Good morning everyone. Time to load the pop up cam and keep an eagle eye out while I get busy around here. Hmmm I have lots to do today and tomorrow. I am so glad I am retired :-)
Well GOOD MORNING eagletamigs! Breezy and cool with a little teeney bit of sun but I can see the clouds moving in.
Shirley, hope you got back to sleep...thankfully my cats don't wake us up in morning to be fed...they like to sleep in the bed as long as they can! Joker is on a diet and poor little Mitzi...well, she's just wasting away. Vet cannot figure out what's wrong with her as all tests are normal but she is loosing weight although has a good appetite and is acting just fine.
My EMG confirmed nerve compression in elbow with quite a bit of muscle damage. ( Cubital Tunnel Syndrome ) Then as an incidental finding, I also have a compressed nerve in the wrist...Carpal Tunnel Syndrome! No symptoms of that though, but waiting to talk to Dr....surgery is in my future. UGH. I must say however, the test was a piece of cake! Didn't hurt at all!
Wegman's and Giant have some lovely things. I will pick something up to serve tonight. I will let you know. Wish I had time to make something myself, but I just do not. Sometimes we do desserts, but sometimes, just hors d'oeuvres and snacks at the tables. And wine. We enjoy our wine. I have gotten some wines—Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Chardonnay, blackberry, Merlot. Need to pick up some white zin today. It’s a favorite.
I have had great results with shrimp. One time, my friends had to chase George away from the shrimp dish, though! George will be shut in my bedroom this time. He seems to know who doesn't like cats and tries to convince them to love him.
Wish you could play with us, Norma, but it would be a long trip.
Called doctor and spoke with nurse. Haven't heard back, but already know that I need to go ahead with the colonoscopy Monday. My principal had said attendance on Monday is mandatory, but I spoke with him, and he said he meant that for ones who "forget" to show up on in-service days. He assured me I don't fit into that category. Kathryn will take me on Monday. She told me the story of some poor woman who came to the body shop after having had an accident on the way to a colonoscopy. Kathryn felt so sorry for her. Not only did she wreck her car, she went through the prep and then missed the procedure.
It's really not, Shirley. But it is WEIRD. I have numbness in my pinky and ring fingers and sometimes in spots on my arm and hand. My hand was (is) very weak and that's what sent me to the Dr. The numbness started...a couple of months ago or so? Not too sure. Thought it would go away! HA!
Oh, how horrible, go through the prep but not the procedure. That means the prep again. Yuk!!!!!
Had to laugh at Shirley's cat stories. Annie wakes us up every morning....she wants to go outside. Makes me so mad. Wanna sleep!
Years ago, we were having a meeting at our house. This lady, that I did not particularly like, loudly proclaimed she was allergic to cats. When it came time to leave, I gathered coats from the bed in the spare bedroom. Our cat was asleep on HER fur coat. Jack and I still laugh over that! Nothing we could do, it had happened. Did not tell her and she never said anything. ☺
Sassafras, my basset, always woke up early in the morning, ready to go out. Kathryn's basset is so different. When I kept her while Kathryn was away, I came down to find her sleeping on the sofa--never allowed Sassafras to do that--Luna just looked at me as if she was saying, "Huh? You want me to do what? I just wanna sleep awhile longer." Since I had to go to work, I had to drag her off the sofa to send her outside.
Gonna have to think about how I will handle Kathryn's doggies and my new furniture. They aren't here often. Maybe a couple of blankets on the furniture.
Lynne, not feeling any pain during the nerve conduction study is good from one standpoint, but certainly diagnostic, too! One of the worst tests I have ever had!!!
I just noticed the breakdown of votes for Diego's name Here is the breakdown of the vote: Yun Zi: son of cloud 28% Xiao Long: little dragon 26% Xiong Wei: extraordinary bear 20% Yong Xiang: eternally blessed 14% Fu Sheng: blissful San Diego 12%
Good Morning... I cannot get the Still Cam up either. It was acting up late last night. I checked it out just before I climbed into bed (around 12am) and the seconds were not showing or working. I hope the Live Cam doesn't come on for a few days (DON'T THROW STONES AT ME!). Once it comes on, I will NEVER get anything done. I always get behind when the shop is open and haven't gotten caught up yet. If LYNN would come down here and blow my leaves away, maybe I could get my housework caught up:) Need to vacuum the whole house. Started Monday and the smell of STINK BUGS was so strong, I had to turn it off. I have no new bag to put in it, so that will have to wait until I can get a new one:( Ran out of detergent when washing clothes and had no oven cleaner. I use a little Dirt Devil for the steps and the belt broke on that. Have no idea where to get one! Oh, and the belt flew off the lawn mower. Need to get Gene to get a new one and put it on before he leaves for Hunt Camp tomorrow. We all have our bad days and times, don't we? I think a nice relaxing lunch with friends is what we all need;)
