Good night all. Jim and Andy and Margy will probably have the new thread all to themselves for the night! Assuming the nightlight is on for them! Prayers for all!
Lynn, that sign you found for Wanda was just perfect for her! Bet you were thrilled when you found it!
The Bacon Pasta tonight was delish and we have it again tomorrow night. Oh, I love it when we have GOOD leftovers! Had a great wine with the meal and just finished some ice cream. Yes, I know it does not sound like it, but I am keeping my weight down!
Ya know, when your used to eating at a Chinese restaurant, TV Chinese dinner doesn't do it. I'm sure there are some good ones available, just don't know which ones. I'm going to have LIVER for sure tomorrow, if I have to butcher a cow to get it!:) Thanks, again, Lynn for my WANDA THE WITCH sign. I do LOVE it!
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS SWEET DREAMS PRAYERS FOR ALL
Whoa, new thread at four minutes past a titmouse (you need an Audubon Bird Clock for that one) - I have some serious back-reading to do. One bird at Alcoa, Finland is dazzling, bright and sunny.
Avatar pic is from noontime NCTC Eagle visit Saturday.
Okay, caught up. In Morgan County a buck came charging across the road, galloping really probably at 40 mph - luckily car ahead of us was going pretty slow and saw it, never seen a deer running that fast before. Also on the way up saw two cows doing some HP. Was NOT expecting that, this was in Berkeley County. Enjoyed all the photos and links. Time for sleep now, it is a Titmouse past a Downy woodpecker.
Hi, Gang, I'm here pretty late, but fell asleep watching a TV program we recorded on the DVR. Woke up and cleaned kitchen and started dishwasher. Have found a GOOD place to shop for clothes! Went to the Goodwill store! Found a REALLY nice pair of stretch denim jeans (stretch = super comfy!) that look absolutely brand new, and fit perfectly! Price was half off: $3.50!!! Hubby got a really nice, cozy velour, long-sleeved, v-neck pullover shirt for $5.99. Would've been at least $50 at a dept. store! Looks like it's never been worn! This store apparently gets lots of donations from Villa Park, which is a VERY nice neighborhood. Hey, I don't care if it's "slightly used"--they clean everything first before it hits the rack. Wow, what a deal! Now need to clean out my closet and take some clothes to them and donate. Figure if I can find even one new piece of clothing for that kind of price every time I go there, it's worth the trip! Never know what you'll find! BTW, while we were there, our daughter called us to tell us we MUST go see the movie, "The Fourth Kind". It's more or less a documentary that's based on truth, with archived film clips to back up the story. Takes place in Nome, Alaska in 2000. She said it's just fascinating! Trailer makes it look like just another scary movie, but it's a true story that'll really get you to thinking. May wait till next week to see this one; have 2 other movies we want to see, too. So many movies, so little time! Been listening to XM radio on TV--Christmas carols! Think we'll put up the Christmas tree next weekend. (Gosh, it's getting really close!) Whoa, I have some SERIOUS catching up to do on the blog! Did see your squirrel video, Shirley--it's really cute! AWWWWWWWWWWWW! Oh, my! It's getting so late here it's actually become early!! Better get some shut eye before Hubby hits the floor running. Prayers for all; will talk to you later this morning once I've had some sleep and some coffee. Brrrrrr! It's cold tonight! Sleep tight. G'night! :o]
Did anyone see the latest update from Steve on the cam page?
Fall Update #1 - November 18, 2009
Activity in the Nest is starting to pick up, and we are noticing the eagle pair hanging out in the nesting tree more often than a month ago. You'll notice that the nest is starting to look more tidy again as our pair begins to fix things up for the winter nesting.
Look for our new live feed, which will be established in the near future. More on that soon.
Hey, Andy, talk about cold...it was 31° when I woke up this morning!
Also, first thing I saw on TV was how to reduce fat and calories in your Thanksgiving dinner! No Thanks! I'll take the traditional apple pie, mashed taters and squash, and all their calories...it's only one day!
I am going to John and Ajay's for TGiving dinner, bringing my Mom's 7 day rolls and the green bean casserole.
Well, this is just great news from Steve. Thanks for sending it along, Paula.
I hope no one was injured wandering in the dark -- went to basketball game (94-53 Colonials), home, fixed dinner, fell asleep, so didn't leave the night light on. My bad!
yeah, Maggie got bored..he took her to club room, had a beer....Molly got bored, took her to the club room, had a beer,,and we said STOP..what about Ben...Ben slept thru the whole game...good thing he does not have any more kids....
I did my bell ringing duties yesterday afternoon and am please to report that about 90% of the grocery store's customers made a contribution. Came home and made meatloaf--too much salt, and banana bread--too much lemon peel. So I guess I'm not the decent cook I thought I was.
The only eagle sighting this morning was a quick visit at the Maine cam.
