Dr is setting up an MRI for me. Just to make sure I have a brain! It is mainly being done in order to rule out anything. It is this Wed and I will get some information within a day or two after that. Prayers Please.
I'm sitting here in shock, for a couple of reasons. I just read back on the blog far enough to read about Deb! (Lynn, thanks for the 'heads up' e-mail alert. I didn't realize you were worried about me, too.) I am just blown completely away to hear about Deb's sudden passing! I'm really sorry I never got to meet her in person. She was such a sweet person, and such a nature lover! I will truly miss her. Prayers being said for her family and friends--which of course, includes all of us here! The other reason I'm in shock is I just got a VERY interesting phone call from Hubby. His Dr. had made an appt. for him to get his pacemaker checked out, since he's had it for 6 years, and hasn't been in for a check in a while. Turns out, when they hooked him up to check the thing, the screen turned caution yellow, and it said, 'EOL'. It's still working, but very slowly, and the EOL means "end of battery life"! They checked the serial no., and the battery was scheduled to wear out in August of 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o[ (See why I'm a bit numb? They're checking him into the Kaiser Permanente Hospital right next to the Dr's office, and he'll spend the night. They'll replace the battery tomorrow--outpatient surgery, usually.) I'm waiting to hear back from him. I need to get a toothbrush and some clean clothes for him to wear home over there, and of COURSE I want to visit with him! Since he drove himself to the Dr., our car is there. Waiting to hear from his sister to see if she can come and pick me up and take me there, so I can drive the car home tonight. Don't want to leave it sitting there. Wow, our lives can throw us a curve ball in an instant, can't they?! Oops--just heard from SIL, and she's at work up in L.A. today. I'll just have to take the other car, and leave one of them there overnight. Please say some prayers for Hubby, and I'll check back in whenever it is that I get home later tonight. Don't worry about me--I'm OK. I've been through MUCH crazier things than this with Hubby and his pacemaker. Will explain about some of that later, though. Gotta get the lead out and get over there--they've found a bed at the hospital for him! Will BBL, however late that is, I promise! All of you take care! I love each and every one of you!
Andrea I am so glad you got on the blog Yes, We were concerned for you and YES prayers for hubby! Blessing he was at the Dr for that cough and was checked out! Take care and don't worry about 2 cars at the same place. It will work out! ((hugs))
Jo, you KNOW prayers are going up for you. So glad your doctor is acting on this and taking care of you.
You are right, a beautiful balloon in a bright blue sky is the cover. The last page says "We had so much fun with you Jacob. Maybe someday you can take a ride in a beautiful balloon."
And thank you for not looking at me. lol Jack is suffering! No, not really but got a little short this afternoon. Trying to do better.
Andy, prayers for your hubby. I think the doctor slipped up on that! Your hubby should be feeling better with a new battery. I remember when my mother got her new battery. She did just fine.

Just finished concocting "Tilghman Island Elegant Crab Casserole"!! I would add something for a little more flavor.Saw it in a fishing magazine at Park and it was written by '58 my high school graduate!!!
Thank goodness, Andrea! Glad you came on. So sorry about Hubby's situation---aren't the drs. supposed to keep track of that????????? Unbelievable! Have already talked to Jo via email about her MRI, so she knows that I am adding extra prayers for her. Guess I better go back to Alco and check it out again! Lolly, dinner sounds yummy....mine didn't sit too well....thinking about throwing some bisquits in the oven and then slathering them with butter and jelly.
Jo Thank you so much for forwarding the email from Amanda. It is very eloquent. Wouldn't it be great to take a Road Trip To South Dakota next summer? xo Good Evening, All. Adding my prayers for Jo, Andrea's husband, Granny Riffe and all the Riffes and relatives, and each and every one of us.
I got email, too, from Amanda, Deb's niece about the dinner plans and more. Think she isn't even in SD yet, but flying tomorrow & they will send out more info later.
I started to email her today with a pic from Mt McKinley...it had snowed and there were some tracks from snowmobiles.....we were always watching for them everyday during the winter...she was the one who caught a picture of them...but caught my self right before I hit the button...the mind plays games with you sometimes
Well going to sign off for tonight. I feel drained and need to try to relax and hopefully get some good sleep tonight. prayers going up for so many different needs out there.