One nice thing about the new furniture--plenty of places to hide things in the empty drawers and under the coffee talbe. (One reason I like the coffee table. I keep my school books in there.)
there was some talk about it at meeting last week, most of the males in the states are still young, but MTBR....I am hoping so, still miss the big guy, Merlin...but found out last week they did not put him down, he died peacefully with the keepers by his side
Something is wrong with the NCTC line this morning. Couldn't open it directly or through beakspeak, so I used another link I made directly to the blog. And here I am...
It's kinda foggy here, and it just broke 50° when I refreshed, but it should get sunny and warmer later in the day.
I love his new name it is so appropriate for him...the Chinese government takes the naming of its cubs very seriously and I'm sure they are pleased with the name
Mits - I just saw on the news last night about MD playing and their ranking...and thought, geesh, I guess basketball season has started! I need to check the Mount's schedule. Don't think we're getting any seats this year :(
BWO eagle is feasting on something. I'm battening down the hatches.
Going to the pillows now. See you all later on, and hopefully an eagle or two also. Hoping the work beeper does not go off...I'm supposed to be off today but if something happens, I could end up in there :(
Hi, Everyone, I'm dragging in late today because I fell asleep after Hubby went to work, and slept 7 hours! Sure felt good to get a full night's sleep! Have read just a few things on the blog, but see that the still cam is indeed still; stuck is more like it. Good thing I got a really good 'eagle fix' yesterday! Hope the problem clears up soon. Well, got a lot to do here, and I'm really behind schedule, so will wish you all a good afternoon, and be back when I've caught up a bit. Prayers being said for all. Take care! :o]
Poor Wanda is sure having a bad day.:( Check your email, gal! Margy, hope you haven't been paged! Wow, Shar----maybe the robins are settling in to roost for the night before continuing on southward. Hi and bye, Andrea. Thanks, Jo---glad you like it. Hi, Thelma!
Back from visiting GeeGee. She told us that she had a dream about eating fried chicken and woke up hungry. I keep telling her she needs to eat more meat for protein, so she went to Martins and bought a family pack of chicken and brought it home and fried enough for an army...problem was, it was 4 o'clock in the morning:) Can't open Lynn's Tribute to Deb. Meant to try at Mom's and forgot. Will try again Friday.
That is so funny, Wanda! My mom used to tell story about she and daddy doing that in the middle of the night when they first got married. Of course, they already HAD the chicken---no all-night stores back then!
I hear the Shuttle successfully docked with the ISS...
Good Evening Eagle ♀'s and ♂'s - Wanda, Lynn is working on helping me open my attachment re Deb also...just afraid the whole computer is going to blow up ~
Wow, I got off work at 0600 - that was probably about the time GeeGee's chicken was done ☺
I can not open Lynn's tribute to Deb either!!!! Not happy!
Wow! I went out this morning and I have been outside all day. Did a iot of leaf blowing and then mowed to mulch. Then did some raking and Jack and I hauled leaves to the burn piie. More leaves yet to fall and we have not begun to clean the flower beds. Spent some time gathering over a bucket of pecans. And, lots more still at the top of the trees. Needless to say, I am pooped. But it is a good pooped. ☺
Wanda, sounds like things were just not going your way today. And, Gee Gee went out in the middle of the night? Now that is scary!
I would respectfully ask that someone/s going to the luncheon on Thursday wear something bright and yellow and sunny...which I would do if I could go....like the colors Deb wore at Open House ♥
And I trust you are ALL going to wear your Eagle Beads...☺ go ahead, get them out NOW so you don't forget them...
LOl Early in our marriage, after going to bed, one of us would say "French Fries, Yummy, salty, hot French Fries". And, up we would get, proceed to kitchen, peel and fry potatoes...mmmmmm yummy. Those were the days when we were young and skinny!!!
Gone for a few secs! Laurel called. She calls every day on her way home from school and on her way to pick up Jacob.
She said Jacob was reading last night. That's my boy! It is so exciting when they are learning to read and sounding out words. He is only in pre K. Sooo proud of him! Learned on the trip that he is a good student, eager to learn, takes correction, and on the edge of learning to read.
18 November: Some nest cam equipment was recently replaced and we will soon be making minor improvements to the nest tower that will enable the eagles to enlarge their nest. Little activity is taking place at the nest lately, although activity should pick up in a month or two, and we should have the cameras online again between now and then
Thank you, Margy, for asking. Yes, she is back to 100%. It took a long time but she is doing fine. She is more than caught up at school and getting ahead in lesson plans and grading. I get depressed when she is snowed under!
I was real happy to see crunch bob back on here last night. Crunch, here is the hummingbird cam, lots of cute action on here: (just saw a cute baby poop shoot....)
