Helen, TY. Will send him a note. Gotta take lunch & pills BTW, I keep getting generics, too & I write what their orig. name was or what they're for on the bottle!!
I should also told that Jack Hanna brought on a Bengal tiger cub, a Bactrian camel 4 mo. old baby, a miniature horse, 2 flamingo chicks who they were tube feeding, a white-throated raven (the white is actually on the back of the neck) who would pluck poker chips out of his fingers and deposit them into a food container w/ a slot in the lid--this is called cacheing. It also tore pieces of tissues and tried to put them in, too.
Shirley, called Verizon Fios, they said they can't help so they told me to call Compaq tech support and I am on "perma-hold" now waiting. FCC is next. I am hearing something being built, like saws and hammers, and car horn, airplane.
I can't remember what site it was--it may have been Maine---even tho' I closed the site, the sound remained on my puter until I rebooted..........I'm sure you've tried that, right?
Shirley, tell Suzi to go for it! Jack is getting old! But he sure has done well financially with all that he has done! Owns like 4 homes/farms/ranches, his favorites being I think Kentucky and someplace in Africa.
yes Lynn, tried that. Called Verizon, say not their problem, called Geek Squad, had me do some things, says it is Fios problem. Filed complaint with FCC. Gotta go, my pinky and ring finger have been getting numb and worsening....too much time on computer!
Back for a sec. I did email Steve about keeping Deb's pic on Blog page. At 7:30 PM, I'm going to read Chrissy's peom (if I can see) & look at the eagle pic--printed out the document that shows both. Chrissy sent me her idea for naming chicks next year~~Deb & Palmer! I like that.
I am home Bong Bong Bong Bing Bing Bing MRI's aren't so bad - I even was playing in my mind of Houston: This is Mission Control: All Systems Go!
Won't know of any results for about 48 hours... If no call I'll call Dr and speak to him personally on Friday. Not going to let happen to me what happened to Shirley!
Yes - Loretta - I also plan at 7:30 our time to read the poem and reflect on Deb & her family.
I just emailed Chrissy & mentioned that she will be silent 'cuz that is 12:30 AM her time! Told what I was going to do. She seems overwhelmed that we love her poem so much & since she did write it originally for Koo, I think it's very appropriate~~~they are probably visiting each other!
well, I am off to the Cardiologist....I have to pay $30 for him to tell me that the reason my blood flow isn't showing a good uptake in a certain area because my breast tissue is too dense to get a good look. Waste of time and money I think. Although maybe it's not a good sign that my fingers are numb! See ya later!
Good evening eagle buds! Been lurking around all day. I went to Deb's condolence site and posted something. Just bawled reading all the wonderful things people said about her. We need to make sure to say those things to people that are still here before we have to post them on a funeral home site, ya know it??
BTW, I love ya'll! Are we gonna do a moment of silence at 6:30 this evening?
I also decided while tossing and turning, that I endeavor to GET OUT and experience more Wildlife ! To be able to identify Birds as Deb could, is a Dream.....
Magpie, I know what you mean. I wish I was half as good at identifying birds as Sharon and Beverly. Forget going out in nature, how about just around the bird feeders at my house.
I wish I was off tonight would rather spend my moments with you friends than be in the midst of som 80,000 + people locally with telephones....my co-workers are nice people, but you know what I mean, about tonight...
Prayer of St Francis of Assisi (Lord, Make Me an Instrument of your Peace...)
the 23rd Psalm, and From the Gospel of Saint Matthew, Chapter 12, Verses 28 through 30 (Matthew, 12:28 - 30)
"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light."
Time to make ready. Love to all, we shall hold each other close tonight, Yes ?
I have my picture and poem printed off. Thank you so much Paula for putting them together for us to find and save easily.