I do like the idea of summer plans for a celebration for Deb. They, like us are also in shock and over time they will know so much better what they really want to say and do and where they will do it. And it gives any and everyone who might want to travel a chance to make some plans. AOYP
And worry, you should, cause I was. Ash tree was about 30 ft tall. We counted the rings, there were 63. It was mostly dead so it will be good firewood. Half of it is alreasdy on MIL's porch.
I haven't finished going thru emails, but I sure express gratitude for all the great things/ideas many of you are organizing regarding Deb. The poem with the picture by Deb, great thought, Loretta...a tapestry of artwork from some of the Masters
Well, I guess technically it's all of ours, as we live on the same land:) But she has a woodstove and we don't. Hubby keeps her supplied with wood all winter.
Many moons age, my brother and Dad decided to cut down a tree one Sunday...Super Bowl Sunday...One of the branches took out a power line...no one got hurt...but the neighborhood was out of electric for hours...they were lucky the power crew got it on back in time for the Super Bowl!
Luckily there were no power lines nearby, only trees all around us, and I must say I was impressed when he dropped it exactly where he wanted it to go. And it was so loud when it hit the ground, and then it got quiet and a red bellied woodpecker gave us a very loud scolding.
I emailed Steve about Deb, and he sends his condolences to the group. He also said he's been out of the office lately...that's why we haven't been getting new threads every day. They screened 'When Eagles Dream' Saturday afternoon, and prior to showing the film they brought up the cam feed and both eagles were in the nest. He hopes to have the live cam working soon with a new provider!
...speaking of timing, this would be great going into the Holiday and HP season...
Tree cutting is SO dangerous. Saw my FIL just miss cutting his arm off once, and my ex got knocked to the ground by a limb that flew through the air when the tree hit the ground, and he cut his nose on the chain---luckily he didn't have his finger on the trigger at the time. Had an uncle who got killed when a tree fell on him when he cut it. TERRIBLE.
Hello eagle Momsters and Dadsters. I received the shocking news about Deb a couple of hours ago, and I've been reading the blogs since then. Many of you don't know me, but I was an original Momster, back in "Spunky" year. I don't have the time to spend here as much as I would like, except in eaglet season, and I'm not as close as most of you, but I want you all to know how proud I am to be a part of this loving community. God Bless you all!
Oh Sunny some of us new ones like me weren't posting when you were back in the day, but I was watching for a long time before I joined up and became one Grateful Momster...and I have seen you once in awhile on here over the last year, and it is nice to see you again....I know you travel the waters of the Potomac...and once a Momster, Always a Momster in so many ways, as it changes our lives in many positive ways ☺
Night-night Sharon. I was going to watch House, too, but Fubby had something else on. But did see part of interesting Tibet mummy show on Science channel. He was over 500 yrs. Thx Paula & Margy for finding a place for Chrissy's poem w/Deb's eagles. I printed it out and if they tell us when the Service is, I'll read it after our time of silence. Think I'll check a little TV, so for all hitting the hay, Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
P.S. Margy, you don't have to search Deb's blog for cormorant pics. I can do that. That you know she saw some is all I wondered about ☺
EVENING EAGLE BUDDIES!---It has been such a long day---really miss not having email now---Sending LOVE & HEALING to all in need--PAULA--would you have time to send me copies of the train pics taken with DEB to me---Will gladly pay the expenses---Prayers for all my EAGLE friends & for DEB'S family & friends---SD has a new shining star--aren't we lucky that DEB decided to BLOG with our EAGLE BUDDIES---Reminds me of that KENNEDY book title---'DEB--WE HARDLY KNEW YE'---LOTS OF LOVE & HUGS--------
SUNNY--Couldn't forget you---I remember you were a friend of DEB'S before she joined us--Didn't you folks go to school together---What I remember most about you--You used to go KAYAKING most every weekend---Was thinking of you yesterday--keep in touch--
I'm getting itchy feet to make a road trip to Romney - been wondering how Davin's recovery and healing are going, when you have time.
Here is a link to a Waterfowl festival in Easton Md this week-end. Not sure whether it would be of interest to anyone near there or not...been watching some things in our local rag about it.
It's late. I think most of had little sleep, or fitful sleep, hope tonight's rest is restorative and full of serenity dreams.