Well, it's officially official (ya think that is official enough), I've got my VA drivers license. I'm a Mountaineer always. I'm not a VA transplant as I believe they call'em. This is my home just for today and I'm thankful for it.
Diego had another exam. There is a video. I must say I was very disappointed and surprised. The name I wanted for him got the least votes. What does that say? lol Oh well, he is just so cute and oh, so popular!
Guess it is okay, Margy. I'm in penalty box so can't open email attachments. Congrats, T-bird! I won't make any comments other than to say that trading in my VA license for a WV one was very hard! That was 38 yrs. ago!!
Evening Everyone!!! Went to store after work, nibbled tiny bit of leftover lunch sandwich, now gotta really eat something! Didn't get a chance to try sending Lynn's atch. to "Save" in Word, yet. I tried to just open in Word---saved it to my Deb folder. It tried to open in Word Perfect by Corel & little file type was .wps! One time I got WP page & computer language! They told me at work they sometimes have that problem, so one lady takes them home & converts on her computer & brings back. Oh well, gotta eat! ☺ Will
I tried Jo, but think it is more my computer and me than anything, I still have not gotten it to open...I sure appreciate everyone's efforts to help out... I'm just not the techie I need to be . But I can feel the warmth coming from the attachment, even though I can't read it yet. Love the picture. Any news/updates on Robert....
The easiest way to open Hedgie's attachment is to first save it to your computer, then open your Word program, then click file, open and open the document.
If anyone still can't open it, I can resave in another format if you email me with what program you usually use.
Robert was just here picking up Alexis. He has an appointment Wed before Thanksgiving with the surgeon. He should know a date by then for the surgery. Gall bladder will be removed and that should go well. I am anxious for the liver biopsy result. Dr told him that his blood test showed a high ammonia count..
Thanks for the update Jo my brother in law has been dealing with high ammonia content for years...but he does not follow what the doctor tells him to do sometimes...he is very stubborn.
thanks Paula, had to download a Converter, will try again.
Spent the past 10 hours reading/grading assignments that were supposed to be done by the grad. student. I am NOT a happy professor today.
Trying to get caught up. Hope the still cam being down is a good omen.
Most important: tomorrow I will be in class during the luncheon for Deb. I will take a breath and think of her. Students will just think I'm having a senior moment.
Cruised by PAPix and was not happy with what I saw. Appears raccoons are devouring a doe -- don't know how it died but was a mention of a fox around the light/microphone area.
Must get to sleep early tonight.
Hope everyone had a nice day. Wanda, I truly hope tomorrow will be a much, much better day.
I'll stop by tomorrow. Turning my light off but leaving the night light on for others. Sure Andrea will stop by to activate the security system.
Hi Judie... There is a "carcass" site there, where deceased deer are placed, and although it looks pretty gruesome, it does allow the deceased to give life to the living, sometimes there are hawks, and foxes and other things. So sorry your day was a tough one. We love you ♥ !
BRAVO, WELL DONE, BEAUTIFUL AND POIGNANT TRIBUTE TO DEB
What an experience, taking all this in. Lynn, you have outdone yourself.....I would only say, that somewhere, at the very end, your name should appear as the Author, though I know you will say that we are all authors. The Lord sees all our ways, and he has surely seen yours...
Did You Know.....lots of used tires were placed off the coast at Assateague to form a reef.....about 200 of them washed ashore last week during Nor'Ida. Bad storm!
Thank you, darlin' Margy. Twas a definite labor of love.....no credit to me....more to the artistic work of Loretta and Wanda, and Deb herself, along with Chrissy's poem. But we all added our words of sorrow and comfort to make it come together for our family, and I just hope that Dianne and Pam find some peace in knowing how much Deb was loved.
Hi gang! Back for a bit----laundry going & have to go down in a few to put in fabric softener. No automatic dispenser, like last one. I didn't buy this!!!! Mail a little later, & gotta do nails..... Thx in advance, Paula.
Yes, Lynn, the tribute is fantastic. I am sure they will be overwhelmed with it and certainly find comfort.
I got it open with both Jo's and Paula's emails. Thank you, ladies. Sure appreciate all of you!
Left my laptop for a while and worked on the computer. We do not open mail on the laptop. I have now showered and all comfy in my jammies in front of the fire.
HOORAY!!! I got Lynn's tribute to Deb open. Lynn, that is a wonderful compilation of all that was done and said by Deb's Momster and Dadster friends upon learning of her passing. That must have taken a lot of time and effort on your part...how special you are!
Good evening everyone. I see others couldn't open Lynn's attachment of Deb's memorial. I never had the pleasure of meeting her but I would love to see this if someone will help me too.
Had a rough day of PT today and am a bit sore. Had a new therapist and she was tough! Now I have a day to heal before I go back to do it on Friday.
