Hey all! Haven't been by in a while. Hope everyone had a good and safe Thanksgiving. I stopped by Conowingo Dam for a few minutes on Friday on the way to Reading PA for a family gathering. Amazing gathering of eagles there. Only had time for a couple of photos and the light was terrible but I'll definitely be going back:
Lynn, sorry again about your ER friend who passed away...You knew him from working with him, I knew him from bringing in patients by ambulance to him, he was always so gracious and respectful. A loss, a great man. Prayers are on.
Daughter and her friend came and carried in my Christmas tree from garage, and held dog while I trimmed toenails. So accomplished something today!! LOL!
Can't open Shirley's photostory on netbook....,will have to check it when I get on PC.
Also got bed changed and put on flannel sheets and my new Christmas quilt! Temp has dropped 5 degrees in 30 mins! Sun is gone.....rain predicted for tomorrow. Too bad todays' weather couldn't hold year round!! No heat, no AC!! Perfect in my book!
Wow, I would love to go to Conowingo, but it is over 6 hours form here, so I doubt that happens. But, Lord, what a site! I would be a mess~!!! I will just live vicariously through the pics for now!
I'm up, no phone calls, will meet the traveling Momsters and Dadsters at Roc's at 6:45 - we have a lot of Momster and Dadster hugs to deliver... AND WILL DO SO !!
I won't know my January schedule for a few weeks....then I will see what's developing by then for a Road Trip - We might need TWO Eagle Expresses for this trip!
I am heading out the door to get myself over to Roc's Shell Station by 6:45! Hey Judie - I am going right past SHEET I'll check out the gas prices! lol
I know all of you in spirit will be with us as we go to support Dana and pay our last respects to Ed. Hugs for all.
Paula, Bob, Karen and Keith...Steve and I just looked at all of the pictures....WOW, you guys did GOOD! Makes my poor little pictures look sort of pathetic!
Hi everyone. Checking in for the day with some good news - at least to me. I washed one of my hot pads and went to hang it on the line and with the help of my left arm I was able to reach it with my right! I's a milestone for me and no one's home so I wanted to share with my friends.
The pictures from Conowingo are awesome - all the photogs are to be congratulated! Someday I hope to make it down there to see for myself. Another place I would like to visit is Hawk Mountain PA. Until then, I'll continue to watch out my kitchen window at the locals - Cardinals, Titmice, Chickadees, Wrens, Blue Jays, etc.
Lynne2 get out that towel for tonight, we're going to need them! Ben's on a injury list and Troy won't be playing either. Yikes!! I hope the Steelers win this one for Ed!! and Dana.
Good news Diann! And yep, we're gonna need the Towel for sure....could be a messy game! Steve and I want to take a trip to Hawk Mountain!
I think Dana really wanted to go with Ed to Conowingo...she and I had emailed so I could give her pictures of the area and info. I sure hope she'll still go. My thoughts sure are with her tonight.
I should clarify that PA deer RIFLE season begins tomorrow. I'm from a family of hunters but Jim gave it up a few years ago when he sold his share of the deer camp. I know he and our boys really miss it. I don't and I've lost my taste for venison, rabbit, pheasant, etc.
I remember all the guys in the family went and we (my mother, sister and me) were left behind to handle whatever emergency arose - and they did!! One of us would be without heat, out in the weather and run out of gas (this was before cell phones) and it snowed so bad we were homebound - with sick kids!!!
Signed on to say my heart is sure with Dana tonight. That is the heavy side of today and a few days really, The beautiful photo links were such a pleasant surprise. I could look at eagle pictures all day long. What an awesome bird. I am gla dyou have found a dam iwthin driving distance for so many. Gonna be lots more wonderful photos to share I am sure. I enjoyed Thanksgiving with family. Went to a big craft show yeaterday and came home to be called in to work for the afternoon which was fine. Today one of those headaches argh. Slept some this afternoon and feeling osme better tonight. Will be back to read what those who are with Dana have to share with those of us who can only be there in spirit.