Love to you all, and God Bless Us, Every One See you in the morning Eagle Light. Prayers, and hugs, and special prayers of gratitude for all that Deb has brought to our lives xo ☺ ♥
Stopping in to say good night to everyone. I didn't get home until almost 10:00. I saw so many deer on the side of the road this evening--they are everywhere out there. I spotted 3-4 dead ones on the way to work this morning and one this evening. Be careful.
Prayers for all who need them. God bless and good night.
Norma, I didn't know Deb personally, but I was born and raised in South Dakota, so we chatted about that. She lived in the college town that was the big rival to my college!
Oh, Shirley, this is rutting season, so they are everywhere!!! On the move constantly. Just don't understand why they can't be smart enough to stay away from roads!! It makes me sick whenever I see a dead one. Be careful!
I hope I'm not too late, but want to say HI to Sunny and Norma, who is up pretty late! ☺ Gonna get off now & check out some sites & try to lessen the email count---968 now!!! Most have been read-need to put them in old mail or delete-yuck. Good night and Love to all ☺ ♥
Haven't been able to concentrate on TV, either, but have spent some time working on the tribute. It is shaping up, slowly but surely. I'm going to get my bath. And think I'll go ahead and shut down puter now. It's sure been getting a work out these past two days. It's probably as tired as I am. Good night, one and all. Prayers for all. Nice to know that Debs' rest is peaceful, serene and eternal.
Just read the email from Deb's niece. It was well written and very appropriate planning. Deb would approve. Sure wish we could all go...to both. I think it would be good for us all.
Time to start getting ready for bed. Nite all! God bless!

Well, guess what! I just got home with Hubby and his new pacemaker about 30 minutes ago! His surgeon was really, really nice, and talked to me for about 20 minutes after the surgery was done. The reason they did it tonight was that they had never seen a Guidant pacemaker be that low on "juice" and still be running! It was pacing at 40 bpm or less. Hubby had no idea--he was feeling OK! Dr. said it could have just stopped working at any moment, though, so good thing Hubby came in for a check when he did! His new pacer is made by St. Jude (that's the name of the company), and their main headquarters are in Sweden. They're also in Sunnyvale, CA and Sylmar, CA. It's supposed to be state-of-the-art. They didn't have to replace the two leads; they were in perfect condition! Well, I'm plumb worn out, so think I will go hit the sack. I'll tell you more in the morning. Thanks for all your prayers!!! They are truly appreciated! Gosh, I love you guys! Prayers being said for all of you, and hope we all can manage to get some restorative sleep tonight. The night light's on, the porch light's automatic, and the eye scanner is officially enabled. G'night, all. Those getting here later than me, please don't slam the door. Thanks! :o]
JO---Have they set a date for your MRI?---Keeping you in my prayers-- I'll never forget--you are the 1st EAGLE MOMSTER that I met---I remember telling you that I was NORMA'S mother---because I thought I looked so old--ho!---I not only looked old---I was old!----(not anymore--EAGLES make one feel YOUNG) heck! we are all just kids!
HEY! MEGAN--I met you at the same time--will never forget you had a flower in your hair!---i guessed you right away--FLOWER GIRL!! ho! Must get dressed---W/CTR today!
Good morning all. Prayers for Granny Riffe and a list of needs that we all share for folks we love on here.
Dex and i are back from coffee and dog treats. I actually slept til my alarm went off this morning which almost never happens. I was up late but did sleep well.
Need to get to the grocery store ASAP. Dex would agree with that idea too :-).
I just want to say that I am 7 hours from Sioux Falls. My home is small but big enough for friends taveling through. Just tuck that thought away in case you could use it. Depending on the numbers you might need a pillow and a sleeping bag oh thats right I do work; well volunteer now for a shelter just maybe LOL. (((((all)))) Make it a good day. Do something nice for nature in your travels.
Well Magpie we would all have each other to share some of what has happened with and to celebrate a beautiful life with too. Could stop on the way and on the way back actually. That would only mean 1 night lodging in Siouz Falls for everyone. Its a thought and an offer. I too am so considering the trip but way to early to make a commitment of what will be going on at that time. Lie throws us twists; didn't we all learn that lesson again very recently.
Yes, Glo, as the Bluefield Gals say, Life can turn on a Dime...
Sure enjoy seeing Dex on your Avatar....
