Oh No! 200 approaches......

magpie said...

well we did it

SPLIT

magpie said...

We shall really appreciate that extra hour of daylight tonight !!!

Linda said...

Love your imagination, Margy! ♥

Mema Jo said...

I did get the cam back up.....
Shep is there

magpie said...

This does work for me, and maybe for you too

If you want to go back and read something on THAT side of 200, and you hit Older
then to come back, hit the back arrow and you will be HERE

Hoda said...

Oh MARGY I well remember the beef broth!!! in comparison to jello I thought it was a feast!!! I understand.

Yes JO the soup was very filling with rye crackers and Gruyere cheese to follow my lunch was very filling...

Linda said...

Dubby is BANGING studs in the basement (working on finishing some walls in one part), Opie (the kitty) has been summoned up to my office because he is driving Dennis crazy, and Riley is freaking out knocking my keyboard over and trying to get in my lap................all while I am trying to complete tax returns......

Grrrrr this is NOT working!!

I am getting a headache, too!

CALGON..... take me away!

magpie said...

Sounds mighty good Hoda...
Always enjoy your meal descriptions

Thanks Linda...there IS something about the simplicity of this that appeals to me...

Agree with that Jo, about Shep's identifying "Handsome Mark" on his forehead...

okay, quietness from me now for awhile...
xox ♥

Linda said...

Wow, Hoda!! I guess peanut butter and jelly isn't ever on your menu for lunch!! You have such healthy and amazing meals!!

Lori O. said...

LOL, Margy. So sorry. At least you have a good attitude! :)

Linda said...

Yes, we do miss FLORALFIRL!! She brightens our days.....

Wish she could stay.....

Linda said...

NOT FLORALFIRL.....FLORALGIRL!!!!

Sorry Megan!!!

Kay said...

Ha ! The only thing better than that would be Beer Froth, MARGY !

That is one healthy soup you concocted, HODA ! Sounds good !

I agree about Shep's spot for ID purposes. Mother Hornby is an old gal and still has a black spot on the back of her head. Made it so easy to decide which parent was on the nest.

paula eagleholic said...

Finally got the live feed back up...can't adjust the volume, have those pause, forward and rewind buttons like someone else mentioned awhile back.

Updated my FF and did some other adjustments....

paula eagleholic said...

HaHa just read on the previous side about cam issues....maybe mine just started earlier than everyone else!

paula eagleholic said...

I could get to the cam page, but it wouldn't ever finish loading.

Kay said...

MARGY, are you drinking Gatorade or something of that ilk ? We don't want your "electric lights" to off ! ♥

Lynne2 said...

just got a call from MIL about a half hour ago, they had just crossed into North Carolina.

Lynne2 said...

oh I hear a redbellied woodpecker near the nest!

Hoda said...

Gracious me!!! It is snowing in Nelson BC.Time to close the windows I think!!!!

Lynne2 said...

she was checking to see if Wendy's boyfriend called me. he has my number as a back up in case he can't reach her on her cell. she said he was supposed to call her early this afternoon and has not. wonder what that means??

Mema Jo said...

You know how we can Jam our Finger -
I think Shep jammed his wing feather!
Thankful he can fly well

Mema Jo said...

Lynne - it could mean that he has a
job and will be there later.....
Think positive, Gal! ♥

Kay said...

LYNNE, sounds like they are making good time. When do you estimate they'll arrive in Jacksonville ?

Mema Jo said...

Taking a break....
Stay safe Shep....

Come on bobble heads - talk to your
daddy! ♥

Hoda said...

LINDA, I love Peanut Butter and jam sandwiches...Unfortunatley if I so much as walk past a peanut butter jar I put on the weight...My AFS year my American Mother Betty, had to put me on a diet because I gained thirty pounds off of peanut butter and Jam saqndwiches. I was limited to only three a week!!! I found it a hardship!!!LOL...The Health food store here has the most wonderful peanut butter made from scratch and with only peanuts...almost as good as their delicious Mocha brownies dessert. I could just have qa spoon full if it was in the flat on a regualr basis...I like it with honey too...