Is anyone planning on sitting here quietly on this Blog at that time, or are you pretty much just going to sit quietly wherever you are and reflect on that special one who shared her passion for eagles and all of wildlife with us if even for a shorter time than any of us could possibley guess? I can sit here quietly but I don't want to sit here alone. I can find another place to be if that is what I need to do. Please post your plans if you read this. Thanks
I'll be sitting here, too, Glo and Jo. I am having so much trouble with my puters this evening, that I can't access hardly anything---mail, etc. If someone could please do a copy and paste of Chrissy's poem right here so that I can have it in front of me, I would be deeply appreciative.
Don't cry for me, my Family, For now, I’m but a Whisper on the wind, I'm free to soar and glide so happily, For now, I'm but a whisper on the wind, My Freedom is blessed, I'm sure you now see, For now, I'm but a whisper on the wind, Look to the skies, JUST call for me, For now, I'm but a whisper on the wind, I'll say to you all, my dearest family, For now, I'm but a whisper on the wind, My Spirit soars, please, don't be sad for me, For now, I'm but a whisper on the wind, Remember me, from time to time my family, For now, I AM, THAT WHISPER ON THE WIND !!!
Glo, I just wrote Chrissy that many of us will be reading her poem and she is overwhelmed that we like it so much. She originally wrote it about Koo at at that time I put Koo's pic & the poem together too & sent to her. I think it's so appropriate for Deb also and they are probably both together. I won't be on 'puter, but sitting somewhere w/my printed copy.
Gotta tell ya'---weather is crazy. It has barely rained a drop here since 9am---but 6 miles SE, Bill says it has been raining steadily all day. Go figure!
I must be so tired I have brain damage. Seems I made an almost identical post twice!!! DUH Fubby will not go to Applebee's, so guess I have to go cook!
Hi, Everyone, I'm back here now also--had a nice lunch with Hubby and Sis-in-law. Thanks, Glo, for posting Chrissy's poem! I'll be observing the moment of silence, too.
Hi all! Had a good day in that I got a lot accomplished.
Having a hard time again today. Can not get Deb off my mind. It has really done me in. I miss her so. Always looked forward to when she got on the blog. Not sure where I will be at 6:30, possibly on here.
Jo, I am so glad you did well with the MRI. Interesting, isn't it. We will all be anxiously awaiting the doctors report.
Forgot to tell you. I was in my van, running errands in town, listening to the radio and thinking of Deb. A song came on the radio, do not know what it was, but it had the phrase "fly like and eagle." I was amazed!
Lolly - thanks for thinking of me. Yes, the waiting for results is the pits!
Glo I was so moved with your video for today of the Warriors Walk. My daughter and family (SSG RYAN) walked it when Ryan buddy was put to rest after he succumbed to the burns he received over in Iraq. So brought tears of respect to my hear. Susan still keeps in touch with his wife and their twins!
Yes MeMa Jo I remember. The Warriros Walk is something else that is very hard to put into words. I went there twice. Once for the big picture, and once to try to share the indivdual parts to the story each tree tells. I was very very moved as I walked slowly and took a closer look at many of those trees.
Deb always showed concerned for others. She always would reply to me whenever I would send a family pic of someone - even those she had never met. She always had kind words full of special feelings. Love that gal! I was talking to her today while inside that darn tube! Really calmed me! Don't think I'll ever look at OUR nest and not think of her!
I will not be at the computer this evening but I will have the moment of silence and prayer. We will silently be helping each other. You are all loved!!
Deb was the best at seeing and sharing some of the greatest and yet free things life has to offer. I hope she has aleft some of that behind for all of us.
I will post Chrissy's poem again in about 3 mins although my guess is most of s here already have it printed with the picture Paula fixed together for us, but in case you need it as we go into our time of silence and celebration.
It's almost that time. I can see Dianne and Pam, preparing the group for prayer. They look so much like Deb. The Palmer sisters are like three peas in a pod. And as Jo and Helen can verify, Dianne sounds just like Deb.