Will do my best to do something nice for nature today....will have the grandson again this evening, think that will count if I don't get any other opportunities. I want to take him to the cemetery where my father is buried and place a flag, and then visit another cemetery or two...he has Veterans Day off....very important holiday...want to share some of that with him.
back to the checkbook. I made an addition and subtraction error on an account I seldom use....turned out I was 2 cents short when a check came in on it.....which means a 20-dollar penalty, but at least they cashed the "bad check "
Tuesday November 10, 2009 Barega and Warrun have flown the coop! This image was taken last night just minutes before one of the boys took his first flight. This morning, both the boys were gone leaving Froona home alone. She doesn't look very happy about it either !
1775: Founding of the Marine CorpsA legacy is bornDuring the American Revolution, many important political discussions took place in the inns and taverns of Philadelphia, including the founding of the Marine Corps.
A committee of the Continental Congress met at Tun Tavern to draft a resolution calling for two battalions of Marines able to fight for independence at sea and on shore.
The resolution was approved on November 10, 1775, officially forming the Continental Marines.
As the first order of business, Samuel Nicholas became Commandant of the newly formed Marines. Tun Tavern’s owner and popular patriot, Robert Mullan, became his first captain and recruiter. They began gathering support and were ready for action by early 1776.
Each year, the Marine Corps marks November 10th with a celebration of the brave spirit which compelled these men and thousands since to defend our country as United States Marines. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARINES.....HOORAH!
God Bless our Veterans and Happy Birthday USMC Semper Fi! my late hubby was a Marine. Got married in his dress blues. He was very proud to serve in the United States Marine Corps.
Ft Stewart in Hinesville GA is located at the endo fthe block where my son lives in GA. I went to a very special place there twice actually called Warriors Walk I found myself in tears as I left the last time. I have been working hard on a special Veterans day tribute to what I experienced there and will post it to Glo's Glimpses later today in honor of those veterans in particular but in humble gratitude to all veterans who serve and have served our country. All gave some. Some gave all

Wild Deer Lands in Lion Habitat at the National Zoo A wild white-tailed deer jumped into a lion exhibit at the Smithsonian's National Zoo Sunday afternoon, Nov. 8. There were two adult female lions in the habitat, one of which caught, trapped and injured the young adult doe. Zoo staff successfully transitioned the lions to their interior spaces.
The team tranquilized the deer, moved her off-exhibit for a medical examination and found that she had multiple life-threatening wounds. Zoo experts determined that the doe would not survive so they made the humane decision to euthanize her quickly. A full necropsy will be performed today.
The entire incident lasted approximately 45 minutes and was partially viewed by numerous Zoo visitors. The Zoo police cleared the area as quickly as possible for the safety of the public, Zoo staff and animals. The exhibit was reopened to the public at 3:30 p.m.
Morning All! Daughter is here with me as today is Tuesday! Info on donations in memory of Deb sounds so appropriate to me. Hope everyone is moving well today..
Good morning and Happy B'day USMC! Wow Mits, that's some story about the deer in the lion den. I guess they couldn't let the lion eat the deer because they are on very specific diets at the zoo? Poor deer, but wow those lions must have thought they died and went to hunting heaven!
I am having no luck getting onto FB to post the memorial contribution info. Keep getting a gneric white page and can't navigate to any other page....very weird. Will keep trying.

Andy, prayers for your hubby. I think the doctor slipped up on that! Your hubby should be feeling better with a new battery. I remember when my mother got her new battery. She did just fine.
Jack thinks he wants supper so I am going to head to the kitchen. BBL
Wow, Andrea, glad they did the checkup on your husband. Will be keeping him in my thoughts.
You too, Jo- sure the MRI will go fine.
It's too early for the Alcoa chicks to have fledged!
I didn't realize the execution was so soon. I hope it happens.
There is one chick in the very back right, you can a glint of eye. The others must be laying in the box.
Oh my, what a day we've had.
Jo, good the dr wants an MRI.
Super diagnostic tool but I don't like the noise and being confined in a tube.
Andy, prayers for hubby. Hope he gets an ENERGIZER!
Comfort food: had to cook baked chicken tonight -- way NOT my favorite. Would rather have had bacon pasta -- my new version of mashed potatoes.
Going to wind down. Later
evenin' all...
Andrea, that's terrible about your husband's pacemaker...well rather it's GOOD that you found out in time. We had just been talking here this morning some about various Dr issues. You really have to advocate for yourself and your loved ones.