Sandi said...

Hi all, home from school and then floor tile choosing, and then grocery store! Since I went by myself, Dennis has agreed to put all the groceries away (grocery store is usually a joint effort) so I can sit and watch. Now, if I could just get him to agree to fix dinner!

HODA, your lunch made my stomach growl - sounds delish!

MARGY, your lunch did NOT make my stomach growl! =)

Gotta head over to FB and thank Steve for the zoom - I love it!

BRB!

Linda said...

Well, GOOD ON YOU, HOda for eating so healthy!! I am sure it will pay off in the long run!

PB is good for you, too!! It gives me heartburn sometimes.

Hoda said...

LYNNE 2 praying for you and Steve as he travels towards Florida that the news be positive and some healing occurs. The friend could be at work like JO said...

stronghunter said...

Good afternoon.

FuzzleMT said...

Lynne2 said...

they aren't even half way just yet Kay. ETA is 2am. It's about 13 hours from here, give or take....765 miles to Jacksonville where the hospital is, 20 miles from there to Wendy's house where they will be staying. Rush hour now, hard to say what traffic they'll hit.

hedgie said...

Got my "hands on healing" session a little while ago from Chelly.....and Christie, too. Some nice healing prayers. Sipping on a Tropical Smoothie....and now ready for nap. BBL.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Hello Hedgie! I see you this time! :)

Linda said...

Good On You, LYNN

Rest well, my friend...

Lynne2 said...

I don't think Lee would have told mom that he was going to call her, knowing how worried she is, if he were not going to be able to do so.

I'm thinking that it was odd that the guy at the hospital wanted to have my phone number "in case we need to reach you", given that I don't have the PASSWORD and he wasn't forthcoming with too much information.

I can't concentrate on anything.

Kay said...

Thanks, LYNNE. I'm praying for their safety and hope they arrive to find Wendy off the critical list.

Lynne2 said...

wondering too, if Shari's arse is out of the pokey. She said she was getting sprung at 1:30 this afternoon Fla. time. Guess not...no one has heard from her, either.

Hoda said...

AWESOME NEWS LYNN
Thank you for letting us know...smoothie sounds good too...

paula eagleholic said...

HOda, you could always pick up snack size PB, in individual containers.

Kay said...

LYNN, a "hands on healing session" ? I'll pray for positive results ! A Tropical Smoothie sounds soooo good ! {{{{{Lynn}}}}}

Lynne2 said...

HAHAHAHAAHA! Just realized what I typed! Don't know WHY I said that. Hello my name is Lynne and my favorite color is CLEAR!!!

I was going to delete, but thought you'd get a laugh out of that!

Lynne2 said...

wow Lynn, Healing Hands, a tropical smoothie and a nap....sounds WONDERFUL!

Sandi said...

LYNNE2, I bet you can't concentrate on anything!! Poor you!

KAY, sorry to hear about your granddog Sammy!

LYNN, enjoy your nap! Think I'm having sausage gravy and biscuits for dinner tonight using the recipe you sent to me - I will be thinking of you and RED! =)

Lynne2 said...

I am analyzing Sheppie's wing...looks like the very end flight feathers are missing from this angle. Hmmm...maybe lost in a valiant defensive move?

Kay said...

LYNNE, how old are Shari and Wendy, if I'm not out of line for asking. They sound like errant teenagers, but I'm guessing they're older than that. It's so hard to watch loved ones take the wrong path and have such struggles.

magpie said...

Wonderful, Lynn...the Hands on Healong and the Tropical Smoothie...
AND your daughter and her friend ♥

magpie said...

I hear the Red-Bellied at the nest too

Yes, Lynne, as many are saying..keep Postive thoughts...

Kay said...

Good eye, LYNNE. I hope that wing doesn't make it difficult for him to ward off intruders.

magpie said...

been downing Apple Juice with Vitamin C, Kay
the Gatorade comes later :(
with a special brew added in
It might be frothy

Lynne2 said...