Lord I lift up those who celebrate the life of Deb Palmer both near and far. We thank you for her life, her skills and her memories left behind. I pray that in time those memories continue to bring comfort and peace to all those who knew her, and are dealing with our loss and yet accepting heavens gain. Amen
Deb, I'll never forget you, my friend. You will greatly missed, and always remembered. Finding comfort in knowing that someday we'll meet again, only in person. Love always!
After I read the poem, I looked at her Nest Pictures, a video of Hidey and a parent in July, & fed the hamster. Glo and Ceil, you both have said the most profound words that mean so much for our Dear Deb~~~We love you.
I can find peace when I picture Him holding her in the palm of His hand. Sometimes we need to be cradled in love and I can think of no better place to find supreme love peace and rest.
Sissy, I totally agree. Would be heavenly to get a pic of both of them together. Need a Photoshop genious. We've got tons of Koo pics, need Deb face on.
Thinking of Deb's family right now. I hope they know how much Deb touched our lives. I personally will remember Deb on that Sunday nite at the nest when I last saw her. She LOVED that evening watching Belle and Lib. We hugged and said good bye. I was so hoping that she would make it next year to Open House. Her passing so suddenly has really touched me. What I would give to be with all of you right now!
As you hold me close in memory, even though we are apart, My spirit will live on, there within your heart. I am with yoy always, when you lean on trusted friends and their caring hugs enfold you, within their loving arms I'll be there to hold you....I am with you always.
Yes, is was special, Paula. It is still just so hard to believe she is gone. BUT, she did love that evening. I have a picture just of her, looking up at the nest. Need to search for it.
I got a phone call from my sub--such a nice lady and a wonderful teacher.
I read over the condolences for Deb earlier this evening. Members of our group have had so many good and thoughtful things to say. It was really moving to read the messages there.
Well, I went to dinner at Jon's which was wonderful and then to a meeting in Princeton. At 7:30, I went outside and had my moment of silence to join with everyone. It was really spiritual. What a connection we have!
Hi All, sorry I couldn't be on the blog itself at 7:30 but I was here in spirit. Your words, poems, pictures, etc. have all been amazing as I have been catching up on them. I wish I had had more time to know her myself. Have a good evening everyone and I will see you in the morrow!
I was just reading back. Wow, to picture Deb holding Koo gives me an awesome feeling. What a beautiful thought! We are so blessed to be able to share this time together even though we are miles apart. I feel such a spiritual connection with you all and love you so much!
Lolly, you are with us (((HUGS))) !!! I've been looking thru Debs Blogspot and she had slideshow from last year's Open House and w/her first pic of Belle in the tree, she said,I saw Paula looking up and there in the tree was her first look at Belle. I noticed that the slideshows from '08 work, but single pics have the dreaded red X & you can't see them! There was a set w/her pic in '08 ospreys that I couldn't see. WWAAAAA
I want to thank everyone for their comments about Deb on the blog and other places. Memories and friendships with Deb was "real" and lasting. Chrissy did a wonderful poem which I also read.
Jo I loved your eagles.
Ceil "Koo" was a great comment.
All of you had something to contribute and I'm thankful.
I hope Steve gets the message and does leave Deb's picture there. I also wish he would put something when he opens a new thread.
I think of Steve saying "No Child Left Inside" well that was what Deb taught and shared.
It was so awesome seeing Jon's pictures from Italy. Seeing his pics from the Roman Coliseum after just watching that Il Divo video from there was also pretty awesome.
Sharon, did his pictures show any of the reconstruction work? Have read that the deterioration is really bad and restorative efforts are underway. Can't remember whether it was in Geographic or Smithsonian mag.
Yes, Jo, the nest night light is brigher tonight and I believe it is and will continue to be Deb shining down on Belle and Lib, their eaglets, and all her momster and dadster family.
I must turn my light out. The night light is on for others.