BTW...within a half hour of a second well worded message left for my husband's Dr at the VA, he called Steve at work.
Jo, good luck with your MRI....did the Dr give you any indication of what could have caused your episode?
Lolly, I think you should have just stayed here until Jack was SURE he wanted supper! LOL!
Unless that's the baby that's left. Still seems early
Had my comfort food tonight...pierogies.
Hard to keep my mind on task at work today...didn't get much accomplished.
Execution is scheduled for tomorrow night at 9pm. Given the effect on N.VA. Kaine would not DARE sign a stay.
Looking into the Alcoa nest box
It sure is looking MT....
They just named the chicks...
Only the two looked like their pin feathers were coming in....
THERE IS A CHICK SNATCHER SOMEWHERE
OUT THERE......
Andy - glad hubby got checked out...sounds like he will do just fine...check in with us when you can!
Jo - Glad you are getting everything checked out!
The Alcoa site said last week that the chicks would probably be flying this week, so that may be the case!
Jo, there is one hiding in the right back corner...
I sent an email to Alcoa in Australia
Wonder if I'll get an answer?
I just asked Where are the 3 Chicks?
They haven't named the chicks yet...they were waiting to see whether viewers thought they were male or female.
Paula that little sucker blends right in with the box!
There is an email being sent from
Amanda, Deb's niece. Will pass it on shortly.
Paula - they did announce their names.
Oh Wow, Jo, they must have just posted it....wasn't there when I logged on a little while ago...thanks!
Yea, Jo, never thought a box would be good camouflage, lol
Email Paula
Got it and replied, Jo, Thanks!
Andrea, I know you probably left, but my best wishes for Hubby's Battery procedure. How crazy they accidentally found out about it!
And Jo, prayers for your MRI---we know you're super!
Just finished concocting "Tilghman Island Elegant Crab Casserole"!! I would add something for a little more flavor.Saw it in a fishing magazine at Park and it was written by '58 my high school graduate!!!
Jo, you can see Froona better now...
Thank goodness, Andrea! Glad you came on. So sorry about Hubby's situation---aren't the drs. supposed to keep track of that????????? Unbelievable! TG it was discovered before it died completely and he started having a serious arrhythmia. Definitely prayers on the wing. it would probably be better if they replaced the whole pacemaker with a more modern model.
Do keep us posted.
Jo
Thank you so much for forwarding the email from Amanda. It is very eloquent. Wouldn't it be great to take a Road Trip To South Dakota next summer?
xo Good Evening, All.
Adding my prayers for Jo, Andrea's husband, Granny Riffe and all the Riffes and relatives,
and each and every one of us.
How lovely the Eagles filled up the Heart Nest and that many of you got to see them.
I got email, too, from Amanda, Deb's niece about the dinner plans and more. Think she isn't even in SD yet, but flying tomorrow & they will send out more info later.
Hi NatureNut, I think at one point Deb did get cormorants on film in SD...it will take me some looking.
The Crab Dish sounds wonderful.
amanda just posted the dinner info on Facebook.....momentary shock when I saw Debs' name pop up.
That book for Jacob sounds truly wonderful, L☺lly
Even when you think you are "short" I bet you're not by most standards....♥
I started to email her today with a pic from Mt McKinley...it had snowed and there were some tracks from snowmobiles.....we were always watching for them everyday during the winter...she was the one who caught a picture of them...but caught my self right before I hit the button...the mind plays games with you sometimes
could not even concentrate on House this week, will have to catch it on the computer, or when it re-runs
AOYP
Mits
I had emailed the picture of the Eagle at BWO, " flashing,"
from Sunday morning, ...to Deb
Paula -
I sent you an email.
Thanks.
xo
I'm glad Megan made it back from the tree-cutting adventure okay, I always worry about that kind of thing. Worrywart, I
And worry, you should, cause I was.
Whew! Megan!
Yes, unfortunately in my line of work I have taken some rough calls regarding tree-cutters
nice of you to share with her, Megan, or was it her tree:)
Goodnight everyone.
Prayers for Jo and Andy's husband and Ms. Riffe, their families and friends, and all others who need them.
Turning my light off but the night light is on for others.
Judie
Well, I guess technically it's all of ours, as we live on the same land:) But she has a woodstove and we don't. Hubby keeps her supplied with wood all winter.
