet, probably not a lot of customers out in it.
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---WHOA!---I finally found our blog!!---began to think---I had been voted off the island!!---So much GOOD NEWS!---DANA'S beautiful message----JUDIE is HOME & SLEEPING---JACK is feeling better--Think the COYOTE must be a good read!--(just added to my XMAS list)and it is great to see all the EAGLE BUDDY ELVES enjoying this WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS time of the year!!---GOD BLESS--& GOOD WISHES!!---
PAULA!---We have the same nasty weather here this am--cloudy skies with a temp of 29°--and my deer have moved around to this side of the house!!---Need to get the feeders filled this am!---there were 4 now 2 deer!---all does!
Dec 11, 2009 - the NBG eagle cam camera was connected and a new infrared light was installed. The male eagle cooperated by posing for photographs from 2:00 to 3:30. The female flew into the nest and he joined her. The plan is to have the web cam up right after the holiday season.
WHOA! MEMA JO!---The next time you choose to go driving through an area where folks are DEER HUNTING---Please attach an ORANGE BLAZE FLAG on top of your car!!!!!!!
Good Morning All! Sadden that our Still Cam is still down. I see the 4 guys over on the snowman cam - snowmobilers with their helmets. The BWE nest looks so neat and tidy. Norma - the deer hunters had left - they are early risers and this was early afternoon. But I agree with you! I should have just looked from the road - I didn't see any deer at all!
Good morning! I can not read the sign either. Zoomed in but it did no good. Looks like they were having a good time though. One guy refilled the feeders, did you see that?
Norma.....going to put on my Emmett Smith jersey soon and head to the grocery store. lol We get a 10% off our total of groceries if we have on a COWBOY jersey. Today I am going to buy major groceries and get a good discount!!

Thanks, Mits! I thought it was, but for some reason I can not get it today. Maybe it is down. Can you get it?
Good morning everybody. Heading to the Christmas parade in a little bit in BLUEFIELD! Love you guys!
I can't get it either this a.m., Lolly...
Thanks for update on Harper, Lolly. Hope that her seperation anxiety issues resolve. Nice looking family, for sure.
Again, thanks Mits! I am happy to know it is not my computer or settings. Thought I was loosing it there for a while. lol

Going to go get busy, but think I will be watching that cam occasionally.

Hi Ya'll:
I am happy to report that Judie is back home and in much, much better shape than when she left here.
Right now she is settling in for what I hope will be a long peaceful sleep.
She'll be back with you soon.
All my best,
Frank & Darth
Oh, bless you Frank for keeping us posted. We have been so concerned about Judie, and you have made things so much better with all of your news.
We will be very careful not to slam any doors!
Welcome home Judie! Thank you so much Frank for the update! Really means a lot to us for you keeping us in touch.
Shhh! Judie is sleeping at home. Thank God for that!
Dana it's good to have you on here.
Most of your emails could be deleted and you would not have missed anything but a cool pic or a good joke! lol
Shirley I sure wish you could have seen those eagles at Kathryn's. Hunter had a pretty good idea! lol
I am tired and am going to put my feet up until 4 and then head off to Mass.

Oh, heck, going to go to store and pick up a few things I need....after going to the trouble of getting ready to go out, might as well go do SOMETHING!
BBL.
busy busy at Sidney all afternoon....Lolly you did not miss any of the parade at all.
They really are working on that nest in Sidney!
lots of beaking at Sidney
Maine eagle
wow yeah, Maine laying in the nest....checking it out:)thanks, for the heads up Ceil

Poof Sydney nest
Headed out the door to Mass - have to leave early as hubby has to man one of the special tables... It's the grocery certificates! You know if you have to buy groceries you may as well get a card for the store you visit and get the church a portion.
Well - BBL
Jo me too. Got to get ready for Mass.
Hi Judie. Glad you are home and hope you get well soon.
Margy, you have mail.
I guess I shut down my nest com link. Can't get it back. Will not log out of the blogger tonight.

