Maybe we will use this one when the other gets overloaded.
Ok I leave for 1 minute and sibling shows up...What's with that LOL Off to try to load new page. And for what its worth size tells me it is smaller than last night's visitor. I think it really could be big Boy.
My opinion is that the returnee is the male, the oldest one in age and yes smaller than Ms In Between...which could be some of our sense of confusion or lack of agreement about who is who at times oon here. JMHO
9:35am I find that if you want to blog - click on the previous posts' date instead of the Comments under the current picture. Now let's see if this will publish. DARN!!!! I just missed a take off..........
Who left? Was it Spunky or the other one?
Is any one here.
9:58am I am trying to be here. Comments won't publish for me. I'll try again just to let you know you are not alone! How about the 2 of them lying there side by side taking a rest. Beautiful sibling sight!
Yes I took a picture of that one
10:05am Sharon & Paula are commenting on the previous date.
WE ARE OUT HERE, JUST CAN'T GET ONTO BLOG-SITE ALOT OF THE TIMES, SO I JUST SIT BACK AND WATCH THE EAGLES.
Man they have us TRYING to communicate in three different spots this morning LOL
We need to make a decision about where we are going to blog!
Barbara and I are working on getting the Yahoo group up and running...you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or go to yahoo groups to join...we are listed under science/biology/animals/birds we are on the last page of birds #835 listing...I have sent invites to people on the blog who have an email address on their blogger name...
Hey Momster, keep me informed, I'm off to church won't be back till after 12:00 Illinois time!
Guess we shoud do it here!
Works for me!
sigh OK where would that be? I have copioed my post and pasted in both places a couple of times cause I don't know if it will publish or where anyone is to read it LOL Sharon You must be having such a hard time today...much harder than the first day...Haven't got a clue how you can work and do this too. I have to go get some groceries in a few. Hopefully nothing too big happens OR you all will take pistures and send them my way with info . sigh
my email email@example.com add me!
OK so we are staying here as long as it works OK right,
10:18am I say comment on this Part 2 - it seems to be working smoothly now. I am not going back to the previous & get stuck loading a page again. I just hope everyone sees the count & knows where we are coming from!! What a morning! It's all been technical frustration........... Don't forget there is always email if we need it to communicate.
Done, Vicky, your invite should be arriving shortly.
Yes it has been frustrating and we really don't know which two are in the nest right now. I think its Spunky and Big Boy, but I surely don't know that !!!
OK I'm off to the grocery. Hope if anything exciting happens the camera is working and someone gets a snap of it!!
I found the Yahoo group and joined. Thanks!!!Aren't they just so sweet cuddling?
Or..weren't they sweet?
I have been trying to get some work done while they were resting. Looks like they are up again!!
Was that just a food delivery?
I thought we had a life off there!
Spunky is back at the launching pad!
Looks like Big Boy is eating some brunch
Thank God, Spunky is back at rest, looked like he was going to take off for a minute there...
Okay, has anybody compared the pictures from last night, this morning and now to see if both have returned. I know somebody has got to be doing that. I would be if I wasn't trying to work. Glad things are pretty quiet right now so I can.
11:00am I suggest that Spunky will have one more night in the nest - I am concerned, like Jim, that there are too many little white feathers under those wings - Needs another day for those flight feathers to grow. Could be wrong.....
Well, folks...I am outta here for awhile...need to go throw the ball for the dogs, tend to the garden, and check on Mama Bird ( a robin that is nesting in the yard)Keep the comments coming!
11:11am Look at that! Both adults in the nest
Look now both parents are in the nest feeding the two eaglets. I wish the third would show up.
Both parents in the nest. That is cool.
Wow, what a treat! Was about to log off and caught a pic of Mom and Dad bring in some brunch..looks like Dad is now gone, but Mom has stayed on to feed...
Has anyone been to the Falcon site? They had their first fledge yesterday. Fledge Watch doesn't start until tomorrow!
