My eaglets have fledged and are doing fine,they have been spending a lot of time at the watershed learning to fish but mom and dad are doing all the fishing at this time.They haven't been back to the for some time.I hope that everyone here has a great day and have a great 4th .

Bai is taking her exercise laps and ZZ has been trying to follow along behind as well as she can (tourists watching), and it's been a cute sight for several minutes. But now little ZZ's legs are getting tired, and she's standing in more or less one spot.... Her head turns and she looks like she's still following Bai's lead each time she passes in her mind though.

Sharon and I are going out shopping and messing around this afternoon. Sister stuff! Yea! Sat up late last night talking and slept late this morning. Poor Jack was up at 6:00 and out the door shortly after. You forget about this "work" stuff!
While checking out black storks, I noticed that I had been missing all of their updates on right side of page...like a 40 min. clip of the banding on the 17th! So cool. Talk about noisy and feisty! Of course, couldn't understand the human language!
Thanks Deb for posting the ducklings jumping out of the box. I thought it was cute 1st one got to hole stayed there. 2nd one comes up to hole beside the 1st one. I think the 1st one said "you go first" and the 2nd said "no you got here first after you". lol Finally 1st then 2nd went. cracked me up ty again.
Good PM. Been planting more flowers in big pots outside--gotta get all my red, white, and blues lined up for the 4th!!!

Hi, eagle lovers! Deb - thanks for the duckling link. They are sooooo cute. I like the last one. There are 3 remaining ducklings doing a lot of jumping up and around. Finally 2 of the 3 make it out. The last one in there stops and looks around for a second or two, noticing that everyone else is gone. Then she make it out. Too bad we couldn't see how far they had to drop to get to Momma.
It's a cool, cloudy day up here on this mountain. If I didn't know it was July ist and I walked outside, I'd think it was mid or late April!
Happy to see Lolly got on for awhile. Helen, we'll be thinking, praying for Ceil's quick recovery. Hoping she will be more prompt in the future to seek med. attention. After all, modern med. IS a God given gift. Amen

FYI Lake Washington Deb, Helen & I & folks from ME Forum feel that the one eaglet in the LW nest has died. He was half way behind the tree trunk but none of us could confirm we have seen any movement since Friday (at least not since Sat) Emails have been sent but no replys to date. We'll get info here as we receive from Wild Watch or from someone on the ME Forum.
Just opened an email from our Momster Genie in FL. The sandhill cranes with 2 little ones came to visit her today. We all really thought that they wouldn't be back this season... This is the bestest surprise !! She will give us a video link tomorrow and I sure will post it for you. Genie will also post pics over on the FTLOE forum. I'll let you know when available so you can go take a look!