Well Dex and I did do that this afternoon. He isn't too happy with me tonight as we did not go for a stroll. I was too cold to go strolling today. I think he does know when I am not feeling the best though. We haven't missed too many days strolling at all. I will try to take him tomorrow.
hope you're feeling better Glo! I'm going to go get ready to watch the Steelers/Ravens game. Should be, uh, interesting with Troy and Ben both out tonight. GO STEELERS!
Gadzooks, has Pittsburgh game started? Wish they could dedicate it to Ed. Well, we can! Now, I know why he was a big Pitt fan~~~~born in Johnstown! Very close to my Mom's family home which was Republic, just outside of Uniontown.Hope there are lots of hugs and prayers with Dana. Hubby got back from Memorial for brother. (I was a little under the weather, so had to stay home :>( ) It was sponsored by the Chas. Co. Hospice Assoc. & was for those who left us in the past year. Names were read & each was flashed onto the wall. They had special bird decos w/each persons name for the tree. My SIL is going to send pics! I'm so disappointed I missed it.
we did dedicate the game to Ed, Loretta, in fact Margy was going to wear black and yellow to the memorial this evening! Hope you are feeling better too.
Hi. We delivered some heavy duty hugs to Dana tonight, for all of you. Wanda, Gene, Lynn, Jo, and I. And we met Nilla! Dana is okay, almost couldn't go tonight, but realized, Ed is in a good place, and love was waiting for her at the funeral home. Ed looked spiffy with his Steelers shirt on, a few special things in the casket, including a bag of Candy, and a Louis L'Amour paperback.
We met Dana's mother, Kitty, and Dana's sister, Kitty, made it easy to remember names ☺ there were many family and friends there, some pictures displayed, including the great one which Wanda has on her blog, of Ed and Dana together ♥ ♥ The prayer/announcement card is beautiful, with a touching verse inside. Hedgie mentioned she might try to scan that at some time. Dana appreciates all the love, caring, concern, prayers, and hugs from us all, and seems to be at peace, knowing that Ed suffers no more, and is giving out candy in Heaven !
Jo was headed home by way of Shepherdstown and might stop at Aaron's but she absolutely promised to get on the blog when she gets home.
The funeral home staff stated that since this was a holiday week-end, the regular staff that sets up the condolence website, should be able to take care of that Monday. We hope so. They were very compassionate and caring, which I know was a great comfort to Dana and the family.
I know Lynn and The Captain's First Mate will add more to this, and I am headed for a short nap before work tonight.
Hope that all ailments, headaches and under the weather things, improve Pronto! Loretta, sounds like a beautiful tribute for Perry. Love and Hugs to you and Frank both.
Safely home here, too! Dana is holding up very well. As Margy says, we met the Kitty's, and Margy and I finally met Nilla! And she and dana are heading for Conowingo on Tues! More lucky ones!
Glad to hear from some who have been with Dana. Also need to know Mema jO gets home OK. Gosh it just feels like we ar having a otugh spell on here but it does kind of let us know that there is a group here who does care about those they have come to know through Lib and Belle. What a link to an eagle cam can do for a life. Continued higs and prayers for Dana as she makes her way through these next few days and weeks. I am glad she has a special trip to look forward to on Tuesday. We all know that will help her spirit to "soar".
Diann, sounds like you are making great progress!! That's a good milestone! Sure your therapist will be impressed. Glo and Loretta, please feel better fast!
We are home...stopped at Roc's and got subs for our supper. Had to eat before I checked in. Yes, Dana is holding up very well. She met with and chatted with each and every one of the visitors. Jo, Lynn, Margy and I talked with her for a long while. She is so very strong. She will come throught this hard time just like a MOMSTER should! We told her that we would all be here for her whenever she needed us.