Loretta - thanks for mentioning those albums! I went and looked at them too...reminded me that Deb and I walked out to the Potomac, so she could see where Lib was catching all the fish. Also, one of the pics is really dark, but if you click on it, all you can see is the reflection of Lib and Belle's eyes from the flash...we were laughing, my pics turned out the same way!
It was so special to have so many of us together during our Moment of Silence. Deb was so well loved by so many people...you can't ask for anymore than that out of life!
I am going to say my goodnights now, too. It's been an emotional evening. Hope you all have a peaceful night. Praying that Gods' sweet love will surround us all.
Been looking thru pics, don't know if Wanda mentioned it but she put her pic of deb and osprey in a new album on Momsters, pg. 2 of albums. I just went thru all my '08open house pics and have a couple of Paula & Deb. Will put in there after getting them cleaned up. She's also in the beginning group pic in Open House album. To all those hitting the hay, Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>]
Thank you all for the wonderful thoughts, prayers, and poems for Deb. I was here for our moment of silence, then had to go have a bit of a cry. :o{ Isn't it something how we all are so connected, though so far apart in miles? Really felt close to you all tonight. I love you all dearly!
Soon after the moment of silence, Hubby's sis came over for a while on her way home from work. We had a nice family time. Then our son-in-law called, and we talked for quite a while. It was really special. Got to talk to GGD Sierra, too--just before she went to bed. GD Courtney wasn't home from Cheerleading practice yet, so we missed her; had talked to our daughter who called this morning. Courtney's dad promised to pass along a big hug & kiss. It's been a real family night, hasn't it? You guys are all part of my family, too, you know. As far as I'm concerned, distance is irrelevant. Love each and every one of you! Dare I say it again? Think I will. I came for the Eagles, but I stayed for the friendships I have made. (Truer words were never spoken!) Prayers being said for all of us tonight, and for Deb's family. Oh--it just came to me--I bet there was a really happy reunion in Heaven when Deb's dog Sam came running to meet her, along with all of her family members that preceded her! Think I'll hold that thought. Good night, all, sweet dreams! Talk to you tomorrow. :o] P.S.~~the porch light's on, and the eye scanner's enabled...
I wish we had our live feed. They are so busy working on that nest. I am grateful for the still cam but there is just nothing like live. Wonder why we are having such a hard time with ours and others don't seem to? Anyone know?
BTW, I just wanted to tell you how wonderful it was sharing that experience with you guys across the miles like that. We could not have been closer bound if we had been in the same room!!! I love you all!!
Well Dex and I are of to coffee and dog treats. Then to run sdome errands. Hope you are all heding into a good day. Be sure to do something kind for nature in your travels.

Good morning, Paula,

Hi Jim!
Thanks Steve and thanks for the callover Megan.
Little hummer's beak keeps popping up in the nest. It's so tiny. Both eagles still in Sidney nest.
Helen, TY. Will send him a note.
Gotta take lunch & pills
BTW, I keep getting generics, too & I write what their orig. name was or what they're for on the bottle!!
Eagles at Sidney poofed.
Yep, maybe they'll be back. They were bringing in sticks for a while now.
thanks Megan and Lynn...was busy watching the eagles at Sidney...got all wrapped up in the action
Wow talk about speed-reading, now I have to do a little Speed Napping.
Good time to repeat this:
Thanks to all our Veterans, gone before and still with us.
I hope someone can repeat the list again, don't think I can...but I have read them all and want to hug each one....so here: (( Hug ))
Would love to check all the wildlife but that's going to have to wait. Sleep time, preceded by what I want to think about at 7:30 pm EST - for Deb....
Happy Birthday to Mits's Daughter in Law Annie ☺ ♥
Prayers of strength and comfort to all Deb's family and friends as they prepare for the Memorial Celebration of Life this evening.

xo ☺ ♥
Norma I like the way your first message and my last message met this morning....♥

Hey, Lynne, Will did say the fixes won't work if you have a laptop. Call the radio station. If it's necessary, mention the FCC.