Shari is 48, I think, and Wendy will, God willing, be 50 in May.

Shari has long struggled with alcohol. years of sobriety, then an episode like this.

Wendy's problems are more involved. A bad car accident and a severe leg injury resulted in addiction to pain meds, and a successful "getting off" period. But she wasn't well, and many doctors and much testing later revealed she has Devic's disease. Very painful. Back on pain meds. It has been a very difficult few years, especially the past two.

Having said that, we of course only know what goes on down there from they CHOOSE to tell us, or what one chooses to tell on the other!

Shari has always been a wild and free spirited person. Wendy is as sweet and kind a girl as you could ever want to know.

Kay said...

Thanks, SANDI ! I wish I had a better pic of Sammy. He's mixed breed, of course--long hair doxie and something with longer legs ??? He's been a great pet and he's had a good life with His People.

Judie said...

Quick visit before heading off to the scullery.

Wowser: Another visit from Lynn. Sounds as if you had a very nice afternoon of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Lynne2, so sorry for all the stress and difficulties. Steve will be fine and I'm sure you will be contacted as soon as reasonable.

Thank you Lolly for the Tori update. Just cannot get over her amazing progress.

Hoda, may I have your peanut butter? Thanks for the Hancock video as I missed the fish delivery.

Kay, I think almost every one of us can empathize with your family's sadness about Sammy. Always such a difficult time.

Lynne2 said...

Hoping I can get a look at Shep when he flies off. Those missing flight feathers would not have molted, they must have been torn or broken off.

Lori O. said...

Kay, your granddog is adorable...poor little guy. Big Hugs. ♥

Lynne2, so sorry for all the family trouble and I'm sure you're missing, Steve. Prayers for all.

Glad you got your cam back, PAULA!

HODA, loved your PB story!

LYNN, so glad you sound happy with your healing hands therapy. Booster prayers for good measure! Big Hugs, girlfriend!

magpie said...

Nice to see that Cardinal again, Judie...

Shirley, did you get sound back yet ??

magpie said...

Shep sure does look a little asymmetrical...

we have been noting a "fin-like" to that one right wing for a little while

Kay said...

Oh, my, LYNNE, I read up on Devic's and it has to be hell for its victims. Poor, poor Wendy. I'm sure your mil is so glad to have a strong and stalwart son in Steve as well as a loving dil like you ! One daughter with such a dibilitating disease and the other with the illness such an addiction is. My heart goes out to her ! ♥♥♥

Hoda said...

PAULA!!! Snack size peanut butter? Iam laughing...I do not think I could just do with one...a delightful thought all the same...I have never seen them so will be on the look out for them and see what happens...

magpie said...

I know WV sUSAn had a link to some information about that sort of thing but I hate to admit I never opened it up yet...
sorry Susan....it's not that I didn't care...
so could you maybe post that again, the site address
Please and Thanks

Kay said...

You're right, JUDIE, I know almost everyone can relate to the pain that goes along with the loss of a pet. Early today Eileen called her boss to tell her she'd be off for the morning to take Sammy to the vet, but in for the afternoon. Her boss told her to take the day off as a sick day, "it is making you sick, isn't it ?" That's a woman who knows about pet ownership !

Lori O. said...

Kay, yes, Eileen's boss is wonderfully understanding. That's heartwarming.
Wish I would have had such bosses in the past!

Lynne2 said...

Kay, it was awful for her when she didn't know what was happening to her. It took a very long time as there was much red tape trying to get disability and medical assistance. So it was a relief to KNOW what if was, finally, even though THAT is what it is.

Very cool of Eileen's boss, by the way.

Lynne2 said...

just watch Shep and now it looks as if there are no feathers missing now from this angle. Hmmmm

Lynne2 said...

he looks so....SWAN like!

Kay said...

Yep, but that right wing is definitely "sprung". Hope it's something that goes back into place and heals well.

Lori O. said...

Did anyone see the eggs when he turned around?

Kay said...

Not I. :(

magpie said...