11:19am Sunny - it's been too exciting on this site for me to leave. I thought about the falcons - but was too late last evening to see anything. I thought you were out on the toe-path today????
Was the falcon fledge successful or do they know?
My, my, what is that laying in the nest? Looks pretty big!
I pulled something in my neck yesterday, and I can barely move today. No bike riding for me.THey think the falcon is on a parking garage roof nearby. Safe and sound, hopefully. Someone is going to check on it today.Happy to see 'our' visitor is hanging around today!
It looks like our visitor is about the same size as Spunky. I think that would make it Big Boy.
Sorry about your neck Sunny.
I was just thinking that too, that it is BigBoy. If that is true and last night's was really InBetween, then that would make both fledges absolutely successful. Wonderful!! I'll take it!
Okay, now which one is Spunky?
11:53am My Guess: Spunky is lying down - his white feathers are showing.BigBoy is on the side at 1:00 probably ready to take off shortly.
11:58am What is or was that gross thing they were trying to eat???
Mom is hanging out for a while again. And, I don't think I want to know what that gross thing was they were trying to eat.
12:11pm Mom/Dad took off. No one followed.
Picture is looking pretty funky again. With all the wings out a minute ago, I would have sworn there were 3 eaglets in the nest but I guess it was just 2 sets of very big wings!
Is he gone or at the base of the tree? Which one is perching? I am so confused.
Nothing, got my answer about being gone. But I am still confused.
I'm back.. trying to watch and maybe get a bLOG or two published, we'll see. I do think we are watching Big Boy and Spunky today. JMHO
hi! I think it's 12:48 pm eaglet time and there's been a sib there for quiite a while...
Okay, I give up......what time is it in eaglet land......am I condused or what!
Hi Geula saw your name on yahoo group last night what time is it where you are now?
I think you are right about the time It is almost 1 pm where the eagles are
OK They've sacked out Everbody go get "something done" LOL
Yes - like work!!
OY! I'm SO confused I can't even spell!
Both younguns are taking a nap side-by-side, and it is apparent they are roughly the same size. So, they are probably the two males (#'s 2 & 3).I wonder if either one of them will leave the nest today...the returnee looks really tired and hungry so far, which makes me think he was separated from #1 by a good distance and wasn't being fed too often.Jim
One eaglet to the other "It is so nice to be home""It is so nice to have you here":-)
awwwww, theyre lying side by side.....how cute!
1:03pm daylight savings time-east coast: Geula: when you post a comment & look at the time of posting, you need to add on 3 hours to get the correct time in eagleland... Hope that helps. Some of us, when making a comment, will state the actual time at the beginning. What time zone are you living in?
gr-r-r-r oooppss sorry that Dexter snuck back up to the keyboard again. Gonna have to start watching the dog instead of the eaglets.
"So Bro, Do you suppose any of these people have a job, or a life? They've been sittin there for days now"!!!"Beat me I know we certainly have to wrok hard and can't just sit around ....flappin our....well you know whatever".
Ok I think I can actually hear someone snoring!!!
hmmmmm, let's see...I'm 1 hour ahead of Holland, so maybe I'm 3 hours ahead of GMT? Gee you ask HARD questions! LOL!!
I am thinking this one that has returned is saying "wait a minute, I ain't going out there anymore. I have my nice comfortable bed here, food catered to me, why would I possibly want to leave here again". To answer one of them, I do have a job but not for long if you guys stay in that nest much longer. LOL.
OK, Geula, It's about 10.20 a.m. Pacific Time, and 1:20 p.m. Eastern Time in the U.S. now. What time do you have at home?Jim (in California)
Okay, maybe not. Looks like he is getting ready to be outtahere again.
Model "B" is doing his flight exercizes again and then roosting on the take off bar, so..........Jim
Oh man, work was going so much better while they were sleeping!!