Jo just called and she is home, after stopping at Aaron's in Shepherdstown and giving him a cookie;) We are present and accounted for.
Jo said she would be on when she gets home to let us know she made it safely, too. May be a while yet tho' if she got to see Aaron---30 yrs. old + 1 day!!!
I am delighted to hear that DANA is going to CONOWINGO with NILLA--- She will so enjoy it!!---I am rooting for the STEELERS this evening for ED!--- SCORE--7--7
I am home now. I did stop and visit a few with Aaron. Gave him a cookie from Wanda... The Christmas outdoor lights are starting to appear and the Christmas music was on the radio. I just kept an alert eye out for any straying deer towards my car.
Dana appreciates all of your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you to those who were able to be physically with Dana tonight to offer love and comfort from all the momsters and dadsters.
It is good that everyone seems to be home and accounted for which means I can turn my light out and leave the night light on for others. Andy, please set the security system when you come in.
Loretta & Glo Hope your good health returns. Diann I am happy to hear of your reaching ability! Won't be long and you won't even need to think about it!
Oh yeah, I spoke with a friend of mine for about an hour tonight, she had lost her youngest sister! We grew up being best buds and then time marched on! Sucks but hopefully we have reconnected now. Her name is Caroline. Please pray for her and her family. There were 7 kids and now they are down to 3.
Hi, Everyone! I'm so glad to hear that you all made it home OK tonight! Hubby and I were busy, busy, busy today, so I'm just now getting here. We took care of the bulldogs again, and as usual, Katy is not eating much since her mommy is gone. She will eat dog bones (from Costco) though, so we're feeding her those. Charlie (a 'she') will eat anything--she'd eat herself into a coma! Didn't try any pecan pie on Katy. Not sure whether that would be good for her. SIL & BIL will be home tomorrow, although I need to go feed the 'girls' in the AM. Oops--kitchen timer is beeping. Having a late dinner. Have been thinking SO much about Dana today. Really glad so many of you were able to be there with her tonight. Hope you gave her a hug for me! Thanks, you guys. Well, gotta go eat dinner. My new Christmas night light is on, the porch light's on, and the eye scanner has been enabled. Might be back after dinner, but might just go to bed early, too. Early day tomorrow! Oh--got a look at Bob Quinn's pictures. They're amazing!!!! Prayers for all being said. Good night! :o]
Sharon, so sorry for your friend. Guess you are ready to settle in to Bedford life for awhile until Christmas, huh? Mattie and Justin are back home and eager to get back to school, I'm sure----NOT! My grands think they should be off til Jan.!
Watched a tear-jerker movie.....but it turned out right!! And gotta share.....while it's not something I approve of, but....Bills' autistic grandson (15) got a 6-pt. yesterday and is on top of the world! Brandon dropped him, so Bill didn't even have to track him. He is one elated kid! Andy, guess you go back to school tomorrow, too.....enjoy your new classes. Good night to all. Peace and prayers. Hope Mits and Ceil are okay.......may have to start blonde alerts tomorrow!
Well, this Wednesday night is my TRAIN CONCERT!! YAY YAY!!!! December 12 I am going to Bluefield for their Christmas parade. Mattie will be in it for the middle school band and Justin will be in it for JROTC. Then December 19 I have to be in Bluefield for one of Andrew's friend's wedding. Andrew and Kelsey are both in the wedding and then right after I am going to a Christmas dinner, so I will be heading back to WV a lot! :)
Good evening! Well, the Thanksgiving holiday is over. Boy,have we been busy since last Wed., when Laurel arrived. We returned the boys to her this evening. Jacob said, "I am ready to go back to my regular family." We all got a big laugh out of that.
Beautiful pictures at the Conowingo. Wonder why they gather there? Must be LOTS of fish!
Thanks for the report on Dana. Sounds like she is going to be okay. It will be hard with all the life adjustments, especially this Christmas. Keeping her in my prayers.
