it was warm and crowded at the zoo, Red, but, everyone is on high alert, waiting to see if Mei will deliver a cub or two in the next couple of weeks....headed back to the ocean this a.m.:)

I had a nice time, Norma, it only rained once, so no lightening strikes to set the bluffs to smoking. Lots of birds and a few deer, plus some nice scenery.

Wow, that is the first time I have seen the swifts in over a week! They are getting so big.
MAGPIE always sees DEER early in the am at PA SITE!!!---All I have seen lately has been the SQUIRREL!!---Think it's the same one every day!----ho!

Indiana Dave - I have to take some time to look at the pics of your 3 juvies!
Norma, the Karl Mundt NWR is near where I was. There are a lot of eagles there, but it is totally closed to the public. There isn't even a visitor's center. I did watch for flying eagles, but didn't see any. I would think it is fledging time for them, so I was hoping to spot some dots in the sky. You can get to the water side by boat, but you need a light weight boat to navigate the sand bars. My boat can't do that.
I'm not sure where I got it Paula. It's propably copywrited and I'm guilty of using it.

I have been checking my mail---I couldn't get on yesterday afternoon either----SO - I now have 'umpteen million' to go!!---I am so SLO-----W!!!
DANA---I have checked the DONKEY a couple times today---VERY--VERY FEW DONKEYS!!!----Certainly not a PACE!!
SISSY---I see a huge BAMBOO branch 'dancing'----NOPE!!---There is a 'LITTLE PRINCE' eating so fast----HONESTLY he appears to be attacking the bamboo with both hands!!----Both PANDAS are inside!!---MEI is sleeping on the ROCKS!!!!
I put pictures from my trip up on my page in a slideshow. I think there are too many, so I may delete some later today, but I have looked at them too long for now. Be warned there are over 60 pictures.
I am off to the grocery store, BBL.
