Good morning Sunny. I know when they were incubating the eggs, one would try to put grass on the other's back. Don't know why they do that but it was pretty cute.
Still watching Liberty and Belle and our precious three little eggs. Hoping for a hatchling soon!

Sorry. I didn't mean to make you worry. I haven't seen the eaglet lift it's head at all, unless it's just really tired.
Still no movement that I can see.
What will the parents do if it dies?
Now we can't see anything at all.
I don't know what happens if one dies but I am praying it is just sleeping. More will be revealed.
It looks like the one on the right was just peeking out from under the adult. ???

Okay, I am going to quit worrying now. They are fine. One was hid under the grass. I think last year we had Spunky dead a few times. Getting back on track now . . .

Remember too it is probably 5-10 degrees cooler at BW than here because of the water. And if the wind is blowing off the water it will be even cooler. Momma just trying to keep the little buggers warm. But she doesn't have to scare us. LOL

I wonder if our eggs will take longer to hatch this year than last because of the colder weather?

I see 3 eggs at our nest, going to look at pics I took.

Aw thanks Norma I am glad to know some take time to go back and look. No one knew I was even doing that at this time last year. I was saving it as a surprise for when I knew were were all gonna have to learn how to let go together :). First entry to the guest Book actually was in June...But in our hearts we all know when the first entry was.

BW Eaglets seem to get bigger each time I look at them---VIRGINIA LADY'S nest is a MESS---Food everywhere---Adorable little heads peek out every now & then---I get frustrated when we can't see ours!

NORMA, I was sitting there last night in the panda house after it was locked, in front of Tai's den, And he walked by the window 3 times and looked at me in the eyes, I think he thought I was a trainer with more treats, he is one beautiful panda bear, just like his Mom and Dad. Glad you are home Jo.

There is an Amish Market that is now in the LOng Meadow Shopping Center in Hagerstown. I don't know if that's the one they are talking about or not.
Could be the nasty weather that is forecast that made Lisa cut her vacation short. Hopefully, she'll just take the time off at home.

So that was a gull in the VA nest? I guess they get smellier than the fish...she chucked the gull and it had only been there since last night LOL
She has got to be hearing those chicklets, what with all the looking she is doing at those eggs :)

Just a reminder that anyone can go over to NCTC on Sundays if the gates are open and if 2 guards are on duty 1 will take you into to see the live feed in the lobby they told me. Other wise they will let you go to the road by the Child care center n watch the nest.