I am exhausted. Heading to the shower and then bed. Tomorrow back to the exercising. Have to clean house and decorate for Christmas. Busy, busy busy!
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---MORNIN' BEAUTIFUL DANA!---Will keep you & your family in my thoughts this day & every day!--Hope you and NILLA see many--many EAGLES tomorrow!---Love ya!!
LOWREEDA!----LYNN2 & I were rooting for ED'S STEELERS last night!!---never thought I could root for a PA team! ho! --but I did!!---was sure we were going to win---but what do I know!
It's a real Currier and Ives occasion: The tree arrives on a horse-drawn carriage, and first lady Michelle Obama will be on hand to greet it. This year's tree is an 18-1/2-foot Douglas fir from Shepherdstown, W.Va.
Andrew just called to tell me that the President's tree came from S-town. He said, wait a minute, I know someone who goes there! :)
MORNIN' SHARON!---Yep!---That was on TV News---The couple went to the White House to present the tree to Mrs O!---seems this is about the 3rd or 4th time one of their trees has been used!--GREAT NEWS!!---isn't it??----are you folks going to WHEELING next week?-----That will be a fun time!!
Good morning, Norma! Fortunately, I do not have to take a test tonight. I am preparing students to take the SAT. I can understand why someone might be confused about what I am doing these days. Sometimes I am not sure what I am doing, either!
I finished all of the requirements for the photography class yesterday. (That is the class I was taking.) I saw a check mark beside Nov. 29th in the grade book section of the program, so I do hope that means I have satisfied the instructor. Nice lady. She is the one who told me about Conowingo.
My students are quietly reading now. Very peaceful moment. They are working on Of Mice and Men.
No dogs or cats eating pecan pie at my house last night, but we did have a bit of drama. A glass of red wine got spilled on my new sofa. Fortunately, I had a kit of cleaners that came with the furniture, and Susan came to the rescue, crawling around on the floor and cleaning both the sofa and the carpet.
MORNIN' SHIRLEY!--I guess--'white wine' goes best with the new sofa! ho!---Sounds as if you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loving family!!----Great talking with you!----I think we may have cooler weather here today--w/snow???
GOOD MORNING... Norma, thanks for that alert about the $50 bills. I will be on the look-out. Most of my customers pay for their Santa Suits with $50 bills. I guess I need to know what to look for?!
Hope Dana slept well last night. I would think that the hard part is over for her. Still keep her in our prayers; it's going to be hard to be without her lifetime partner.
Wanda, for me the hardest part was after everything was over and everybody was gone. Hard to get back into the day to day stuff for sure. Prayers are definitely with Dana.
Good Morning everyone! Beautiful sunrise this morning but cloudy now with rain AGAIN on the way. Another one of those "make my own sunshine" days!
Wow, tough game last night...after half time I kept falling asleep but woke up for the last time as they went into OT and I should have stayed asleep! Steelers did pretty well considering the key missing players last night. Don't think the Ravens can beat them next time!
Shirley, the fist spill on the new furniture (or first mud on new carpet or first ding in new car) is ALWAYS the worst! I hope the stains came out OK.
I think that is so cool that the White House tree came from Shepherdstown!!! Just think, it could be a tree that our very own Liberty and Belle may have pooped on! (speaking of which, I am sorry to see the bright blue screen still on this morning)
Well, the one character in my class who whizzes through all assignments has finished reading the whole book. Very bright boy, but he rushes too much and then he stirs things up. A bit on the hyper side.
I sent him on an errand and then told him to go to the library and find another book to read. That works pretty well and gives his classmates (and his teacher) a break. He seems to like to read and is usually happy to go get a book. Keeping him reading can only be a good thing. He tells me I make him write too much! He does not like that part.
On close inspection, I can see water marks on the area of the new sofa where the wine was spilled, but they are hidden among the floral designs, and it is in a section not easily seen.
