Normabyrd, I am going to the lake after work tomorrow but probably coming back home tomorrow night. They have a boat parade and fireworks on the lake tomorrow night. This is at Claytor Lake in Virginia, not near the Greenbrier area.
YES, NORMA, they are arriving later today, and, so is hubby....busy weekend, then hubby's relatives from the MidWest arrive next weekend.
Parent arrived with child right behind. Parent left and child mantling!
I have read that "MORE" isn't always BEST!!!---Isn't that CORRECT!!--------------------------JO--CHRISSY--MEGAN & BELLE!!---
INDIAN RIVER BAY, DELAWARE OSPREY NEST....They are getting big.
SET ME STRAIGHT SHARON!!---When I hear weather forecast in WV---I just supposed that BLUEFIELD was included in the GREENBRIER VALLEY? is that wrong?
CAPE HENELOPEN OSPREY NEST...T his one has sound, but not very good.
Normabyrd, Greenbrier is northeast of here but not sure if they include us in their forecast.
Blue Marlin is NatureNut Loretta
CARMEL CLAM CAMthis has many nice cams with sound, and you can even see the smoke from the fires sometimes.
Beautiful to see our juvie on Live Feed this morning! And a Good Good Morning to All Of You In Eagle Land!Sounds as though everyone is getting ready to celebrate the 4th! The year has gone by fast - and it doesn't slow down for anyone or anything so you just have to Go With The Flow
Iris Atlantic Cod =Iris, Deb, Candy, Dana, Cindi, Vicky, Red (he posted on blog), Jim, Carol (she posted on blog), and Lynn=10I also think 1 more for BlueFins is Hedgie=13I got same for Hammerhead, Sailfish, Swordfish that you do
There are 2 new entries on the Moose Cam from June & July http://moosewatch.com/
Good Thursday Morning Jo ( :
Jo hummingbird feeder is closer
Jo or anyone what is Lynn's blog name?????
WOW DANA!!---You are GOOD!!
and the sound is back on the hummer cam....
talk about GREAT MINDS!!!-----WOW! HELEN---
ok hummer feed is just rewinding about every 30 seconds, you hear the same guy, and see the same hummers
I knew I hung out with great minds - BUT the word HEDGE proves it! lol
You can see two Flamingo chicks ....
OK then I need to find out if Lynn (Hedgie) is an Atlantic Cod or a BlueFin....I know somewhere she blogged it.
Now I have spotted 3 flamingo chicksLove their chubby legs......
I know Mits I had to turn it off till they fix it. No other way to turn sound off. With that guy repeating himself. I could take a "fast trip to Ecuador" lol Give me Vicky's cane to ride....lol
Flamingo info from the cam page:...There are about 60 birds in the National Zoo's flamingo flock, some of which have been living at the Zoo since 1965! Three chicks hatched in June. So I guess I now see all 3
Iris Thanks again for the Fish Game as I think we all enjoyed it!As long as we all stay in the same pond - we'll be ok!
Good morning, everyone. I have been busy this morning, just getting to posting.
We have an MT MESSY NEST!
But, we need to make sure it is not an eagle fishing pond! :)
ROFLMBO Sharon I just knew someone would think of that!!! lol Ok, you know that it is going to be hard to find a body of water. These eagles are beginning to populate all the areas! So let's just say that all of us fishes stay in the same school.
MORNIN' DEB!----YEP!---It's been hard to get on this am----But seems to be harder to remember who posted what!----'probably just me--i'm not always with the program'--We have GLORIOUS weather this am--but temp is 80° already!---
I'd like to see an eagle take on a bluefin tuna,ha!
I would like to thank Iris, too for the Fish GAME. Who would have thought that a bunch (or should we be called a GAGGEL) women would get such a kick out of a game like this. I even got Gene to take the test...didn't have to twist his arm. He's game for anything.IRIS...GENE IS A BLUE FIN TUNA.
Helen, what have you been drinking?
The largest recorded specimen was caught off Nova Scotia and recorded at 680 kg (1,496 lb). The species can reach a maximum length of about 4.3 meters (14 feet). a piece of info about blue-fin tunas
Helen is just estactic because shehas very special company coming today! M & M 's do that to you!All that sugar & spice!!!
I meant we Tunas have nothing to fear from eagles:)
I have a few errands to accomplish -If I don't get back before I leave for Pizza I will certainly check you all out when I return this evening. BBL
Thursday 3 July: The camera will be switched off for a while this evening while the chicks are ringed and satellite-tagged and the lens is cleaned. Normal service will be resumed tomorrow. You can read more about how we'll be able to follow the fortunes of the ospreys: http://www.rspb.org.uk/ospreytrackingthey are so cute,.
I wonder if the M&M sisters will like the fireworks? Get the Video camera ready. My grandchildren all had different reactions. Or oldest daughte cried so much, we had to take her home. Karla, the youngest, liked them; didn't want to go home when the were all done.
YEAH HELEN!!---I agree with WANDA!!----SEND ME SOME---I NEED IT BAD!!
Hi Everyone!Getting on the 'puter here that DOESN'T go online!!!!!!IRIS and MARGY, I did the fish test and ended up a Blue Marlin!!!LorettaI'm not a Yahoo member(can read it, tho)-have enough trouble keeping up w/AOL. We have 500 new messages!!!!
Hahaha. I turned up my volume to view a video, which Steffi made on the Catalina Report; and I noticed a strange sounding track...sounded a lot like a man calling out something in the background, followed by a lot of songbird sounds.Well, the sounds continued after the video was done, after it was shut down, after IWS was shut down!!"What is it?!" I finally started shutting down sites, one by one ...It turned out to be the Hummingbird site in Ecuador!! I didn't even know it had sound until this happened.C(°ﮡ°)DJim
it did have sound a long time ago, Jim, then when it came back no sound, this is just a video re-reun that is looping around every 30 seconds
Wanda, are you calling us a bunch of geese? :)
That certainly explains the the repetitions, Mits. What wrong with the site that it doesn't transmit live tracks?C(°ﮡ°)DJim
I don't know, Jim
Neither eaglet has fledged from the West End nest yet. But I think "Miracle" should take to the wing at any moment.C(°ﮡ°)DJim
Well, Paula, "If it sounds like a goose and walks like a goose" LOLWhen we all get together, you know how we sound!
SHARON, when you come back on here, there is a new FACIAL posted for you. I think you got it last night. Magpie gets another one too. Haven't done hers yet. Have to pick beans for our picnic tomorrow.