I really like Jack Hanna. Susan has said that she wants to be the next Jack Hanna. I think that's just a dream wish for her.
"Perma-hold." Love that expression. Have to go do errands. Deposit alimony check, get cat meds, etc.
BBL.
Gee, Lynne, sounds like what we listened to at the Maine nest last year!!!
I saw the baby hummer for a split second!!!!
I can't remember what site it was--it may have been Maine---even tho' I closed the site, the sound remained on my puter until I rebooted..........I'm sure you've tried that, right?
Wow, sure is noisy at Sidney----guess it's wind making something brush the microphone!
Eagle at BWO again..on that left side
there is sawing going on at Maine now...its a hand saw, lot of bird noises too
Shirley, tell Suzi to go for it! Jack is getting old! But he sure has done well financially with all that he has done! Owns like 4 homes/farms/ranches, his favorites being I think Kentucky and someplace in Africa.
LOL, I was thinking of Maine, too.
yes Lynn, tried that. Called Verizon, say not their problem, called Geek Squad, had me do some things, says it is Fios problem. Filed complaint with FCC. Gotta go, my pinky and ring finger have been getting numb and worsening....too much time on computer!
you know, it still could be that I am crazy.....blubber blubber dribble dribble...hahaha!
well trust me FIOS will never admit it is their problem...been there done that
Dr. Oz show today (3PM here on Ch.9) is doing an ovarian cancer piece.
Gotta go--Fubby installing a seat in car!
I am home Bong Bong Bong Bing Bing Bing
MRI's aren't so bad - I even was playing in my mind of Houston: This is Mission Control: All Systems Go!
Won't know of any results for about 48 hours... If no call I'll call Dr and speak to him personally on Friday. Not going to let happen to me what happened to Shirley!
Yes - Loretta - I also plan at 7:30 our time to read the poem and reflect on Deb & her family.
Me, too, Jo and Loretta. A very fitting tribute, indeed.
I just emailed Chrissy & mentioned that she will be silent 'cuz that is 12:30 AM her time! Told what I was going to do. She seems overwhelmed that we love her poem so much & since she did write it originally for Koo, I think it's very appropriate~~~they are probably visiting each other!
I am headed to put my feet up
Slept pretty well throughout the night but sure did dream weird dreams this early morning........

well, I am off to the Cardiologist....I have to pay $30 for him to tell me that the reason my blood flow isn't showing a good uptake in a certain area because my breast tissue is too dense to get a good look. 2 eagles at BWO...the one on the left has been there for hours...
Hello
Thank you to all the veterans out there.
Howdy Tbird. Is it still raining down yonder?
BWO eagles gone...
Maybe ours will appear shortly...
My heart still just weighs a hundred pounds!!
Hi, Thelma.
Lynne, are you serious---is that what they are saying the problem was???? Well, I sure hope it's that simple an answer!!
7:30 our time, Shar.
It's me Lynn, Sissy, not Sharon, but I will forgive you this time!! :)))))
I have printed out the picture and Chrissy's/ Koo/Deb poem as well and am taking it to work with me.
Will read it, as Loretta is going to do
Sissy - 7:30 pm our time, 6:30 Central time.....
I printed the picture and poem off the File on the Momsters Page entitled Deb's Memorial which Paula set up for us ♥
I also decided while tossing and turning, that I endeavor to GET OUT and experience more Wildlife !
To be able to identify Birds as Deb could, is a Dream.....
Magpie,
I know what you mean. I wish I was half as good at identifying birds as Sharon and Beverly. Forget going out in nature, how about just around the bird feeders at my house.
Yes, Thelma, that is a great place to start...how are you fixed up for bird books???
I know you have field glasses !
