Good Morning, Vicky - I think that I qualify as an Eagle lover! I went back to other thread and it seems everyone is having a Cold Start this am but that a few lucky ones got to see our special pair who were working in the nest!
Hope everyone comes over soon.
Checking out all the cams takes a while- from eagles to moose to pandas & all the rest. Gao Gao is stomping around his yard this early am in CA. I am looking forward to finding out the official name for Squiggles tomorrow. She'll always be Squiggles just like Buta Buta will always have that name with our group.
Since everything is under control - I am ready for my coffee. BBL

MITS: I was over putting rice in the bowl! Didn't know I remembered so many words - I think it is that I don't use them much anymore!!

OH YEAH JO!!---You have to live in WV to understand how much we love the MOUNTAINEERS----(especially when they are winning) ho!
I like that site, the way the bowl fills up with rice, of course, some times it takes awhile because I don't know the words, but think it might be a good site for some older kids to use and learn vocabulary words.

Norma, Atlanta was on all day Friday, but not much going on, she was sleeping most of the day.

Dana - tell your friend to google Wavelit - it comes right up & they can select what they want from it - wildlife - music - or others. I couldn't get passed the commercials & really took it off my favorite list.

The wind is blowing fairly hard at Pete's, but at least you can see beau coup bats in the air after flying insects, and I saw a pair of sand piper like birds hunting insects after dark ... up on the bank.
And Fatty the crocodile was partially submerged just off shore in the same area ... must have digested that largish catfish he caught about a week ago. Maybe looking for another one.
I've been running more sites, and more video sites, than ever this morning, and Mozilla still hasn't crashed.

I have it up & running now after I had to re-registered. I found it odd to see the BW osprey platform with the eagle visitors as the Pic of the Day on Wavelit.

Well, it was good to see one of our pair again...I have a H of a time telling which is which with these fish-eye lenses. They're enormous close to the lens and about 1/2 the size when at the far end of the nest.

If you have a minute - look at the moose (cow) on the cam.I assume the cows don't get horns..I need to read up on Moose! Pook has really made a Moose Haven in his backyard for these creatures!
Loved the pics of Kent eagle.. I know Loraine is anxious to see them together at the nest. I am so happy that we had this evenings visit with both of our eagles and eating a meal at that!

Surprised me. I wasn't even sure what I saw at first. Then I realized it was an eagle. Jimmy Swan and I walked down the the site where he sees them all the time but nothing. Guess they were out enjoying the sunshine. He thinks the nest is across the creek from his mom's old house and my aunt's because nobody else has found it. Could be back in the woods more towards your place tho. So keep your eyes open when you are there. He believes he may have seen a juvie too but couldn't confirm. Said it looked like an eagle but no white.
With the leaves falling now, he may be able to find the nest. That would be great to know just where it is.
He is pretty sure it isn't on the creek on his side. Everybody has checked their trees. He has seen it fly across the creek and back towards your place so could be either, or he could be seeing different eagles. He is fairly sure he has seen at least 2 adults. He hasn't said a lot to people outside the development because he is afraid somebody will go after them. IE: his stupid brother. Course as far as I am concerned another 10 years in prison wouldn't hurt him LOL

Karla, hope you feel better soon! I had the windows open on Thanksgiving, and guess it got too cool, my cold is trying to come back. Not letting it though, taking Airborne and Zicam (which is HORRIBLE), and hopefully that will help. You're trying to do too much!
