Good morning, Wanda. Thanks for coming over and getting me. Just wanted to jump on this morning and say thanks to all for the prayers. Getting ready to go down to Mrs. Riffe's this morning. She is just pitiful. This is the 4th child she has had to bury. She said last night she didn't think she would make it through this one. Doug was there almost everyday, would just come and have coffee and visit. Such a loss for us all but especially for her.
Sissy Special prayers for strength and comfort. You are a blessing for the entire Riffe family, we know that. Take Care.

I wonder why we never see our eagle pair bring a fish to the nest, but BWO eagles do it often? Strange.
I just put four up on Yahoo...
they were gone for awhile, I was checking out...then had one last loving look, and Voila! Eagle Magic !
The BWO eagles don't bring the fish to their nest they mess up the osprey nest but it feeds a bunch of birds. I hate to go but have doctor appt.

Okay, this is it. Just had a quick look at Snowman Cam 24-hour archive, last night between 7 and 9 pm, there were as many as 7 or 8 deer at the cam At One Time!

Wanda, You need to completely shut down every couple of days. That means power off too. The only way to completely clear memory is power off. If that dosen't work then you may have spyware or virus.

Morning everyone, the blogger cop has had it out for me the past couple or three months. Refused to accept anything from me. I became so discourage. I had the email from the blog and saw that the Bluefield Girls needed prayer. Before I sat down here, I just prayed a little prayer that God would help me get on the blog, so I could encourage my sisters from Bluefield, and I got on the first time. Also there's news that the oldest eyass at the Alcoa site has fledged, so the others might be very soon now.

Last evening the cub's slumber was broken by a period of activity. Stretching and yawning, and just generally squirming about in the little space he was occupying in the nest box. Suddenly, his left foot became the area of concentration for his kinetic energy. At first small, slow and barely discernible; then, the motion grew and became a rhythmic pattern. He was scratching! One minor technical problem; while most of the required sequences of the action were in place, his foot did not come into contact with any other part of his body. In spite of the ineffectiveness, he continued scratching the floor for a time before sleep overtook him again. While his weight (3357 grams) continues to increase rapidly, motor skills are not as easily gained; they require physiological maturation, a bit of trial and error, and much practice before being mastered.

I am sorry -- SISSY'S MIL passed away --- I read about ED'S DAD--the obit was in our paper---but I think the funeral will be today--in CUMBERLAND, MD!----He had been in a nursing home in Romney!!
I so love and am so grateful for our group!

None, Paula. We had 2" and it is gone! The storm was all out west, except for the winds. I think it snowed itself out in the Black Hills.

It looks like Lun Lun is "fencing" in Luney. He scooted clean out of the cam's range earlier today. I can remember Bai would stop ZZ just as he got himself to the door and was ready to step out...pick him up and bring him back...over and over :)

Hi HELEN AND WANDA! Just got home from school and turned on the puter to see an eagle on the nest in Maine. I still can't bring up the live and no sound.15 second update is ok with me right now. OH Poof and the eagle is gone.

Candy at one time it was a lighted cam. The first year I watched them all night but I have noticed this year when it gets dark you cannot see the nest.

Good evening my Eagle buds!! Been a heck of a day. We got the arrangements finalized and the wake is not until Thursday and funeral Friday. Gonna be a long week for sure. I am gonna take Sher to Charlottesville tomorrow night and come back Thursday morning. Just feel stressed to the max. Need to breath and pray and things will work out.