I didn't Lori because I was in another room
:(

magpie said...

LOL
we're falling down on the job !

Lynne2 said...

briefly but not enough of a look to notice anything. He isn't acting like anything is going on just yet.

Lori O. said...

lol...I was feeding the dogs. Back to egg waiting/watching.

Kay said...

MARGY, I'm with you in spirit. I have my standard 3 month check up with my Primary tomorrow at 11. I must fast so the blood work for Diabetes can be run. Not nearly as icky as what you're going through, but I will have nuttin' but water sips after midnight. She says I can take my pain meds, thank goodness.

Lynne2 said...

we are going to get fired from egg duty.

Lori O. said...

LYNNE2, cool that your avatar is an oval shape...easy to spot...and pretty!

Kay said...

LORI, isn't there special dispensation for us under the eggstrordinary circumstances clause ?

paula eagleholic said...

Kay, Eileen does have a wonderful boss. Sorry to hear about Sammy.

I think that is just the way Shep likes to put that wing...the other day, he did have the left one like that. I haven't noticed any missing feathers.

Heading to Wally world and then home...catch ya later!

Lynne2 said...

thanks Lori! I'll be changing to my St Paddy's Day avatar later in the week though!

Lori O. said...

You do have a way with words, Kay!

Kay said...

Thanks for the reminder, LYNNE ! Are you Irish---I mean aside from the fact that every one is Irish on St. Patrick's Day ? I am, for the most part, Irish on my maternal side and Dutch on my paternal side of the tree.

wvgal_dana said...

Very nice Eileen's boss said to take the whole day off. Such a nice person he sounds like and understanding.

I had a nice panda nap.

Hope Lynn has a nice one after her Tropical Smoothie.

Judie said...

Bite size peanut butter treats? Is that anything like bite size cheesecake pieces? Well, those just became one big cheesecake to be eaten one followed by another. Won't do THAT again.

Eileen does have a very understanding boss. Never experienced that kindness from a boss.

Okay, Hoda, this one's for you -- kale for dinner (please don't tell Lynn). 'Course it's cooked the good way -- southern style.

Shep still on duty. He's turning out to be quite a nice young dad to be.

wvgal_dana said...

Yes Judie I can see what your saying about those "bite size pieces". Going going GONE!

Kay said...

LOL, JUDIE ! Bite size cheese cake treats---patent that idea and let's work on making it happen !

I love Kale ! Shhh, hope LYNN isn't listening.... What is Southern style Kale ?

You're right, Shep is stepping up the the plate,er, er, cup. It's so grand to watch Mother Nature kick in and show us this wonderful ability her wild lovelies have !

magpie said...

I have a recipe for mini-cheesecakes
they cook up in those little muffin tins
very delicious
let's change the subject LOL ☺

magpie said...

maybe I should learn to make mini Key Lime Pies !!

magpie said...

Kay
pretty neat
I'm half Dutch, quarter English,
quarter Irish
and 100% American as James the Wise Kidster says...

Just found my St Patricks Day T-shirt it'll be worn later in the week...by me I supppose

magpie said...

Bravo on Eileen's Boss...
She gets MY vote too....♥

there go the donkey geese

Hoda said...

JUDIE, You understnd cheese cake and peanut butter are not done in bite sizes!!! AND you are having KALE for dinner...wait up, I am on my way to your house for supper it sounds delicoius...if it is cooked southern stylke it is fried am I right? I love kale, I have never fried it but it is DELICIOUS.

I am praying for your sisters in law and Steve's family LYNNE and you are right about the wing observations no feathers seem to be missing from this angle. I learn a lot from your posts.

My organic oranges have a stamp on them USDA...I take that to mean US Department of Agriculture...would I be correct in my thinking? They come from California.

Lynne2 said...

Well Kay, my maiden name is Johnston, which is a very common surname in Northern Ireland, and many N. Irish are of Scottish descent. My maternal grandpap's parents hailed from County Cork Ireland. My maternal grandma had an Irish father, too. His grandfather was a hangman in Ireland, so I have been told. My former mother and her husband did a lot of genealogical research and were able to trace the family on her side back pretty far.