I wish I was off tonight would rather spend my moments with you friends than be in the midst of som 80,000 + people locally with telephones....my co-workers are nice people, but you know what I mean, about tonight...
our population is not really that high, but the people that can call and reach 9-1-1 and get us on a daily basis is about that high
Oops---meant Sissy!! Duh...
but I will dedicate my skills to Deb's memory tonight.
I know, Margy. Wish you were going to be here with us, too. :(
Also these prayers/verses I take with me:
Prayer of St Francis of Assisi (Lord, Make Me an Instrument of your Peace...)
the 23rd Psalm,
and
From the Gospel of Saint Matthew, Chapter 12, Verses 28 through 30
(Matthew, 12:28 - 30)
"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light."
Time to make ready.
Love to all, we shall hold each other close tonight, Yes ?
God Bless Us, Every One \xo ♥
Bless you as you leave for work and thank you for ministering to each of us.
I have my picture and poem printed off. Thank you so much Paula for putting them together for us to find and save easily.

Poem by Chrissy Beahan, Eaglet Momster
Don't cry for me, my Family,
For now, I’m but a Whisper on the wind,
I'm free to soar and glide so happily,
For now, I'm but a whisper on the wind,
My Freedom is blessed, I'm sure you now see,
For now, I'm but a whisper on the wind,
Look to the skies, JUST call for me,
For now, I'm but a whisper on the wind,
I'll say to you all, my dearest family,
For now, I'm but a whisper on the wind,
My Spirit soars, please, don't be sad for me,
For now, I'm but a whisper on the wind,
Remember me, from time to time my family,
For now, I AM, THAT WHISPER ON THE WIND !!!
If my brain works which may or may not happen I will post it again about 5 minutes before our quiet time.(((((all)))))
I am making Pizza Casserole for dinner---good comfort food.
I see I did not miss a visit!
Ready for 7:30.
Thank you so much, Glo!
OK Margie is clocking in about now!
Sure hope the rain and wet leaves on the road doesn't cause too many accidents and infuries.
White blob at BWO
Heading home...
Gotta tell ya'---weather is crazy. It has barely rained a drop here since 9am---but 6 miles SE, Bill says it has been raining steadily all day. Go figure!
Apparently my puter problem is with AOL....put Yahoo in browser bar and having no problem navigating through it.
I must be so tired I have brain damage. Seems I made an almost identical post twice!!! DUH
Fubby will not go to Applebee's, so guess I have to go cook!
I just thought up something else I want to do. I'm going to put up Deb's Blogspot before 7:30 and then read poem. ☺ ♥
Hi, Everyone,
I'm back here now also--had a nice lunch with Hubby and Sis-in-law. Thanks, Glo, for posting Chrissy's poem! I'll be observing the moment of silence, too.
Glo, you are on Central time, right??
Sounds like a nice idea, Loretta. Feed her critters while there! Remember how she helped me figure out how to post a widget/gadget on mine!!
Yes I am Central time
Loretta - Where did you find Deb's last comment?
Forgot to tell you. I was in my van, running errands in town, listening to the radio and thinking of Deb. A song came on the radio, do not know what it was, but it had the phrase "fly like and eagle." I was amazed!
It was Tueday, around 9 pm.
Last comment was on Tuesday at nine-something in the evening, as I recall, Jo.
Thanks I'll go look for it now.
Tuesday 9:55. I just fed her hamster.
Have been looking through Debs' photos....she was so good, and enjoyed her treks to find the next shot so much.....
Right and it was to Margy. Just seems surreal, the whole thing.
Yes MeMa Jo I remember. The Warriros Walk is something else that is very hard to put into words. I went there twice. Once for the big picture, and once to try to share the indivdual parts to the story each tree tells. I was very very moved as I walked slowly and took a closer look at many of those trees.
Have to post a Power Pt. on Blackboard for my class. A little more and I will be caught up, but much more to do.
I found her...... I really can get those turtles moving around! lol
Here's an easy link to Debs' blog---save it to your favorites.
