GOOD MORNING EE SISSY AND ALL OTHER MOMSTERS AND dADSTERS WHO ARE GOING TO GET ON HEERE TODAY. TGIF! We made it throught another week!!!! I have only about thirty more days of school left. I think the kids get out the 10th of June and I have to work just the following Thursday and Friday to get the room straightened up.

Finally went home last night and pulled the new computer out of the box and set it up. My husand came in and finished the joy, making sure I had connected it right. He said he can get Yahoo, sooooooooo here I come again. I can't wait to try it tonight after school.

Sorry to hear that MITS had a fall. I was just wondering if they were back from their trip yet or not. Hope she takes care of herself.

I see we have two new people on here; Sara and Bibee. Welcome aboard. You couldln't find a better group of people than these people.

I see Hidey is just stirring on the nest. Boy is he getting big. Guess he must have had his breakfast a little earlier. I seem to come in at school when he is napping.

Well, the kids are going to be here in a few, so I had better get on the ball! You all have a good day blogging and watching and a SUPER WEEKEND!

Ah, yes, Norma...Ramps. The Tasty Little Tid Bit from WV. We have a small patch of them growning in a safe (away from thieves) spot.
They are a delicasy if you use just enough in a skillet of fried potatoes. Some fresh Morel Mushrooms and eggs to go along with the ramps would be divine!

Used to be in my yard, sure wish they were still here. Had to dodge the poop shoots, but fun to find meal skeletons in the yard. They had a specific spot they liked to dump the remains.

GOOD AFTERNOON, EVERYBODY! I slept in again this morning. The trip to the high desert went well yesterday, except for having to sit in the car for so long. My caboose was numb by the time I got home! All was well up there, though. Took me a while to catch up on what's happening here. Mits and Sharon, how are you two doing?! Hope you're feeling better real soon! Beautiful day here in SoCal--about 72 on my patio, the sun's out; no wind. Tried taking a picture of the hummer nest, but Momma hummer took off to the feeder, so didn't get her on the nest. Will try to crop the picture, and maybe the nest will show up better. I'll get a good one yet! Hey, I see that Hidey girl doing her wingersizes-- she looks like such a big girl today!
You know, I think a couple of other folks have mentioned it, but I find that I have no sound for the nest cam either, since sometime yesterday. Any updates about that? I tried restarting the computer, but it didn't help. Well, I'm gonna go wash my bedroom window so it's squeaky clean. Might be able to get a flashless picture of the hummer nest from inside. Got some laundry and house cleaning to do, too, but will be back in a bit! Take care, everyone! :o]

Such a big girl (we guess).
Looks like a Schmoo. If anyone is old enough,in the Li'l Abner Sunday cartoons decades ago, they had some animals that just had a bulblike body & head w/smile, no front legs. They were the cutest blobs. They even made plastic magnet toys like the Scottie dogs out of them. Mine were red & blue. Maybe I can Google them. ☺

Helen, so glad you went for Xray. Good that everything is in place. Guess you'll have to be flat on your back for awhile if that doesn't hurt. Those pands have to stop slapping you around! LOL

I am home from work. I am glad you got to the doctor, Helen, but wish the ribs weren't broken. I hope the celebrex kicks in fast.

The whole family is in the nest.

Off goes Lib.

One thing about us, we don't do anything halfway, we go for the gold. Broken leg, fractured ribs, etc.!

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Now I would venture to guess that Mits had a good-looking panda boy walking by and she forgot what she was doing!

deb said...

How are your legs today, Sharon?

Good Evening In Eagleland

Hope for change in weather for walkers tomorrow at NCTC. Pray it will not rain.

So glad Mits you got Xray on those ribs. Medication should certainly help.

Mema Jo I don't have a "pink poodle" but as you can see I do have a "pink kitten" lolSharon hope you legs are better.
Sounds like an upcoming Southern Delecation forming..

Hey to everyone! Hope everyone is having a great Friday. Looks like Hidey is doing well today. I hope I get to see him when he takes the first flight. I still don't have any sound. Is it just my new computer?

hedgie said...

Good evening fowl friends!
No, Bibee, it's not your computer...it's apparently an NCTC issue. Steve has been advised.
Long day here...Dana, got my license renewed....UGLY pic....and it took almost 45 mins! Came home in pouring rain...off and on all afternoon. Luckily it stopped before I had to go back out...daughter helped me get groceries, so still have a few things to get put away. Sun shining here now.

hedgie said...

ZOO ALERT.......Tai Shan had a colonoscopy this morning!! Follow-up to "rare bowel condition"----poor boy! Doing fine, and back in panda house.

hedgie said...

Mits, so sorry those ribs are fractured, but SO relieved that they weren't displaced---thankfully no punctured lung to worry about! The Celebrex is not a particularly potent pain med...it is glorified antiinflammatory with the Cox-stuff to help prevent stomach irritation. It is prescribed either once or twice a day....hoping you have something like Tylenol w/ Codiene on hand....take it between doses of Celebrex!! If the C. is every 12 hrs., take the pain pill 6 hrs. after it! Hope you get some relief----ice helps, too.

hedgie said...

Candy, so glad your computer is up and running! Now we won't have to miss you!!

deb said...

I think it is time to see some nature, the rain is gone and the sun is out. BBL!

hedgie said...

Guess everyone is eating or out for the evening!!

wvgal_dana said...

Yep Lynn your right froggie went to eat. Ask me in 20 minutes and I won't be able to tell you what I had.

So glad you are able to give Mits some advice. I looked up Celebrex and seen it wasn't going to take care of her pain. Thought it didn't sound like a pain med.

Mits you listen to our Nurse Lynn.

Ho Ho Dana - this time the Kitten can't cut it. Here is a funny... Ed took me to Toys R Us! I had no faith in finding a pink poodle - that was popular eons ago!
We walked every isle - he would go up one and I would take the next. He found one Lil Loveble Pink Poodle in a box with carrier and few other packaged items! Well I was a happy camper knowing it was the last one and was reduced a big $2. We headed to the check out - Ed stopped as he looked for an isle and said JO ELLEN LOOK! He
was pointed to a bin right at the register that had 4 of the most beautiful stuffed curly pink pooldes you would want to see! Well they were only $9 a piece so we got all four for table decor at the 50th b-day party and then my daughter can give each of the 4 grandkids a keepsake! I just love it when things turn out so well!
You know who I thanked!

Jo now that is what I call "SPECIAL" !! ( : ( :

Paula sorry I had to leave. My walk is not until Sunday. I thought it was Saturday. It is a four mile walk but I have to walk a mile to get there and a mile back. Good luck tomorrow.

Good Luck Ceil on your walk.

Aha - Lib is feeding Hidey dinner!

paula eagleholic said...

Have fun Ceil....so you're doing 6 miles...that's great!

Thanks Dana. I do about 4 a year. March of Dimes for Birth defects, Dibetes, Komen Breast Cancer and Down Syndrome, Heart Fund. Paula I can't count again. Dana that is 5
I have not had time today to see Hidey so I just looked in on her. Looks like Lib is feeding her.

paula eagleholic said...

I had to see what a SHMOO was, still have no clue. Loretta you have to log out and back in again so everyone can see it.

Jo, is it your son that's turning 50? Does he like pink poodles?

paula eagleholic said...

I was out spraying the yard, and planting a tree and throwing the ball for the dogs...no walk tonight, will do that tomorrow. Hoping to get some decent pics of Hidey!

paula eagleholic said...

I think Hidey is almost full. Lib still working on that fish.