Eagle at BWE!
It takes so long to refresh BWE that you have time to get there and see the eagle.
Deer at snowman cam.
Frank/Darth,
I'm SOOOOOOO happy that Judie got to come home, and is finally able to hit the 'Sheetz' for a long panda nap!
Tore the bows off and wrapped them in brown paper for mailing.,
Poofed from BWE!
Deer poofed from snowman.
Here's a pic of one of the old trains in the Nixon Library exhibit. They're hard to capture, because they're so fast! Flash photography is prohibited, too.
Oops--Hubby wants me to come and watch a TV show with him that he found. BBL!
A review of the book......
Okay - Lolly.....
that's a good review!
Welcome back to your roost, Judie, know that you have the BEST NURSE there with you, judging by how well he nursed us during this crisis ♥
(( hugs to Judie and Frank ))
oboy, an Eagle was at BWE - nice going Eagle Eyed Lolly ☺ and Eagle Eyed Jim ☺
The Southern Delegation are going to have to share that moniker today with you two...
...and of course all the other Eagle Eyes on here, for Sydney, Maine etc ☺
I'm going to need someone to help seal, stamp, return label, and sticker up my Christmas cards too!
I need Jack !
Hi Margy! I am thinking about putting my nose back in my book. Have the Sidney cam up and listening to the birds.
BBL
Sounds nice, very nice, Andrea, your excursion out today, the Nixon Library....
we have a roundhouse museum in Hagerstown MD which does a fantastic Christmas train layout - many trains running at one time, all different kinds.....
glad Mema Jo saw OUR NEST - since we can't -
all good reports from her outing today ☺
I can envision her hunkered down in the driver's seat
okay, Hedgie, hope you are settled into what you're going to get into tonight.
I will never ever again go to a major shopping mall on this date....
only went to exchange grandson's pants, what an experience :(
did better at the Michael's Craft shop over there, though...
BUT - someone is missing their fortune, making Eagle Stickers !
None there, either !
I finished my book last night Lolly...might have to shopping again for the Coyote book...thanks!
and what a cool title !
Paula - when you return:
Have you received Birds & Blooms yet ? I got my current issue today, good friend renews it for me every year ☺ ♥ -

Woof !! Snow is better than that!
Margy, NCTC gift shop has Eagle stickers....:)
Lolly, book sounds great!
Andy, love train displays! My daddy had a fantastic Lionel layout when we were kids....memories!
yep - you're right Lynn....just can't get there for them...I did get some once before, thanks I forgot
Know I could order them from somewhere too, just didn't think about it in time
you would just think, patriotism, national bird and all, should be more available like flags are
Right you are, Margy! Maybe if you called (ask for Faith) she could mail them to you!
Eagles on CBS
HUNDREDS AT A LAKE IN IDAHO THIS TIME EVERY YEAR WHEN SALMON ARE DYING OFF.....didn't say WHERE in Idaho....argh.
Eagle Watch
Maybe this is it, Lynn.
Had some problems posting that. George walked across the keyboard. He wants to be fed.
Says not to stop on the road or watch eagles while you are driving. Good advice!
Thanks, SHirley....that is probably it!
FWS SITES ARE BACK UP