I wonder if a little clean water might get rid of that, but it isn't too bad anyway. I am supposed to be able to call and have someone clean it for me--paid for all kinds of things when I bought it. The problem is always finding a time when someone is at home to let people come in for things like that.
Good morning, eagle dudettes and dudes! Wanda, the counterfeit bills are $100's....they are taking 5's and bleaching them and making them look like 100's! Cops say to examine magnetic strip carefully to make sure it matches 100's!
Sharon, your month definitely will be busy!! And I am so sorry---I never knew you lost a husband. :(
Shirley, hope the wine claened up okay----was George the culprit??
Sharon, you are right, the hardest part is getting use to being alone. My Mom still cries at times about not having my Dad in her life and it has been 8 years.
I guess I should have clarified. I did lose an ex-husband who I was in the process of getting back together with. I was talking about Mommy and Daddy, living with them, them being an every minute, every day part of my life, then they were gone. Hard to deal with life then after everyone has left. Understand what I mean?
Sharon, I think you are right on with what you said...when I was a very young girl of 22, I was engaged to and living with my fiance. He was killed. I was in sort of a daze, or holding pattern of sorts, busy with arrangement, visitors, decisions, and viewings. It wasn't until a couple of days after the funeral that it all sunk in and it was awful. Today, I am very prayerful for Dana. My heart is still breaking for her loss.
Thanks for that info, Lynn. I do get some hundreds, also. Get a lot of those during Halloween. It just occured to me...I didn't get any BAD CHECKS this year! What a pain in the butt it is to track those people down!
MORNIN' WANDA---BLUEFIELD SHARON is right----The hard part for our beautiful DANA hasn't started yet!-----That's why it is wonderful that NILLA is taking her to see the EAGLES!----prayers & more prayers!!
I must clarify too...I meant the hard part with the arrangements of the viewing, flowers, clothing, etc. I felt like I was in a daze choosing all of those things when my Dad died. I felt a great relief when that part was all done.
Norma, Nilla was there last night...didn't recognize her at first. She now has longer hair. She plans to help Dana get through the rough days ahead, being there for her and taking her to Conowino and whatever else she can do. Her family is planing on helping her through the Christmas holidays as best they can...taking her to dinner, etc. I invited her to go to Conowingo again when we all go in January.
Sharon, I wasn't aware that you lost your LOVE...how tragic for you! You and Sissy have had so many tragic things to happen in your lives. Bless you both!
Today begins my last week of classes then a week off and then final exams. Am grading online assignments today and through the week.
Shirley, hope the wine stain/cleanup stain can be completely removed. Have the pros come out. Hope it wasn't the new girlfriend who done the nasty deed.
MORNIN' PAULA!----Now that is what I do most evenings---wake up on couch w/out dinner & it's 10:00 pm!!--YOU ARE NOT OLD ENOUGH TO START THAT!!---JUST STOP IT!!!!! ho!
To clear it all up--it was not the girlfriend, nor was it George who spilled the wine. Hunter knocked the glass over, but, no Hunter was not drinking wine.
Funny thing about those wine glasses. They look and feel very fragile, but even though they have been knocked over numerous times, they have not broken. Not that it would be too awful. They are Target's finest. I think they look really nice, and I don't have to worry about enjoying them.
Kathryn called last night to report that she discovered Hunter had a fever when they got home last night. Not a high fever, though. Don't know if she had to keep him home today or not.
That's too true Lynne, and Norma, people DO treat you differently. I guess that's just human nature. I know it's hard to be "normal" towards someone who has suffered a loss.
NORMA, I do beg your pardon...you DIDN'T mention the denomination of any bills! I guess I was thinking $50 bills, because I just sold a Santa suit, Friday and was given 2 $50 bills...had that on my mind. I DO HAVE BLONDE ROOTS:)

Skins are gonna fool around and lose this game too!
