It's a coolish 39° here this morn, but the brightness factor (sunshine) is fairly high even at 8:00 a.m., and it's supposed to break 60° for the high of the day.
They say it's going to be more Santa Ana winds later today, but they also forecast possible rain for tomorrow!??

Mits, I think that's a shame, and gonna miss those guys, but I haven't even seen them near the nest, much less do nestorations! Used to see one roosting in the tree early AM, but not for quite a while.
Oh, person back talking to Bai, and now gone. Bai is probably saying, be quiet, give me my baby!
YEAH JO!!----I talked with their MOM this a.m. & told her----I bet they are either staying inside or freezing to death!!---ho!
All 5 Moose are visible at the feeders.
I can't get over how large those turkeys are - I am sure that the cam people throw out corn or some type of feed to get the wildlife in front of the camera. I love it because you never know what you will see. One of those turkeys would feed my whole crew!
Have never seen a wild turkey in the woods, but they are huge.
I posted some pics to the album from yesterday and this morning's visit. Got a really nice fly in and Belle was checking out the cam to see if Mits and Norma were really on the other end that early!
Oh, Squiggles just came back, and therer they both go through the little door! Well, Squigs is thinking about it, but Bai is gone.
So Bai is long gone, and now our little Precious is all alone and thinking about it. Door is still open, but she's not going through it to follow mom!
Aww, Mom just stuck her head in and sniffed noses with Precious, came in and walked around, and left again. Well, and back again. Think she's trying to get Squigs to follow her out. Squigs is almost running, look at her go!
Suzanne - I haven't seen them but I doubt those are my photos. They would have contacted me for permission.
Sold my camera (Canon 20D) on eBay today! I ordered a new one (Canon 40D). Can't wait to get out this weekend and take it for a spin.

Bob, hello! Are you sure they're not your pics? The soaring eagle is exactly like one you have, and the baby fox pic on the side is also the same as one you have. Do you have/can you get the magazine? From the Conserve the Bay folks.

Ok, person arrived. Went out another door. So since he walked in and through and out, I'm guessing the pandas are now outside. No, oh look, he's getting Squiggles!!! Picking her up. She doesn't want to go.

Hmmmm. I tried to find a copy of the magazine online but couldn't. If they are mine they stole them. There's been a few cases in the past where people used my photos without my permission (that I know about) but at least in those cases they credited me.
I'm so PROUD of our GIRL---She's got SPUNK!!!----ho!----Maybe we could name her "SPUNKETTA" ho!
NORMA, they are replicas of termite mounds, that is their favorite meal in the wild, but we can't have termites at the zoo, so they replace them with mealy bugs for the demo. They put their big mouths over the opening and suck them up, sounds like a vacuum cleaner when they are doing it, I love the sloths.

Norma, the sloths are much more people friendly than the pandas, they seem to enjoy company

I see they finally got Squiggles outside! GBai is eating bamboo, and she's gonna climb. Or well, maybe chew bamboo too. Or climb. She's adorable, and man she sure looks bigger! She's gonna tackle that tree.

This is the first time I've seen them both outside in a long time, and look at our little Precious go. Think she loves exploring. Oopsies, fell over, but got right back up and is now climbing a cub sized tree branch on the ground. Look at her go.

UPDATE ON SANDRA
Talked with Julie at Sandra's home. She is the lady staying at Sandra's with mom. Sandra going in for 2nd CT today - is being moved to another wing in hospital - physical therapy may be started soon. Tom was over at Hospital - I hope to talk with him this evening for any other details he can give us.