Hallmark movie does look good......
BBL
Good Evening again, Eagle Pals.
Wow, the shows must be good !
I just had a long phone call visit with Dana.... she is doing okay, taking one day at a time, still enjoys hearing our phone messages that we have been leaving, and trying to work her way through emails.
Her daughter made it home in time for the graveside services, and that was a great comfort to Dana.
She sends her love to all, and grateful thanks, and appreciates continued prayers...for comfort and strength.
I reminded her to be sure to eat right!
xo
Hi Margy,
It is quiet on here tonight.
Glad to hear you talked to Dana. I am sure she appreciates your support.
It would be nice to hear from Judie tonight, but she might well be sound asleep for many hours.
well Shirley maybe one of us will have insomnia and meet her in the middle of the night ☺
Great time to watch for Sea Eagles and oogle Pete's Pond
I'm chowing down on egg omelet and watching a little television now too
Cute avatar, Margy.
March of the Penguins on Ion TV, but I'm getting a late start on it
thx Shirley, been trying to find something for the season
I like yours too! forgot to say so
Thanks. One of our decorations. I have been lazy about finishing up the decorations. They are waiting for me.
Been watching Cops and America's Most Wanted. Not particularly upbeat stuff.
yes, but it is entertaining at times...I like to watch it but stumbled upon this one, narrated by Morgan Freeman..
I saw that at the movie theater.
Well, I had a short nap and watched a cute movie.
Glad you talked to Dana, Margy.
Be glad you aren't working. State system for 27's & 28's is down....that must be a real pain!
I like all the avatars!!
Weather report says 28 degrees in Martinsburg. Precip is on the way. It sounds like a mess. Be careful! Looks like Culpeper might get something too.
yes little chickies are popping out of the shells now
Love Morgan Freeman's narration.
Yes, a pain, Lynn....and the weather, well, another reason to be home !
and a side show with favorites Ed Sullivan show performers...Petula Clark now singning Downtown- commercial time on the other show
Hallmark Hall of Fame was good. Liked the song.
Good night all.
Good night, Ceil.
Missed you Ceil....Good Night ♥
G'night, sweet Ceil!
Good night Ceil!
Back from a very loooong day of shopping!
And what was in my Mailbox? My Birds & Blooms that I won at the Open House dinner, courtesy of Margy!
Oh, and Lynn, meant to tell you I got your Audobon magazine, too!
Yay Paula ! Should say from Eaglet Momsters (and maybe Dadsters?)...enjoy...
Diann, precious avatar!
What now? lol
I posted 2 pictures Jo sent me of the wreath she got today. On my Whatever blog.
Nite all:)
A couple good hearted Momsters are placing on their personal blog the pic of the Christmas wreath that I got from Megan. I added my cardinal in the little nest Megan placed right about the bow.
Check my blog to see Jo's Megan wreath----lovely!!!!
Great, saw it twice, must be great to see it ALL THE TIME !
Good news today...
Kathryn saw eagles, but Shirley missed them.
Judy is back home! YAY! Thanks, Darth.
Jo got a lovely wreath.
Dana stopped in.
Mits and Ceil saw lots of eagle activity at Maine and Sydney.
Our cam is back up!
Margy was off today!
Lolly finished a good book!
Lynn saw eagles on TV.
Megan popped in too.
Stores were crowded here too, Margy!
And sorry you had to take off the pretties from your packages....:(
I know how badly you miss the opportunity to go to the cemetery....but everything happens for a reason, so we have to trust that the Lord knows best.
Yes Diann - love your Christmas wreath!
and I think we are all in our Roosts for the night...hope so!
Hoping the bad weather forecast, magically ceases to occur!
Taking my new Birds & Blooms to bed, eyes too shot to read but not too shot to look at pictures!
Good Night, prayers for continued recovery in health, thanks for the dear friendship, and
God Bless Us, Every One
xo ☺ ♥
Lolly, BTW---G&T only has 103 calories!!! Not too bad, huh?
I think I'll start to call it a day
It was a good day!
Hope the incoming weather isn't too bad.
Good Night All!
Prayers for everyone !
Sleep well and stay warm !
((( hugs ))) ♥ ♥ ♥
Tee Hee
Tired, didn't sleep well last night. Worked my butt off today to help me sleep better...we'll see if that works.
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS FOR ALL AND THANKFULNESS FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS.
oooops we mighta lost FWS again, was just shutting things down, still cam black, wouldn't refresh....then wouldn't connect :(
I'm not going to close out the blog after all !
Margie - you can always get to the blog thru the EM website or yahoo group...
night all, I am slam wore out.
See ya in the am
Hugs to all ♥
Or you can bookmark it :)
FWS is down for me too, hopefully it will functioning in the morning.
Good nite and God bless us all.
Good night to everyone. Be safe.
Nite all. Headed to the shower.
Sweet dreams!
There is an Eagle on the nest at BWE
Blackwater Refuge Eagle Nest