Capt. Gene said a trip to Conowingo in January will be fine with him:) What is a good day for everyone?
I guess we have to try to work around Margy and Paula's schedule. I think Megan will be done her work for a while.
2 eagles at BWO :):)
You don't need to work around me...I have been there twice. If I can make it, I'll go, if not, I'll wish everyone happy eagle viewing!
And it will be a 2 hour ride from Frederick...
Losing another one.....
9 straight road losses....argh!!!
Wanda, think maybe a Sat. so that Suz, Shirley and Judie will be available, too!
Wow, I would love to go to Conowingo, but it is over 6 hours form here, so I doubt that happens. But, Lord, what a site! I would be a mess~!!! I will just live vicariously through the pics for now!
Pretty pair still at BWO
Thank you for the new thread, Steve. Hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving with your family.
Shirley, loved the "silent movie" love story. Congratulations!
Paula, terrific pictures. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Jim and Bob.

Paula, Bob, Karen and Keith...Steve and I just looked at all of the pictures....WOW, you guys did GOOD!
Makes my poor little pictures look sort of pathetic!
ROAD TRIP! Maybe Dana will come too.
Hi everyone. Checking in for the day with some good news - at least to me. I washed one of my hot pads and went to hang it on the line and with the help of my left arm I was able to reach it with my right! I's a milestone for me and no one's home so I wanted to share with my friends.

Lynne2 get out that towel for tonight, we're going to need them! Ben's on a injury list and Troy won't be playing either. Yikes!!
I hope the Steelers win this one for Ed!! and Dana.
... later
...Lynne - your pictures were part of the Ignition Process....getting us all fired up ☺
If Dana would go, that would be, fantastic...
I dropped my camera today...on concrete...hope it isn't too messed up...
Heading out soon, see you precious pals later.
xo
Great News, Diann ♥
Good news Diann! And yep, we're gonna need the Towel for sure....could be a messy game!
Steve and I want to take a trip to Hawk Mountain!
I think Dana really wanted to go with Ed to Conowingo...she and I had emailed so I could give her pictures of the area and info. I sure hope she'll still go. My thoughts sure are with her tonight.
Margy I hope you're camera is OK.
Safe trip to the memorial everyone!
There was just a large doe at PA Pix. Tomorrow begins PA deer season. Hope they miss this one, she's a beauty.
Ah yes, the good old days; my foot!
;-)
Prayers for Dana that she will have strength with much to spare.
Congratulations, Diann. Sounds like full recovery is in the near future.
Gloria, hope the headache is better. The best cure is to cuddle with Dex.
(I was a little under the weather, so had to stay home :>( )
It was sponsored by the Chas. Co. Hospice Assoc. & was for those who left us in the past year. Names were read & each was flashed onto the wall. They had special bird decos w/each persons name for the tree. My SIL is going to send pics! I'm so disappointed I missed it.
Diann, so great about your arm!!!And I'm happy to say there were no hunters in my immediate family.
Glo, hope you feel better.
Think I'll go sip some soup....
we did dedicate the game to Ed, Loretta, in fact Margy was going to wear black and yellow to the memorial this evening!
Hope you are feeling better too.
Diann - good news, indeed!
Hope you feel better, Loretta.
And you too, Glo.
I have more to add.
We met Dana's mother, Kitty, and Dana's sister, Kitty, made it easy to remember names ☺
there were many family and friends there, some pictures displayed, including the great one which Wanda has on her blog, of Ed and Dana together ♥ ♥
The prayer/announcement card is beautiful, with a touching verse inside.
Love and Hugs to you and Frank both.
xo ♥
Welcome home to all travelers, will be good when all are at home in their Roosts.
Thanks for being there with us and for Dana, in spirit, everyone, we could feel the Momster and Dadster l♥ve.
Good Night, for now...xo
Just sitting down to relax after our family dinner. I am ready to relax for awhile. We had a nice visit. Rebecca came down again. She is very nice.