Lynne2 said...

Yes Hoda! That is what that means!

I just accidentally discovered that if you put your cursor on the very bottom right corner of this box that you type in, you can make the box REALLY BIG!

wvgal_dana said...

They are about to show on Diane Sawyer how they brought an ape (I think or gorilla) out of being depressed.

Mema Jo said...

Just finished dinner

Shep flies great - his wing is not a
deterrent.

Lynne - can you get a trip outside with
the dogs - clear your head a little -
I'm worried about you and all your worrying ♥
Kay - so very sorry about Sammy

Keep drinking that stuff Margy

Just remembered the accountant is coming at 7 to go over our taxes ... ♫ dum da dum dum ♫!! Can't wait!

LYNNE, why would anyone want to make that box bigger, I wonder? For the record, I had never noticed that either, but just tried it b/c you suggested it.

I'll be back after the tax man cometh!

TTFN!

Lynne2 said...

I had them out a little while ago Jo. I had hoped to take Daisy alone out to the field for a run and play, but Puddles blew a fuse when I tried to leave without her. I am leash walking her only for the next little while as she has suddenly become unable to jump...onto the sofa, or the bed, or even up on us. I can't find a source of pain. So, if resting her for a couple of days doesn't help, I'll take her to work for a check up. She is fine otherwise.

Mema Jo said...

Sandi - it is Alcatraz tonight!
Then I suppose you watch/tape SMASH.

Alcatraz has grown on us and we are
enjoying watching. Can't imagine what
the end of season show will be like

Hoda said...

Thanks LYNNE --- USDA

magpie said...

Shep looks so BIG I thought I had missed a switch
oh yeah, lightbulb
the cam is zooomed in

magpie said...

BWE and BWO cams trick me sometimes Jo..
I hit refresh and somehow what IS becomes WAS...kind of wonky like that
Yes, sad for sure...
so quick how it all changed :(

magpie said...

I hope Puddles will be OK, Lynne...

DanaMo said...

No action today. I am disappointed. I want to see these eggs hatch. Maybe tomorrow while the kids are here that would be fun. We wouldn't get any work done though!

wvgal_dana said...

Lynne hoping that letting Puddles rest a day or two will fix the problem.

Thinking of you Margy♥

Linda said...

Shep is up....and off the eggs

Linda said...

Poof Shep

Linda said...

Belle flies in over 6 and settles in on eggs....

wvgal_dana said...

Belle moving eggs again then wiggle wiggle.

Linda said...

Belle up, repositions herself, does a little egg roll and settles down facing 6

magpie said...

Wow that was something!
they are precise about their actions

Maybe, a small dark colored spot on the underside of the egg further away

Linda said...

Maybe facing 7-8ish LOL.....

magpie said...

thanks DanaWV
I'm good, just trying to figure out to make an Oatmeal Creme Pie into a clear liquid ! ☺

Costume Lady said...

I got so excited, just now, saw a crack in the egg, then Belle moved the flugg and the 'crack' went away:(

magpie said...

I hear the Spring Peepers at the nest but I have the speakers turned waaaaay up to do that...
now going to turn them down again

magpie said...

Yes Wanda, I went through the same thing here !
Just too difficult to say anything for sure about those eggs except that they are ROYAL, and they are THERE, and well-tended.
Hello !

Linda said...

WANDA - we are all on pins and needles, aren't we??

EGGCITED!!

I am happy to be waiting with all of you for my first season, too!!!

When I joined in with you, it was after we had a hatch! Not a happy time at the nest then, but we sure are hoping for a happy season this time!!

magpie said...

interesting noise like an ocean wave, faint whoosing sound, at the nest

Sandi said...

Tax man has come and gone - we made out better than I thought for 2011 (don't owe anybody)but our quarterly tax payments for 2012 are killers!!