Yes, Margy and Loretta, I remember her cormorant pics, too.
Taking a break.......
BBL
Well, I definitely see one chicklet in Alcoa box.......but that's all I can make out unless the others are laying down flat.
I thought those chicks were covered with too much poop shoot to go airborne ☺
Sirens and Train whistles, I hear a bunch of both around here.
What does it mean when blogger is running in compatibility view? I just hit that button by mistake.
Pls and Thanks, experts
Many moons age, my brother and Dad decided to cut down a tree one Sunday...Super Bowl Sunday...One of the branches took out a power line...no one got hurt...but the neighborhood was out of electric for hours...they were lucky the power crew got it on back in time for the Super Bowl!
Got me, Margy! You must have hit some windows shortcut button...I hate those!
Margy, you have mail.
Finally got my bird clock reset...needed new singing batteries...and ya'll are right....it's a PIA to change it!
Luckily there were no power lines nearby, only trees all around us, and I must say I was impressed when he dropped it exactly where he wanted it to go. And it was so loud when it hit the ground, and then it got quiet and a red bellied woodpecker gave us a very loud scolding.
Okay, Amanda just answered my email, so okay to send to her!
I'll say good thing Paula that the power crew got the power restored before Super Bowl.... !!!
Good work by you and husband, Megan...
would love to heard the sounds, tree AND bird
I see you put a link on the Momsters Page, Paula, to the Poem and Picture that Loretta did.
Thanks!
There is so much on that page that I have not finished exploring yet.
It is under Files, sorry, the link Paula put up earlier is to Deb's Blog
Wanda... GREAT Evening Visit picures....those criss crossy spider lines are rather mystical looking
Thanks for the news from Steve, Margy. I can't wait for the live cam again!
I noticed a car light on the still cam this evening...reminded me that we can now see the cars out on the road again.
Yeah, we are going to fall over when we can watch our Eagle Parents in action again...
♥ ♥ Live, up close, and personal
Tree cutting is SO dangerous. Saw my FIL just miss cutting his arm off once, and my ex got knocked to the ground by a limb that flew through the air when the tree hit the ground, and he cut his nose on the chain---luckily he didn't have his finger on the trigger at the time. Had an uncle who got killed when a tree fell on him when he cut it.
TERRIBLE.
Brother in law almost his leg severed at the knee by careless tree cutting....
Hello Sunny:) Good to hear from you.
Oh, Margy, I really like that....you hit it right on the nose...
Once a Momster, always a Momster!
Sunny- glad you stopped in! Come by when you can!
You're like my Godmother Momster Paula...sure had to hold my hand getting me signed up didn't you ? ☺ ♥
Well, I am in Bluefield and getting ready to go lie in the bed with my Mattie. Will see you all tomorrow. Love you all!
Love to all the Southern Delegation, Sharon, Hugs for all xo
I have been meaning to ask, has anyone talked to Suzanne and how is she doing ?
LOL, yes I did, Margy. And it sure was worth it :)
Thanks Paula...
It sure has been for me too
Night-night Sharon.
That you know she saw some is all I wondered about ☺
hey Sunny,I'm older than dirt...I remember you:)

So good to have a Late Night Norma Visit ☺
I'm getting itchy feet to make a road trip to Romney - been wondering how Davin's recovery and healing are going, when you have time.
Here is a link to a Waterfowl festival in Easton Md this week-end. Not sure whether it would be of interest to anyone near there or not...been watching some things in our local rag about it.
Waterfowl Festival, Easton Md
that is a huge, major, and very famous event.
It's late.
I think most of had little sleep, or fitful sleep, hope tonight's rest is restorative and full of serenity dreams.
Love to you all,
and God Bless Us, Every One
See you in the morning Eagle Light.
Prayers, and hugs, and special prayers of gratitude for all that Deb has brought to our lives
xo ☺ ♥
Stopping in to say good night to everyone. I didn't get home until almost 10:00. I saw so many deer on the side of the road this evening--they are everywhere out there. I spotted 3-4 dead ones on the way to work this morning and one this evening. Be careful.
Prayers for all who need them. God bless and good night.
Will be home tomorrow. Doctor's appointment.
Norma, I didn't know Deb personally, but I was born and raised in South Dakota, so we chatted about that. She lived in the college town that was the big rival to my college!
MITS, you're not older than dirt!