1:32pm Guess it was decided to stay with the nap - no need to hurry off & maybe they'll bring in some free food!
It's gotta be easier for the parent birds to feed young in two sites than in 3 sites, and the youngest seems to appreciate the company. But it looks like the older one is hogging the majority of the food again, and it's harder to find flight practice space now. Also, there's less motivation now for the last one to take that flight to be with the rest of the family. So far the parent eagles have been able to care for 3 eaglets, let's hope Mother Nature shows them how to continue to feed and train so many....Jim
It is truly a rough life, but some eaglets have to live it!!
What do you think about giving the eaglets names to distinguish them??Like "Adelle," "Benson" and "Charles."Just an idea....Jim
Gr-r-r-r-r Dexter..quit that!!OK Think its time for a little dog nap here. I'll be back in a couple of hours. pictures please please if anything exciting happens. Thaks so much
Hey Gang, Checking in and see that Spunky still has company. They are laying down resting. The weather is beautiful skies are clear and slight wind here in WV. I really thought for sure Spunky would be gone, but glad he isnt for now. Jo please send me your phone number in e-mail as i cant find it .. I am at the store and will be here for alittle while doing computor work. The falcon's in Harrisburg, 1 did fledge, you can go to there web site and see pictures as he was on a garage close by setting. More later ,Nilla
Jim, I am so used to their names that had been given previously that I don't know if I could do new names -- i.e. BigBOY, MS. InBetween and Spunky!!
Ditto here, pictures please!! Have to leave firstname.lastname@example.org
2:13 p.m. Parent back with more food I think.
Nice to see that Spunky has had company today...looks like Big Boy is ravished!
Maybe he's having a little trouble in the hunting department. Hehe.
You know how kids are, think they are ready for the great big world and then coming running back home for rest and food!!
I'm glad Spunky has company today too. And several parent visits too! The Yahoo group is set up and functioning. Paula has even put in 'links' to the various webcame sites, Glo's blog, and other information of interest! Members can post to the group and everyone gets the message. If you can't find the group, you can e-mail to Paula at the addy she posted or e-mail me at email@example.com and we'll send you an invite. As for the fledglings coming home and getting a good meal: the parents will be training them on hunting and fishing for 4-6 weeks. It's no wonder in their first week that they aren't too good at it yet! Won't it be great after they are all flying if one comes home and brings food to share?
Barbara, that would be too awesome, to feed their siblings. Does that ever happen? That would be a spiritual experience for me for sure!!
Holy cow! it's really quiet in here.
So can anyone tell me what happened, i haven't been around much, a sibling came back? and then was gone in the morning from what i gather, and then came back again??? are we sure it's the SAME sibling or perhaps a different one? and if it's the same one has there been sightings of the third, becuase i have to admit, only seeing one and not the other at all is midly disconcerning.Update?
Anonymous, we think the sibling there last night was Ms. InBetween the one in the nest all day today has been BigBoy.
I just want to tell these children that I am grateful for a quiet afternoon. I am actually getting off work on time today!! Yeah rah!!
I have been watching this whole process from the beginning. It would be good to have some expert info on who came back and perhaps why. Have noticed that spunky seems less active today since his sib is back. That could be good or bad. I think the sib who is back may not have gotten that far; maybe just below the nest since spunky was always looking down. Anyhow what a great experience to share with fellow eagle watchers. First time I have written, but it feels like I know many of you through your comments.
4:30 P.M. IS THAT ALL THREE I SEE IN THE NEST RIGHT NOW?
All three eaglets are in the nest right now!! Thank God, Praise the Lord!!!
All the eaglets are there now.
LOL I'm with you on the one Sharon. For some a hope a wish or an answered prayer!!!
I stopped in and see all 3 eaglets in nest. Did Spunky ever fledge?????
Good time to see sizes up close once again. This is so very neat!!! Spunky knew this all along you know lOL
Quick!! Somebody save some photos!!! We are sure now that both BigBoy and Ms InBetween are safe and healthy!!! And to whomever just asked -- no, Spunky has not fledged yet.