LYNN2---WHOA!--the STEELERS are TOUGH!!!
Jo just called and she is home, after stopping at Aaron's in Shepherdstown and giving him a cookie;)
We are present and accounted for.
OK everyone has checked in with someone. Think I will let Dex out and call it a day a little early. Goo dnight all.
Diann, happy to hear that your shoulder is better. It is no fun having body parts that don't cooperate.
Kathryn left some pecan pie here. Maybe I should put it where George can't get into it!
So glad you got to see Dana. I am sure she appreciated it greatly.
I have to go think about what I am going to wear to work tomorrow. I got up early to work on my assignments, and now I am very tired. Need sleep!
Good night.
Jo said she would be on when she gets home to let us know she made it safely, too. May be a while yet tho' if she got to see Aaron---30 yrs. old + 1 day!!!
I am delighted to hear that DANA is going to CONOWINGO with NILLA---
She will so enjoy it!!---I am rooting for the STEELERS this evening for ED!--- SCORE--7--7
Ok, so she called Wanda! Good....all in their roosts!
And there's our Jo!!!! Glad the deets stayed out of your path, Mema!
HALF TIME---STEELERS 7----RAVENS 14
Thank you to those who were able to be physically with Dana tonight to offer love and comfort from all the momsters and dadsters.
It is good that everyone seems to be home and accounted for which means I can turn my light out and leave the night light on for others. Andy, please set the security system when you come in.
Good night, everyone.
Judie
Good night, Judie!! Peaceful slumber.
Loretta & Glo Hope your good health returns.
Diann I am happy to hear of your reaching ability! Won't be long and you won't even need to think about it!
Wanda I hope your subs were good!
I grabbed the last piece of pumpkin pie and then some cheese and crackers.
Guess that will hold me until morning!
Good evening and good night everyone. Had a marvelous weekend with Mattie and Justin. Going to bed now! Love you all!
I tried to call Dana a couple of times but I am sure she has been busy. Will try again tomorrow.
Good night! :o]
I'm going to call it a day.... Not sure how this game is going to end.
Good Night All
Prayers for All
((hugs)) ♥ ♥ ♥
Okay, the peeps are in the roosts.
A comforting feeling ♥
Sharon, sorry about your friend's youngest sister, yes of course, prayers; Caroline, a beautiful name.
I'm headed for a six hour shift, followed by two twelves Monday and Tuesday into Wednesday morning.
Hope we get our Still Cam fixed so we can get an Eagle fix Monday.
Wanda and Gene thanks for setting up the rendezvous at Roc's.
Sleep well...I'll be awake and thinking about you
God Bless Us, Every One
Last I looked, Steelers and Ravens were tied w/1 min. to go! Now, OT!!!
I feel at peace now, seeing Dana tonight. She, of course, is saddend by Ed's death, but is comforted knowing that he is not suffering anymore.
GOOD NIGHT DEAR FRIENDS
SLEEP WELL
PRAYERS FOR ALL
LYNN2---Guess I didn't yell enough for for ED'S STEELERS?---We did our best---guess it just wasn't to be---
Good evening!
Nite all! Sweet dreams!
Ravens won!
Goodnight All!
Pig again at ESPN. Scared the deet away.
Well, I'm ready for bed; the game is over, and it's tomorrow.
Sweet dreams for everyone and blessings for all in need or want.
Until tomorrow .....
Good NighT, EveryonE.
Jim
A quick good morning, then to work. I have my last SAT class tonight. Kids have their test on Saturday. I hope they do well.
It's the Morning, but it's bedtime :(
Hope everyone has a good day, enjoy this last day of November.
xo
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---MORNIN' BEAUTIFUL DANA!---Will keep you & your family in my thoughts this day & every day!--Hope you and NILLA see many--many EAGLES tomorrow!---Love ya!!