Debs' Blog
Deb was the best at seeing and sharing some of the greatest and yet free things life has to offer. I hope she has aleft some of that behind for all of us.

Interesting tidbit of information!
I will post Chrissy's poem again in about 3 mins although my guess is most of s here already have it printed with the picture Paula fixed together for us, but in case you need it as we go into our time of silence and celebration.
Glo - Loretta put that together...I just posted it on Momsters
I don't have what Paula fixed. How did I miss that?
Talk to you all a little later...
(((((hugs to all)))))
OK well then thanks to .Both of you. It is very very special indeed.
It's almost that time. I can see Dianne and Pam, preparing the group for prayer. They look so much like Deb. The Palmer sisters are like three peas in a pod. And as Jo and Helen can verify, Dianne sounds just like Deb.
We love you Deb ♥
It's on the Momster page, Sissy. Under links, Deb memorial document.
love you Deb
Deb is now touching the FACE OF GOD:) LOVE YOU, DEB!
Lord I lift up those who celebrate the life of Deb Palmer both near and far. We thank you for her life, her skills and her memories left behind. I pray that in time those memories continue to bring comfort and peace to all those who knew her, and are dealing with our loss and yet accepting heavens gain. Amen
I love you all!!
(((((HUGS)))) TO ALL OF YOU!
Thank you, Glo...Amen.
Rest in Peace, dear Deb. Amen.
You are at peace Deb.I have a picture in my mind of her holding Koo and smiling.
(((♥)))
Very nice, Glo.
I love all of you, too.
Deb,
I'll never forget you, my friend. You will greatly missed, and always remembered. Finding comfort in knowing that someday we'll meet again, only in person.
Love always!
The eyasse has flown
That's a wonderful thought, Ceil. I'm going to keep that one forever ♥
That is a beautiful thought, Ceil.
A group hug is nice. I wonder if it could "wing its way to heaven". I surely hope she knows what is happening in her owner tonight.
(((((((hugs love and "mantles from Lib and Belle" too)))))) I just know they would if they could. :-)
TO OUR DEB
You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord,
Who abide in His shadow for life,
Say to the Lord, "My Refuge,
My Rock in Whom I trust."
And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
The snare of the fowler will never capture you,
And famine will bring you no fear;
Under His Wings your refuge,
His faithfulness your shield.
And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
You need not fear the terror of the night,
Nor the arrow that flies by day,
Though thousands fall about you,
Near you it shall not come.
And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
For to His angels He's given a command,
To guard you in all of your ways,
Upon their hands they will bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
After I read the poem, I looked at her Nest Pictures, a video of Hidey and a parent in July, & fed the hamster.
Glo and Ceil, you both have said the most profound words that mean so much for our Dear Deb~~~We love you.
I love the idea of nameing eaglets Deb and Palmer. Maybe "Dakota" if there is a 3rd one?
Those are beautiful words from that hymn. Always cry when I sing it. Love you all. Good night.
Mema Jo, thank you!
Love you all. Good Night AOYP
I can find peace when I picture Him holding her in the palm of His hand. Sometimes we need to be cradled in love and I can think of no better place to find supreme love peace and rest.
Wow Ceil! What a wonderful image in my mind's eye!! That is perfect and that is how I will think of her!
Very nice, Glo.
I love all of you, too.
Sissy, I totally agree. Would be heavenly to get a pic of both of them together. Need a Photoshop genious. We've got tons of Koo pics, need Deb face on.
Oh, Jo, that was so beautiful, too.
Many lovely images to ponder and remember. Good night to those leaving. Prayers for spiritual healing for all.
Group (((hug)))!
Beautifully said, friends.
Just as we all loved Deb, may God give her Love and Peace forever.

(((Hugging you right back, Mema Jo.)))
As you hold me close in memory,
even though we are apart,
My spirit will live on, there within your heart.
I am with yoy always,
when you lean on trusted friends
and their caring hugs enfold you,
within their loving arms
I'll be there to hold you....I am with you always.