Thanks Paula---LOVE YOU ALL!--Any news from SUZANNE?----Miss her so very much too--
night---
yes, got a long email from Suzanne today, she is fine, still looking for a job
Good night
Yeah Mits, I have dirt in my garden that's older than you...
Tired, gonna lay down and see if I can sleep. Nite all:)
find that hard to believe, Megan...good night.....good night, my sister:)
Goodnight to all turning in. Hope we all sleep better tonight for sure.
Good to hear from you, Sunny.
I have been up since 6 after 3 hours sleep and am not tired....just don't want to go to bed.
Oh, Shirley, this is rutting season, so they are everywhere!!! On the move constantly. Just don't understand why they can't be smart enough to stay away from roads!! It makes me sick whenever I see a dead one. Be careful!
Got lost in TV tonight. Basically that was very very good. While watching TV you do not think. lol
Dinner was delicious and we enjoyed some wine as well.
Need to go to the computer to check the emails you have been talking about this evening.
I was thinking there were 2 eyasses at Alcoa in the box, but I do only see one.
Hitting the hay...tomorrow will be easier...
Gnite, and Hugs to all ♥
I hope I'm not too late, but want to say HI to Sunny and Norma, who is up pretty late! ☺
Gonna get off now & check out some sites & try to lessen the email count---968 now!!! Most have been read-need to put them in old mail or delete-yuck.
Good night and Love to all ☺ ♥
I also watched some TV this evening.
Really tired but also restless.
Good Night All!
Prayers for lots and lots of friends and family! Rest well Granny for tomorrow you will get all fixed up!
((((Hugs to all)))) ♥ ♥
Haven't been able to concentrate on TV, either, but have spent some time working on the tribute.
Nite all! God bless!
Prayers for Sissy's MIL.
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE...

She received training at the prestigious University of Minnesota Raptor Center where she learned to expertly care for and treat medically, injured birds of prey. She received her Masters degree in Biology from Purdue University, where her thesis investigated wintering Bald Eagle habitat in Indiana. Hi, Gang,
Well, guess what!
Thanks! :o]
There's an eagle in the nest.
Poof!

Good morning Eagle buds! I stayed home today. Tom and two of his brothers rode down to Bristol. Surgery is scheduled for 11 this morning.
How is everyone? Been a tough week, huh? I love you guys, hope we all have a great day. Will keep you posted about Granny Riffe today.
forgot to mention, drove past a house last night, yard lit up with Christmas lights. Knew it wouldn't be long to see that :(
Hi Sissy ♥
We will watching for your posts.
(( hugs ))
Hey Sissy :) we'll be watching for an update. Hope everything goes well for Granny Riffe.
Yesterday we were webcams away and today Sissy and I are sitting in the same room working.
2 pretty eagles side by side at BWO
They took Granny down for surgery abut 15 minutes ago.
Morning, all!
BWO eagle pair just poofed!
Lots of sticks missing from the osprey nest!
Beautiful thoughts Glo; that would be the ultimate sleepover!
M♥rning Paula, Sharon, and hello again Sissy and Megan...
Andy - glad hubby got some new hardware and all is well!
Prayers for Granny Riffe!
Getting dark quickly at Finland!
good morning everyone...have a good one.
I want to take him to the cemetery where my father is buried and place a flag, and then visit another cemetery or two...he has Veterans Day off....very important holiday...want to share some of that with him.
xo ☺
back to the checkbook. I made an addition and subtraction error on an account I seldom use....turned out I was 2 cents short when a check came in on it.....which means a 20-dollar penalty, but at least they cashed the "bad check "
Sigh.....:(
Good morning! A couple from Sunday:

Alcoa Update -
Tuesday November 10, 2009
Barega and Warrun have flown the coop! This image was taken last night just minutes before one of the boys took his first flight. This morning, both the boys were gone leaving Froona home alone. She doesn't look very happy about it either !
G♥♥d Morning Helen, hope you got some good rest overnight.
xo You have a good day too, ya' hear ??? That's a command, not a suggestion ☺
WOW!!!!!!!!! Bob:)...awesome...
God Bless our Veterans and Happy Birthday USMC Semper Fi! my late hubby was a Marine. Got married in his dress blues. He was very proud to serve in the United States Marine Corps.
Yes,
Happy Birthday USMC
Thanks to all Marines whose day this is, as well as it ours.