MARGY, can hear the peepers when I put my ear right down to the laptop speaker! I'm picturing an oatmeal creme pie dissolved in milk - it's liquid, but certainly not clear!!

JO, will try to stay awake for Alcatraz tonight - agree that it has been an interesting series to watch! And yes, we record Smash. Also agree that seeing the MT nest at Blackwater makes me sad - reminds me of last March, and I sure don't want to think about that!

I see Belle is back for the night shift. I wasn't able to watch all day long but, when I WAS watching, I didn't see either eagle doing any jumping up and looking underneath to see what was happening.

Costume Lady said...

MARGY, I think you are hearing all that liquid you have been drinking:)

Lynne2 said...

something is slowing my computer way down.

Lynne2 said...

I closed facebook and it's fine now. Hmmmm

Lynne2 said...

Just got a recorded call from Maine telling me that they can help reduce my IRS back unpaid taxes. I don't have any unpaid back taxes. SO annoying.

magpie said...

Good, Sandi...
about the taxes, so far at least...

You could be right, Wanda...!
How is the Knee today, and your step down from the medicines yesterday ??

Lynne2 said...

LOL Wanda! I told Sandi yesterday when she thought she saw something...welcome to the OMG I THINK I SEE A PIP portion of egg watching!

Sandi said...

LYNNE2, I was just on FB and a friend posted, wondering if FB was "acting funny" today or if it was her computer. So, maybe something's up w/ FB. Sure can't be that great old/new computer of yours!! =)

magpie said...

Belle certainly is not tucked yet, and darkness is encroaching rapidly...

she's loooking at the eggs !

Lolly said...

Hi all! You have really chattered away this afternoon. Took me forever to catch up, and I had several really good laughs. Thank you and a big (((hug))) for all.

Time to go fix dinner now. But, I'll be baaaaack! LOL Make a Oatmeal Cream Pie into a clear liquid!!!!!

Lolly said...

Egg roll...see two whole, white eggs!

Lynne2 said...

wpw, she is really checking those eggs out!

magpie said...

Let's try to bribe the guards and anyone on campus to drive past the nest with their High Beams on all night

Sandi said...

I just went to full screen to watch Belle roll the eggs and I can promise everyone one thing. With the resolution of our cam at night time, we aren't going to know if one of those eggs has a crack unless a little eaglet holds his wing up and waves to us and says hello!

Belle is still up and circling. Now settling back down on the eggs, facing 12ish.

Lynne2 said...

too dark and I can't tell but I don't think she has wiggled back on them yet

Lynne2 said...

seems to be on alert

Lynne2 said...

LOL Sandi and Margy!

Sandi said...

Speaking of being on alert, LYNNE2 I assume you have heard nothing - from Steve's Mom or from Wendy's boyfriend? You must be completely wired!!

magpie said...

just kinda trying to keep you in one place with us here, Lynne
(( Hugs ♥ ))

Lynne2 said...

No Sandi, I haven't heard anything. I am very wired, and don't think I will sleep tonight, but I'll try.

Lynne2 said...

Thank you all...I'm so glad to be back here again. If I had no computer during this time and couldn't chat with you all, I'd be a basket case for sure!

Judie said...

No need to get out any cooking supplies. Sarah Lee has baby cheese cakes. Sheesh. Wish I hadn't gone there.

Southern kale is likely the only southern food that is not fried (although I bet it has been tried). To cook a mess of kale southern style is to use chicken broth for the liquid, add crisp-cooked bacon pieces or drippins, some salt and pepper, and
Tobasco to taste. Cook until deceased (the kale not the cook).

Belle still on duty when I checked.

Off to watch Hoarders. BBL

Lynne2 said...

hey, I have a slice of cheesecake in the frig....uuuummmmmmm.

I really don't think Belle is laying on the eggs. Looks to me like she is still standing over them. But it's so dark now I can tell for sure

Lynne2 said...

something has her attention now

Lynne2 said...

maybe it's just the zoom that is giving me an optical illusion. Or maybe we a Pipuation unfolding!

Judie said...

Sandi, congrats on the taxes.

