LYNN - Thank you for speaking your mind with honesty and sincerity. I share your frustration and am happy you brought this to the forefront.
Prayer is a very personal and very powerful. We do have amazing prayer power here and I hope we continue to pray for one another as we always have. We've seen some amazing answers, too!!
The important thing is that we respect everyone on this blog and do our best not to offend anyone!
JUDIE - I hope that I have not been one to offend you or to steer you away. I love your wit, your humor and your friendship here.
Whatever is going on, this serves to give us all a wake up call to be more considerate of one another as we treasure the friendships here.

So good to get some news about RED's surgery today. Hoping the pain is managed through the night.
There was a new post on CB for Tori, too a few minutes ago.
Dubby is falling asleep on the couch and won't go upstairs without me. Sweet.....yes, but sometimes I wish he would go up without me and give me some time to BLOG!! I don't have time until late some days.
I feel guilty not going to bed, so off I go.
Hoping tomorrow is a happier day all around.

reminding nurse
Tori reminded her nurse Nate today not to forget her abg (blood gas). Tori was pointing to her arm and was trying to say something so we got the board for her to tell us, her letters were a, b,l,o,g,d when we finally figured it out she was trying to say her abg, so Tori was reminding the nurse to check her blood gas, Tori is sure paying attention to everything now.
Tori had a great day, she was on the trache collar for 2 hrs then back to vent support, had a bronc that went well and did some laughing with the nurses.
Tori is craving coconut water and not happy that she can't drink anything yet, got upset with me when I drank some water from a cup. Note to self do not drink anything in front of Tori, hide it ;).
Tori also sat in the chair looking out the window and interacting with her dad and I.
Tori would like her dad to stay one night before he goes back home Saturday, she is upset he is leaving he has been here 6 weeks and plans on coming back to see her in a few months. Tori got pissy with him when he didn't ask the doctor fast enough if he can stay so she banged her hand down on the arm rest to show him
Each day is a new day.
My donut was delicious. Will make a quick check of FB, which I have missed all day....and then call it a day. Long one....emotional one....

Just found out yesterday that a BFF has colon cancer. Going to doc with her today or Monday. Don't want to go into too many details but she is going to see the BEST colo-rectal doc in town so that puts my mind at ease a little. Please keep her in your thoughts.
Cam keeps stopping this morning. Darn thing. Hard to blog when the cam needs constant attention.
Margy, how cool! Someone on here was darning last week, as I recall.
All the cam work took up my time. Must shower. Be back before I take off for work.

I have finally been given the go ahead to be able to let you know how blessed I am to announce that my son Josh and wife Shelly are expecting their first child on August 21, 2012. So that makes me a first time grandmother. I am so excited; have known since Christmas, but they wanted to wait until they were past the first tri mester. I am walking on a cloud.
Hope you don't think I am too much with this, but I am so excited and wanted to share. I just wish it could come as fast as Bell and Sheps will. :)