4:38pm DO YOU BELIEVE IT ???All of our three grown babies' reunion! Now who is who - you surely can tell from this setting. HAPPY! HAPPY! We kept the FAITH.
Maybe they are there to encourage Spunky to fly with them. Bother and Sister taking care of each other. Thank you Bar in Maine letting me know Spunky hasn't fledge yet.
Look how nasty that picture is again. We are back at square 1 again. I have to go out for a while. Keep a close "eagle" eye on them and post the happenings, as I know you will.
4:46pm Just sent the pic out to many of you - anyone I didn't include, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org & I will forward the pic of all 3 in the nest.
OMG!!! I never thought I'd see the three of them together again! This is also an excellent indiction that the two who have fledged are perfecting their flying skills. It's got to take quite a bit of precision to be able to navagate up and through the branches to land on the nest. How I wish there was a video of the RETURN!!
Jo, if you will look, I sent you one first, hah hah! Wonderful, wonderful. Now I don't want to leave but have to!
Oh My Gosh! Oh My Gosh! All are alive and well!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Jo, for the notice. I was reading e-mails, and might not have noticed.
Looks like MsInBetween might be leaving again.
4:54pm Yep! Your fingers are just like Glo's - Too fast for this ole' gal. Thanks for the pic! I have an entire folder just for Spunky......
5:03pm Be great if Mom/Dad would bring in dinner. Like Jim said - easier to feed them all in one spot. The adults probably sent them back to the nest to get some rest! Looks like Spunky is saying , 'ok, you two - watch me - is this what I have to do to get out of here tomorrow ? '
All 3 are back in the nest
OMG! ALL THREE BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is truly amazing, all 3 again!!! Who would have thought we'd get to see this!
Spunky still looks awfully "small" compared to the other two. So So HAPPPPPY that we got to see the other 2 are flying well enough to make it back to the nest. Ahhhhhhhhhhh Thank You God for taking care of the Eaglets......
Hi everyone, looks like our babies all came home for Sunday Dinner! It really is so exciting to see all three together again. IrisF in PA
What a great set of eagle parents we have here, two successful fledges. I can't believe all 3 are in the nest....would be really neat if both parents arrived, too.I think we will be seeing many more successful breeding seasons from this pair.
Ok from top to bottom - Spunky, Inbetween, and Big Boy 5:17 pm
Now Spunky at 1, Big boy at 4, Ms Inbewtween at 9 5:19pm
AWESOME!!!!Well, "Fun Facts" did say they usually return to the nest or to limbs of the nest tree...should make it a lot easier for the parents to locate them for feeding and training. One downside, the youngest one really isn't aggressive enough grabbing food for himself yet, and he really needs room for his prefledging exercises. Maybe it would be better if the fledglings didn't spend all their time in the nest now.Jim
I think there is only 2 in the nest now
Yeah, the Big Gal flew back the way she flew the first time (follow the eyes of the other two), and it looked like Mr. Inbetween was about to follow. He's flaked out in the nest again though, so he probably 'ain't goin nowhere.'Jim
Looks like Ms Inbetween is hanging out with Lil Bro' Spunky
Parent just popped in and out real quick, may have brought dinner...looks like Ms Inbetween is eating...
Looks like spunky is doing some wing stregnth training.
Big Boy is back, all 3 again 5:56pm
There's still three, maybe one was really hiding under the branch? If not, they really have this flying thing down pretty good. Just ho-hum, come and go as we please thank you! What a treat this whole adventure has been for us all! Iris
Anonymous, I thought for sure Spunky was outta here, he was hovering over the nest!
You are absolutely right, Iris. What an awe-inspiring, humbling ride it has been - being able to watch Mother Nature at her finest.I certainly feel privileged to have been able to see it all.