That was a such a special evening, wasn't it Lolly. I have been thinking about that whole weekend.
Oh, Lynn, I like that too.
Thanks, Jo, for posting on Eagles Wings.
Yes, is was special, Paula. It is still just so hard to believe she is gone. BUT, she did love that evening. I have a picture just of her, looking up at the nest. Need to search for it.
Going to give myself a pedicure and a manicure. Maybe that will make me feel better.
Hi all,
I got a phone call from my sub--such a nice lady and a wonderful teacher.
WWAAAAA
Be back````more coffee
Good night, Deb. In our hearts, the night light will always be on for you.
Love and Hugs to all
It was so awesome seeing Jon's pictures from Italy. Seeing his pics from the Roman Coliseum after just watching that Il Divo video from there was also pretty awesome.
Lynn That was beautiful.
Judie - Maybe it will be Deb turning on the nest Night Light with Lib & Belle just like you'll be leaving it on for her here.
The night light on the nest seems a
bit brighter tonight, don't you think?
Sharon, did his pictures show any of the reconstruction work? Have read that the deterioration is really bad and restorative efforts are underway. Can't remember whether it was in Geographic or Smithsonian mag.
Yes, Jo, the nest night light is brigher tonight and I believe it is and will continue to be Deb shining down on Belle and Lib, their eaglets, and all her momster and dadster family.
I must turn my light out. The night light is on for others.
Night Judie!
Good Night All
Prayers for everyone
((((hugs)))) ♥ ♥
Hope Granny is resting well!
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SLEEP WELL
PRAYERS FOR ALL
I am going to say my goodnights now, too. It's been an emotional evening. Hope you all have a peaceful night. Praying that Gods' sweet love will surround us all.
I remember that, Paula!
Paula, I saw the 2 black pics, but didn't blow them up! Will check.I figured it's when the sun went down as she said in her album B & L flew away.
Hi, Everyone,
Thank you all for the wonderful thoughts, prayers, and poems for Deb.
P.S.~~the porch light's on, and the eye scanner's enabled...
Searched and finally found Deb's slide show of the 08 Open House. Had never seen it. Loved the comments with the pictures.
I am feeling a little better. I do not think I have cried so much in so long. The tears have just been flowing.
I am going to call it a night. Have pretty (ha!) toes and fingernails.
Nite all! God bless!
I hope this was a night of healing for everyone, I know it helped me. Thanks everyone for your posts tonight.
Gnite, all.
Hugs to all ♥

Hi, Gang,
Thought I'd check back here. I just finished writing my Anatomy Project. Need to make a big poster tomorrow, and I'll be done.
Lolly, you and I are definitely on the same page. Keeping kleenex handy...Want you to know you've inspired me to paint my nails tomorrow!
Paula, tonight really helped me, too. Thanks again to everyone.
Jim, Amen to that, for sure!
I'm worn out--gotta hit the sack.
Good night, all. Love you guys!

I just got a glimpse of our eagles and then they both disappeared...but, they did come back.
Oh, no! Gone again!
I wish we had our live feed. They are so busy working on that nest. I am grateful for the still cam but there is just nothing like live. Wonder why we are having such a hard time with ours and others don't seem to? Anyone know?

I wish we had the live feed again, too. Sure do miss it.
BTW, I just wanted to tell you how wonderful it was sharing that experience with you guys across the miles like that. We could not have been closer bound if we had been in the same room!!! I love you all!!
BTW, Loretta thought I posted the photo of DEB with her Osprey, but it wasn't I...SISSY DID IT.
Thank you, Ms. WV Blonde:)
If Steve would pop on here and tell us the LIVE FEED is on it's way, I think all our spirits would be lifted up, like wind beneath our wings!
Well Dex and I are of to coffee and dog treats. Then to run sdome errands. Hope you are all heding into a good day. Be sure to do something kind for nature in your travels.