Megan -
Hope Market Day goes okay for you...weather here has arrived, not sure what it is though.
Seems like just rain for now
Megan
IT'S FREEZING RAIN! JUST ABOUT BUSTED MY HINEY WHEN I WENT OUT TO CHECK !
Well hooray, Margy! The only ice I like is in a cold drink!
me too Megan...and in my 1st cup of coffee...
Ah, well I don't drink coffee...
I probably shouldn't either, not so much anyway....many years of shift work has corrupted me I guess
Green tea for the New Year...and more water...
Well, I know YOU will be careful, just hope everyone else does the same out on the highway
xo
You corrupted? say it ain't so. Anyway, I haven't even decided if I'm leaving the house yet, guess I need to make a decision.
Morning Margy and Megan. The M& M girls.
Thanks for the weather report. Jim has to go to work today.
Off to see cams.
Good Morning Ceil....
Maine is completely serene, and it's raining at Pix...
the M&M girls, how nice!
Megan - might improve later on....
but I would sure say stay home until or unless that happens!
Morning Ceil.
Don't worry Margy, I'm not rushing out the door. I have two deliveries that hopefully can be taken care of later today. A cold rainy market will be very quiet, probably not a lot of customers out in it.
Margy Maine is quiet. Missed BWE and nothing at BWO. Pandas one eating one sleeping.
Need tea. BBL
sounds like a good move if you can work it out like that Megan
lots of places getting woofy weather
had a phone call with Dana this morning , she could hear some of my 75 Canada Geese flying overhead northbound, over the phone
Two eagles at BWO, one with food
and a big clump of something green in the nest
News Flash from Lisa at BWE/BWO ref the Eagle Cam:
"We're getting ready to adjust the cam times to 45 seconds each. So tell all to refresh their pages in about five minutes
Lisa "
And, it has occurred !
and be sure to check out the photo links of picture captures of the Eagles at BWE....

A little bit of sleet here, but the temp is slowly rising.
Our cam is still down, the FWS sites are down.
Yup, saw those pics! Thanks for the heads up, Margy!
And the BWE pop up cam is working now, too :):)
And there is an eagle at BWO
Looks like nestovers in the near right corner at BWO
WOW!--It is a FOGGY MORNING in BLUEFIELD!!---
EAGLE at BWO!---AWESOME sight!
And Mits, thanks for the explanation of the lights on the chain at Finland...never knew it was there.
PAULA!---We have the same nasty weather here this am--cloudy skies with a temp of 29°--and my deer have moved around to this side of the house!!---Need to get the feeders filled this am!---there were 4 now 2 deer!---all does!
NBG update!!!
Good morning!
The eagle at BWO looks wet.
K10 at Pelican Harbor cam
People at Snowman.
MORNIN' JO!---Couldn't resist--seeing you hunkered down & driving must have been something!---YOU ARE COOL!!!
I can't read the sign the one young man is holding up to the Snowman Cam.
Can't read it either, Jo.
The 'LITTLE PRINCE' in SD is outside & one can barely see his little head in the grass!---He is so much like our TAI!---TOO--TOO ADORABLE!
You can see the snowmobiles leaving now
Good morning! I can not read the sign either. Zoomed in but it did no good. Looks like they were having a good time though. One guy refilled the feeders, did you see that?
Didn't see him refill the feeders. Nice of them to bring seeds.
I was wondering if one of the guys was the man who maintains the snowman. They all seemed to be talking to him. Or maybe they did bring seeds.
I need to refill my feeders, too. But is is so cold and raining. Yuck.
I have a cousin in Michigan, actually I have a lot of family in Michigan. But, I should tell this one cousin to get himself to the snowman cam!
It is presently 50 here and we have sunshine! Love it! Sun!!!
No sun here. Enjoy yours, Lolly.
Norma.....going to put on my Emmett Smith jersey soon and head to the grocery store. lol We get a 10% off our total of groceries if we have on a COWBOY jersey. Today I am going to buy major groceries and get a good discount!!
