I hope the surgeon is waiting or is on call when Sharon gets there. I hope he has an order in for the start of her antibiotics.

Hey all!! Sher just called. She is in the ER waiting room and they told her it would be a long wait. I hate that, know she is not feeling like doing that.

Sometimes even the best places forget about patient care sometimes. I just hate it for her. That ride is hard when you feel good, much less being cut from ******* to elbow!!

Me too Jo. Hopefully it will something they can do here at home, like IV antibiotics outpatient. But I want them to do whatever it takes to get her well. This ain't nothing to mess with for sure.
Thanks all for all the prayers. I am going to bed, gotta get up early and get Tom to the hospital. I will holler at ya'll tomorrow. If I hear anything tonight, I will shoot out an email or post it on the blog.

Day was good as could be Hedgie. Youngest son Michael came down to be w/ his older brother John today. Took John and Michael out to dinner before evening viewing....then went to viewing. John picked one of his Dad's favorite Chinese restaurants. Funeral is tomorrow. That will bring him closure and allow the healing to begin.
Going to hit the hay.

Good morning friends. Just talked to Sharon. She is still in the ER. They haven't done anything yet except take some blood. She is waiting to go for a CT scan now to make sure the infection is not in the mesh. So far, everyone seems to think the infection is superficial but they don't know for sure. They haven't given her any antibiotics or anything. She is really frustrated, understandably so. She is a trooper though and she is where she needs to be. Pray they find out what the best course of action is and get something going.

Yep cam is wacky so moved on to other things for a while. Glad Sharon is where she needs to be. They will get to the top of this today and do it the right way in the right timing. No sense masking something with the start of antibiotic too early. Best to find out where it is all inclusive and then treat it whamo right from the start.
