she's staying in one position to keep the eaglets dry and warm. The chicks can get nourishment from their crops (a food-storage organ on their chest), so feeding can wait until the weather improves. te:

Up to re-check our cam again. grrrrr what a :( sad state of affairs this is. Frozen cam. Somebody get their blow torch and go down there and unfreeze the thing. We wanted to see about the chicks in our nest. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr it even has "green lines for St. Patricks Day".
P.S. Dear God I know you have heard this prayer before so many times due to this cam problems. I also know there are more important things than an eagle webcam. Who knows maybe someone watching this webcam it keeps them out of getting into some kind of trouble. So if you can add it to your healing list "this cam is very sick" please heal it. Almighty I ask in the name of Jesus.

Good morning and Happy St. Patrick's Day to all. I had to find something to put on this morning with green in it before the brats started their pinching. Mattie has green eyes so she is always good to go! :):):)
Winter is back. Snowing pretty hard here and the roads are covered. I have juncos, sparrows, cardinals, mourning doves eating this morning. Put extra food out for them. They thought it was spring too! :)

That's nasty, not nastu....Mauley, got the wax during the night. I was going to get up during the night to look at our cam, glad I didn't.