Hello, Has anyone been on the falcon site lately? I was just there and didn't see any of the babies. Just curious.
checked on the falcons a couple hours ago and only saw 3
6:17pm I looked earlier & saw 3 resting by the pole - but everywhere else was empty. They said one fledged & landed on another roof or something & someone is going to check it out...One of our Eaglet-momsters knows more then I do - but I would need to read back in the remarks to tell you just who it is.
I visited the Peregrines in Harrisburg a while ago, and managed to see 4 chicks, but that's the first time lately. Many look almost like the adults now.Jim
Thanks for the info. I hadn't been to the site for a few days and it looked very empty when I had went there today.ThanksLisa
6:41 p.m. Just popping in and out real quick. Just see 2 babies now but how wonderful it is that we know all three are okay. Keep up the good notes! Be back around 8:30 or 9.
to all part of the eaglet momsters group: I posted the very few pictures i had time to take from the cam..... please add yours to the photo album or... Make your own photo album so we can all enjoy the baby pictures!! :)
Awwww...Spunky is all alone again, at about 7:35.
7:32pm Wasn't looking at the right time but I only see Spunky now in the nest.
Just saw an update on the Falcon site. Fledgling #1 has been seen flying from building to building, and either Mom or Dad is sticking very close by. Fledge Watch starts at dawn tomorrow. This girl just couldn't wait until then!
Cool your jets Spunky, stay home till we get the live cam! PLEASE!!!
I took a nap & missed the show----can anyone send pics-----My email is email@example.com----Would make me very happy---I am glad no one told these kids "YOU CAN'T GO HOME AGAIN"!!!!
8:00 Spunky was all alone, and on the launch pad. He finally stepped away. phew!
you have mail Norma!
norma you got mail
8:10pm Norma - you got lots & lots of mail..........Enjoy. Next request that comes in - you get it Glo.......
8:13pm Spunky is a beautiful eaglet sitting there - tomorrow is her day!!!
LOL I can 't promise. Just happened to see that one and knew I had some I sent a couple. Like you I have so many from Yesterday and today. Back to work tomorrow. Company just left. Need to feed dogs, walk dogs and feed me LOL Watch out things happen when I leave the computer LOL
Wow i got some great pictures of spunky hovering... he's getting ready for sure.
we just need a coupl eof things NOT night time...live cam and breakfast LOL
8:34pm How can one little eaglet make for such big heart failures. If Spunky doesn't soon tire out & settle down - I'm going to have to go out on the deck for a breather. Spunky is so getting ready for the big day. Looks so determined! That's why the name Spunky!! I just wish I knew which launch pad is going to be used.
he's settled back down. prolly tired himelf out. I bet his siblings are heckling him from another branch which is why he's being so active. trying to get ready....
OOOPs I deleted the post time for when Big Boy left The correct time was 7:29 eagle time Just don't want to intentional confuse anyone !Sorry bout that
Camera picture is horrible.
9:11pm Until the Dawn's early light when there will be the third flight! Goodnight. LOL Jo
SIGH OK well not really too much to see or watch now I guess. Sure hope that little guy spends the night and sticks around for a while in the am. Sure wish a sib was ther. At least we all know that they all know they are around that is wonderful Might be signing off for tonight.
Okay everybody, where are my pictures?
Sharon. you have email. I told you where I posted today's pictures.
Hi Gang, Just checking in again, hard to see whats in the nest right now but looks like Spunky. So keep the post coming so i know whats happened during the day, Good Back To Work Monday for all who works..lol Hugs, Nilla
Nilla, how could you go to Hershey Park and have fun at a time like this? LOL. Have a wonderful day and we will keep you up to date on all the happenings. I am really hopeful we will have live feed before Spunky goes. If we do, me and Fraps will be ready!!I am officially a member of eaglet_momsters!! Yeah. I needed something else to do besides work! LOL. What a joy it has been today to see all our babies doing well. I am really grateful for that. Going to bed now. Will be on at least by 6:30 in the morning with a watchful eagle eye. Hope nothing happens before then!! Good night all.