Sharon have fun at the lake. Tell everyone we said HI ( : and Happy 4th !!!
Hi Justin ( :Neat you will be in 9th grade contragulations ... good work!! ( :
Wanda, don't know if the M&M girls, would like the fireworks, some loud noises have really scared Maggie, like the horn at a basketball game sent her into a tailspin....we will not go to any official fireworks, can see the ones at the inlet if it is clear. But the amazing thing is we can sit on the balcony and watch some really wonderful private ones on the beach from some people and the hotels.....it is really neat, besides these girls go to bed early.
I have been looking, when did I miss Justin?
off to get some lunch, and then to the grocery store:)...bbl

OH I forgot to mention, the Butterfly Weed is out...(also called milkweed I think) beautiful oranges mostly and some yellows, saw some along Charles Town Rd in Martinsburg area........zzzzz......
Margy we were riding down Back Creek Rd. yesterday. Heading towards Shanghi. Went straight through there. A ways down on the left is this marshy area; water, catails, and such. By george I saw something told husband to back up. There was the smallest fawn we had ever seen and I've seen many. It was so cute....I know the Mom was there is the taller marsh. Juvie in the nest- think adult just left.
Juvie ALERT OUR NEST
One of them has food- fighhting over food- one took it and flew back out of nest.
And there goes the other...
I love seeing their wing span.
Yeah, they really fill up that nest when they spread their wings.
It's times like these when I really wish I was watching the whole scene.
without the ticks ofcourse
Came in to check the radar,( and the cam of course...) back out to plant some more..
Juvie just came back to nest...
Empty nest, I went back to watch the excitement and lost the feed. It came right back up, but of course, I lost the visit.
Looks like I missed all the action. Exciting supper at the nest. The dogs got in the water, had a blast. You should see little weiner legs swimming. They do a good job too. Mattie took Hollie to the shower (she is a long-haired dachshund). She had sand everywhere. Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Tomorrow is our big 31st anniversary. So hard to believe, seems like yesterday, seems like a lifetime ago. Been a wild 31 years for sure.
I missed the visit too, got home right after that!
Mits - have a great time w/ the M&M girls!Sissy = have fun at the lake!
Nice pic, Magpie! And nice to see Nilla stop in to say hi the other day!

Good Evening Everyone in Eagleland.Had a minor water rescue at the Park this PM.Lady and 2 young daughters took out a canoe & 12 yr. old son took a kayak. He had been in one before, & was next to parent. They were not out long & called that wind had come up, preventing them from returning to boat ramp.I called to tell her Greg & boat were on the way & she said son was hysterical & she must have called hubby who got so upset hearing the boy that he was going to call police & water rescue!!!!I told her to try and reassure the boy to think of it as an adventure!! (Fat Chance)He may feel that way later. They really were in no danger--had jackets & had pulled next to a floating dock upriver.I just dwnlded Suz's pics she sent by email. They are great!!I'm starving---BBL
Thanks for the heads up Tbird - glad you were still around...doesn't look like any food involved that last visit...
They sure were yakking at each tho!
Daggone if Middy didn't chase Pearl off the nest tho!!
we've got one
i get so hooked but i really am going to say good-bye and veg-I think LOL
Eaglet just standing in the nest...looking to the right
Searching for nestovers...or the dinner that was stolen earlier!
Does Tiny still have a spot on his head or is it gone now? Has anyone seen it?
Calling out some more...looking to the right
I couldn't see it last night, Wanda, but I don't think the light was right for seeing it, either.
I think this is Middy...it's not Tiny
Breeze has picked up and clouds have moved in...wonder if the rain will hold together and make it here
At the launch pad...
Going out to water in case we don't get any rain...
I too see Juvie in nest.....we just came from Williamsport raining there...looks like it is going to rain here too.
Had nest up all day ... now it wants to get wacky...
Hi Dana - I missed most of the Nest action today..and now can't see it very well if there IS action, screen rather staticky. Did you see the "dancing white ball" for a minute or two? Hilarious! I guess it was something stuck in Spidey's Web.
At top to the right is that eagle talcons??? Darn it's messed up now.
That white thing at top right has to things coming down from it. A bit ago those things were yellow.
It's rather ghostly....