I finally got my doctor's office straightened out. Stopped by on my way home from PT and had them running around looking for my new script. My message to the doc apparently never made it to him, but another doctor in the group called it in for me. Now ... I can get some relief of this hip pain. I think it's bursitis. Though the doctor didn't diagnose it, I know my body and I've had it before. This getting older is H@%#
I know it's late and I've probably missed most everyone, but my prayer is for everyone of you to have a restful sleep and a good day tomorrow. God bless!
Thanks, all. I am going to shut down this silly internet.....hopefully I will be restored to high-speed by morning! Time for news and then tub. Prayers for all. G'night.
Norma, I served shrimp and coctail sauce, cheese and crackers, melon and pineapple, some of those chocolate-covered and vanilla yogurt-covered pretzels, and a party mix. That was my supper, and several others said it was theirs as well.
They enjoyed the wine, but I had water because of the meds I am taking. There is enough left over for me to enjoy later.I can probably take some to our Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. We are getting together with Tom's family at his brother's house. They are expecting 28 people in their small house. I am beginning to think we need to rent a hall for our Thanksgiving get-togethers.
Very tired. Will see you later. Wanda and Judie, I hope your tomorrow is better than today.
Lynn, I so appreciated the tribute to Deb. The other day I went through all of my old pictures and saw that she had commented on one of mine.
Thanks Paula! My email addy is on the EM members list. Prefer not to use the yahoo address since I don't check it often, but the comcast addy is my major email. I tried to email you from the Windows Mail, but I don't have much luck with that.
Just thought of something .... facebook. I think you're one of my friends?
Good Evening, Everyone! Have been reading the tribute to Deb. Thanks SO much, Jo, for converting it to MS Word. I couldn't open it before, and now I can. Prayers for Robert being said! Lynn, kudos to you for such an amazing document! It surely took hours and hours to do, and you can be proud of it! Judie, sounds like you had a really rough time of it today. Hope a good night's sleep will help. We're one day closer to Thanksgiving! YAY!! Pray your day will be much better tomorrow! Shirley, glad your get-together was a success. Sure sounds like a good time was had by all. Hope you're feeling better today, too! Diann, sorry you are so sore after your PT. Had bursitis in one shoulder when in high school; can't imagine how painful it would be in a hip! Bless your heart! Lolly, so glad that Laurel is doing so well--does my heart good! Wanda, sounds like you had a bit of a rough day--hope you sleep well, and the new day is a good one! Well, I'd better say goodnight. Have some reading and homework to do for tomorrow night. Need to read more of the tribute to Deb, too. It's awesome! Prayers being said for all, and I'll leave a night light on, since the nest cam is still stuck. The porch light still works, and the eye scanner is enabled. Sleep tight, everyone! Good night! :o]
P.S.~~Hi, Grannyblt! Haven't seen you here in a while; good to have you back! We are all reeling with the loss of our Deb. Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers. We are certainly missing her! Gotta go now and get some work done. Hope to see you here tomorrow! God bless! :o]
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---Just scanned yesterday's blog---need to find LYNN'S 'TRIBUTE TO DEB'---LYNN2--we do an exercise for the CT thing--w/send later--SHIRLEY sounds as if you had a great bridge evening---HEDGIE -- I was almost sure we were getting SNOW yesterday--it was MISTY here! I can't go either...am on call with the beeper for work, couldn't make it back to the office fast enough if they beep, and lots going on at work this week. When I grow up, I want to be retired.
Also, our still cam is stuck on yesterday.....internet problems there from yesterday knocked it out, Steve knows about it.
Good Morning... Miss Norma, Michael is Robert's father. He went with our group for a nest visit in the Spring. Super nice youn man...I've not met Robert, but saying prayers for good report on his liver condition and a speedy removal of his gall bladder.
Norma The tribute to Deb, is a project that Lynn put together, and is on an attachment to an email. It is a compilation of our thoughts about Deb from when, and even before, we got the news of her death. I am going to try to see now if I can print it off here, and if so will send it to you.
Margy, we can get a helecopter from Frederick State Police to fly you home, in case of emergency...they would probably be honored to do that for you! You know we will miss you. Your work really does interfere with your fun!:)
Wanda Wanted to also thank you for that composite picture on the tribute pages....with Paula's avatar and the picture of Deb superimposed on it....absolutely stunning
Norma, you can see some of these on Wanda's photo links (i.e. Wanda's Wishes )
Good morning! Rainy day.....as per usual when i have to go someplace! Here's a BIG Did You Know......obviously nobody did!.... Cleveland Metroparks Zoo have "discovered" after more than 50 years that their giant Aldabra tortoise is a Terry instead of a Mary! Duh!

