Good morning Eagle Family!
Fell asleep early last night
and didn't wake up until 7!
Haven't
slept that late in a very long time.

Prayers and cards for Thelma.
I pray she has the best doctor
in the place and she responds quickly.

Love, prayers and pain relieving hugs for Lynn & Kay!
I pray you each have a great day with lots of smiles!

No blogging from the Pavilion. She is not allowed to have her phone or mp3 player. I know she is lost without her music. We get to visit today. I have to find out who is planning to go when because she is only allowed 2 visitors at a time.

Sandi said...

How cute is this??? Belle is taking food from Shep's beak and both are feeding Lil chick!! Wow, priceless!!

JudyEddy said...

both feeding LIL

Sandi said...

I'm sure Judy got that feeding on video, but I put a pic on my blog that shows Belle taking food from Shep's beak and then they were both feeding the chicks. What a great scene! Shep has poofed and Belle is still feeding them both.

Yes, Sandi my pool is heated. We did that to extend the season on both ends. We use it much more in the spring than in the fall. By fall it seems everyone is done with the pool and no one gets in. I sit out there a lot so I don't like to close it, but in the spring the kids will get in as soon as it's open!

glo said...

Good morning everyone. Glad the cam is on so folks can help keep an eye on the kids :-) I am on the last 6 hours of another 3 day webinar so not watching to closely. Enjoy your day.

glo said...

Had to go watch a couple minutes of the feeding though. So cute. Lookin good at the sycamore :-)

Just got back from dropping Kate off at
her mother's. Her Mom is gone and they're packing up her house today and
moving her to an assisted living facility. Please pray that all
goes well. Her Mom doesn't know that's where she will end up tonight...but Kate will be staying with her.
Everyone is very nervous.

Sandi said...

Wow Lori - hope all goes well for Kate (and her mom)! Had a very long talk with my mom last weekend about the fact that she is not going to be able to stay in her home with a flight of steps for much longer. I begged her to start investigating a Plan B. My sister has had the same conversation with her. Mom refuses to even consider other possibilities. My sister and I may find ourselves in the same position as Kate - not something I'm looking forward to AT ALL!!

Lynne2 said...

Good morning!

Yes, I am still home. Steve spent the last 2 days making some money doing some heavy duty yard work and he is pooped. So he has til 10am to sleep and then I'll release the hounds on him! Then, hopefully, EAGLES!

LORI, prayers for Kate and her mom.

Lolly said...

Good morning! Just a quick check in. Need to eat and run!

Have a great day!

Lynne2 said...

Sandi, sound like your own mom is much like our Mother Carolyn, friend Dave's mom, and our good friend. She has multiple health problems and last year, actually I think it was a year ago this weekend, we moved her to a "senior" apartment complex. Great place, lots of activities, and especially she needed to not do stairs. She went, but it didn't last long. She never made the adjustment. So, she is back in her house. Sigh....She moved into that house when she got married and has never lived anywhere else. She became so distressed and depressed in the apartment. SO the family gave in. We all help her and look in on her regularly. The big issue is that there is no bathroom on the main floor.

Lynne2 said...

Just got an email from my niece...she and my brother were taking a bike ride and the found some tadpoles! She is very excited and is going to send some pictures so I can help her ID them!

Sandi said...

Would like opinions. Got an email from the DE Center for Inland Bays about their rain barrels that they're selling for $30. The very best place for me to put one - b/c of the roof run-off and b/c of the proximity to my garden areas - is in the front of my house. Part of me thinks I would like looking "green" but another part of me thinks a rain barrel in my front "yard" (we really don't have a front yard - the whole front of the house is 2 gravel driveways with garden areas on each side and right in the middle) would look tacky. I would ask a gal who teaches with me and is a great artist to hand paint it for me, so it wouldn't be plain. What do y'all think? Tacky?? Trendy??

Lori O. said...

There are lots of issues with Kate's Mom.
A 3 story house, and she's 90 with not so great balance.
She has fallen before but won't admit it.
You can tell from her injuries.
Prayers for you, too Sandi, having to deal with
this issue!
It's been very hard on Kate.
Very nice of you, Lynne, to help with your friend Dave's Mom.

Lori O. said...

Trendy. Sandy!

Lynne2 said...

Go for the front if that's the best place!

magpie said...

oh dear Lori....I am sorry for these tough times for Kate's Mother and Kate....

prayers for good outcomes...
and that Kate can get back home before too long also....
xo ♥

Sandi said...

So cute. One of the chicks is rearranging the greenery. I put a pic on my blog of my thoughts on how I would have the rain barrel painted.

Lynne2 said...

That is a beautiful rain barrel!

Lori O. said...

Thanks, MARGY! Do you have a long day today?
I hope today is your Friday!

Sandi - Get the rain barrel - WOW such
a decorative one - beautiful! Love the design of flowers.

Mema Jo said...

Lori - I will pray for Kate to have the
strength to do this for her Mom and
may her Mom realize it is an act of love.

I really hope I don't turn into a ungrateful mom but I too have the feeling of wanting to Pass On in my forever home. But I know that may not happen...

DanaMo said...

Doesn't look like I am going to make it over to S'town. Gonna go get pool chemicals and start doing yard work, get the awning up and all that fun spring stuff!

DanaMo said...

Lori I hope things work out for Kate's mom. Tough situation, but probably for the best.

Thinking of Thelma today!!
Lynn too!

I think God must have put some Miracle Gro on the nest during the night. Babies are growing so fast.

We get to visit T-Bird at 1 p.m. Her sister is coming up from Richlands to visit too.

Mema Jo said...

Shep is in - I wasn't watching but I
think that is a new fish near the
egg cup. Not feeding at this time but
both eaglets are awake

Mema Jo said...

Sharon be sure she knows she is missed! ♥

magpie said...

(( Hugs )) Sharon and T-Bird,
Buddy and all the family

magpie said...

too funny
those babies pretty much continue to be covered up with bedding

Mema Jo said...

Both parents in the nest..
Belle at 12 the other at 6 is Shep who
is eating....

Mema Jo said...

Belle just dragged a fresh fish from
the egg cup area and is at 12 eating

Both eaglets in the center.. they may
start moving towards parents who
are eating at the rails.........

Sandi said...

Shame on anyone who stands to close to a tree with an active eagle nest in it!!! Boy, those kids can make that poop fly!!

Mema Jo said...

One eaglet is up at 12 with Belle and is getting fed

After staring at dad and not getting his attention, Lil is looking confused as to where to head for food........

Costume Lady said...

OMG...that was the longest poop shoot I've seen to date!:)

DanaMo said...

Mema Jo said...

OWWWWWWWWWWW DMO
I am laughing at you using your
Lab Money!

DanaMo said...

Good to see Lynn. Sorry you are weak, please rest. Heating pads are definitely wonderful. I understand I will be living with mine after my Ablation on the 13th. My husband said that I sure know how to pick a date, Friday 14th!

Sandi, how are your stitches? I hope you are okay and not too itchy!

Mema Jo said...

If Belle were not on the rail - that flugg build up almost looks even with
the rail - those little ones could scoot right our of there

That Is Scary

Mema Jo said...

WOWSER

ANOTHER FISH

AND A BIG ONE AT THAT

Of course Shep flew in with it

Mema Jo said...

Belle flew out and it leaves an
open rail..........