Wonderful photos, Bob !
There are better adjectives....
but I might not be able to spell them... ☺
Some gave all
Hi Eagle friends -
I read about Deb and wanted to check in let you all know I'm thinking about you and Deb's family.
It's so enviable to see that you always are here and are there for each other.
You're an amazing group Eaglet Momsters!
Lori in Fredneck :)
Thanks for the history, Helen...
not something I ever was "taught" in school
THIS school outshines most of my other schools
Off to the grocery. Awesome photos Bob Thank you so much for sharign with us. And thanks again for your help with suggestions on my camera. I do love it. I am so looking forward to Eagle Season here once again. I even rented a lens from a place you suggested and now own that lens. I appreciate you so very much.
Lori, we have missed you. Where have you been? You just disappeared from us!
Lori - glad you could pop in. Please do so more often. We miss you!
Superb, Bob!
I'm sorry. When you guys are on I'm at work and I just got distracted - I wasn't able to multi-task like I used to! :)
You and Hidey are always in my thoughts. I pray for Hidey and his safety every day.
Paula I think about you everyday on my way home and I pass your office.
Lori
I have been thinking of you often and am so glad to see you,
(are you Really in FREDNECK - not sure I know where that is ☺)
We are hoping for live coverage of the NCTC nest soon, not sure how soon, but you must get back in the groove with us before then !
xo
I will Maggie. Ya'll are so nice!
When was the last time Hidey was at the nest?
Can't imagine next year (my 2nd year nest watching) with possibly more than 1 superstar to watch and wait on.
Hey Lori:) Good to 'see you'. Forgot you were from Fredneck.
Hello to all:)
Bob, the sunset pictures are just beautiful. Have you ever heard of newegg.com? My kid is really interested in a good camera, and her cinemotography teacher likes this site. I think he bought the cameras they use in classs there.
Morning all. Hoping everyone rested better last night.
Mits, you got my Did You Know corner item for today....thanks! I was going to post the same. Great minds, as they say! Read a really good book about it all not too long ago. Happy Birthday USMC. Semper Fi!
Bob, wonderful pics, as always!!
Glo, so generous of you to make such a nice offer. Hope some can make that trip next year.
Glad to see you back, Lori!
Margy, enjoy your afternoon trek.
Sissy, please keep us updated on Granny.

BOP is Janie site, Deb worked with her o the SD osprey project
I think I am just going to put the week-end thread and today's in favorites and get all these sites opened up and saved, plus all our comments.
Playing beat the clock, have a grocery store date at 11:00, and trying to get a card in the mail so it gets at least halfway to South Dakota by the end of the day...
Love to you all, catch you later.
xo ♥
Yep, I got the name from the EM email, and I was checking out the site just now.
Wild Deer Lands in Lion Habitat at the National Zoo
A wild white-tailed deer jumped into a lion exhibit at the Smithsonian's National Zoo Sunday afternoon, Nov.

Waiting for word concerning Granny Riffe.
Lori - I think the last time we saw Hidey in the nest was at the beginning of August
Hey, Mits, why wouldn't they just let the lions consume the deer?
Paula!!!!
Good morning and Happy B'day USMC!
Wow Mits, that's some story about the deer in the lion den. I guess they couldn't let the lion eat the deer because they are on very specific diets at the zoo? Poor deer, but wow those lions must have thought they died and went to hunting heaven!
Well thank you, Paula. Cause that's what I say. Let the lions have the deer, they caught it.
Savages!!!!
Lori - you have mail
yikes i'm late.
Eagle back at Bwo
ha ha head turned around backwards
BTW, is a sympathy card to family that is, I am not prepared to send anything else out til later.
xo
well now all this talk is giving me a hankerin' for some venison!
I am having no luck getting onto FB to post the memorial contribution info. Keep getting a gneric white page and can't navigate to any other page....very weird. Will keep trying.
LOL, they are only doing what comes naturally!
I'm sure they want to monitor the food they eat, though.
Yum, Venison!
Ya'll are killing me. I prefer my wildlife warm and fuzzy, not on the table or in a varmint's mouth!!
Another split coming!!!
Guess you never watched National Geographic, eh, Sissy.
What was that other wildlife show that used to be on?
I got it now, Wild Kingdom, presented by Mutual of Omaha.
Remember the story of Elsa the Lion?