I am so grateful for the pop up cam.
for Norma who has probably already left, the answer to her question is
I was meaning to say , prayers for ROBERT - I got Jo's kids mixed up.
Maybe I shoulda gone to the shrink instead of the chiropractor
...Robert, Jo's grandson
We met his Dad at the nest visit last May at NCTC
xo nap time
Good morning........very gloomy here---looks like a snow sky, but know that's not happening, thank goodness!!!
LOL Magpie I was just wondering about me going to a shrink. I htink I need more caffeine that brain isn't kicking in so good yet this am
eagles have poofed at BWO..talked to Lisa yesterday, they are waiting on tree men to make adjustments for this years eagle season
Morning, all!
Have a great day!
you too, Paula.

Need to go to old thread and see if our Regal Couple visited early this am.

Good morning again.

Jo, the 6 pack is on view at NZ now
Is anyone else seeing black on the still cam?
Mits - thanks They are all snuggling
It's cold outside even with a fur coat.
Yes, Lynne My cam is black right now and the Refresh button hasn't brought it back up yet. Gave me a Page Load Error.....
Good morning!
Oh, how horrible, go through the prep but not the procedure. That means the prep again. Yuk!!!!!

Yes, I have black on my cam. Refresh did not work, so got out and now can not get back in.?????
Message I get
Oops! This link appears to be broken
Help!!!! We have been cut off!
Time to go eat breakfast and get a few things done.
BBl
maybe they are putting the live feed up.
hey, maybe these are technical glitches due to getting LIVE CAM up!!!!
Let's hope that what we all are thinking about 'just maybe Live Cam is closer to us than we know' is true.
ok, just looks like the norm, thing that happens..can't get onto any fws.gov sites
when you go to the daily blog page and hit live feed it brings up myoutdoortv.com, but no pic
Sassafras, my basset, always woke up early in the morning, ready to go out. Kathryn's basset is so different. Gonna have to think about how I will handle Kathryn's doggies and my new furniture. They aren't here often. Maybe a couple of blankets on the furniture.
BBL--Still have work to do!
Lynne, not feeling any pain during the nerve conduction study is good from one standpoint, but certainly diagnostic, too! One of the worst tests I have ever had!!!
Time for a bite of lunch and then have apptmt. for trim and perm.
See you all later this afternoon.
Awww, eewwiie laying in the BWO nest
My NCTC pic is gone too...probably an FWS issue
I just noticed the breakdown of votes for Diego's name
Here is the breakdown of the vote:
Yun Zi: son of cloud 28%
Xiao Long: little dragon 26%
Xiong Wei: extraordinary bear 20%
Yong Xiang: eternally blessed 14%
Fu Sheng: blissful San Diego 12%
FWS website down? Can't get the cam.
Maybe they are working on put up the link for the live feed? Hey, a girl can hope!
If LYNN would come down here and blow my leaves away, maybe I could get my housework caught up:)
Need to vacuum the whole house. Started Monday and the smell of STINK BUGS was so strong, I had to turn it off. I have no new bag to put in it, so that will have to wait until I can get a new one:(
Ran out of detergent when washing clothes and had no oven cleaner.
The ducks & sea gulls have taken over the penguin pool in Balt........
I agree with you Wanda - some days it just doesn't pay to get up!
One nice thing about the new furniture--plenty of places to hide things in the empty drawers and under the coffee talbe. (One reason I like the coffee table. I keep my school books in there.)
Also a good spot to keep my little book with all the Momster stuff.
Got the cam back but the time says 10:38 a.m.
still back up for me but wrong time
sloth bear demo at National Zoo now
Mits - any word that a male sloth bear will come to the zoo?
there was some talk about it at meeting last week, most of the males in the states are still young, but MTBR....I am hoping so, still miss the big guy, Merlin...but found out last week they did not put him down, he died peacefully with the keepers by his side