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!--2nd try)---WHOA! ANDY--I just googled 'THE FOURTH KIND'--WOW!--think it might scare old folks & small children!---ho!--Bet everyone will love it!!---PUT ON THOSE LEAN JEANS & GO SEE IT!!! CONGRATS! PAULA & MITS on your school's WIN!---WVU has 1 more football game!---PITT--Our arch rival for years!!--
Good morning everyone. Hope your day is a good one. Sunshine and nice weather here. Off tochurch and then Sunset Marina. actually saw my first local eagle on Fri. They will be trickling in and i will be heaidng out. YES!!!
My thanks to those giving input on Glo's Glimpses. It is so helpful to me. I will let you know which 3 actually get the most votes as I get to submit 3. I just let youall choose 4. TYVM again.
MORNIN' JUDIE!---I have had at least 2 calls this am--changing arrival time for G-D to visit!--just caught your blog!--CONGRATS!--your team won!!----TODAY the REDSKINS play DALLAS!----that should be fun!--LOLLY & I for 'BIG D' & most of the others for REDSKINS!!!
Morning. Jim and I will be helping at the Church's Bazaar. Beautiful day here. Jo Hallmark had a cute little show on last night from 10 to 12. Henry Winkler
Yes Norma I am celebrating for sure. Its seems so different when they leave. And so beautiful as you start to see them come back. I really think you woul dhave no problem at all getting into Glo's Glimpses. Its no different than the other folks on here with their photos on their blogs.
Could not get on Anything yesterday on Park 'puter!! (not even Park & Rec, site!!)aarrgghh & konked out in lounge chair about 8 PM. I will be having to shovel the house, cook some pies for T Day, etc., so if I'm not on here much next week, don't send out an alert!!! I'm here, somewhere ☺ We're going to stepson's for dinner and Friday, F's oldest son & wife will be visiting---they're going to her aunt's up here.
MORNIN' LOWREEDA!---The older I get the more complicated holiday dinners seem to get!!!----Mine has changed 3 times since yesterday!!!---Happy Turkey Day!
MORNIN' JO!---I went to a 'BLUE GRASS CONCERT' last night!!---a fund raiser for the FROSTBURG, MD PBS!--It was GOOD!--the auditorium was packed!! My first--
Funny thing, when I went to buy the kit for the colonscopy, the girl at the pharmacy counter said, "It's $54.38 beyond what the insruance company will pay. Is that okay?"
I said "I guess it will have to be okay." I wonder if it would have been less at Walmart. Wondered if she thought I would just decide to call off the whole thing!
I paid it with the card that takes money from my health savings account, but it does seem like an awful lot for what I got. Don't know what the full price is.
Well, Norma, I don't have in mind that kind of liquid food. I know that is not on the list. I would be in fine shape for the procedure tomorrow with some of that on an empty stomach.
Good morning Eagle dudettes and dudes! Chilly one here, too---sun in and out. Norma-----just click on Glo's name and then choose her Glimpses blog and you can see and comment on the same photos we got via email!
BIG game day! Go SKINS! Think they are picked to win :) We shall see....
Saw a fluff news piece this AM about the Mount! Beautiful campus! It was about Father Joe, who has a cooking show!
Good Morning/Afternoon, Ev!eryone! Paula, you're right--the movie trailer for 'Fourth Kind' DOES look mighty scary! All I can say is, our daughter made me promise NEVER to go to Nome, AK under ANY circumstances! Think we're going to go see the new Sandra Bullock movie instead. Hubby's out in the living room watching 'Aliens' as we speak; that's why I'm here! No thanks! There are some movies that I just can't call 'entertainment'. Who enjoys having the kapok scared out of you?!!! Judie, see you went to the game last night! Glad you got some real fun in; you've had WAY too much work lately, with no play! Shirley, hope the liquid diet works out all right. Will be thinking of you! OOPS--Hubby says we have to leave now to get to the movie in time. Have a great afternoon, and will report back later. MTBR.... :o]

Oh My - 2 eagles in our nest!
Is Belle eating?
May have been picking at Something in the nest...
Hmmm, think it's Lib close to the cam and Belle behind him, preening.
Still hanging out! :)
ANYONE ELSE WATCHING???

I just hung up the phone - called Germany - gd Christine's b-day!
Nope that's Belle up close and Lib behind her
She's the mouthy one :)
Nope, I'm home today. Supposed to be cleaning right now!
From the way they are switching their heads left to right I guess something is buzzing the nest.
Belle looking left, and right and left...
Sun shining nice and bright!
I need to check some previous nest pics - I thought the 9 to 12 part of the nest was built up higher then I see right now.
Just got knocked off the blog as I was admiring our EAGLES!!---AWESOME SIGHT ON THIS CLOUDY AM!!
Hi Norma! Glad you came back!
They may have moved them around, Jo.
TV still at BWO....must have found something in the nest...
Lib poofed...looks like Belle is on her way out, too.
Yup, she's a goner.
