Morning everyone!
No Eagle sightings yet on my part, but it does look like they are revamping the egg cup. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Good morning everybody. The egg cup does look different this morning. Looks more grassy.
I thought it looked more grassy too. I have checked in several tiems since 6 am but haven't seen anybody hanging around but they could have been and gone between checks. Why would they be working on the nest if they didn't have something to put in it????????????HUMMMMMM

Good morning all. It doesn't look like too many people up yet. Nothing in the nest yet this morning, but it does look a little softer and getting ready for an egg. I'm with you Jill. With all that comfy stuff in there, I would think that there would be a little one to follow. Let's hope!

WHEW!! I thought we lost a chick at BW!
When I first opened the site, there was gray fluff everywhere, and I could only see the older chick! But finally after a couple of refreshes, the younger one appeared...he had been half under grass and half under his sibling.
Anyone know what the fluff is from?

Finally Mom is there at BW. Still don't know what that stuff is.
I can't imagine what that would be all over the nest at BW. Main eagle nest is swaying in it's tree, and feeding time seems over at Norfolk.
Might have been a grey squirrel or a rabbit.

Good morning normabyrd! Welcome to another beautiful day. Yes, hopefully this will be a day for our nest. Has anyone seen any eagles in our nest this morning yet?
Could the fluff, fur or whatever at BW be from something that they ate already in the mornings feeding?
I think Paula is right, it looks as though they might have had a rabbit or squirrel for breakfast.
Whatever it is, it's great camouflage for the chicks.

Talking about the grass, Sharon and Jill, on my puter, it looks like they've moved a whole bale of grass in this morning and spread most of it around... How's it look on yours??

BW eaglets were up eating, are now passed out again :)
Just dropped by the house for a sec. Does look different than this morning. Don't have time to look at BW to see what the fur is. Could be a raccoon or rabbit. A small fox maybe. Can't think of anything else that wanders the swamps over there. Muskrat but I think they are black.

Good morning everyone. No eagle sightings for me yet this am at nCTC either. I would agree though they have been there and actually Sharon Momster seems to have spotted them. The nest is soft and cush looking...they'll be back very soon I can feel it in my feathers. Have a great day of Eagle viewing , eyes to the skies and NCTC nest as well.
Just heard from Lisa at BW, she says, while they were fixing the cam looks like one of the adult ealges plucked a duck for a meal.:).
Lisa has the update on the eagle cam page now...I love the new view of the osprey cam.

Good Morning Everyone! Our nest looks very inviting to an eagle who would be ready to lay an egg or two! Hope Belle thinks the same. Glad Lisa at BW gave us the heads up of 'duck feathers'. That must have been very confusing for those of you who saw it first thing this morning.

They have changed the ME CAM set- up haven't they?----In their update----they are expecting a hatching soon---(April 9) I think!!!---even though they were off their nest for a while---& had the 2 storms---

Just came in for lunch after working out in the yard for awhile. Glad to hear the problem solved about the BW nest. Also Glad to hear that Sharon saw our eagle couple in the nest this morning and got a pic. Everytime I check back, the nest is empty.

I'm sorry I was so excited I cant even spell. Both eagles showed up at 7:39 EST and stayed for aprox 6-7 minutes. I have been watching all day off and on. A little house keeping and off they went. Looks like they are preparing for company. Hope so.

Good evening everyone. I am glad Liberty and Belle were at the nest this evening. You know, it is just like they never sat on those eggs for 30-some days. It is like they are starting from the beginning. Mother Nature is unbelievable and so are Lib and Belle.
Mattie and I have spent the day spring cleaning. What a chore. I hate cleaning. I am by nature very lazy!! Maybe I shouldn't admit that on here! :):):)
I'm with ya on that one, Sharon, I hate cleaning too!