GOOD MORNING,
EVERYONE !!
**********************
Something is wrong with the NCTC line this morning. Couldn't open it directly or through beakspeak, so I used another link I made directly to the blog. And here I am...
It's kinda foggy here, and it just broke 50° when I refreshed, but it should get sunny and warmer later in the day.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
that looks like Kali the sloth bear, nice close-up
yes, Jim, we know
Immature Eeuuuwiieee still "nesting" at BWO. Don't know if it's the same one that Paula mentioned earlier.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Jim I sure hope you didn't think we were 'black balling' you!
All of us lost the cam and all other NCTC sites for a while. We were hoping the new link for the live feed was being done! No such luck yet!
Just tried the beakspeak route again, and I was able to open the still cam.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
We still don't think the cam is moving - time is stationary since it came back on. Timer is ticking away but no change in the time.
Jason had us knocked off of beakspeak.com until just very recently he restored it.
Video of the 11th exam and name ceremony is on SD Zoo. Our little
Son of Cloud is growing fast!
Need to take care of some things - wrapping box for shipping to Germany.
BBILW
I love his new name it is so appropriate for him...the Chinese government takes the naming of its cubs very seriously and I'm sure they are pleased with the name
Thanks, Mema Jo. You are right, my still feed is truly "still" also.

Mei Xiang is destroying a cardboard box, with honey on it at NZ
from BWO..go to their site for picture.....
11/18/09:
It appears we had a tussle between two turkey vultures regarding use of the platform.
I'm pretty sure Steve would know about the cam being stiller than still...but I will email him anyway, I think he is getting used to emails from me.
Hope everyone's day progresses well.
Two doc app'ts behind me, time to finish my nap. Work at night, sleep in the daytime.
Wanda, I guess this is NOT your day for housework....
Prayers for wellness....
xo ☺ ♥
I did get all the evening visit pictures from last night on the album, if you get a hankering to see an eagle
Make that two :)
would be a good day for some HP there Paula ♥ ♥
hey there Paula...MSM is playing AU tonight, hubby is going to try to swing by and see game.
Message from Steve just now, regarding Still Cam...
" Working on it. Internet was down off site, and that caused the lock up. "
Thanks Margy. Well we know what wasn't happening!
Thanks, Margy for emailing Steve. I was just going to ask if someone had done that...they might need a reset there.
Ma Eagle chowing down at BWO
You're welcome Jo.
And thanks for the update, Margy.
Hoping the work beeper does not go off...I'm supposed to be off today but if something happens, I could end up in there :(
you're welcome too Paula...
hope you saw that lone eagle squawking for the brief time when there was only one in the nest