Lynne2 - all will be fine. Just think about bobbleheads, your wonderful husband, and your wonderful blog family. We are here. Oh, what's wpw? Don't think that has anything do do with southern cooking. Recorded message is phishing--hang up.

Judie said...

Oh, Chrissy says Isla could return as early as March 22 - that's the earliest. Sure hope that sweet bird makes yet another voyage.

Mema Jo said...

Judie - why are you watching Hoarders..

Sandi said...

JUDIE, I don't even like kale, but I bet I would like it fixed the way you just described!

DANAMO, welcome home - LONG day, even with no kidlets!

Lynne2 said...

wpw is the opposite of pwp. Silly girl.

Judie, I bet Chrissy is on pins and needles. It would be nothing short of a miracle if Isla returns this year.

Margy, the bedroom window will be open for sure but I hope I CAN hear them over the very rowdy and happy peepers!

Mema Jo said...

I am not staying on here much longer
I feel a silly giggly mood coming on

Wanda I strongly agree with you.
That noise like an ocean wave, faint whoosing sound, at the nest is NOT at
the nest - It is in Margy's belly!

Drink on Margy! Soon you will just
Float Out! Roflmbo

Lynne2 said...

OK, I couldn't stand it any longer so I called the gang....neither Steve or his mom answered. DANG. Hopefully getting some dinner.

I need to clean the litter boxes, feed the critters, vacuum the floor (Puddles was so kind as to be almost good in letting me trim up her feet and the underside of her ears) and get a shower.

Okay Miss Smartee Pants Lynne2 - no kale for you. So what is the opposite of wpw?

Thank goodness I have an answer to the rushing water sound. Poor Darth has been searching for a water leak. Told him to stop. It's Margy!

Yes, well Hoarders. A topic I find ever so fascinating.

OK all, I am calling it a night gonna take a quick bath and then try to stay awake for all of Alcatraz (thanks to the DVR, we can start watching at about 9:20 and still finish by 10! It has been a pleasure visiting with everyone this evening, even without a hatch! I'll be sure to tune in again first thing in the morning!! Goodnight, my eagle friends!

LYNNE2, all kidding aside, my prayers are with you and Steve and his family tonight.

And my prayers are always with LYNN!

JUDIE...I love kale, especially baby kale. Can't find that anymore. Always a bunch of older leaves wrapped up with a rubber band. Use to be able to pick the leaves that you want and put them all in one of those plastic baggies provided by the grocery store...I always picked the very green, very small baby leaves. They didn't take long to cook and melted in your mouth. I have a recipe for Kale, White Bean and sausage soup, delicious. I can give that to CarolAnne, if I can find it:)

My MIL just called. Lee finally called her...seems he DID call earlier and somehow she missed the phone ringing. Anyway, the only update he could provide is that they told him that Wendy seems to be beginning to breath on her own, but they will not yet be removing the ventilator.

Traffic and pit stops lost them a bit of time, and they now think they won't get to Jacksonville til around 2ish at least.

The critters are fed, the dogs are walked (lightly drizzling here), the litter boxes are clean. Now I'm off to get my stuff ready for the morning and get in the shower. BBL

Okay Lynne!
Well, they sure do have to eat, and have those pit stops...and get fuel..
Slightly better report from Lee regarding Wendy...
We're with you !
xo (( Hugs ♥))

Waiting in anticipation for a hatching, I haven't had a chance to peek in on the nest tonight.

Tori is now in step down and will go to inpatient pt Friday since she is technically medically cleared. If tori can get on her feet before Friday they may consider outpatient at home

paula eagleholic said...

Robyn, is Tori off the vent?

magpie said...

Fantastic, Robyn....
nest all dark for now
no apparent hatching yet that we know of...
but YOUR little one is coming right along ☺

Robyn said...

Yes and eating with no restrictions and tomorrow she does 1 more swallow study to show she can now drink liquids that are thickened.

Tori is doing great just none too happy about inpatient so it may motivate her to get walking thru the foot pain which is getting better
