Belle is tucked again. I think Belle will stay on the eggs more as she knows a hatch is so close.
good morning eagle people!
just have a few minutes .... have to admit getting up at zero dark thirty this morning felt pretty evil! i have a class 8 a.m. to noon. maybe???? a nap????? sometimes i have a hard time with that.
i keep peeking in....see if we have any babies yet. am excited about this.
had a class yesterday from 8 to noon as well. it was a small class, but powerful just the same. i love it when people are inspired and "get it". we finished up about noon. this was the American Massage Therapy Association spring conference....so there was lunch, which was yummy. And of course a business meeting.
I stayed for most of it; but my grandbabies were waiting for me. i picked them up @ 2. we went home and grabbed Tom and Livvy and went to the park from about 3:30 til 5. they played on their scooters and on the equipment.....and then when we came home, they jumped on the trampoline and played in the back yard til dinner time. i had two tired kids at bedtime!
my daughter picked them up after the hockey game. she and chris had gone downtown to a predators game. they played the redwings last night. hockey is a great sport. it was on tv but i was too tired to watch. i was asleep before they got here.....tom was still up thankfully!
i am off tomorrow. i have a full list of things to do. mostly indoor, but it will be nice to sit and finally finish writing those classes and email them off to maj lis. (owns the school where i teach) and get some paperwork done. when i finish this...time to think about painting the dining room...he he he.
have a fabulous day to one and all. will try to touch base later, if not, tomorrow.

LORI, I am recovered, though happy that Bella let me sleep in today!! Thanks to everyone for the positive comments on the photos. Denny's copies are even better b/c he has more sophisticated photo editing software than I do, but I spent some time cropping and adjusting color, brightness, and contrast before I uploaded them to Photobucket. I was surprised how much can be done to improve an already good photo!
Bob Quinn's presentation was excellent and his photos are out of this world!!

Sounds like a day to get outside, though not as warm here b/c of the ocean - only upper 50s.
Hopefully the sun will be out in full force and warm this house up!! I'm waiting..

I forgot about the morning light being later, was just looking forward to the extra evening light.
Sandi, love the pictures. Must have been hard to decide where to point the camera with all the variety surrounding the two of you.
Magpie, no aroma to the recipes, BUT I'm sure they are all calorie-free, and some even have a few chuckles as added ingredients.
Glad to see Lynn has been able to eat. Tiredness is a definite side effect of chemo. Dad always said he was "tired down to his soul" when he was on chem. Napped alot. Allowing yourself to nap whenever needed is so hard for the Lady of the House. They always are fretting about what "should be done". Hope Lynn just goes with the flow, rests, and allows things to go undone without stressing for the time being.
Crows have arrived at the deer feeder cawing loudly, think its empty as 6 deer made repeat visits last evening.

CarolAnn my dad also complained during Chem of being tired. They checked his blood count and it was low and gave him medication and it got better...

Belle poofs! It looked like grass in his talons, not food, and Belle didn't eat anything before she took off. Shep rearranged a stick and now he has settled on the eggs.

Sandi or Linda, or anyone else who gets the emails for this blog in your mail where is the subscribe by mail box? I set up gmail on my phone and I've gone into my account and I can't find anything and I'm not getting the blog in my mail! Help. I want to know the minute we have an eaglet!

got it back but not on Firefox. I tried signing out and signing back in didn't work.
DMO, For the past 8-9 days, since the blog's appearance changed and the box hasn't been there to check to send comments to my email inbox, SHARON has been signing in as me from her cell and checking the box for me, since I can't do it from my ancient cell (though I am seriously considering upgrading my phone, even without being eligible for a discount!!). So SHARON could tell you exactly how she does it. Before the blog changed, when the comment box was in the top right corner of the screen, the box to check was directly under the comment box. Have you checked your spam folder to see if the posts went there?
Just checked on NBG nest - they now have a female #4 on the scene!! There was also a link to a video showing an intruder at the Richmond nest while the male was incubating their 2 eggs. All these nest intrusions - a sign that the eagle population is healthy, which is good. Still, very unsettling for the humans who watch all these nests!