Hi Mits ♥

Hi, Everyone,
I'm dragging in late today because I fell asleep after Hubby went to work, and slept 7 hours!
Take care! :o]
hello eagle momsters and dadsters
There is a bazillion robins out here! Is that normal?
Hello....I am home.....took me forever to get on. I am in time-out again, I guess from sending such a big file last evening! Can't win!
I keep telling her she needs to eat more meat for protein, so she went to Martins and bought a family pack of chicken and brought it home and fried enough for an army...problem was, it was 4 o'clock in the morning:)
Can't open Lynn's Tribute to Deb. Meant to try at Mom's and forgot. Will try again Friday.
LOL, Gee Gee went out in the middle of the night for chicken to fry?
That is so funny, Wanda! My mom used to tell story about she and daddy doing that in the middle of the night when they first got married. Of course, they already HAD the chicken---no all-night stores back then!
Wanda, more email!
I hear the Shuttle successfully docked with the ISS...
Good Evening Eagle ♀'s and ♂'s -
Wanda, Lynn is working on helping me open my attachment re Deb also...just afraid the whole computer is going to blow up ~
Wow, I got off work at 0600 - that was probably about the time GeeGee's chicken was done ☺
Some of my computer updates fail to occur, and some of the Microsoft word things are some of them
Sharon
Maybe you are fortunate to have some over-wintering robins ♪ ♫
Any updates on Mrs Riffe today?
Thanks in advance....
Lolly - you could have had Pecans roasting over an open fire....♪ ♫
We have the Jack Frost nipping at our noses over here on the East Coast ☺
What???? You are meeting for lunch on Thursday. Well, excuse me! I am going to sit in the corner and pout! I wanna go!!!!!
LOL We had frost this morning too. 62 right now.
It's the get-together in honor of Deb, Lol....
I'll send another link around on an email for Deb's Tribute from Lynn.
I also had to convert Lynn's version to my Micro Soft Word..........
I'll sent in E_M mail.
Hubby had to do mine
Jo - I want you to adopt me.
Thanks, Jo! You are a sweetheart!
You all have a wonderful time Thursday and know that I would be with you if I lived closer. Will be with you in spirt. ooooooooo!!!!
Do we know what trails or cams Mits will be on tonight?
I see where she was off to the Zoo
Gone for a few secs! Laurel called. She calls every day on her way home from school and on her way to pick up Jacob.
She said Jacob was reading last night. That's my boy! It is so exciting when they are learning to read and sounding out words. He is only in pre K. Sooo proud of him! Learned on the trip that he is a good student, eager to learn, takes correction, and on the edge of learning to read.
Oh, the places he will go....
sounds wonderful Lolly.
Is Laurel back to 100 % these days?
From OK eagle cam..............
18 November: Some nest cam equipment was recently replaced and we will soon be making
minor improvements to the nest tower that will enable the eagles to enlarge their nest. Little
activity is taking place at the nest lately, although activity should pick up in a month or two, and
we should have the cameras online again between now and then
Thank you, Margy, for asking. Yes, she is back to 100%. It took a long time but she is doing fine. She is more than caught up at school and getting ahead in lesson plans and grading. I get depressed when she is snowed under!
...just like a True Mom ! (to worry...)
Glad to hear she is ready and rarin' to go. The upcoming holidays sound nice for you Lolly.
Did you see, Radio City Music Hall Christmas concert on PBS on Nov 26 - "check your local listings "
xo ☺
I am entertaining Alexis

Go to Saline cam!
Saline River Valley Cam
Will check that Margy! I had so much fun last year going to New York!
That man at Saline is so funny!
mine keeps starting and stopping but I will try it again.
Thanks Lolly...
but I have to disappear for awhile.
Been nice spending this part of the evening with you ☺ ♥
Sure don't know what your alls' computers did to my document. It was written in MS Word..........guess internet gremlins messed with it!
I was real happy to see crunch bob back on here last night.
Crunch, here is the hummingbird cam, lots of cute action on here:
(just saw a cute baby poop shoot....)
Dellwo Hummingbird Cam
Thanks for helping, Jo.....not familiar with the file attachment showing on the end of yours!
Lynn...my computer is just old and doesn't do some of the updates...your document it still intact though right?

Well, it's officially official (ya think that is official enough), I've got my VA drivers license. I'm a Mountaineer always. I'm not a VA transplant as I believe they call'em. This is my home just for today and I'm thankful for it.

See you all later.

later Magpie
Diego had another exam. There is a video. I must say I was very disappointed and surprised. The name I wanted for him got the least votes. What does that say? lol Oh well, he is just so cute and oh, so popular!
Enjoying a fire in the fireplace. Guess I will go heat up beans and cornbread. Must say, I do like it when all I have to do is reheat. lol
Will
Loretta Check you email for the converted Deb file.......... Let me know if it doesn't open........

Dr told him that his blood test showed a high
ammonia count..
Lynn - it's not you. Sometimes different versions of word cannot open newer versions of Word. We'll get it to open for everyone.
Going to leave for a while

