We had an early briefing with our new Deputy Director and we had the TV in the conference room on the live feed. The eagle pair showed up 10 minutes into the briefing and stayed the whole time, distracting all of us for the remainder of the meeting.

SAD NEWS - Santa Cruz, K10 and K26 have lost an egg. It is broken and laying in the nest. They are down to one egg.

Another site that we have watch is from the DC zoo. The Panda Bears. last year we watched the eagles and the panda everyday. I was just reading that the female panda is getting very close for breading again. So that will be another thing that we here will watch.
Lib is gone. That was Belle in the front of the nest, and Lib at the back.

One legged faker on the Osprey nest! Makes me think it is not the pair from last year....I'd have to check pics, but I don't remember the female doing that very much last year.
Good morning all! It is a teacher workday, so I have taken it off. Thank you Paula and others for all the new pics of Liberty and Belle returning to their nest; fixing it up. I was sooooo excited to think that maybe we might see another egg or eggs soon. I just wish now that they would let us see the live cam. Oh well, I guess I had better be happy when the one cam is working. I am working out in the yard today, but will be sure to check in from time to time to get the latest.
DR. MITS----Have you noticed ME EAGLE seems to have the same "unknown thing" with her----Isn't it her feathers??

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready to get a job at NCTC. Maybe they need someone to monitor the live feed nonstop, I'm available. Or if they need someone to sit outside and stare at the nest all day, I can do that too.LOL probably not...oh well, back outside, what a beautiful day:)

Notice on the Norfolk Site I just saw:
Due to equipment upgrades at the Eagle Cam site, the image will be offline starting 2pm Friday and should be available again Saturday morning.
My VA cam is still working, but the JRB falcon cams are not up.
Hmmm, that's weird! I had it up and then couldn't see it anymore, then saw the notice!

Hey Mits. Best I can tell there was no visit or at least nobody saw it. I have been on and off since 7 and haven't seen anything. It's Friday, maybe Belle and Liberty had a date. LOL

We can only hope. I guess we will know the results of a date in the next week. Or sooner. Maybe they went on one of those baby making cruises I have been seeing on tv. LOL
Good evening everyone. Been out all evening. Mattie won 1st place in the talent show at school. Love that kid. She sang a beautiful song! Voice of an angel for sure but she does show her little horns sometimes. :):):)

Hello, everyone. We just returned from City Hospital, where Mother is in the ICU in heart failure. She is in stable condition, and getting good care. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

I have been watching the nest since about 8:10 and haven't seen anybody. They were probably there earlier.