CONGRATS!! SHIRLEY---You are our #1 EAGLE MOM---today & everyday!---I am sure you will ACE your test tonight!!
WHOA MARGY!---I don't know if I should wish you GOOD MORNIN' or GOOD NIGHT!---ho!---What would we do with out you---STAY COOL!!
LOWREEDA!----LYNN2 & I were rooting for ED'S STEELERS last night!!---never thought I could root for a PA team! ho! --but I did!!---was sure we were going to win---but what do I know!
BWO----'TWO' BEAUTIFUL EAGLES---
pixPA!---7---maybe 8 LARGE TURKEYS eating among the SQUIRRELS!---COOL site!!
Did you all know this?
The cuddly black & white 'CLOUD' is snoozing this am----I repeat--that's whate he does best!!
MORNIN' SHIRLEY!--I guess--'white wine' goes best with the new sofa!
ho!---Sounds as if you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loving family!!----Great talking with you!----I think we may have cooler weather here today--w/snow???
MARTINSBURG RESIDENTS!!---(NPR)----folks in your area are using counterfeit bills---BE CAREFUL!!---Seems they are hard to detect!!!
Hadn't thought of that. Our eagles might have pooped on the White House tree.
LYNNE, you are a hoot! But, could be right;)
Sharon, you are right, the hardest part is getting use to being alone.
BLUEFIELD SHARON!---I'll keep your friend in my prayers!--GOD BLESS!
I must clarify too...I meant the hard part with the arrangements of the viewing, flowers, clothing, etc.
I felt like I was in a daze choosing all of those things when my Dad died. I felt a great relief when that part was all done.
Right Wanda, I too understand all of that too! Ya know, living life really puts you through it sometimes, don't it?
Norma, Nilla was there last night...didn't recognize her at first. She now has longer hair. She plans to help Dana get through the rough days ahead, being there for her and taking her to Conowino and whatever else she can do.
Her family is planing on helping her through the Christmas holidays as best they can...taking her to dinner, etc.
I invited her to go to Conowingo again when we all go in January.
Sharon, I wasn't aware that you lost your LOVE...how tragic for you! You and Sissy have had so many tragic things to happen in your lives. Bless you both!
Good morning, everyone.
Today begins my last week of classes then a week off and then final exams. Am grading online assignments today and through the week.
Shirley, hope the wine stain/cleanup stain can be completely removed. Have the pros come out. Hope it wasn't the new girlfriend who done the nasty deed.
Have a nice morning all.
No blonde alert needed for Ceil. She is okay!
WANDA---CORRECTION---I didn't say $50 bills!---I said COUNTERFEIT BILLS!
Morning, all.
See the cam has the Monday morning blues!
Sorry I never got back on last night, think I'm getting a cold. Fell asleep early on the sofa.
Thank you to all of you who were able to attend Ed's viewing last night, for giving Dana our love and prayers and hugs.
One eagle at BWO.
I think a bunch of cams are supposed to come online soon...Caltrans on the 2nd...and hopefully BWE this week too.
I don't know about you others---who have lost a spouse---One thing I remember most---folks treat you differently----same thing if one is divorced----
MORNIN' PAULA!----Now that is what I do most evenings---wake up on couch w/out dinner & it's 10:00 pm!!--YOU ARE NOT OLD ENOUGH TO START THAT!!---JUST STOP IT!!!!!
SHIRLEY---SHIRLEY!----I just remembered----to take spots out of carpet--or furniture, etc---USE CLUB SODA!!----
That's too true Lynne, and Norma, people DO treat you differently. I guess that's just human nature. I know it's hard to be "normal" towards someone who has suffered a loss.
New Tread is up!
No GRANNYBLT!---I never heard it said thay way---but SO TRUE!!
Come on over....Steve says "working on the problem" (with the screen I assume)
I forgot to mention---the VIKINGS (DEB'S TEAM)---just don't lose!!--BRETT FAVRE is an AWESOME player!