Looks like Spunky is pretty wiped...you know how it is when the family comes to visit!
I'm going to sign off for tonight also, Gnite Eaglets! and Eaglet Watchers!
11:13 p.m. This picture is absolutely horrible. I pray Steve fixes this and the live feed for us in the morning. Good night everybody! Spunky is still in the nest though.
He is up at the top of the nest though and not laying down.
5:13 a.m. Baby's still in the nest. Alone now. He's grown in the past couple days.
6:33 a.m. Spunky is getting close to the launching pad.
6:35 a.m. Spunky is at the launching pad this morning. Just seems to be looking around. Today just might be the day. I hope we get the live feed before he goes.
He is looking down over the edge. I bet his brother and sister are under there again!!
I'll bet they are too......just tempting Spunky to join them.
I am going to have a heart attack this morning. I really feel this is going to be the day. I am shaking all over!
Now he is leaning over the edge at 9 o'clock. Must be somebody under there for sure.
Good morning everyone, made it in before 6 am my time today. Have a dentist appt before I go to work . There's our buddy.
Good morning! I'm checking in before work, and Spunky is stgill herel Very active. 6:50. I expect he[ll be gone before I get to work and get the computer back on at about 8:15
I'm leaving for work now. I hope he doesn't leave before I get there to see it.Kathy
I am just grateful I work from home but don't know how much I will get done. Can't quit watching Spunky. There is no doubt my production will greatly improve once he fledges too!
live cam is up!
Looks like Spunky just got breakfast served. Do they think he is not ready yet? Another baby back too!! They are definitely following the food. Looks like BigBoy and he already has the fish. He needs to let Spunky eat a little bit!!
Live cam really is up!!! Yeah rah!!
Who is that visiting? Looks like Big Boy.
Suzanne, I think it is BigBoy too. He followed the food in! They ain't stupid for sure. Or, maybe he brought the food in. Probably not because a parent came at the same time. The live feed picture has lines going all through it but I am grateful to have anything of it this morning.
Ok, thought it was just the still pic. Maybe Big Boy will share the meal then give Spunky flying lessons. He's been practicing this morning!
At least they're both eating!
Thanks to whoever got our live feed up and running this morning. I have Fraps ready and waiting for the big moment. Is there anything that can be done to clear up the picture a little bit. I know, I know, never happy. Thanks again for the live feed.
BigBoy needs to share that food. Spunky needs all the energy and growth he can get. He should just take charge and go get some!!
All three in the nest again. I am saving this little snippet on Fraps for sure. The filmed return of the 2 fledges!! Yeah. Looks like Spunky did get to eat a bit before Ms. InBetween arrived to finish it off!
Just got to work (8:05 a.m.) and all three babies are there again! I think everyone is right, today is gonna be Spunky's day!
Hi this is Boniie from norfolk, va..all 3 together again!
Three in the nest again!!!!
sorry, thats Bonnie...lol
Ok, Now. Who's who?
Spunky is at 1 o'clock, BigBoy at 11 o'clock and Ms. InBetween is eating at 5 o'clock. Just my opinion.
good morning all! good to see all 3 in the nest...I'm a mother=I worry!
Spunky was born 5 days after the first (March 18th it fledged June 7th) so today is the 5th day after the 1st on fledged so it good be today. Hope he comes back too to show us he is okay after he fledges like the other 2 has. Exciting; with different emotions here as you others have too.
does everybody else have a bad webcam feed, or is it just me?
It is so wonderful to see all three eaglets in the nest again. a couple of times I thought Spunky was on his way. He can sure make the heart flutter.
who is doing all the wing-flapping???????
Was that Spunky that just took off .... my picture didn't take???????????

Apologies for my neglect on this site. I'm thinking that it might be time to conclude this blog, as I started it before the social me...