Thanks for the update Jo my brother in law has been dealing with high ammonia content for years...but he does not follow what the doctor tells him to do sometimes...he is very stubborn.
thanks Paula, had to download a Converter, will try again.
Margy and Lowreeda, you have mail.
Paula, Lynn, and Jo:
All righty now, downloading that converter worked! I am going back now to read it....thank you all so very much !!!
Love Rocks !
Lolly, you will have mail in a minute, too.
Hi everyone,
Spent the past 10 hours reading/grading assignments that were supposed to be done by the grad.
Cheers,
Judie
Thanks, Paula....didn't think of telling folks to try it that way!
Thanks for the update on OK, Lolly. Have been checking there periodically for updates.
Well, if Jo's version doesn't work, maybe mine will.
Hi Judie...
There is a "carcass" site there, where deceased deer are placed, and although it looks pretty gruesome, it does allow the deceased to give life to the living, sometimes there are hawks, and foxes and other things.
So sorry your day was a tough one.
We love you ♥ !
Going to work on paperwork...bbl
To our Beloved Lynn aka Hedgie :
BRAVO, WELL DONE, BEAUTIFUL AND POIGNANT TRIBUTE TO DEB
What an experience, taking all this in. Lynn, you have outdone yourself.....I would only say, that somewhere, at the very end, your name should appear as the Author, though I know you will say that we are all authors.
The Lord sees all our ways, and he has surely seen yours...
God Bless You, and Thank You, dear friend
..with endless ♥ and xoxox's
Did You Know.....lots of used tires were placed off the coast at Assateague to form a reef.....about 200 of them washed ashore last week during Nor'Ida. Bad storm!
Thank you, darlin' Margy. Twas a definite labor of love.....no credit to me....more to the artistic work of Loretta and Wanda, and Deb herself, along with Chrissy's poem. But we all added our words of sorrow and comfort to make it come together for our family, and I just hope that Dianne and Pam find some peace in knowing how much Deb was loved.
Oh my....just realized that I completely forgot to congratulate the MD folks on the Ravens' great win Monday night!!
Yes, Lynn, the poem, and photo are wonderful as well with thanks to Chrissy and Loretta...and you again.
Time for Good Night Prayers.
Hope sleep is restful and restorative.
Thanks again everyone, for your friendship, a true and priceless gift ...
God Bless Us, Everyone
xo ☺ ♥
Good night, Margy!
Sweet dreams! Luv ya!
There is a opposum at Saline.
Have not watched Saline in a long time. The possum is chowing down.
HOORAY!!! I got Lynn's tribute to Deb open. Lynn, that is a wonderful compilation of all that was done and said by Deb's Momster and Dadster friends upon learning of her passing. That must have taken a lot of time and effort on your part...how special you are!
GOOD NIGHT FRIENDS
SLEEP WELL
PRAYERS FOR ALL
Good evening everyone.
G'night.
Hello folks,
Bridge went well.
Almost closed down without biding you
Good Night All
Peace to you and yours
Prayers for all needs/wants & prayers of thankfulness
(((hugs))) ♥ ♥
Diann - click on my name and send me an email...I don't have your email address...will forward the tribute to you.
I just read a couple of weeks posts and find out about our Deb Palmer. I will miss her posts and pictures. Prayers to her family and friends.
Diann - I found your email...forwarded the tribute
Diann - sent it to your comcast email
Granny - we are surely missing Deb.
Time to call it quits!
Night all! Sweet dreams!
God bless! :o]
My day is finally done....
Gnite to everyone

GOOD MORNING! Foggy and drizzle here in R'town this morning.
Gotta run, have Dr appt at 9....have a great day everyone!
Good Morning Eagle ♀'s and ♂'s.
Norma...I'm thinking you might have missed some of the postings about the luncheon when your computer was down :(
We've also talked about a nest visit in the Spring for a memorial.
I answered your question: Who is Michael? by saying I had names mixed up, I meant to say ROBERT.
(Jo's grandson).
Norma
The tribute to Deb, is a project that Lynn put together, and is on an attachment to an email.
Thanks Wanda....I appreciate your thoughts.
Norma, it is printing NOW - I will get this in the mail to you TODAY!
You all, remember your Eagle Beads ☺
Maine is the only cam I have up showing sunshine, and it is beautiful there.
Wanda
Wanted to also thank you for that composite picture on the tribute pages....with Paula's avatar and the picture of Deb superimposed on it....absolutely stunning
Norma, you can see some of these on Wanda's photo links (i.e. Wanda's Wishes )
Just stopping in to say have a good day
You too Ceil...good to see you.
♥
Good morning! Rainy day.....as per usual when i have to go someplace!
Here's a BIG Did You Know......obviously nobody did!....
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo have "discovered" after more than 50 years that their giant Aldabra tortoise is a Terry instead of a Mary! Duh!
Ha, Ha, Lynn...Your Myrtle could be Myrt!:):)
Margy, thanks for printing out the tribute for Norma. I was going to do it, but I am out of printer ink at the moment!
good morning everyone, have a good one...
I had a spare cartridge Lynn...lucky me for a change. It's
46 pages. Anyone else who needs a printed copy, let me know.
Terry instead of Mary...that's pretty funny ☺
Good Morning Helen...how was the Zoo yesterday
Good morning everybody!
For sure, Wanda!!
